Great staff, atmosphere management is amazing

After watching a nice show by the Amsterdam Amateur Ballet we stayed here for bites and drinks. Lovely atmosphere, very peaceful sittings by the water and friendly staff.

It's always relaxing and fun to visit here. There are a few board games and books you can enjoy. Anyway, it can be busy at times as it's just by the university. There are inside and outside tables.

Last Tuesday, I was faced with the ultimate new-classmates-turned-lunch-buddies dilemma: How do I look engaged, ask open-ended questions, and respond with witty commentary.. all while trying to scarf down a sandwich mere minutes before our lecture? To speak or not to speak—or more specifically—to speak or to chew; that was my question. Well, Crea ended up being a delicious solution to my friend or food conundrum. The sandwich bread they use is perhaps the most perfect texture I’ve ever experienced for get-to-know-you-chat munchies: the outside is crisp and hearty while the inside is soft, making it easily chewable. Together, they make for a satisfying crunch without the long-form chewing that most other roll or baguette-based sandwhiches require. Because of this bread, I was able to take a quick bite, chew while thinking of a suitably funny remark, and respond to my new friends in perfect tempo. Thanks, Crea!

Unfair prices. If you're not a filthy rich expat, I'd spend your money elsewhere. It's 20eu for a pitcher that contains 5beers. Only 1 km away you only pay 14 euros... unfortunately unaffordable for Dutch students. Have fun

Recuperó su lugar en la universidad. Supongo que es para estudiantes, pero cualquiera puede entrar. Es un buen lugar para ponerse al día con alguien mientras toma una copa y tal vez tomar algunos aperitivos. No demasiado ruidoso y con muchos asientos. Incluso puedes sentarte junto al canal si hace suficiente calor.

it was crowded inside but it is also nice to sit outside for some coffee/beer, the café is a self-service café, coffee is around 4€

The cafe at the Amsterdam campus is a great spot to chill out. They've got a cozy vibe and offer a wide range of beers, including some fancy ones like IPA's. Plus, they serve up tasty snacks like nachos, bitterballen, pizza, and sandwiches. And don't forget to try their delicious chai! Even though it can get a bit crowded, especially for bigger groups, you can usually find a seat at the bar. And if the weather's nice, you can enjoy sitting outside by the water. Overall, if you're looking for a relaxed place to hang out with friends and enjoy good food and drinks, this cafe has got you covered!

Vegan food is here... to die for!! They serve egg mayo (read: lede mayo / murder mayo) with the VEGAN flames. No respect for animals. THEY ADJUSTED IT! BIG LOVE <3 LEED NO MORE, LIVE THE CHICKEN!!

Meerdere dingen zijn duurder dan op de kaart. Toen ik daar wat van ze, kreeg ik een onbeschoft antwoord dat de prijzen omhoog waren gegaan. Geen sorry, niets. WAARDELOZE tent waar je dus gewoon opgelicht wordt.

Crea cafe is a nice spot for a drink or snack. It can get really busy in the evenings if there are shows in the two theatres.

Cozy in cooler weather and with lovely outdoor seating next to the canal for warmer days. Friendly staff and great drinks and snacks. Definitely one of my favorite places in the area.

Marvelous student café, extremely friendly staff and very relaxed music and atmosphere. Prices are VERY reasonable, perfect for a quick bite with the optional drink!

They have a really great location, food prices and often host interesting events, would recommend! Also have a piano in the bar.

Studentcafe and social centre with good ambience and prices.

Geweldige plek, goede prijzen en voldoende plaats. Jammer dat de muziek(dancehall) hier keihard op staat, hierdoor is er geen mogelijkheid tot studeren. Ik kom hier niet meer terug vanwege die herrie.

Geen studenten prijzen, redelijk standaard café prijzen. Trap naar toilet is wel uitdaging, erg stijl en hoog. Verder lijkt assortiment alcoholvrij nog duidelijk bepaald door de brouwerij, waardoor je bijna de hele avond aan de spa rood zit want er is bij fris alleen keuze tussen zoet en nog zoeter. Zou mooi zijn als de (kleinschalige) alcoholvrije initiatieven iets meer aandacht krijgen bij samenstelling van het assortiment. Borrelhap is prima, standaard zoals bij veel cafés in de regio.

Makkelijk, betaalbaar en goed verzorgd eten voor studenten prijzen, maar voornamelijk het barpersoneel is fantastisch! Zeker een aanrader voor iedereen die een gezellige avond tegemoet wil gaan.

Esra bien para la gente que estudia o trabaja en la universidad, pero es alejado para otro tipo de gente.

Several times their unprofessional staff kept us waiting while others were served who came later to the bar. I won't go there anymore. It's really a disappointment.

Lovely place. It is in CREA just in the entrance next to events hall where Nerd Nite takes place.
