Dappertutto in Dapperbuurt

If I can give Dappertutto more than 5 stars I would. Every single item we had there, from wine to starters to main to desert, is perfect. The calamari tasted like the sea, rabbit and oxtail so tender and wonderfully flavored, the swordfish is simply unreal (and I’m from an island!). Don’t even think about sleeping on the dessert! You can tell that so much care is put into every aspect of the restaurant and we feel so lucky to have discovered this gem!

I love Dappertutto! The food is excellent, and difficult to decide what to eat because it is all good! The service was very good, friendly and helpful. Lovely setting, and atmosphere was amazing. I love coming here, as it's always a fabulous experience!

The food itself is certainly not bad. Although quite expensive. However, the decor is mega dated. But all this can ultimately be compensated by a great deal of hospitality. Everything ultimately stands or falls with the service. The reception and service are unfortunately anything but warm. What a bad way to receive guests. Extremely unfriendly arrogant attitude. No one will come back like this. This man is clearly not suited for the catering industry. What a grump.

The melanzane parmigiana was perfect and the wine pairings too. The desert selection is marvelous and the service is absolutely perfect. A real trattoria in Oost.

We had a wonderful time and tasty three course meal here. We went for our 1-year partnership anniversary and were immediately met with warm wishes, excellent service, and an unparalleled warmth. All the vegetarian dishes (there are also meat dishes) were made with fresh ingredients, were unique—nothing we had ever tried before—and so delicious and filling! We really appreciated the extra care, making our anniversary extra special. We will be back!

Unfortunately, our dinner here was disappointing. We were a group of 13, including six teenagers. While we started with mixed starters, most dishes lacked taste and presentation. When the teens didn’t find any of the mains appealing, we asked to order more of the simpler starters instead. This request was not well received, and no additional food was offered or served. The atmosphere became uncomfortable, and we felt unwelcome. A bit of flexibility and kindness and friendliness would have gone a long way. Sadly, we left early and wouldn’t recommend the experience.

Ate at Dapper Tutto for the 4th time. It was very tasty again. No nonsense cuisine with special ingredients. Nice service. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience. The gnocchi with (Dutch!) aged cheese and red wine stew sauce were phenomenal. The lasagna with peas and basil balls (!) too. And the wine too. Very small affair. Very friendly service. Informal but really great.

The Italian food is authentic and exquisite, the service is friendly, and the environment is elegant. Although the price is high, it is acceptable, but it is only open at 6pm from Wednesday to Sunday.

Wat een leuk, gezellig en vooral intiem restaurantje. Het lijkt alsof je in Italië binnenstapt. En belangrijker nog, het eten is geweldig; puur, vers, verrassend en erg lekker. De bediening is vriendelijk. Echt een aanrader. Wij komen hier zeker terug.

Delicious food, lovingly made (I might be addicted to the oxtail) and fantastic wines. Served by a warm and welcoming host in a beautiful and cozy space. An absolute must-visit gem close to dappermarkt 🤩

Very personal and authentic small restaurant, with room for only 16 guests. The owner and chef who owns the place are very telling about their life and journey to this restaurant. The menu card is very nice, with many fine dishes. Very good experience, can only be recommended.

Italian dishes cooked with great technique and top-quality ingredients, respecting the tradition with big portions as well (not something you see commonly). Prices definitely in line with the quality and quantity of the food. Highly recommended!

Soms twijfel je om een restaurant aan te bevelen omdat het zo goed is, dat je het voor jezelf wilt houden. Maar mijn ego verliest het van mijn naastenliefde. Als je heel lekker wilt eten en een zeer sympathieke bediening op prijs stelt, naast een onverslaanbare prijs/kwaliteit verhouding, moet je Dappertuto op je Bucketlist hebben staan.

If you are waiting to read the reviews before making a reservation, then you are wasting your time. Just make a reservation for the earliest possible date. The food is exceptionally good with rich flavours and strong home cooking vibes. A definite must try and repeat in Amsterdam.

Neem zelden de moeite om een review te schrijven, maar deze beste man verdient het! Met een huiskamer gevoel heerlijk gegeten in het kleine restaurantje. Personeel straalt vriendelijkheid en positiviteit uit. Pareltje ontdekt…

Magic place, food incredible owners super fun and welcoming.

Ik heb over meerdere jaren al een keer of 4 bij Dappertutto gegeten, en alle keren is het een fijne totaalervaring: de eigenaren zijn ontzettend (en "on-Amsterdams") gastvrij, attent en zorgvuldig, op een manier waardoor je je meteen comfortabel voelt. De ruimte is liefdevol en fijn, en de locatie dichtbij Artis / molen is top, ook als je met een groepje mensen bent die niet allemaal in Amsterdam wonen. Het eten is heel smaakvol, en de menukaart biedt een leuke mix van creatieve specials versus "klassiekers" zoals melanzane.

Everything was correct, and that is a rare find in Amsterdam.

I wanted to try this place for some time and I loved it. It felt like an italian grandma was cooking for us. The food was amazing, service very attentive, portions are great, price is fair. I wish I could rate it a 6!

Bijzonder Italiaans restaurant. Onze reservering was niet goed doorgekomen, maar dat was heel snel en netjes opgelost. Het restaurant is ontzettend klein, kunnen ongeveer 15 gasten zitten. Het eten is fantastisch. Een Italiaanse kaart zonder ontzettend veel pasta en geen pizza. Een bijzondere uit eten ervaring.

Bijzonder leuke plek in Amsterdam met echt heerlijk eten en voortreffelijke gastheren. Aanrader.
