Many other coffee shops around that are much better than here - coffee was not made well & poor service

Ok coffee and a cozy little cafe, for a coffee on the go.

We came for breakfast this morning, and there was no one else there. We ordered two dishes, waited 30 minutes, and then they forgot about us. How could two food orders be forgotten when no one else was there? The barista simply fell asleep. Totally disappointed.

I ordered a flatwhile, it tasted very bad so I had to return it and asked for another one. The second one tasted also very bad 🤣 just with more bitterness of the coffee taste. No flavor at all. Not recommend it for any coffee drinker.

The coffee is okay. I've just never seen such a dilapidated toilet!

Unfortunately the coffee was burnt, the cappuccino foam had too much air, a place that I do not recommend for lovers of specialty coffee... Nevertheless the waitresses were very friendly and the place warm!

Just ordered a flat white for €5.40. And this is what it looks like. It's truly undrinkable and boiling hot.

A pleasant place, but the staff speaks so softly that you can barely understand them. The prices are exorbitant. The flavored chai latte was good, but it was so spicy that my throat was sore. A croissant and a chai latte cost €10.50.

Got coffee this morning, ridiculously expensive for 2 cappuccinos, the ratio wasn't right, it was just really tiny for a cappuccino and was very bitter which didn't taste at all, yuck really wasting money even if it's a few euros coffee should taste really good so people definitely don't drink your coffee here my advice is spend your time somewhere else!!!

The location is great for a stroll through Vondel, but wow, the coffee here is terrible. The espressos are sour and taste burnt, and the staff really don't know anything about coffee and can't fix it!

Very nice place across from the park, I felt quite comfortable, good for studying. I found it a bit pricey; I paid 50 euros for two sandwiches and two drinks.

Not the best coffee, not a proper barista… especially for the price and the name of the place you would expect a better coffee (flat white was too big and milk was too hot). The place also feels a bit dirty, and there is usually only one person behind the bar which makes everything a bit chaotic. Would go to another place for better coffee and a nicer place.

Enjoyed a delicious cappuccino on a Sunday morning. Unfortunately, the croissant arrived on a disposable plate, along with a plastic knife and jam wrapped in plastic, which I found a shame (both environmentally and for the experience).

Came here just for coffee, but it was disappointing - very bitter and burnt taste, plus the flat white milk wasn’t frothed well, it was full of bubbles … Other coffee places around offer much better quality coffee

The oatmilk coffee I ordered was made twice with regular milk. Also, they use a lot of disposable materials, very unsustainable

Low grade coffee or barista didn’t know how to pour. Got a tiny long black for €2,90. Nice place with upstairs sitting area that feels like a library close to Vondelpark.

Studied here for the afternoon and really enjoyed it. Only downfall is no charging point, otherwise the food, matcha and service was great.

Pretty bad quality coffee beans, and their matcha powder is from Holland&Barrett without even a proper whisk. Regardless of being located next to Vondelpark, the cafe does not at all have a cozy place environment, and the staff is rude and pretentious. When I went down to use the bathroom, I have seen 2 wet dogs in the kitchen, while the employee touched them and had no gloves making the food.

The coffee is over-roasted, hence bitter. I had to return it, it was undrinkable, even in a cappuccino. I never return coffee, as usually you get what you pay for, but not here. I asked for soy milk and got oat instead. They only have paper cups, even if you want to sit down. There were no snacks left around lunchtime. The location is fantastic, but wow, such a disappointment.

Very nice and clean little bar, great location near Museumplein. The cappuccino is great and their banana bread is very good and the croissants are also very good. The staff is friendly. Definitely recommended.

It‘s so loud in there, yes some noise does come with being at such a small cafe, but here it was just unbearable. coffee machine, milk foamer - I felt like being at a construction site. The employees didn’t have much consideration to keep it a quiet and cozy place for guests but were randomly dropping stuff, smashing, being loud - it could be a nice place but unfortunately it was just not doable to have a normal conversation there :(

A beautiful place with quality food. Upstairs, there's a well-defined space for young people and students; the ground floor is more traditional. The wait staff are lovely.

We had a flat white and a matcha latte. Both drinks were too big. Flat white is supposed to be a small, strong drink and this one was really big. If I wanted a latte, I would have ordered one. Flavor-wise it was okay but nothing special. But don’t even get me started on the matcha latte. I know I take risks buying a matcha latte in a cafe but still… it was muddy, sandy, cheap very low quality taste. Even Oatly couldn’t lift it. Never again. Staff was okay, the spot itself has some cosy corners you can sit in but the chairs had crumbs on them and cleanliness could have been a bit better.

The coffee was very delicious, the place was very comfortable and well decorated and the girls were super friendly in their service.

The coffee tastes bad, I tried two times. Please, change coffee beans, invest in the specialty coffee. Your coffee is bitter so much!

Coffee is good and if you are hungry get some delicious banana bread. They have the options for with nuts or without. Highly recommend.

A top atmosphere for a top breakfast!

Cute cafe next to Vondelpark for a good coffee and a slice of cake. Staff is fine, and there was enough space to sit on a Saturday around noon.

Decent coffee, lovely flaky pastries, cool ambiance. The food menu is very light here (muffins and pastries), so if you’re very hungry it’s not the best place for you, but otherwise a great place to enjoy a hot drink and soak in the scene.

I want to give it 5 stars. Really hood service, nice place yo sit and get sone work done, which seems to be the vibe they are going for.... however if that is the vibe you are going for, you need stable wifi, and they didn't have it. You connect to the network and get no internet. I had to use my mobile network.

Coffee is good, community vibe, faster service than most cafes I've been to in Netherlands, vegan options, quality juices. Love their style and signage. And the cute dogs!

The sweetest. There was a beautiful blonde woman aging gracefully that was very kind. Sandwiches are top notch ! The carpaccio is stunning and of high quality. Coffee’s are good but not wauw. More classic style of coffee then then artisan bakeries.

Prices are average (maybe a little higher). We tried matcha, banana bread and croissant. Matcha was standard. Banana bread was nice, but we would have preferred it warmed and served. The croissant was fresh but much more expensive, even compared to Paris. The location is very nice, very close to Vondelpark and close to Museumplein. The atmosphere was nice too.

Tiny cappuccino, there are better options in the area.

Great spot to just relax, drink your coffee and read a book. I ordered the chicken salmon sandwich which was honestly delicious. Truly recommend this place for breakfast and/or brunch!

I would not recommend this cafe at all... Bad atmosphere and the quality is not there! There are many other much better cafes in Amsterdam than this one :)

It had a modern urban atmosphere, but it didn't feel like you could relax. The sandwich bread was delicious. The drinks were bland and disappointing.

For possibly the most expensive coffee in Amsterdam it is trash. Have gone multiple times in the past year because the location is excellent and have always been so disappointed by the quality and service.

Cozy with great coffee and apple pie

Sandwiches are absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend the vegan deli or chicken avocado. We visit at least once a week! Only drawback is they use a lot of disposables.

Avoid if you are foreigners and if you do not meet the standards of the neighborhood. No hello, no service, nothing. 2 waitresses more focused on looking at their phones and talking about makeup than doing their job. Ashamed.

The place is cute in a convenient location but I won’t be coming back because the coffee quality and the service weren’t up to the standards.

Great coffee, but what prices...!

Did not enjoy the oat cappuccino, was way too hot and had a lott of unnecessary foam. Honestly it was straight up bad coffee. Like the taste was just not good. The cookie was nice but too sweet, you don't have to put so much sugar in the dough if you have chocolate which is pretty sweet already. It also sucks you can't get coffee in glass if you sit. The person at the counter was kinda rude as well. Place is clean though I'll give them that. Won't return

March 2024, A real strong flat white (as it should) nice taste to the coffee (Italian style espresso) on a real nice spot. Pity they don't have more outdoor seating. A nice setup inside, very cosy. Only the use of carton when staying in is a small minus.

I recently visited Coffee Concepts in Amsterdam and was genuinely impressed with the unique experience it offers. Burnt milk, which gives your cup of coffee a bitter aftertaste. Shame. I don't come here anymore.

Very busy at the working day morning, the fashion design and furniture. If service and drink can be better then will come back again.

Burned espresso and the flat white tasted weird, we through our coffees to the garbage outside and went to another place. Also they had to come back to recheck our orders after we paid. Amsterdam is not a place where you drink a bad coffee with so many good roasters in town

Iconic coffee store on a global scale !! Right next to the Vondelpark, and close to some of Amsterdam finest boutique stores. They elevate in more than just (their own) coffee, I highly recommend their sandwiches, juices 🥤 and sweets and the 🆕 interior looks absolutely amazing !!

It's the sloppiest place I've seen in Amsterdam for a long time. The employees are mostly asking the customers, why did you come? We were fine here, you came and disturbed my comfort, magazinebis.

What was found by chance did not leave anyone indifferent. This concept is new to me, because I am from another country. But I liked everything so much. Everything ingenious is simple

It looks like a coffee shop with an identity crisis. The coffee was okay and was served in paper cups even though we took a seat in the shop. During our visit, confusion grew over the concept of this business. Everything seems to be for sale: from a €200 chess board to tableware, home perfumes, truffle chips and even electric toothbrushes. We were most surprised about the latter...

I was there with my partner in October before making a visit to the Stedelijk Museum. They only had one employee both manning the cashier and making the drinks, which is already a bad sign—no matter the size of your coffee place you need two people behind the counter, one for orders and one for making the drinks. The employee was clearly already overworked and overwhelmed and a long line was forming all the way outside the shop, then I had to watch an older woman who I assume is either the owner or connected to the owner pick up a piece of paper from the overflowing trash bin, go up to the employee and complain she wasn’t emptying out the bin often enough. How do you expect a single person to clean the floor, take the orders and make the drinks? This place takes one star because treating your employees properly and providing them with a healthy and safe work environment is the first bar to clear, then we can start talking about the decoration or the quality of the coffee.

Echt een hidden gem in oud-zuid/Vondelparkbuurt. Goeie koffie maar ook goeie broodjes. Vers gemaakt, snel, en bijzonder smaakvol. Slim concept waarin scherpe voorbereiding en toch vers hand-in-hand sanen gaan.

I’ve been to this cafe throughout the years as I live nearby, but I always found the service slow and sloppy and the coffee just meh, so I tend to avoid it. I heard they’ve renovated and because I was around the corner I thought I give it another try. The place does look nice, but the service and coffee haven’t improved a bit. I ordered a double cortado and had to wait like 5 minutes for service- ok, I can wait. The lady at the bar seemed either very novice or some sort of intern- she misplaced the cup and most of the double shot went down the drain. She didn’t notice and so I made her aware. She said she would add a bit more espresso to my cup but ended up adding too much - triple cortado maybe? The cherry on top was that I got my coffee served in an ‘office coffee corner’ style plastic cup, stained from the leak. So, I ended up loosing time, having an overpowered coffee that I didn’t ask for and burning my hands as I went for a walk… so much potential, but alas, for such a priced coffee, I won’t be coming back…

Interesting concept but I didn’t get it, does the concept change every now and then? Why do they use paper/plastic cups to serve coffee? What’s the link between Chanel and coffee? Questions questions. Maybe that’s why I’ll go back.

Absolutely stunning coffee ! Highly recommend this Cafe for a perfect oat milk latte, kind and lovely service from the staff, and a wonderful atmosphere all around. My husband doesn't drink coffee, and they had amazing protein shakes that he loved ! It couldn't have been more perfect. For a coffee shop to offer not just amazing coffee, but also additional options that are high level for non coffee drinkers - major kudos to this place ! Best coffee in Amsterdam.

Ugodan kafić. Tu dođete na miru popiti kavicu i pojesti sendvič. Može se lijepo i raditi na laptopu. Osoblje je super. Atmosfera u kafiću opuštena.

Obilan doručak, sa kavom sam oduševljena. Ugodno osoblje i ambijent.
