Absolutely awesome burgers and extremely friendly people! Highly recommended

It was very tasty, obviously, as they made their own meat. They should add a little more sauce and flavor. I ordered a truffle hamburger, and my friend ordered one with egg. I think the egg goes very well with it.

Just arrived in Amsterdam, 23.30 and looking for a place to eat. I discovered Dandy Burger. Amazing place, amazing people, local vibes. One of the best fries I’ve ever had (please order the curly ones) and trust me, I’ve tried quite a lot. And the burgers.. superb, real patties, no smash. I will visit this people everytime I come to Amsterdam and recommend it to everyone. Thank you guys, you nailed it.

Really, really, really good burgers! Customer service is a bit unfamiliar territory here. They don't seem used to guests eating on the spot. For example, we didn't get a glass with our beer. We had to grab napkins from the counter ourselves. And we were given one fork between the three of us to eat the one salad we wanted to share. But actually, that unintentional clumsiness has its charm. I did enjoy it. Maybe just keep it up, because here it's all about really good burgers, good fries, good onion rings, good sauce, and homemade coleslaw. Delicious!

Hands down the best burger I've had in Amsterdam. You can immediately taste the superior quality meat. Go for a medium rare cook, you wont be disappointed. Pro tip - The dandy sauce with onion rings is a must have.

I trekked 38 minutes from my accomodation to grab a late night burger after seeing the reviews. This not only met my expectations but well exceeded them. I’ve been fortunate enough to eat all over the world and I have never been to an establishment where the staff are so welcoming and genuine. The owner and staff are absolute legends and the food is just as good. I had the cheeseburger and some wings. The beef was absolute quality and cooked to perfection and the house made sauce for the wings made for a perfect side. You should definitely give this place a go and I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I like good food and this small joint is going somewhere. The smell from the wings as they hit the table triggered something deep inside, like an internal hunger switch flipping on. The buffalo sauce was so good I almost flew away. Butter, spice and tang in perfect balance. And the Dandy sauce? Addictive and made to be mopped up. Even after a full lineup: fried wings, a grilled cheese burger, crispy fries, everything felt surprisingly light, and I didn't waddle out. I used the carrots and celery (props for the clean crisp cuts) to wipe up every last drop of that sauce. Nothing wasted. These guys can make sauces. Looking forward to coming back.

Not 5 stars. We'd give it a 4.5. The mushrooms with cheese cream were good, but unfortunately a bit too spicy, so the chili overpowered everything. Instead of the mushrooms (€9), they could have been fries; the spiciness would have masked the difference...but they tasted good (4.5 stars), although the portion was a bit small. And the Dandy Dobble Burger for €16 was also good, but not 5.0 stars...the portion was adequate. Conclusion: We were satisfied.

It’s an American-style burger place in Amsterdam, but the quality isn’t very high. The vegetables were among the lowest quality we’ve tried, and the extra-large burger was just okay. There’s no side dish, like chips, unless you order it separately.

A neighborhood burger restaurant with so many 5-star reviews, it had to be tried. The burgers are indeed excellent, with lots of flavor in the ingredients, sauces, and even the meat itself. Given the way the avocado is cut, I think there's some skill in the kitchen. I used to stop eating burgers at restaurants because they all seemed identical and standardized. Here, I rediscovered the pleasure of biting into them. Thank you. The setting is also pleasant if you eat in, and the staff is very friendly (my teenagers thank you for the chicken wings). You get the idea: I recommend it.

There are rare moments in life when you are totally blown away by the taste of a meal but none so unassuming as a burger joint. That was our experience at Dandy burger. We had the extra spicy chicken wings and Dandy cheeseburger. The spice of the wings did not overpower the delicious flavour and we relished every bite. The burger with its toasted bun, caramelized onions, medium cooked beef and moreish Dandy sauce came together beautifully, as each bite felt like one harmonious unit. It felt neither heavy or light - the perfect portion size. The service was just as good as the meal but no surprise there when we learnt he was Aussie. Darra spent time chatting, joking and making sure we felt right at home - as if we were old friends being served right out of his home kitchen. Overall, a 10/10 experience, and one we look forward to reliving when we return to Amsterdam.

Nice little restaurant on a side street. The burgers are PERFECT 👌 Their own recipe for the patty comes from their own butcher - well-done or medium, depending on your preference 👍 and is made with good ingredients and well-seasoned, without the sauce battle like at other places where you can't taste the burger at all 🍔! The team is young and dedicated, both in service and in the kitchen! A definite recommendation for anyone who likes honest, good burgers. The loaded fries are also worth recommending: we couldn't imagine fries with pesto, tomatoes, and mozzarella, BUT the flavors work very well together. Great team & great food - keep up the good work 👏

Ordinary burgers. Ordered double Dandy burger (medium well): meat was too dry and not seasoned. French fries are mediocre. The glasses for drinks were dirty with fingerprints on it. Wondering where those all 5-stars reviews are coming from.

This ain’t your typical burger place. This is next level! Hands down the best burger I’ve had in my entire life. If you fancy chicken, the grilled chicken burger is something you don’t wanna miss. Don’t forget to try out their homemade sauces as well; you won’t be disappointed. Kudos to the entire team for the excellent service and welcoming attitude from the moment you step your foot in. Definitely coming back!

The owner here is an absolute legend. You can tell he really cares about this business and his customers. The burgers are thick and cooked to your preferred done-ness. Lots of different topping options. I like to order wings for takeaway. I ask for the off-menu extreme spice level because I'm a bit of a chili head. Always get a couple of extra wings thrown in for free. Chill spot with good vibes and impeccable service.

This place is legit and I’m surprised it hasn’t blown up. The burgers have been the best ones that we’ve tried in Amsterdam. The meat and ingredients are fresh and tender but what really stands out are the sauces. The dandy sauce hits the spot and the spicy hot wings have been the spiciest tastiest wings that we’ve tried in Europe to date. 10/10 would recommend and come back.

I had probably the best burger I’ve ever eaten in my life at this restaurant, and the fries were perfect too. Burger was juicy, bread was deliciously toasted yet pillowy soft. I got fries and spicy wings as sides and the fries were thick cut perfectly crispy outside and soft and steaming on the inside. The wings were insanely deliciously spicy but also flavorful at the same time. I am in heaven rn I may cry. Eat here do not hesitate.

Best place in Netherlands! Been there yesterday and today as well and I just had to modify my review from amazing to absolutely the best. We had a chance to try Chicken Burger which was the best combo I had of this kind. But after we were done owner brought us some buffalo wings to taste and oh boy that was something. I never order wings anywhere because most of the time they are average at best. Wings in Dandy were not food, they are experience you need to have to understand. I travel quite a lot and try different foods and I think that those wings were best, most complex and awesome thing I ever ate while traveling. The climate of the place and a passion you can instantly sense is the reason why I would consider flying here just for the wings again. Absolutely the best experience I had In Amsterdam. And if you think weed gives you the joy, try those wings :D

These burgers are seriously good!!! The chicken is succulent, tasty and full on yum. My friends recommended the lamb - was hesitant bit I was so pleasantly suprised, it's insanely good. These guys know what they’re doing!

Favorite burger place in the Netherlands. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and it's all so good. Have no idea whether anything could be any better. What also stands out is the consistency - perfect meal and perfect service every single time. Only thing we miss: the basil mayo 😢

This place is freaking amazing. The burgers were delicious, the dandy sauce and the garlic aioli, the fried oyster mushrooms all to die for. Dandy Burgers is absolutely amazing and it has became our go-to spot anytime we crave a burger! From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed by the very friendly staff, and the owner Dara, who has wonderful energy and goes out of his way to match you with the best burger according to your tastes ( and spice tolerance). We were so impressed by their burgers and the amount of passion and dedication that goes into creating a well balanced menu, full of creative specialty options and homemade sauces. Delicious beef burgers, we tried truffle with homemade mushroom marinade, was super fresh. Good sides and souces, very friendy staff.

Dropped in on a Sunday evening for a meal. We were greeted by incredible staff who took great care of us. The food tasted great the menu had many different options for those who love burgers. They even brought us some of their homemade sauces and wings on the house (don’t sleep on them)! Recommend to anyone visiting the area. 5/5
