Italian House in Ontginning

My partner had the frog legs as a starter and found them deliciously tender; I had a very flavorful onion soup (which was vegetarian!), a delicious tagliatelle quatro formaggi as the main course, and my partner had the calzone, whose pastry was perfectly crispy. We will definitely be back!

Wanted to order here.... At the end of the day, 3 euros is added on top of the stated prices per dish... So we're not going to do that !!!

Delicious pizzas, but it's a shame they charge extra for the sauces. It's also not very spacious, and if you're unlucky, you might not be able to get a table right away due to reservations.

An Italian restaurant that's been around for decades. The seating is cramped. My red Lambrusco wasn't sparkling anymore, so it had been open a while, which was a real shame. The pizzas are well-filled and perfectly baked. Nothing wrong with that! The desserts are also super affordable. And the sorbet is just as it should be.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant, beautifully decorated inside! We had a truly DELICIOUS meal here; we thought both the pizza and the pasta were excellent. Highly recommended if you're in the area. Thanks, Italian House! :)

The food we ordered was fine, but the rest was way below par. I left the wine untouched, it was so disgusting, and the Sprite was completely dead. The windows are dirty, and the door handle is black with grime. No way, I'll be back.

The food was tasty; we ordered takeout, tortellini. The portions really could be bigger.

Delicious food here, I always go for the salmon tagliatelle, but friends of mine also steal from here and it's great, great. It's a pity that from now on they throw in some onions, the previous recipe was just a bit tastier.

Had a great meal with a group. Bill was over 300 euros. The children had not finished their pizza yet so the waiter asked if we wanted a box to take it with us. Of course children wanted this. When we get home we find out that we still charge 1.50 for the box. We won't be back

There was very little flavor to the pizzas and the grease was dripping off the boxes. The prosciutto slices were cut way too thick, which made it no longer tasty. Also the dough was very tough. My friend thought it was okay, so that's why I gave it 2 stars.

The pizza was very tasty and not so expensive. The waitress was very friendly. Nice place to be!

Coincidentally, we were in the mood for a tasty pasta and this was the first place we found. Very fast service and nice staff. Pasta was tasty, but not spectacular.

Ordered spaghetti bolognese. But because I had not yet met the minimum order amount, I was forced to order a portion of capers for €2. As a comment, I had asked if the capers could be taken separately, because I had ordered them purely to reach the minimum amount. I receive a call saying that it is not possible to get them separately. Very strange, since this was an extra that you can order... so it is not a permanent part of the recipe. So it should be easily possible to put it in a separate container or bag. So I say, just put them over it (I think then I can take them off myself). When I get it, it is mixed in...which is definitely not tasty. Next time go to another Italian. *Response to owner: What??? What are you talking about man? I ordered via home delivery, for "as soon as possible", and I was just at home. Your chef just thought it was too much trouble to put the capers, which I had to order for €2,-, in a separate container/bag, or else just throw them over them instead of through them. That's called service and customer friendliness. Especially if it is not part of the regular recipe. But no, it wasn't possible...and then it got mixed in completely. It's just petty and deliberately hurts a paying customer. And then give this response? Hilarious!

When you walk into this restaurant you don't expect much from it, quite old-fashioned, small. But the quality surprised me, what a delicious meal I had! Recommended!

Fijn en vrij klein restaurant. Ideaal voor mensen die niet zo van drukte houden. Heerlijk gegeten, goed belegde pizza's, vriendelijk personeel. Ik kom hier zeker terug!

Eenvoudig kleinschalig restaurant met ruim voldoende keuze aan Italiaanse gerechten op de kaart. Lekkere pizza’s en veel gezelliger om ter plaatse te eten dan thuis.

Klein, eenvoudig restaurantje, heeft niet een heel erg professionele uitstraling, maar de pizza's zijn erg goed, de mensen zijn vriendelijk en de inrichting is wel gezellig.

Lekkerst restaurant in de omgeving met een top sfeer binnen. Super knusjes en gezellig! Eten is uitstekend, vooral de spaghetti bolognese naar mijn mening. Top services! Helaas is de bestelling in de verkeerde handen gevallen. Het team heeft goed zijn best gedaan, en zijn achtergekomen dat iemand anders het eten had aangenomen. Na dit incident is alles netjes opgelost en hebben ze goed gehandeld. Ik blijf terug komen!

We hadden Calzone besteld bezorger was op tijd en heel vriendelijk. De Calzone was heerlijk super goed gevuld.

Heuuuuurrlijk eten voor een goede prijs met topservice! Achteraf ook nog een drankje van de zaak gekregen!

Zeer karig belegde pizza's (denk aan max 4 dunne salamischijfjes op je salami pizza) en eisen als GEEN KAPPERTJES (wegens allergie) worden gewoon genegeerd.

Na een aantal jaren weer eens besloten om een pizza en pasta te halen. De pizza was mager belegd maar smaakte verder redelijk. Ikzelf had spaghetti carbonara en ik moet helaas vaststellen dat ik nog nooit zo'n slechte carbonara heb gegeten. Aan deze carbonara is geen ei te pas gekomen en de spaghetti verzoop in de room, hoezo dan. De spekjes waren amper gebakken en van zout en peper heeft deze chef nog nooit gehoord. Ik moet helaas zeggen dat Italian Home geen aanbeveling verdient. Feedback via deze weg aangezien we niet in het restaurant gegeten hebben. Ik stel voor om het recept er eens bij te zoeken aangezien room niets te zoeken heeft in een carbonara.

Zeer vriendelijk. Eten is goed. Alleen room in de pasta carbonara vind ik beetje jammer. Verder erg tevreden. Kom er regelmatig.
