De Beurs Eten & Drinken in Wijk 00 Edam

Great discovery in Edam in the historic city center. The menu was varied and the dishes were generally good. A small downside for the hamburger where the beef did not have the expected taste. I didn't like it. Prices are average for those in the Netherlands but rather high compared to France. The waiters spoke English very well so it was easy to order. The service was very good and the servers friendly and professional.

Although we sat outside, in front of the canal and the bridge and the Edam cheese shops But the place inside is designed like a selling house for antiques and surprises. The service was great Very nice coffee, tea and apple pie.

Visited this restaurant based on the 4.3 rating. What a bad experience this was! Everything came from the fryer and was ready-made, such as the fried prawns. The satay had layers of fat on the stick and tasted bad. This was also ready-made. The interior is a fairground and is packed with attributes. The service is friendly but has no knowledge of the food at all, let alone an intolerance. Things like ginger tea or fresh orange juice are not available. The prices don't lie, especially for what you get. I'll never come here again. *The service was approached about the grease, reported it to the kitchen and did not return the matter. Such a load of fat does not belong on the customer's plate, even with chicken thighs, especially not after grilling.*

Personally, my dish was not great but the appetizer was good and other people enjoyed their food more than I did. I loved the cute atmosphere and would definitely recommend giving it a try if you're ever in Edam.

The owner was arrogant enough to dispute my review instead of taking responsibility for the poor attention to detail of their staff. Perhaps some customer service training is required for both the staff and the owner.

A cozy brasserie with good food. It is full of objects from the past. That makes it fun. Staff is also friendly. Located in the center of Edam.

Delicious food in a very village atmosphere. The sauces with the food are sublime. The mozzarella burger and tenderloin are definitely worth it.

2 Heineken delicious, service friendly but very slow

The location was nice, right on a canal. Directly opposite a nice cheese shop. The service was very friendly and our dog was also given water straight away. Food was delicious. The waiting time was very short.

Gourmet break at De Beurs with a peaceful atmosphere. Warm and smiling welcome. Delicious carpaccio we were spoiled by good and beautiful desserts. I highly recommend.

Nice place to taste a beer and delicious burger. Have a good time as a couple while enjoying a visit to this city. The attention is adequate, friendly and fast. Late in the afternoon, it is busier with local attendees. The setting is very beautiful, with many characteristic decorations. The food is delicious, in adequate portions and at a good price.

The place is possibly the best you can find in Edam. The Christmas decoration is very pretty, and the place itself is cozy. It's a place where you feel like you're really eating among Dutch people. The only downside is that it is an expensive place, and they don't have the drink prices posted.

We arrived in Edam using the bus transport from Central Station Amsterdam. Unfortunately it was raining heavily and we took sanctuary in this cafe . It’s a very interesting place with loads of things to look at. There’s not an inch of space free on the walls and ceilings as it’s covered in almost everything you could imagine from biscuit boxes to meat cutting machines. We enjoyed our lunch and coffee which were all well presented and tasty. Friendly staff as well and a well stocked bar as well if you want a drink.Edam is a very very small place and just down the road was a fantastic record shop full of vinyl records from the year dot. You could spend hours in there .

Price = Prices were really good. Quality = Good quality Service = Service was ok. Would I go back? = Yes Had the nachos with guacamole, sour cream etc, it was really nice, and didn't have to wait too long.

We hebben daar gisteren heerlijk gegeten . Saté was zeer lekker 😋 De steak was geweldig 🤩 Ik geloof de beste, die we ooit gegeten hebben 👌🏻 De bediening was ook zeer aardig 😊 En onze hond mocht ook mee naar binnen 👍🏻 Als we in de buurt zijn, komen we zeker weer.

Il locale è meraviglioso, pieno di oggetti e lampade, cuscini che rendono l’atmosfera calda e cordiale. È’ affacciato ad un canale nel centro storico ma abbiamo preferito stare all’interno per la particolarità dell’ambiente .Abbiamo mangiato un delizioso hamburger vegetariano, uno di carne ed un antipasto di tre formaggi locali . La cosa che però ha fatto gran onore ai gestori e a Tim che ci ha serviti , è stato che hanno tenuto il mio telefono che avevo scordato al tavolo con migliaia di foto e ricordi all’interno . Siamo ritornati il giorno dopo a riprenderlo. Quindi da premiare per gentilezza e onestà, rare al giorno d’oggi. Complimenti !

Der Burger war wirklich top, das Ambiente war ganz schön und der Service hatte nicht wirklich Lust gehabt, aber hat seine Job gemacht.

Leuk restaurant: hele lekkere hamburger van goed vlees gegeten. Aardig personeel en goede kok. Kom hier zeker nog een keer terug (ondanks dat ook hier een hamburger niet goedkoop meer is)

Op een dag dat er geen drukte word verwacht hartelijk ontvangen en een zalig dessert wat even snel verzonnen werd. Top service, ontspannen zitten, heerlijke muziek. Hier komen wij zeer zeker nog terug.
