Cool quiet place in a very busy busy area. Nice drinks. Nice seating. It wasn't busy at the time I was there but glad I went inside for a quick drink break.

Historic restaurant, cozy atmosphere, and excellent food. Highly recommended.

Very nice pub, in my opinion. The best fries are here, with a spectacular sauce (I assume guacamole). All in all, not bad.

Beautiful place where we stopped to have a drink to recover from the cold outside. We ordered some ciders and enjoyed the atmosphere and the music there. They also have options for snacks and dinner, I definitely recommend it since everything looked great.

It is so lovely place to sit and drink. But unfortunately, they are too expensive. An angus burger is 23 euro!

Once in history this was probably a thriving traditional old bar. Ruined nowadays by a cold, bland atmosphere with unfriendly bar staff. Bar is connected to the hotel so you need a special card to use the WC’s. Overpriced too. Avoid!

Made the serve angry about asking for a coke.. the fish and chips were good but the mushy peas were a super small portion.. like tea spoon sized.

The first Heineken was produced in this brewery. In addition to being very beautiful, the food is excellent.

What a facility! You have to give it 5 stars for that alone. Elaborate wooden paneling all around and above it a monumental mural made of Delft tiles with children in procession. Matching heavy solid wood furniture. At the end of the 19th century, the wine barrels of a bodega once stood in a double row in their place and today's bar. We were only there for beer, but you can eat local and down-to-earth food. The Heineken brewery has its origins in the immediate vicinity. The prices were reasonable for the central location right next to the palace and compared to other bars in the center of Amsterdam.

is a very beautiful bar with 150 years of antiquity, a rich and relevant history for the city, which used to function as the first brewery of Heineken. It has a typical Delft style frieze huge on the walls. The staff is super friendly, and it has a very pleasant atmosphere. The location is perfect.

Food was tasty and atmosphere cozy! My favorites were the fish and chips (sooooo good) and bitterballens. Highly recommend for a relaxing atmosphere and tasty bites.

Beautiful Irish style place. Lots of wood and some very peculiar murals. The waiter was very nice and funny. Quiet place to have a few pints. They had a menu with things at pretty good prices. It is local, it belongs to a hotel.

Drunk first Heineken draft beer. Something very special! Very nice restaurant with nice people. :)

Nun ja, ich kann lediglich das Corona-Testcenter bewerten, welches dort während meines Besuches einquartiert war... die eigentliche Bar war zu der Zeit geschlossen / ausser Betrieb. Der Antigen-Schnelltest wurde ohne grosse Probleme zügig durchgeführt, ich musste aber vorgängig auf dem Web einen Termin reservieren.

Amazing genever Bar in the center of the city. Very nice traditional place, they sell only products that come from Amsterdam. Specially beers and genevers. The barman Maarten was reallly friendly and helpful, he recommended us a number of genevers and beers. There's also some appetizers, and finger food platters. Go there !!!

Not a bad bar but a bit expensive and the service was not the friendliest.

This pub/cafe was beautifully decorated with rich wood and gorgeous blue painted tiles on the upper walls. They served us a sampling of jenever and bitterballen in a friendly manner.

Ended up stumbling into this bar at the last minute and SO glad we did - the interior is absolutely amazing. It feels like you're drinking in an old church. Beer selection on draft was great, as expected in Amsterdam, and the nuts to go with the beers kept us thirsty. Definitely a fantastic bar and highly recommend!

Die Bar ist gemütlich und das Bier schmeckt lecker. Mir wurde diese als günstig via Google angezeigt. Ist sie aber nicht. Das Bier 0,33l kostet 6 Euro.

Full of late 19th century features, very pleasant environment. Great selection of beer and weird old beverages. Had my first barley wine here. Staff is helpful and polite.

Me encontraba buscando un bar que se viera auténtico y que me hiciera sentir en Amsterdam y encontré este justo al lado de la magna plaza, la decoración está increíble, la barra, mesas y sillas son de madera maciza noble. En la parte superior de las paredes, hay un mural hecho con azulejos que representan niños jugando, las lámparas de araña son preciosas. El camarero muy amable. En cuanto a precios lo normal en bares del estilo pero nada desorbitado, una jarra grande de cerveza 6€ y una cerveza de tirador especial 5€. Lo mismo que en otros sitos.

The coffee here was to die for. knocked a star off because when we walked in they told us to sit where ever we wanted but then didn't come serve us.
