The worst restaurant in the town. Poor hygiene, poor quality of food and stale food. Boys working there are also not clean, they are with dirty hands and untidy clothes. If Management sees this review please improve the hygiene and quality of good.

Just received my food from Dawaat, first time delivery. Chole masala and shahi paneer. Extremely delicious and tastes fresh. Got one softdrink and indian crackers for free. The crackers taste like they are freshly made for my order! Really enjoying my meal and I actually don’t think they are expensive for the quality and quantity you get. Will definitely order again soon.

My wife and I visited on Thurdsay afternoon, 26 Dec. We had samosas and dal makhani containing red kidney beans. Incredibly fresh food with authentic tastes and full of flavour. The nan bread was beautifully soft. Compliments to the chef. Cheers.

My visit today Dawaat Restaurant left me extremely shocked. I came after dinner to have some dessert with a friend visiting me. The dessert was very average. We ordered gulab jamun and rasmalai for 11 euros . Firstly not worth the price. But okay ! The staff was speaking to us English and going bro , you can’t be here . Eat and leave in 5 minutes or order something else. We were there may be 20 minutes and still eating. Gulab jamun was served cold and we had to ask him to heat it. I have never in my life experienced such rudeness. You go to restaurant not to be kicked out. When speaking in Hindi and Punjabi he was pretending that he does not understand us. 2 minutes later owner came and he was speaking Hindi and Punjabi fluently. the staff's rude attitude was the real letdown. Instead of addressing our concerns politely, they demanded we order more or leave within five minutes. This lack of professionalism ruined our dining experience entirely. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to Dawaat Restaurant. I hope they improve their customer service for future patrons.

Really delicious Indian food, everything was well packed and warm, friendly delivery person. It was very nice that the mild dishes were really mild, so it was wonderfully tasty for us to eat. At many other Indian restaurants the mild dishes are far too spicy for us. We will order from here more often, even when we have guests! Only point for improvement: the website showed some glitches (suddenly the entire order disappeared and the review also disappeared at first), maybe we should have it looked at.

Weird! There main page says delivery free in Amstelveen from € 15 and when you try to order it says €37.5 , and when I call they said €29.. So Misleading.. I clearly put my zip code and conveyed the same on call , still €29 vs €37.5 . Cmon guys , get your information straight.

Nice portion of Fish Tikka Masala. Good taste. Butterfly Prawn Pakora tasted good, but the shrimp could have been a little crispier. The temperature was good upon delivery and on time

I ordered spec mixed grill today and they sent me expired chicken. It was stinking. I tried to taste thinking that may be only the smell is bad, but it was really expired chicken. I had to throw them all and my kids were so disappointed. I feel cheated, such a waste of money.

All the ordered items tasted great and the portions were generous. The only minus were the sauces delivered with the chicken: Very watery and really tasteless. Will order again in future. We tried some dishes here, we just loved the taste, especially the non-veg platter is very delicious at a low price. We have visited here 3times and I give 5/5 rating for food taste. We ordered malai kofta, mix veg, and rogan josh with nan and paratha - the vegetables used in mix veg seems to be stale and we virtually left the entire dish - lamb pieces in rogan josh was very chewy - the curry used in malai kofta was also really bad Overall very bad experience

Such a bad experience. Very sorry to order here. We ordered a take away of paneer butter masala, paalak paneer, kulcha, butter naan etc. The paalak paneer and butter naan were smelly (not fresh). Garlic kulcha was saggy and it had all sorts of things, guess garlic was there among them, I think. Paneer is atleast 4-6 days old (I guess). We tried but not possible to eat and had to throw away everything.

Not sure if it's the resteraunt or my sheer bad luck. Wanting to try this resteraunt ordered Gobi manchurian, got 4 pieces for 6.5 euros. We got decent taste but quantity needs a lot to be demanded

The portion of naan is generous and fluffy, the best among all the other Indian restaurants in the area. The Butter chicken has the perfect thickness of gravy and ratio of chicken to curry. The lamb kebab and mint sauce is absolutely tender and delicious.

We took out their meals. Ordering and serving was so smooth. My daughter loves their chicken tikka masala. My son loves cheese naan. We had a great dinner with their meal.

My friends and I ordered here for the first time! And we decided that this is going to be the last time we're doing this mistake! They took more than an hour to deliver the food.. having the restaurant not so far from our neighborhood! But the most disappointing factor was, the spices which they used in their food! Even the instant spices which are available in the local India stores would taste better instead of what they offer! I strongly recommend not to choose Daawat restaurant as your option, if you're looking for tasty food!

Order was delayed by an hour. Ordered chicken wings and tandoori chicken. Both the dishes were very bad, does not look hygienic as well. Not recommended at all.

Nice Indian Food, delivered quickly !!!

I've never enjoyed Indian food less. Dishes are bland and marked as vegan even though they are clearly not vegan (for example: samosas with EGG in the dough, "vegan" three course menu with palak paneer = spinach with CHEESE and raita = YOGHURT sauce). Unfortunately not the first time a restaurant slaps 'vegan' on its - at best -vegetarian dishes.
