Excellent place, excellent service, I loved it

The service is incredible; it's rare to find places where they speak Spanish and make you feel right at home. We would definitely return.

Wow, maybe the best coffee in town

The gentleman with the blue hair is rude and cannot get a polite ‘what did you say’ out of his mouth, but he can let out a loud ‘HEHHHH?’. Even if you are an English speaker.

The coffee is undrinkable, and if you say anything about it, the man with the blue hair goes wild and screams in your face. The man has no manners and doesn't make good coffee.

Thought I knew my coffee until I stepped into this beautiful spot! I was looking for a pour-over and loved how friendly the barista was, breaking down the notes of every single variety. Didn't get his name, but he had crazy cool hair and an awesome personality. I couldn't help but take a bag home, and I learned so much about the different harvest types. We went for a coffee and left with a masterclass. We'll be back for sure!

The minute you step in this cafe you are welcomed by the smell of well roasted coffee and the promise of a good cup of coffee … I love their cappuccino … the place is small and cozy for a quick cup before running to your work

The man with dyed hair was super rude; he was supposed to appreciate the fact that I spoke English to him, but instead, he tells me to hurry up because he still has things to do in English. Seriously, you are in Amsterdam, or you learn Dutch, or you shouldn't get irritated when someone is nice enough to speak English to you.

Cafecito was one of my favorite coffee stops in Amsterdam. The café has a modern, cozy atmosphere and is a great place to take a break while exploring the city. One of the best things about its location is that it’s very close to Museumplein, making it a convenient stop before or after visiting the museums. I highly recommend trying their seasonal coffee specials. I ordered the Iced Coffee Mood, and it was absolutely delicious. It was refreshing, well-balanced, and full of flavor. You can tell that the café takes coffee seriously and focuses on quality ingredients and preparation. Even though the café was quite busy when I visited, the service was friendly and efficient. The staff were welcoming, and the overall experience felt relaxed and enjoyable. The interior is stylish and comfortable, creating a nice space whether you want to sit for a while or simply grab a coffee to go. If you enjoy specialty coffee, Cafecito is definitely worth a visit. Between the excellent coffee, the seasonal drink options, and its great location near Museumplein, it’s easy to see why this place is so popular with both locals and tourists.

i visited cafecito a couple months ago. The coffee is good, I did not find anything special for the premium prices and vibe. I also tried a little cake/brownie, and i gotta say that unfortunately ruined the whole experience… it was dry and bland

I know it's normal to pay €3 for an espresso here in Amsterdam, but that's 5 ml of dirty water with coffee. It seems like a rip-off to me.

Beautiful matcha place as the location is very spacious. Happy to see they have a stamp system which you can store in your phone wallet. They serve matcha latte with coconut milk which was delicious. They music is very gezellig as it is 80 and 90 which makes it nice to stay around. I would advice the staff to wear language buttons as they only speaks English. Would have been nice to know before ordering. Overall a great place.

The best Iced Mango Matcha Latte!!

I stopped in by chance and got something I didn't expect. Hot chocolate! Chocolate, not cocoa. Sometimes miracles happen. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. Spacious space, pleasant atmosphere.

Choice of beautiful non traditional pastries like a matcha cake or pistachio apricot small bites cake. Coffee, chai and matcha available.

What a fantastic find! I visited Cafecito for a sit-down meal and was thoroughly impressed by the quality. The food and coffee were definitely the highlights—everything was served fresh, with rich flavors and beautiful presentation. You can tell they take pride in their ingredients. The service was also excellent; the staff was very welcoming and efficient. My only minor note is that the space can feel a bit crowded during peak hours, which is why I gave 4 stars for atmosphere, but the vibe is still great. It’s a neighborhood gem for breakfast or brunch. I’ll definitely be back for my caffeine fix!

The hot chocolate here is truly on another level, made with the best cocoa there is, and you can taste it immediately. Full, rich, and pure in flavor. You can just tell it's high quality. Absolutely recommended for every chocolate lover!

Cute & simplistic interior, super tasty white chocolate matcha (for 7€ - insane)! The prices are insane but the quality of the drinks I would say are great!! The staff wasn’t the nicest though - which was such a shame, hopefully they improve and if we ever come again we won’t experience the same …

Stopped on our way back to the train station and we were welcomed by the friendly staff. Sells lots of coffee making equipment and beans.

The cake was inedible, very dry. The staff wasn't nice either; I got a very unfriendly response to my comment about the cake. I won't be going here again; I'd rather go to the Coffee District.

Cafecito is one of the best and most consistent coffee roasters in the country. Their bean selection is up there with the more well-known roasters, and their baristas are some of the kindest and most knowledgable I've met. I'm never disappointed with the pour overs (they use the Poursteady machine here to great success) and their milk drinks are wonderful as well. The pastries are always on point too. Keep up the great work!

The V60 is absolutely delicious! We ordered their best-selling item; it has a fruity flavor.

The cappuccino’s creamy texture blended perfectly with the coffee. It was very smooth, well-balanced, and easy to drink. The coffee itself wasn’t too strong, yet it definitely satisfied the need for coffee. The temperature was just right, and the latte art on top was truly beautiful. Overall, I really enjoyed it.

I regularly go to Cafecito for a delicious coffee! Last time, I received excellent service from a girl with red/black hair. She's very knowledgeable and friendly! The coffee is always great (and not to mention the delicious pastries).

If you’re a coffee aficionado like me, this is not the place. The milk was way too hot and far from the creamy texture I expected.

I've been to several Cafecitos, but I find it incredibly bizarre that this one is so crowded. It's filthy, the trash cans overflowing, and people who drank flat white oats were thrown away on the second sip. The atmosphere is also great, with a few men hanging around the bar with the staff and chatting loudly. Definitely not a pleasant experience at this location.

Delicious matcha, highly recommended!

The coffee is excellent and the place is very cute with a few tables to sit at, but it's not really a breakfast spot. They only have a few small pastries. They should have croissants and more variety, it's a real shame. I saw a guy order a coffee and bring his own food and they didn't say anything to him, but it's best to ask.

A pleasant and professional place. You can see that they take coffee seriously and with respect. High-quality and delicious drinks and many milk substitutes. We had coffee and macaroni and it was excellent.

This is the place I naturally return to again and again. Every time I walk in, I’m welcomed with warmth and genuine kindness. The baristas are wonderful to talk with, each bringing such beautiful, uplifting energy — just like the owner, who always cares enough to go the extra mile. The matcha latte is exceptional, and the white chocolate matcha feels like a little moment of heaven. Their Chai, Golden, and Choco lattes are always silky-smooth and lovingly prepared to perfection. I also highly recommend their fresh coffee beans — finely selected and beautifully balanced. They even have a special little stack of treats for dogs, so sweet ! A place made with love, and you can feel it !🤍Mumtaz !!

I was treated extremely rudely by the employee with the red-and-black dyed hair, acrylic nails, and nose piercing. If you don't have an ounce of kindness in you, it's advisable not to work in hospitality. Unbelievable. Paying for coffee with cash is one thing, but I'm not paying to be yelled at from the moment I walk in.

Best ice latte but not the best hot latte

The iced matcha with white chocolate was good!

We ordered a hot turmeric latte, hot white matcha latte, and an iced white chocolate matcha latte. All three drinks were great and Ella was amazing! The iced white chocolate matcha wasn’t so sweet like other places so it was wonderful!

Was a #1 fan when they first opened – loved the stylish interior, branding & coffee. But since expanding… quality slipped, in my opinion. Sorry but my cappuccino tastes more like milk than coffee ☹️.

It's not worth the trip. I had a cold coffee filter. It was very weak and full of water, and I didn't like the service. The person who took the order served me without much enthusiasm. They only have a few types of desserts, all of which were cakes. Maybe the rest of the cold drinks are better because I see most people order them.

Their coffee is delicious. I consider it one of the best coffees in Amsterdam. I also liked the desserts. I thank the cashier for her sweet spirit. She was cooperative and explained things to us. I might repeat the order.

The only place I didn't like at all during my trip to Amsterdam. The two women working at the café had no interest in answering our questions about our order because we didn't speak their language. Their service and their continued effort to serve us weren't good because we didn't know how or couldn't communicate. It was as if it were a nuisance to serve us. Otherwise, the coffee was average and the matcha was also average. I don't recommend it.

As a coffee and matcha lover I am always looking for places that offer quality products. Cafecito is definitely not that. Quality is hard to find. Matcha was just a cup of milk and the coffee too sour. Waste of money for this commercial place.

This is one of my favorite coffee spots in my neighborhood and probably in all of Amsterdam. They seriously make the best matcha, I’m absolutely in love with it. I got all my matcha tools from here, and it’s also where I get my matcha supply. The staff and the owners are incredibly sweet and always so helpful. If you’re planning to grab a coffee and there’s a location near you, I definitely recommend checking it out
