Very nice place on the seafront. We had three delicious desserts and an excellent burger. Excellent draft beer. Fast and very friendly staff. Average prices.

I had an exceptionally wonderful evening at this restaurant. The welcome was warm, and the staff exuded professionalism. The dishes were exquisitely prepared, and the flavors were in perfect harmony. Every plate I received felt like a small work of art. The service ensured everything ran smoothly, without ever seeming rushed. The atmosphere was relaxed, with just the right music playing in the background. The decor was both elegant and comfortable. The wine list was impressive and well-explained by the staff. The portions were just right, and the dessert was phenomenal. A wonderful experience from start to finish.

Locatie aan de dijk met uitzicht op de haven. Bediening .. mwah… drankjes worden op vies tafeltje neergezet. Personeel zit ‘gezellig’ aan een tafeltje wat te drinken, iets bijbestellen is een uitdaging; als men rondloopt kijkt men niet.

We waited 15 minutes for someone to bring us a menu and then they never came back to take our order. We even went back inside to ask if someone would be coming to take our order but no one ever came. Had to eventually just leave.

Last Saturday we ate at Lotje. The food was very good. The people in the service were very friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant very pleasant.

We had Lotje's best table, a lovely view of Volendam, and the father-in-law of a certain celebrity who greeted everyone with "Hey p*k!!" or "Hey trekl*l!!" The first 12 times it was still somewhat funny, but with Volendammer number 86,761 it started to get annoying. Anyway, this is about the food, not about a gentleman with a somewhat strange greeting. They forgot our food. Apparently, there's a rule that they signal the kitchen when guests have been sitting with a bread basket for about 10 minutes. Sounds logical, and it would also work well if they kept an eye on the tables. After an hour, we asked where our food was. It turned out that the communication with the kitchen wasn't going very well. Not a problem in itself, but the food had (probably) been cooking for half an hour. The meat was as tough as a shoe sole, and the fish dish was far from enjoyable... Not recommended for me.

Had a wonderful dining experience with my wife. We booked ahead and had a ltable that could look out over the water. Service was good and suggestions made when asked. We had the Salmon and Surf and Turf. Both cooked to perfection with great flavours. Wines were well appreciated. Desert we chose the Dame Blanche 2 (i guess an improved version?) And coupe Romanoff. Both delightful. Would highly recommend for a more upmarket and meal th as t is highly appreciated.

Although we did arrive at a busy time slot, it was disappointing to place our order and see multiple tables that arrived after us being served earlier. The wait staff seemed unavailable or uninterested in checking on our order during our wait.

Always had an excellent meal here! Smooth service, a good team that keeps a close eye on everything. And a cozy terrace.

A wonderful location to sit both inside and outside. Outside you have a beautiful view of the beautiful harbor of Volendam. You also have . Lots of choices. Both food and drink. Had a delicious meal there on Saturday August 24, a small tournedos with stroganoff sauce and grilled vegetables, super tasty and very tender. The sauce was delicious and the fries crispy and soft on the inside and served hot. The atmosphere is pleasant, but the staff are a bit too mixed up. Unfortunately, we had a large, noisy group sitting next to us, which did not improve the atmosphere, but that did not spoil the fun. The prices of the dishes are not too bad and the food is presented in a beautiful way, I mean the eye also wants something. It bears repeating.

Like all tourist places, zero attention to the customer: hot beer, pointed out, the temperature is contested, the sales assistant asserts that this is fine with her, so we kept it.... but I repeat, unfortunately this attention is missing in tourist places. Food ok

Everything was perfect, we were visiting the surrounding towns and we stopped to see and eat in Volemdan. This place had many gluten-free options, gluten free, sandwiches, burgers too. And for non-celiacs it is perfect, mussels among the best in the region after trying them in several places. All the dishes were great, and by far, the service, three different waiters, was better. Without a doubt, recommended

Inedible. Charged €15 for this cold gas station vending machine quality sandwich. Took 40 minutes to get it. Refused tap water and offered to buy a small bottle for €3.50. Disgraceful. Outside of a touristy area this place could never survive more than 3 days. Go to De Haven a few doors down and have some real food.

De inrichting is erg mooi...de schoonmaak laat te wensen over....wij waren er om half 11 en we zaten aan een tafel waar de vloer heel erg vies was...even een vegertje af en toe mag best...ook de toiletten waren alle 3 vies...op dit tijdstip met maar een paar mensen op het terras is dit niet acceptabel.....

Leuke plek met prachtig uitzicht. We werden hartelijk verwelkomt en kwamen nix tekort. De paling en vissalade waren verrukkelijk! Malse vis en knapperige sla....hmmm. Serveerster kwam regelmatig informeren of alles naar wens was. Heel fijn. Prettige ervaring.

Had lunch with the four of us last Sunday. Unfortunately, my order for the Bouncer Carpaccio had not arrived, so my three table companions were enjoying their meal and I was not yet. When I informed the man taking orders about this, I already received a bowl of fries for the inconvenience. It then took a long time before I got a plate of food. However, this was anything but an excellent Carpaccio. It was a very mediocre bouncer with 1 bun with hardly any egg on it. It was also white bread while I ordered brown bread…

Vanmiddag hier gegeten, bij binnenkomst denk je, hier moet je zijn, maar na je wat gegeten hebt, denk je, hier ga ik niet meer heen. We bestelden beide de vis proeverij, maar eenmaal op tafel beland, is het een overprijst vis proeverijtje. Ik verwacht voor 19 euro toch wel wat op mijn bordje, en dan vooral wel vers, maar beide was niet van toepassing. 4 ministukjes paling, beetje zalm, en wat tonijnsalade, aangevuld met oude bruine verlepte sla. Of het gesmaakt heeft? Ik heb mijn mening gegeven, maar werd in de (wester)wind geslagen. Ook de bediening mag wel wat atenter zijn, je vraagt om de lunchkaart, en je krijgt hem niet. Daarna vroeg een andere medewerkster of we de kaart al hadden, nee dus. Toen eindelijk kregen we de kaart. Ik had er veel meer van verwacht, we hebben geen achterafje meer genomen, we hebben betaald en gauw weg. Aanrader? Nee zeker niet, zoek wat anders, en sla deze tent over.

On March 2, we had a delicious meal with my parents and sisters at Lotje's. It was a beautiful evening: good service, beautiful atmosphere and delicious food! To be repeated!

Beautiful restaurant and bar on Volendam waterfront but a bit too fancy for family dining. Portions for food and drinks are too small. Gorgeous for special occasions.

Well... that was a nice surprise!! What a good atmosphere and what delicious flavors. We will definitely come back again. Recommended: shrimp croquettes, tenderloin medallions with oyster mushrooms and fries. Summary: 1 starter (which can be enjoyed by two), 2 main courses and 2 special coffees. 4 beers and 2 regular coffees for less €95.00!

Very unfortunate about the new system. We always loved coming here, but unfortunately that's over.

Met groep van 7 gister wezen eten. Ondanks dat restaurant niet voo zat en voldoende bediening leek te zijn ging alles zeer langzaam. Ook was de bediening correct maar niet erg vriendelijk. Een verkeerd genoteerde maaltijd werd meermaals in twijfel getrokken of we toch echt niet gezegd hadden wat hij had opgeschreven. Daarna kwam het juiste gerecht pas nadat de rest alles op had terwijl het koude tonijn was dus bereidingstijd niet reden van vertraging. Drankjes waren alle op voordat ze kwamen vragen of er nog iemand iets wilde drinken. De bestelde koffie, tegelijk met dessert besteld, kwam dan juist weer heel snel maar dessert liet weer erg lang op zich wachten zodat koffie al koud/op was. Bestel niet de warme apfelstrudel “chefs favourite” want hoewel het een heerlijk gerecht is de apfelstrudel zelf kleiner dan het bolletje ijs en de prijs van 11,50 schandalig hoog voor formaat dessert. Zeker in verhouding de andere desserts. Conclusie prima eten. Aan de prijs. Bediening niet hartverwarmend en traag. Reden om hier niet vaker te willen eten

Leuk om een drankje of hapje aan de 'boulevard' van Volendam te doen! Prima hapjes en lekkere biertjes op de tap. Gezellige inrichting, mooi terras en erg vriendelijke en behulpzame medewerkers. En, ook erg belangrijk: een schoon en fris toilet!

Mooie zaak waar we met een groep ouderen lekker hebben gegeten. Vlotte en vriendelijke bediening. Toilet was beneden via lange trap maar ook een invalidentoilet dacht ik. We aten o.a. kibbeling met patatjes. Niet teveel. Voldoende. Heerlijke koffie.

Gezellig restaurant met leuke vlotte bediening. Een must voor een hapje en/of een drankje. Heerlijk over de haven kijken op het knusse terras.

Lunch gehad. Was prima. Goed verzorgd. Jammer van de service. Was iemand aan het inwerken dus het overzicht wie er in de zaal zat was niet aanwezig. Werd wel excuses voor aangeboden dus dat is netjes.

We visited weekend it was too busy this bay area and all restaurants not many table available for drinks but this restaurant gave us a table front of bay we had ours cold and pleasure drinks 🍺🍻 on 🌞 and lovely views... 👍👍🚢
