Kasturi Indian Curry & Grill in Bankras, Kostverloren

I had the best Daal Makahni and panner tikka masala, the hotel owner is really great, must visit place.

Booked this restaurant on Diwali evening for dinner for two, and enjoyed some excellent vegetarian food. It was so good that we went back again the same week. The staff was courteous despite being insanely busy, food delicious and the atmosphere very lively overall. They even allowed me to bring my dog. 10/10 will go back.

Extremely long waiting time. Food tastes average and cater to dutch palate. The only highlight was the location and ambience Needs a lot of improvement

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful food and an even better owner! We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavour, but what truly made our visit special was the owner’s warm hospitality and genuine care for the customers. The owner was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was lovely, and every dish was prepared with care. It’s clear that the owner takes great pride in the restaurant and truly wants guests to have a memorable experience. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be coming back. ❤️

Friendly chef who customize food as per your need. Normally I go there for lunch. Reasonable price.

An absolute gem in Amsterdam! The food at Kasturi Restaurant was simply outstanding—without a doubt one of the tastiest Indian meals I've had in the 15 years I've been living in Europe. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, bringing authentic Indian taste to every bite. The service was equally exceptional—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. A true 5-star experience for both food and hospitality. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Amsterdam and looking for authentic, delicious Indian cuisine. We will definitely be back!

Had another delicious meal, finished everything. But if you can't finish it all, you get plastic containers to put it in yourself and take home. All the dishes we have chosen so far have been a success.

Dis is the worst food i ever had disgusting

What a wonderful experience at this restaurant in Amstelveen. Everything served was incredibly flavorful and perfectly prepared. The presentation of the dishes was also a real plus; the chicken with the small pieces of aluminum foil around the bones looked particularly striking. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant, and the food is of consistently high quality. We will certainly be back here soon for a delicious meal.

We had a delicious meal and there was a lot of choice for vegetarians. For dessert I had Patiala shahi, a combination of Kulfi (Indian ice cream) and Kheer (rice pudding), truly delicious.

Nice restaurant, promoting service and quite elaborate menu. The rw jackfruit curry was really amazing. Different menu compared to other typical Indian restaurants

Highly recommended, delicious food and a very extensive selection of meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes, from spicy to not spicy at all.

By far the best Indian food in NL. We really love the food, the staff and owners are very friendly and topnotch in hospitality. It is our no-brainer one stop restaurant whenever we crave for Indian food. Starting from starters, main course to deserts we love it all.

Absolutely loved the vegetarian food at Kasturi Indian Restaurant. Fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and great presentation. The paneer dishes were outstanding, and the service was warm and welcoming. A must‑visit for veg lovers.

I recently visited Kasturi Indian Restaurant and was really impressed with their vegetarian dishes. The paneer butter masala was rich and flavorful, the dal tadka tasted authentic and comforting, and the vegetable biryani was perfectly spiced and aromatic. The naan was fresh, soft, and paired wonderfully with the curries. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The portions were generous, prices were reasonable, and the overall dining experience was excellent. If you enjoy vegetarian Indian food, Kasturi Indian Restaurant is definitely worth visiting.

Few staff needs to learn to treat their customers.

We went there before 5 pm and waited for chicken roll when We ordered chicken roll but found with poorly prepared tortilla wrap.the free papad was better than so called paid chicken roll.please stop selling the tortilla wrap in the name of chicken roll or ask your staff to learn how to make chicken roll. There is no option to give a -ve point or else should have gave a negative rating for the wrap you have prepared also please educate your staffs.

Very welcoming. Great service and care for customer 👏 They go extra mile to make our celebration truly special.

Great Indian food in Amstelveen. Went for dinner with friends and had excellent time here. Palak Pakoda and Dal Makhani were superb.

Delicious food with perfect portions and friendly service!

The food was super delicious. The service was very friendly and there was a nice atmosphere with beautiful music.

A fantastic restaurant that will delight both vegetarians and meat-eaters. The dishes are not only delicious but also very generous 😋😋😋

Sumptuous food, polite staff, great service

Super delicious food. Best Indian restaurant in the Netherlands. Price is justified for the quantity. Staff is polite and always smiling. Ambiance is cozy too. Highly recommend this restaurant to not just Indians but also anybody who wants to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine.

We had a great dinner here .. lovely place and food especially the service here was very good Mr Mohit who attended us was a complete gentlemen and treated us in the best way possible

Amazing food. Please try this atleats once

One of my favourite Indian restaurants. We go there often and have never been disappointed. Good drinks, good food specially mutton roganjosh that is our favourite.

One of the best Indian restaurants.

Excellent food and hospitality 😊

Very good and tasty indian food. Great service and reasonable price . We will come again

We had a wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant! The mutton curry was absolutely delicious — full of rich flavors and perfectly cooked. The starters were equally tasty and well-prepared. What stood out the most was how fresh all the food tasted. You could really feel the quality in every dish. The staff were extremely polite, warm, and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic and flavorful Indian food! 🌟

I’ve been to kasturi twice now with two different groups of friends, and both experiences were exceptional. The food is superb—authentic flavors, perfect spice levels, and every dish tastes freshly prepared with real care. It’s honestly some of the best Indian food I’ve had in the area. A big shout‑out to Bharat and Mohit, the owners. They are incredibly warm, friendly, and kind, and they make you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you walk in. The staff is also very attentive and polite, adding to the overall great experience. On my second visit, we were celebrating the birthday of my friend’s young son, and the restaurant made it even more special—they have a special dish they present during the cake‑cutting, which added a unique and memorable touch. The kids loved it, and so did we! If you’re looking for authentic Indian flavors, amazing hospitality, and a comfortable atmosphere, this place is a must‑visit. I’ll definitely be returning again! 👏🍽️🇮🇳

Friendly staff, great ambience, amazing finger licking food. Best mutton! Home like atmosphere!

One of the best Indian restaurant in Netherlands. Mix grill and butter chicken on the top. Friendly staff and excellent service

This restaurant serves one of the best Indian food. Hospitality and service were top!

Had a great meal! Very tasty Indian food! Highly recommended.

Great food, authentic Indian taste. One of the best Indian restaurants. Highly recommend !!

We had a delicious Indian meal, and we'll definitely be back. We received a very warm welcome. Lots of choices on the menu!

BEST Indian restaurant in the Netherlands

The food is delicious, truly outstanding. Unfortunately, something went wrong with the order, and we reported it so Kasturi could address it for next time. However, the owner personally arrived the next day and generously compensated us for the mistake. Truly excellent after-sales service!

Excellent food, friendly staff, and a cozy ambience. Every dish tasted authentic and well prepared. One of the best Indian restaurants around.

Food is very authentic. Great taste

Quality of food i feel like its gone through a downgrade and the chicken was undercooked, was the chef changed?

This is one of the best Indian restaurants you can find. They tailor their gravies to suit every palate—Dutch or Indian—making every dish balanced and flavourful. A definite must-visit for great Indian food

Vaidehi was absolutely fantastic in terms service customer service she is super funny and brought a very good vibe to my whole family. Food was absolutely fantastic coming from the UK I would have to recommend this place to anyone who visits

Honestly amazing! Everything was ready when I arrived and the food was just perfect. This was the best Indian I’ve had in Amstelveen.

The first starter came after 45 mins of placing the order and the main course after 15 to 20 more mins. Staff was not acknowledging the delays at all. Not recommended if you value time.

Our favorite Indian restaurant in Amstelveen! Delicious food! Amazing service. We love it here.

Indian restaurant conveniently located in Amstelveen. Food was great. We dined there once and did take away twice. Fairly priced, good taste. Nice place to trigger your taste buds for Indian cuisine while in Amsterdam.

I really enjoyed eating here. The food was tasty and fresh, and the portions were just right. The staff were kind and made us feel welcome right away. The place has a nice, cozy atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy your meal. I’ll definitely come back again.

Not many places like this one a solid gem 💎 Thank you for that experience.

Amazing food. Best Indian food that I have eaten outside India. Tandoori Achari Soya Chaap is a must try.

We’ve visited several times over the past year, and the food has been consistently excellent each time. We usually stick to our favorite menu items, and they never disappoint. When we bring guests, we like to try a few new dishes, which are always enjoyable and tasty. The food quality and service are both top-notch, and I highly recommend this place. Personal favorites include the chilly chicken, Chicken Karara, Mutton Karara, Garlic Naan, Rasamalai etc.

The food was varied. The Mixed Non-Veg Platter as a starter was very disappointing: it lacked flavor and everything tasted too similar. The papadums, on the other hand, were very good, and the tandoori chicken was also excellent – highly recommended. The separate naan I ordered with it was unfortunately a disappointment: far too greasy, with extra oil on top. I definitely want to come back here again, but it's important to know what to order. Choosing something blindly can be disappointing.

Love the food. Great deal of choice for veg and non veg options. Good amount of food for a fair price. Can't wait to go back again.

Great Indian restaurant. The food is top-notch, very tasty and authentic. Good service. Beautiful and satisfying dishes

The food was delicious, full of flavour and good sized portions! The staff were lovely and helpful, definitely worth a visit for some authentic Indian :) papadams were elite

Food was good. Ordered the chicken 65, mutton bhana and butter chicken. Service also good. Good place for dinner.

I didn’t like any of the food items we ordered. The only good thing was the desert.

We've used Kasturi's catering service several times now, and it's always surprisingly good. Highly recommended, especially for catering, because they bring a great atmosphere with their delicious food. :) Ursila

Unwelcoming Experience I stopped by Kasturi Indian Restaurant urgently needing to use the toilet. I kindly asked the staff if they had one, and I even offered to buy a coffee just to use it. At first, the person at the counter said "okay," but then changed his mind and told me it was “only for other people.” It was disappointing and felt very unfriendly, especially since I was being polite and willing to make a purchase. A bit of kindness and understanding would have gone a long way. This experience made me feel very unwelcome, and unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.

Below standard , the worst among all the Indian restaurants in Amstelveen.

Excellent food. Fresh, colourful, tasty. Great service.

It's a strange environment to eat Indian cuisine in the Netherlands etc. But it's not a cuisine for us Turks. It's very good while eating but the spices spoil the day afterwards :()

The location of this restaurant is amazing. The food was tasty. However, the staff’s customer service was questionable. Overall, it’s a good restaurant.

Our regular Indian restaurant, delicious food and generous portions! Lots of vegetarian options and friendly staff.

The food is authentic, all the dishes are cooked to perfection. My personal favorite are Aloo tikkie chat, paneer jhalfarazi, garlic naan and paneer tikka tandoori. It is a cozy place so make sure you make reservations to avoid disappointment.

Booking in advance isn't essential. When we were there on a Sunday evening, it was quite quiet. We ordered the aloo chaat and onion bhaji as appetizers. Both dishes were well-balanced in flavor and texture. For our main course, we shared the mattar paneer and naan. I found the curry quite oily; the oil soaked into the curry. The flavors were good, though. The naan was excellent: light yet crispy.

You need to wait at least 2 hrs after your order

The place with the best north Indian food. The best mutton bhuna, chilly chicken, jackfruit curry...

Just wow. This is food I'd drive an additional mile for.

Delicious food!! Good music, ambience and hospitality. Just everything that you’ll thoroughly enjoy!

Authentic Indian food with taste that reminds you of restaurants back home. Well located with plenty of parking.

It was soooo good!! I took the Jackfruit with the whole wheat spicy Naan, both their speciality’s and would definitely recommend! Big portions too, can eat it tomorrow again and won’t complain. And they are very friendly too!

Very good service. UberEats didn't pick up our food, so an employee delivered us our dinner. Thank you very much for your service 🙏

What delicious food, each dish has its own unique taste.

Great food and good quantities! The servers were both pleasant and gave good advice. We will come back with pleasure!

An amazing spot for Indian food! We've tried most Indian restaurants across Amsterdam, Amstelveen, and Utrecht, but this one truly stands out for its authentic flavors. Living in Utrecht but this has become our forever go-to for Indian cuisine. Simply the best!

Love their North Indian cuisine and service. Recently, they introduced Kathal masala (Jackfruit). Do try - one of the few places in Amsterdam where you can experience this sabzi.

Really delicious food. A very tasty grilled tandoori chicken, the channa was also very tasty. Also nice & clear vegetarian options.

I eat here almost every week, it's my goto place for Indian food. I have tried Indian cuisine in and around Amsterdam/Amstelveen but this place has the best quality and feels fresh. They adjust spice and oil level if requested. :D

Top Indian food for a good price. Extensive menu and excellent service, highly recommended!

We travelled from Norway to throw a surprise birthday party for our daughter. Excellent food, service. They allowed us to bring a cake. They even gave a gulabjamun and whipped cream dessert, with sparklers and birthday song. Made it very special. Drinks and food were great. Highly recommended if in Amsterdam.

Food was decent enough. Great hospitality though

I was in Amsterdam for a week and daily I was here because of the taste and quality......100 percent recommended best Indian food in Amsterdam

Mouthwatering & authentic Indian foods we found in amsterdam. We'll definitely want to try again.😋

Delicious food from the street food menu. Ordered 8 dishes with 4 people. That was more than enough. Everything was fresh and deliciously prepared. Service very friendly as well as the price. With 2 drinks, less than 30 euros. Definitely recommended.

New fav indian. Fast service and delicious. Chicken 65, butter chicken and chili cheese naam were amazing

Did not give rice complimentary with Paneer Jalfrezi. Not worth the price

We had a delicious meal in the restaurant. (6 persons) Just really tasty and fresh, price/ Quality is excellent and it's also nice that you can park for free. We will definitely come back!

The food was good . The breads were excellent . Vada pav dalmakank and paneer preparations were also excellent

Excellent Indian food ! I took my friend from abroad and they loved the food ! Highly recommend place of you want a quality & authentic Indian food !

Friendly staff, Delicious food and nice atmosphere. Highly recommend 👌

Amazing food and great service. We asked for spicy sauce on the side and they made the sauce fresh for us, recommended for a visit, especially dine in.

If you are looking for Authentic Indian with the hospitality, Kasturi is the restaurant. We visited on multiple occasions and there was always a reason to select Kasturi next time!! Thanks!!

A must try place for Indian cuisine in Amstelveen area!

Food was really good! I was very impressed by the taste for their naan 🫓 it was very chewy and tasty! Its on my list now for indian food in A’dam.

Great Atmosphere. Food was delicious. We have tried many dishes between us and loved all the dishes. The service was great and helpful 👍 👌
