I didn't enquire about the price, paid the price.. thats my mistake. PLEASE ASK THE PRICE about each and everything properly. Also ASK THE BILL after the payment. Felt like a SCAM, these are my initial days here in Den Haag. From now on I'll be more alert about prices. Bad experience.

The chicken was poor quality and probably way past its sell-by date. I got severe food poisoning afterward. I also paid more than what was listed on the menu, as others have said!

Extremely overpriced, bland, barely warm (microwaved). Rude staff. Charges double the price written on the menu. Charges €5 extra for cheese. Make sure to ask for price before purchasing or eating or you will be intentionally misled - we were charged nearly double what we expected to pay. Unsurprised to read of people getting food poisoning here considering the way the meat for panini was left out in the warm cabinetry

They have no shame. The prices on the menu aren't real. They charge you whatever they want and more. Since they know we're tourists, they charge you whatever they want with complete impunity. I don't recommend it at all. The food is of poor quality, much less Italian. Pasta with pesto sauce and chunks of raw carrot, but where did they get the recipe from?

I’ve eaten here several times and recently noticed more of the same that everyone here is complaining about. The menu says €5.80 for a simple sandwich. We ordered two, and two child-sized San Pellegrino. Somehow the bill became €23, and this was after waiting 15 minutes for two little panini (we were the only ones there). It’s a shame because they have a nice concept and location, but they’ll lose customers if they keep up shady business practices. Doesn’t help them that there’s an Italian deli right next door.

I agree with what others have already written: the prices are incorrect. I ordered a panini with cured ham and two bottles of water—and to my surprise, I was charged €15. According to the menu, the sandwich cost €6, so how this total was arrived at is a mystery to me. It seems this isn't a one-time error, as several people have reported the same thing in their reviews. This gives the impression that there's a structural issue with the pricing. Very bad. If, as a customer, you can't trust the displayed prices, that's a serious problem.

A very bad experience. The price for microwaved pasta is exorbitant. There's no need to wait because there are hardly any customers. The average price is double what Google says. It's unfortunate that this type of restaurant has a license.

They charge what they want. We paid 90 euros for three plates of microwaved pasta, a dessert, and three drinks. Very disappointed.

We had lunch with five of us today. We had delicious Italian pastries and a lovely glass of white wine. The service from the mother and daughter was incredibly friendly. It's a shame we don't live nearby, but otherwise we would definitely come here more often.

Several guests mention unclear pricing, missing menu information, and unexpectedly high bills. That’s why I strongly recommend reading through the reviews carefully before deciding to eat here. It could save you money – and a lot of disappointment. Conclusion: My overall impression is very so so negative. As a paying customer, I expect honesty and transparency – especially when it comes to pricing. This restaurant failed in that regard. I cannot recommend it, and I will certainly not return. Fairness and respect toward guests start with clear communication – and that was sorely lacking here. Why do others write the same??? 🤔

Run-down, the place has seen better days. The price was calculated somehow, certainly not according to the menu: €70 for two small rolls and two Bolognese, which were very spicy and only warmed up in the microwave. One employee was okay, the other annoyed. Not a pleasant experience.

We each ordered a tuna panini because we'd run out of almost everything (which happens). The staff weren't exactly thrilled about it. One Coke Zero and a small bottle of San Pellegrino. Price: €27.50. We asked twice how the price was calculated (grilled vegetables €1.50, two kinds). We hadn't even asked for them, but okay. Are the extras on the menu €1? I still don't know how they arrived at that price, even after asking. Tip of the day: just be transparent, and when you're done with it, just stop.

A very nice place! The food was fresh, tasty and clearly prepared with good quality ingredients. Prices fully consistent with the card - no surprises. The nice atmosphere and honest approach to guests make it definitely worth visiting if you want good Italian cuisine. It was a nice gesture to give me a phone holder when the waitress saw that I was also making a video call during the meal for my comfort 🫶🏻

I had a panino on the table under the sun... A simple joy! Recommended for a easy but tasty lunch on the terrace.

We were there for lunch today and just wanted to eat a small panini. The service was very rude and seemed almost annoyed that customers were finally coming into the empty shop. The panini were freshly made for us on site. We were casually asked if we wanted cheese and vegetables on the bread. According to the menu, a panini costs €7. That means €14 for two. There were also two drinks (Sprite from a can and 0.33l Orangina). My friend came out after paying and said he had paid €30. Absolute impudence to offer vegetables and cheese for such a gigantic surcharge and then not even say anything or write it on the menu. Unfortunately it was a failure!

For the ones who say it’s good, they lying, don’t go there, thank me later 🫡

Erg aardige dame in de winkel en ze was lief voor onze dochter. We zochten even iets lekkers voor tussendoor. We hebben heerlijk Cannoli's meegenomen en een soort heerlijke krokante croissantjes. Smaakte heerlijk. Gezellig gesprekje gehad met deze dame.

La camarera era extremadamente grosera, el café era mediocre y los pasteles que comimos NO eran frescos. Definitivamente no volveré allí.

El personal aquí intencionalmente te estafa sin tener en cuenta tu experiencia como cliente. Comida guardada en gabinete sin refrigerar, prosciutto parecía completamente seco. La pasta se sometió a microondas y ni siquiera a una temperatura adecuada (fría en el medio). Un miembro del personal fue evitativo de dejarnos pagar por adelantado y presionante en querer que compráramos una bebida. Cuando finalmente fuimos a pagar descubrimos por qué - los precios que figuran en el menú son completamente deshonestos. El menú dice pasta para 9. 50 . Pero en su lugar nos acusaron 14. 50 . Al parecer esto se debe a que el menú dice pasta “a partir de las 9. 50 € sin embargo, cuando traducimos el menú (solo tienen menús holandeses) esto claramente no estaba escrito. Tienen un cartel en el escaparate anunciando pasta estudiantil para 8. 50 sin embargo no aceptarían una tarjeta de estudiante. Cuando les preguntamos si tenían alguna pasta que realmente calificara para el descuento estudiantil evitaron responder - supongo que el cartel es completamente engañoso y no tienen nada por ese precio. Lasaña aparentemente según ellos “no es pasta” y por eso cuesta 17 . 50 . Cuando nos interrogaron en todo el personal fue extremadamente grosero y en realidad reclutaron a otros clientes para que vinieran e intimidarnos, lo que fue aterrador y angustiante. La peor experiencia gastronómica que he tenido.

What a nice discovery this caterer/restaurant is. What a delicious meal we had. I read in a few messages that the hostess was not really friendly. That was not the case with us. What a nice and hospitable lady. Pastas are apparently made by mothers who come from Sicily. I ate 2 portions of pasta. We will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant.

Oh what a mistake today. Just too glum. Disinterested service under the heading you feel at home and grab it yourself. Antipasti, 2x spaghetti, two white, two soft drinks and a bottle of water....€91!!! And the antipasti? Two slices of Gouda cheese pre-cut and cut into strips! Also some tasteless meats. The spaghetti was tasty. How other guests were also served with disinterest...just cringe-worthy. Unfortunately I will never come here again. But it probably doesn't matter. For me, 10 tourists who will never come back, but the money has been raised. Very unfortunate.

Bad atmosphere and very unfriendly hostess. The pasta the children had was tasty. However, our antpasti was downright nasty. Everything was thrown on a plate, very fatty meats. And regular Dutch cheese slices, those pre-packed ones, that were among the meats. And the price was disproportionate. Now I run back and forth to the toilet with severe intestinal cramps and other discomforts that come with it. Never again for us!!

From the outside it seems like a nice place. However, upon entry there is no acknowledgment that you are present. The lady behind the counter was busy with something else, which is fine, but speaking to your customers and showing that you have seen them takes no time. She then takes the order without looking at us. After a short time it is put on the table without any emotion. Also completely ignored at checkout. Ultimately paid for two black coffees for 8(!) Euros...

Theft! A cappuccino and an espresso for €12! No drinks menu on the tables to rip you off.

I went here for a quick bite to eat. My panini was fantastic and the whole experience was perfect.

Yesterday we sat in an empty shop, still not served. Little coffee content. After smoking, the sandwiches were topped with bare hands. Almost no choice in terms of toppings and got very sick afterwards (food poisoning!!!!). On the toilet all evening and night. The bill was wrong and no receipt either! NEVER AGAIN!!

Saddly I didn't read the reviews on maps. The waitress scammed us. On the card the price was 9 Eur pasta, but I payed 16 EUR. The tap water that should be for free was 3 Eur. Just don't go there. The pasta was very bad, feels like was cooked from a few days ago.... I had food poisoning as well after eating here. I got so scammed here.... And it's Netherlands if you can believe it....

Food was decent. The waitress offered to add some veggies to our 3 meals and charged „9 times veggie“ which was 14.50€ as extra fee for that. Definitely felt like being scammed. Further points: no soap and no trash cans in the restrooms and one of our glasses was dirty.

If you want tasteless, over-priced food, this is your go-to place. We had lunch here, and it was a disaster from start to finish. My boyfriend ordered a pasta dish that was essentially just cooked pasta topped with pieces of ham, truffles, and grated cheese, all DRENCHED in oil. It resembled a pasta soup—just swap the liquid for oil. To add insult to injury, he also ordered a cannolo that never arrived. I opted for the "special" panino by the chef. What a disappointment! It was an olive ciabatta with an absolutely tasteless omelette, a single piece of sundried tomato, and an artichoke heart from a jar. Even an amateur could whip up something better at home. The best part? Together with two cups of coffee, we paid 36 euros. The math just doesn’t add up. According to the menu, the pasta was 9.50 euros, and the panino was no more than 7 euros. This place is a scam and a total rip-off. Avoid this restaurant at all costs.

Went in for lunch on a week day afternoon. It was quiet inside but the waitress was extremely friendly. I ordered the lasagne and a soft drink. It is lovely inside with nice decor. My lasagne was delicious, homemade and famous in the area. The portion size was perfect and enjoyed my meal. Would reccomend to anyone in the area.

De ontvangst was lauw, niet enthousiast. Serveerster had het liefst de hele dag met koffie aan tafeltje voor het raam zelf gezeten in haar klantloze restaurant. Hoewel smakelijk broodje was de bediening niet attent. Geen bestek en serveerster had oog noch oor voor de klant die haar aandacht zocht, maar niet gezien werd omdat serveerster constant met smartfoon bezig was! Afrekening was belachelijk. €7 voor een appelsap?! Eerst dachten we: dit is lekker, moeten dit adres onthouden. Helaas zullen we het voortaan voorbij lopen. Zo word je nooit populair als restaurateur.

Paid €16 euros for microwaved lasagna that tasted average. The prices for pastas on the menu said €9,50 so don’t go there if you don’t want to be scammed. Asked for a receipt and the lady said that she was going to email it to me while the email never arrived. The other pastas looked ugly and I say this as an Italian. Not recommended

We settled here when 2 of our favorite sandwich shops closed. The interior, the welcome and the small sandwich with "tuna salad" for more than 6 euros were all substandard. The chicken was gone, no fresh juices. Another sandwich that a colleague wanted to order was also gone.

Heerlijke broodjes, verrukkelijke cannoli! Je moet zelf binnen bestellen, vervolgens wordt je bestelling buiten op het terras gebracht. De bediening zou wat vlotter en vriendelijker kunnen.

Vandaag lekker geluncht in het zonnetje op het terras. Vriendelijke en snelle service. Het broodje gorgonzola met gegrilde groenten is een echte aanrader!

Superb panini’s. The bread was so fresh and the filling of salami, cheese, eggplant and capsicum was fantastic. The pesto pasta is also super. The cafe was very busy when we were there, but the lady serving was fast and efficient. Some tables also have a view to the quaint garden in the laneway next door. The cannoli looked fantastic, but alas we didn’t try.

Extrem leckeres, frisch zubereitetes Essen zu einem verblüffenden Preis. Alles durch die Bank empfehlenswert. Nicht versäumen sollte man aber gegen Ende auf jeden Fall noch den obligatorischen Espresso mit einem süßen Dessert zu bestellen. Der Service durch Mama und Tochter ist super herzlich.

Wat een verademing deze plek! Lekker eten, gezellig en super vriendelijk. Het was enorm druk maar iedereen is welkom. De broodjes waren heerlijk, de cannoli een perfecte afsluiter. Top!

Non da evitare ma personalmente non ci tornerò. Panini economici e gastronomia, buona scelta ma non mi hanno convinto gli ingredienti (il prosciutto "San Daniele" sembrava più simile alla pancetta che al prodotto DOP col cui nome viene chiamato) e la loro temperatura (tutto freddissimo, quasi ghiacciato). Nota negativa per la carta, in generale: niente tovaglioli a tavola (necessari visto che il panino gocciolava olio) e, in entrambi i bagni, niente carta per asciugarsi le mani e niente carta igienica. Incredibile mancanza di attenzione (e, di conseguenza, igiene). Tra l'altro questo accadeva alle 12, non a fine giornata. Si può fare di meglio, per veder tornare i clienti, intendo. Anche un po' di attenzione al menù sarebbe gradita: vuoi gestire un locale italiano? Comincia dalla traduzione corretta dei nomi di ingredienti e piatti.
