De Boterlap in Wijk 00 Ermelo

Had dinner last night. Brioche with mackerel, anchovies, and prawns. The food was decent. The prawns didn't have much flavor, nor did the sauce.

Delicious food. Beautiful restaurant. I especially loved the carpaccio. But the steak was also very good. Perfectly prepared.

The food was really delicious, just like the atmosphere and the restaurant, but if a main course costs 37 euros, you can expect the pepper sauce to be included, and not that you have to pay an extra 3 euros for it, just like the mayonnaise that costs 1.20 extra. Normally a bottle of wine is cheaper than 6 glasses, but here you're better off buying by the glass because it's just as expensive... if I had seen that earlier, you wouldn't have gotten the 12 euro tip.

Had a delicious lunch! The tuna sandwich was beyond expectations, and the fries were a treat! Great menu, too. See you again soon!

This was our first time here. The lunch we enjoyed was excellent. We will definitely come back next time.

We popped in for a cup of coffee and a piece of cake... 🎂 Things went a little differently, but Wilco completely understands. If I owned a restaurant, I'd hire him for his hospitality, humor, and ability to solve problems and empathize! Big 👍

The service was excellent; we were seated right away despite it being busy and without a reservation. The food was good. There was an option to order half a schnitzel (€31 for a whole schnitzel). €22 for a tiny piece of schnitzel and just some fries seems a bit out of balance to me, but otherwise it was fine.

We were on our way with an e-chopper and wanted to get a drink. Before we could even park the e-chopper, someone was already waiting for us and practically tried to pull us inside for something to eat or drink. We ended up getting a quick drink, but they seemed almost angry that we didn't want to eat. As soon as we finished our drinks, we immediately left. The atmosphere was very unpleasant, and the person in charge was acting strangely towards both us and the staff. Another thing that was really poorly organized: you had to scan a QR code to get allergen information. No physical card, no explanation—just scan it. Not exactly welcoming or practical. Biggest drawback: Pepsi...

Compliments to the staff, always smiling, nothing was too much trouble, and they were at the table at the right times. We sat on a lovely heated terrace. There are fireplaces and heaters, and comfy cushions on the chairs. A great location with plenty of traffic. There's a games cabinet and plenty of space both inside and out. The food was delicious and you got your money's worth. In short, a solid 10!

What a great place and a fantastic hospitality experience! Genuine attention, excellent food, a great menu (and plenty of vegetables, how wonderful!). It's a shame we don't live nearby, otherwise I'd go more often!

Whenever we're near Ermelo, we stop by De Boterlap for lunch or dinner. We had a wonderful meal on the terrace. Friendly staff. A great menu with delicious carpaccio!

The food was just fine, nothing special. Service was also excellent. Limoncello Spritz in a shot glass, full of ice cubes, three sips and it's gone. Baguette to start, fish of the day, steak and fries. No bottle of wine, no dessert. €100. Thought it was well priced. We won't be doing it again.

We had a wonderful time here for drinks and will definitely be back. The service is very friendly and the food is excellent.

We were hungry and stopped by. We sat outside on the patio, the awning was drawn, and the fireplace was lit, which created a different atmosphere. The food was good.

Today I had schnitzel at De Boterlap in Elburg. The food they served was outrageous. A schnitzel made of two thick layers of breadcrumbs with a wafer-thin schnitzel in between, so dry and tough you could use it as shoe soles. It had a slice of boiled free-range egg on it and a slice of tomato on a lemon slice. I can't believe a chef could mess up such an easy-to-prepare piece of meat. I'll never go back. Compliments to the friendly waiter, who we certainly don't blame. There's a similar restaurant in Harderwijk, so people should pay attention to what you order.

Delicious food. They just forgot the corn on the grill. A comment from the staff has put my daughter off chicken nuggets for a while, but we all had a good laugh about it 😜

We often come here on motorcycle rides. They also cater to smokers. They have a separate terrace, but that's not a problem. They don't treat us like criminal smokers. Lunch was perfect. When it gets a bit colder, there's hot chocolate with a heated area.

We had a delicious meal and drinks, especially Wilco's oysters were great.

The terrace borders a busy road, and the music is so loud that it feels like being in a nightclub. When you ask to turn down the volume, you're asked to sit somewhere else, even after explaining that you have a brain injury. Furthermore, the apple pie at Pkus is ten times better than here. What a bland mess. Apologies to the company, but this was definitely my experience.

I had a delicious sirloin steak here, and my partner had the Jamaican jerk chicken. It included a delicious craft beer. There's a wide selection. If you order the chicken, be sure to ask for wet wipes right away, as it's so juicy and tender. We'll definitely be back, as there's so much to enjoy on the menu. The service was also good and friendly.

Nice place, nice service and you can have a good chat and joke with them, and the food is excellent, it may be a bit expensive but you do get something tasty.

Ordered Dries' salad, the fish was nowhere to be found except for the 2 black tiger shrimps. There was almost no fish in it. Just before that we had been to Harderwijk. The steak was dry and as a salad we got a dollop of kale rocket. Special beers were served in a thick Heineken glass and not in the designated glass.

With our bites and stairs outing we had the starter here. The carpaccio was delicious and my salads with goat cheese were also delicious. Friendly staff. Everything was well taken care of. Recommended.

The grill board we ordered for 3 people was scandalously small for the price we had to pay for it. After we had indicated this, the staff was aware but they did not come up with a solution. For us, never again butterlap, you can sit better at the village room.

We took the grill plank for 3 people at €40,- p.p. Literally 2 langoustine, 2 chicken legs, 2 steaks of 80 grams and vegetables. After we indicated this, the answer was. We can't do anything about it..there are multiple complaints but we don't do anything about it! Next time, go to the Dorpskamer!

Cozy atmospheric restaurant. Relaxed on the outdoor terrace. Service was friendly, correct and fast. Food was very tasty. We ate a Wiener schnitzel and a sea bream. We will definitely do this more often.

Nice weather, nice location, friendly staff and a delicious Caesar salad with bacon and chicken. You'll want to come by for that 🙂

Ate here on recommendation. The atmosphere and the commitment of the staff make your evening. And it was. The steak from the grill could have touched the grill a little shorter, but the pepper sauce was delicious. Everywhere we sat and ate very pleasantly. Reservations are a tip.

Menu is fine, not special but good. Price/quality is somewhat out of proportion. Atmosphere, decor and staff are excellent.

Gezellige, mooie inrichting. Vriendelijk personeel. Lekker eten en voldoende gevarieerde keuze (vlees, vis, salade). Onder het genot van een heerlijke lunch lekker bij gekletst met onze vrienden! We komen zeker nog eens terug!

Geweldig restaurant ,ruim opgezet en heerlijk gegeten . Vriendelijk personeel. Nadeel is de toiletten zijn in de kelder en alleen bereikbaar via een trap . Toiletruimte is ook sterk verouderd. Tip maak nieuwe toiletten op de begane grond.

Great lunch, food is good and the service is enthusiastic and young. But then the wine, a merlot please, sorry we don't have a malbec. Less accessible but not bad either, but the price is €7.00 for a glass! a wine with a purchase price of €5.50 excl. per bottle. And then they complain that they are having such a hard time, but they do ride in a porch!! It doesn't make me happy.

From Harderwijk Butterlap continued to Ermelo... Very good, fast and friendly service!! Fast kitchen really good! Exactly the same as in Harderwijk, 1 small detail...... The whipped cream! Everything is in tip-top condition, and then all that cheap whipped cream... that's a real shame and a wrong cut in my opinion!

Wij namen onze (schoon-) moeder mee uit lunchen op 2e kerstdag. Was al eens buiten op het terras geweest, maar binnen is echt een heel andere (sjiekere) beleving. Het terras meubilair vind ik wat ouderwets ogen, mag van mij vervangen worden ;) Binnen is het heel mooi!! Over het algemeen een heerlijk kaart met veel keuze (lunch & diner), vriendelijk personeel. Echt een aanrader!!

We hebben een heerlijke 2e kerstdag gehad. Het eten was heerlijk en de bediening uiterst vriendelijk. We zullen zeker terugkomen.

Bediening was supersnel, life muziek was erg goed en leuk dat t niet versterkt was en verplaatsbaar even de volle aandacht en dan weer verder het eten was erg smaakvol met heerlijke grill smaak.. onze wensen zijn vervuld 🥰

Heerlijk gegeten, super goede bediening en leuke sfeer met live muziek (vrijdag). Bediening kwam met regelmaat drankjes bijvullen en hielden goed rekening met mijn verzoek om de koolhydraten te beperken.

Come here regularly. Service is currently very good, food is tasty and what you should expect. (Cuisson good etc). Relaxing to eat with kids, especially in the corner with games. Grand cafe vibe and pleasantly busy.

Wow, what a beautiful business you have. That starts with the terrace. The Christmas atmosphere is already there and has been beautifully implemented everywhere. The fireplace is really the icing on the cake. If we are ever in the area again, I will definitely come back for a glass of wine!

Good food, great restaurant, nothing wrong with that

De Caprese was te laat uit de koelkast gehaald. Tomaten waren ijskoud en dreven in de Balsamico. Het dessert was een bakje met pudding met een bolletje citroen ijs waar je kaken van dubbel klapten. Prijs van 9 euro slaat helemaal nergens op. Uit eten op deze manier is niet leuk.

One of the nicest and most beautiful restaurants in Ermelo. We come here often with the family and are always warmly welcomed. It has a cozy living room atmosphere with delicious food and drinks. We have also celebrated special occasions here. Such as birthdays, but also a condolence after a funeral. 5 stars for this top restaurant! ⭐

We ate here last night and initially had some expectations. Unfortunately the food was of mediocre quality. The starter was fairly bland and somewhat dry, the deer stew sour and dry with indeterminate inedible pieces. The duck was edible but had no flavor in terms of taste. The fries were good. 2 stars because of the (Spanish) fries! "easy kitchen"

Gisteravond aten wij hier en hadden aanvankelijk best enige verwachtingen. Helaas was het eten van matige kwaliteit. Het voorgerecht redelijk nietszeggend en wat droogjes, de hertenstoof zuur en droog met erin onbestemde oneetbare stukjes. De eend was te eten maar had wat smaak betreft geen smoel. De frieten waren goed. 2 sterren vanwege de (Spaanse) frieten!

Had coffee here a few times this summer or a beer in the afternoon. Then excellent service and fairly smooth. Last Sunday we came for lunch and it was a bit busier. It is therefore incomprehensible that of the two employees walking around, only one could place an order. When this gentleman brought us the food he apparently overlooked our empty glasses. When he walked away and I had to call him until three and said that I liked that he immediately asked us if we wanted something to drink, he very childishly first started answering the phone at the table next to us. By the way, the Paris sandwich with bacon, goat cheese and honey was particularly tasty. Now with brown bread and it is even tastier.

Een restaurant uitproberen is altijd spannend. De Boterlap heeft al onze verwachtingen overtroffen in alle opzichten. Leuk om de carpaccio met cashewnoten te presenteren ipv pijnboompitten. Biefstuk, wit kalfsvlees, salade en friet: smullen maar. Kok en bediening bedankt.

Ambiance is bijzonder sfeervol. Prettige vriendelijke bediening. Lunchgerecht tamelijk teleurstellend, ondanks een heerlijk verse knapperige witte bol. De tonijn in de mayonaise van de bestelde vitello tonnata was ver te zoeken. Als afsluiter een koffie met tartelette besteld. Deze laatste was absoluut beneden alle peil. Een smakeloos zompig bodempje met daarop ondefinieerbare rode vruchtjes. Al even smakeloos. Wij komen hier niet terug.

Super leuk & vriendelijk personeel. Lief voor kinderen en onze hond. Er werd gelijk een bak water neer gezet voor de hond & een kleurboek plus papier en pennen voor onze dochter. Eten was ook goed, zeker een aanrader! Wij komen terug 😊

Unfortunately no positive feedback from us. Seemed inviting at first. The food was unfortunately at snack level - warmed up "satè skewers", the meat was gray and not really warm, covered by a thick layer of peanut mush. The fries are a little better, but overall a Convinence kitchen. Our criticism was not responded to and the billing was generous. Service was friendly, but not customer-oriented. Disappointing!

We ate here on 24/8/2024, and it was wonderfully cozy and affordable!

Vi besøgte denne restaurant med vores hund. Personalet var søde og imødekommende. Der blev serveret god mad af fantastiske råvare til rimelig pris. Vores hund fik serveret vand og dentalstick. Alt i alt en dejlig oplevelse.

Super good and delicious food...service in a word, top.

My wife and I really like to come here, be it for drinks or dinner. We frequently just hang out. Their “borrel” snacks are great, they have a very nice assortment of beers and the food’s quite nice too if you want to have dinner. But best of all is the staff. Everyone is really friendly and you never have to wait long to order. Wholeheartedly recommended!

Too bad there were things on the bill that we had not consumed. Fortunately, that was resolved later, but you do have to check the bill.
