THE BEST FOOD I HAD IN AMSTERDAM

Several nice plates but the taste wasn’t special/unique. Very aesthetic. Waitress was nice. The manu isn’t expensive per se but I don’t think it’s worth it. Wine was nice. Wouldn’t repeat tho.

Upon arrival, I was kindly escorted to my table. However, after waiting 20 minutes, I still hadn't received a menu or drinks list, so I decided to go get it myself. I eventually looked up the menu on your website before the meal. Fortunately, after several attempts, I managed to speak to someone and place an order. The food was served quickly and was delicious, but the drinks didn't arrive until after the meal. When I asked for a glass of water at that time, it unfortunately never came. Eventually, I walked to the bar myself for the second time to get it. In summary: the food is fantastic and served quickly, but the service is not very attentive and seems understaffed. The seating was a high bar table at the top of the stairs, which was not very comfortable on the bar stools. Finally, there was a mistake when settling the bill, as items appeared on the bill that I had not ordered. Fortunately, this was corrected quickly.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Remouillage. Our palates were treated to flavors we will savor forever. The dishes were thoughtfully prepared. The sauces were so good that we used a spoon to savor every drop. The wines were carefully selected based on the dishes we were served while keeping in mind our tastes. We definitely will go back when we return to Amsterdam.
