Really classy, great environment and nice choices to choose from from the menu. Servers were really polity and elegant as well.

My daughter loved the carbonara, but I myself was not satisfied with the aglio scampi: too dry, not distinctive enough, bland.

Authentic Italian dining experience! We stumbled upon Da Verdi purely by accident, and right from the moment we walked in, we were greeted by an all-Italian staff—which immediately gave us high hopes for real, authentic Italian food. We were definitely not disappointed! • Starters: The fresh bread was served with fantastic olives (though wearing gloves while handling food would be a nice hygiene improvement). • Mains: Everything we ordered was spot-on: -Seafood Risotto: Rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. -Margherita Pizza: Perfect from the sauce down to the delicious crust— so good that my older daughter finished her entire pizza for the first time! -White Sauce Chicken Pasta: Absolute perfection. My wife enjoyed it so much that my younger daughter ended up swapping her Bolognese pasta with her! -Bolognese Pasta: Unbelievably good, full of authentic flavor. -Dessert & Coffee: The Tiramisu was the highlight of the night—even my wife, who normally isn't a fan of tiramisu anywhere else, loved it! To finish, I ordered my usual latte, and it was executed perfectly. A fantastic spot if you're looking for true Italian flavors that the entire family will love!

This was, by far, my worst experience in the Netherlands so far. We paid high prices for a not fresh antipasti and very limited quantity. Felt like a scam. I do not recommend it

First night stay in Eindhoven- we chose this restaurant as we wanted pasta and there was a spare table outside. Ordered the pasta that suggested it had garlic in it. Tasted no garlic whatsoever. I have honestly made better myself quickly at lunchtime. Husband's pasta looked and tasted better than mine but again was only acceptable rather than wow. No extras offered so no bread, olives etc (even at a cost). Staff smoke a few feet away from you while you are eating.

The three of us had a delicious meal here. The staff is super friendly and very pleasant! If you want Italian food in a cozy atmosphere with good service, this is the place to be 👌🏻

We had a delicious meal. Unfortunately, my tenderloin was very rare (as requested) but still cold on the inside. I had it sent back to the kitchen. Unfortunately, it wasn't warm yet. Third time's the charm. It came back nice and warm, yet still rare. So, nicely resolved.

At the beginning of Dommelstraat, with a warm welcome from a staff member. Eating outside is pleasant in nice weather, but be mindful of ambient noise from a busy city and the location in an entertainment area with Pathé around the corner. Inside, it looks neat. The toilets are clean but a bit tucked away past the kitchen.

We had been married for 8 years and I had asked if they could decorate it romantically. It was really lovely, in a spot with lots of privacy and very nicely decorated! The food was super delicious! Compliments!

We ate at Da Verdi last night. Almost all the tables inside were empty. The tables were neatly set with white tablecloths. However, we were seated at an uncovered table in an uninviting spot, namely by the large window where you look out at bicycles. It feels just like eating in a bicycle storage area. We were also not offered any bread or olives (the people who came in later were). In short, an uninviting atmosphere and little attention. We did not feel welcome at all.

As Italians who are a bit skeptical about Italian restaurants abroad, I have to say we had a great time and the food was very good! The service was very good even though the restaurant was busy; the waiter Damiano made us feel at home!

I've eaten in various places around Europe and the world, and unfortunately, Italian restaurants abroad often disappoint. But not at DA VERDI!!! I ate the best osso buco I've ever had! If you're passing through Eindhoven and want to eat well, DA VERDI is the place for you!

Good food, good wines, and friendly service. Da Verdi never disappoints; a visit is always top-notch. The fact that the menu has remained fairly fixed for years and that there is little variety shouldn't spoil the fun. All the dishes we know are simply good. It would be a plus if they were to offer something seasonal someday. We return here regularly because it is simply good.

Update later, at the end. Went again yesterday. Had the same fantastic waiter as before. Tammy i think his name is. Italian guy..very friendly, funny, helpful. Made our visit much better. Again we had escargots. But we also had burrata on mixed salad and lasagna. Everything very good. The escargots were not as salty as last time, which was good. Lasagna nice and juicy, not too wet or dry, just great. Burrata always good.. Before: What an amazing place. The service from we entered to we left, outstanding. And the food, yummy. We had lumache (snails), caprese and ossi buco. The osso buco was really tender. Really tasteful. Cozy plaze with wintergarden. Update: The pizza was a bit dissapointing. Firstly, it was already sliced. And it had toppings but not too much taste, but the kind of toppings should give more flavor. And it should have been in the oven longer. The spaghetti with chili and garlic, didnt taste too much of chili or garlic. The chili was only big slices, and the garlic should have been more. We were not offered parmesan or grana padano. So next time we will order the safe dishes.

Pasta were cooked on point. Tiramisu is generous and very well balanced. 10/10

Very expensive for what you get...78 euros for 2 people for a pizza that was too salty...tiramisu was tasty though. It took a very long time for the waiter to come, asked twice, and then the wrong cola...we will look for something else next time.

It was around 8:50 PM and they started constantly asking us for the bill, would you like it? Yes, it was almost time for them to close, but it's not okay for them to look at us askance and bother us while we're eating.

I ordered a salami pizza: nothing about it was good. The dough was tasteless and undercooked, the salami was poor quality, and the pizza was very oily overall. The service wasn't great. We arrived at 9:45 PM, and we were told the kitchen was closing and that we needed to order quickly (which I understand), but the first server came to set the table, huffing and puffing. On the other hand, the second server's cheerful demeanor (a bit eccentric in a good way) was very pleasant.

That waiter was very unfriendly. He laughed at me because I ordered a 0.0% beer. Something from Peroni or something like that. He said: Peroni is beer, it doesn't exist in 0.0%: there is alcohol in birra. Then I ordered a soft drink and he laughed at me arrogantly. That is how he treats me at every subsequent step: ordering, serving, clearing the table, and also settling the bill. If he doesn't understand the basis of hospitality, this restaurant is not worth visiting. That photo, by the way, is proof that Peroni makes 0.0%, just like any beer producer. It's simply distilling the alcohol out of it. Maleducato. Peroni 0.0% even sponsors Ferrari F1 2026. A bit of retraining for the Pastapipo.

Always good for an evening in Eindhoven

I've been going to this restaurant for a while now, and the food is always delicious. My favorite dessert is tiramisu, and I think it's absolutely fantastic here. The staff is very friendly, although one of them could perhaps smile a little more at the guests. 😉 Highly recommended. 👌🏼

One minor point, this for the person ultimately responsible/owner: in an age of focus on sustainability, it's a no-go to refuse tap water (which is much healthier than bottled water in the Netherlands) and only offer environmentally unfriendly bottled water. This could really be improved. Change it ASAP!

I've been coming here since I was a little girl. They are and will always be my favorite Italian restaurant. Yesterday we had another delicious meal. The Tiramisu is still a must-try 🥰

One of my Italian colleagues recommended this restaurant to me. So, my expectations were high. I have visited this place many times, and they always met my high expectations. I would recommend this restaurant for anything, from a pizza to more delicate dishes. Added benefit, this place is just next to the Pathe movie theatre. Perfect place to dine out after a movie.

From the moment you walk in, the warm, perfectly lit ambiance, draws an exhale of relaxation. You’re immediately greeted by a professional wait staff, eager to seat you at a nicely spaced table with crisp white linens. When you’re ready, they take your order and welcome any questions to be sure they prepare a dinner to your liking. Out entree’ was a delicious freshly made pasta dish, accompanied by a glass of their well paired wine. Remarkably similar to our favorite- Giostra in Italy. Perfect.

Very long waiting time (over an hour) if you are looking for Italian pizza, unfortunately you won't find it here.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place. The food was nothing special and tasted like I'd just opened a can from the supermarket. It was also overpriced. We were served by four different people. We had spaghetti and asked for Parmesan cheese. To me, it's normal to be served Parmesan. We waited in vain, and the waiter ignored us. When we finished eating, we asked for the bill. Again, we waited in vain. Another waiter then asked if we wanted anything else, and we told him we'd already been waiting for the bill for 10 minutes. After waiting another 5 minutes, we got up and paid directly at the bar. The restaurant wasn't even full, so the waiters were incredibly busy. Poor service and, unfortunately, not good food. What a shame.

The best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at. For over a year, we've occasionally driven 100 km to this restaurant for this delicious food. From the moment you walk in, you feel special. Literally everything is Italian. The atmosphere and service are wonderful. Tortellini ala panna is heaven on my tongue (I always have to order portions to go 😅). Pizza Roma is also a real treat for the palate.

Penne Aribiata was incredibly spicy. It seemed like it had been prepared the day before. I'd never experienced such a spicy dish before. The food was served within 10 minutes. We had just finished our appetizer.

Visited during a business trip. Initially cordial service turned sour at billing—charged for complimentary items and attempted to add a credit card fee, which was only removed after objection. The owner's behavior was confrontational and unprofessional. Not recommended.

We arrived a little earlier than our reservation time. No problem, and because we had to wait, we were immediately offered a drink on the house. It was busy, very busy, but the staff didn't seem stressed. Starter: eggplant stuffed with minced meat, which was more than excellent! The house wine, white Pinot Grigio, was the same. The menu is extensive, but doesn't make you overwhelm yourself with choice, so just right: not too much choice, but certainly not too little either. Something for everyone. Despite the temptations of the pasta and various meat and fish dishes, we opted for the pizza. I used to go to Italo in Veldhoven regularly, and they had the perfect calzone. I thought... The one at Da Verdi is more than perfect, the best calzone I've ever had! The Sambuca Café, recommended by the hostess, was also a surprise. A delicious sambuca, the coffee flavor taking the edge off just a little. The staff is incredibly welcoming, polite as they should be, but not too stuffy. Kudos, they're all doing a great job! The only downside is the space, which looks a bit bare due to the large side windows. But that's always been the case, and it won't change. If you can accept that, Da Verdi is the place to be if you want a fantastic evening in every way. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back!

As a Google Maps user, I can unequivocally say that the restaurant's food is truly delicious. Of course, tastes may vary, but overall, it's a great choice for gourmets. Prices are generally between 10 and 20 euros, and despite being a luxury restaurant, they're quite reasonable. It can get a bit busy during dinner hours, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. And if you don't want to worry about parking nearby, it's right across from Eindhoven train station, making it a good transportation option. The multilingual staff is a plus, and the owners are meticulous about this. Finally, thank you for letting us film a little video in the kitchen. I'll add a short, amateurish video. During my stay in Eindhoven, I ate there twice, once during the day and once at night. It was delicious and the waiters were nice. Chat gpd recommended it. You can give it a try.

There is just something about being greeted in Italian, just feels special and welcoming. The secret is out - their appetizers and desserts are expensive…. The food is decent, or may be the pasta I had was decent, nothing spectacular. However the bread they offered as a part of the appetizer was amazing. The cappuccino was very good and the biscotti which came along with it was perfect.

We gingen op de bonnefooi. Hadden honger en liepen toevallig langs. We werden hartelijk ontvangen en kregen een fijne plek in het restaurant. Er hangt een echt Italiaanse sfeer en er lijken louter Italianen te werken. Het eten was werkelijk voortreffelijk, wat een smaaksensaties. Je proefde echte kwaliteit! Het is dat we niet uit de buurt komen, anders waren we absoluut nog eens teruggekomen!

Nice Italian restaurant, nice atmosphere where you can sit both inside and outside. Outside it is very pleasant because of the heaters and well heated. The food is really delicious and fresh, you feel like you are in Sicily with every bite. Pasta tricolore with seafood is delicious and highly recommended and the tagliatelle tartufo is prepared with real truffles, not just truffle oil. The pastas are good sized portions. After dinner we received a delicious limoncello on the house. Very satisfied! Will definitely come back to try other tasty dishes!

We were on business and we went for dinner a few times. The food just seemed to get better. When I’m back in Eindhoven, I’ll definitely be heading straight there.

I have now eaten here 3 times and I will definitely come back again! The atmosphere, the hospitality, the passion of the service and the chefs, the love and attention they offer our children. My children, aged 2 and 4, love to sit here at the table waiting for the next course!
