We had a wonderful evening out with our parents. My father (in a wheelchair) was given a warm welcome by the staff. The food was fantastic, and we had a great laugh.

Yesterday we concluded our department outing here. Beautiful building, great atmosphere, delicious food. We started with an amuse-bouche soup with truffle, bread with aioli and butter, and delicious, crunchy rustic bread. The tuna tartare was delicious as a starter. For the main course, we had a sirloin steak with mashed vegetables and fries. For dessert, we had a cheese board. Number of points: For a restaurant like this, you expect fancy wine glasses, not the typical cafe wine glasses. I also expect freshly cut fries, not mini fries that get cold in no time. Lighting in the parking lot is a must; you had to shine your phone flashlight. Laptops in cars aren't safe these days; cars can be broken into without anyone seeing.

The food was delicious, but the service was very poor. The bread we ordered didn't arrive, and the fries we ordered didn't arrive until the rest of the food was gone. There wasn't much vegetarian food available, and ordering from the lunch menu wasn't really allowed.

A slightly pricier restaurant, but with excellent service, fast service, and very good food. The sound was also well-dampened inside. It was full and busy, but the eight of us could still hear each other clearly.

Unfortunately no longer welcome since the new manager I have been coming here with pleasure for years, but since the arrival of the new manager the atmosphere has changed completely. Today I was refused on the terrace, while there was still enough space. As a regular customer that feels downright disrespectful. No explanation, no welcome, just a blunt "no". Very disappointing how regular guests are treated now.

Great location in the Dutch countryside. It’s a nice restaurant with good quality food. A bit forgettable (posh but standard posh if that makes sense) but can’t complain much really, this is not Amsterdam. We usually go there with our dog, do a nice hike and then have dinner. Great experience.

Wonderful place. The terrace has a beautiful view of the heath and is located near various hiking trails. Good parking facilities and easy access. After a good walk we had a super tasty meal here. The menu is very nice, somewhat classically French oriented. The dishes really delicious. Well prepared and with care, good products too. The service is very friendly and the interior has a very nice atmosphere. Highly recommended to go there. And definitely do it in combination with a walk. We would love to come back.

A beautifully situated restaurant on the edge of the heath in the Gooisch Nature Reserve. Unfortunately, the service is far below par when it is busy. Sufficient staff but not very helpful let alone service-oriented. Waiting too long and still no friendly employee at the table.

Delicious menu and food! We will definitely come back. The only reason it is not 5* is the older lady who works in the service. She seemed a bit stern/unwelcoming when we walked in. We were with a dog and stroller, but we had clearly communicated this in advance and coordinated it by telephone. Younger girls in the service are super nice!

We had a delicious hot lunch here with our brothers and sisters. The upstairs room was attractively decorated. The service was excellent and we enjoyed beautiful surroundings on this sunny day!

Fantastic thing! Delicious food and great service! The dishes are very good. I had the chef's menu and it was really, really good! Can't make anything more of this Simply super good! This time we sat upstairs and it is also very nicely decorated. Parking is available in front of the door. You can take the dog with you.

With a larger group you end up in the “basement”. Every now and then someone comes to look and bring half a bottle of water or one bottle of wine. And that with 20 people?

Een avondje uit waar we veel van verwachtten, Dat viel behoorlijk tegen. - Overvolle donkere parkeerplaats. Geparkeerd in een donker bos. -Overvolle kapstokken. -Overvolle dinerzaal. Ongelooflijk veel lawaai. Een normaal gesprek voeren was niet mogelijk. Ons tafeltje had net plaats voor 4 borden. Ons tafeltje was in een hoek gepropt. -Het hoofdgerecht bestond o.a. uit te snel en te lang gebakken vis, waardoor hij heel droog was, en smakeloos. De spinazie was flauw en papperig. ( 3 personen hadden dit gerecht) Koffie hebben we ergens anders gedronken.

Had a bit of a strange experience. So we sat on the outside terrace for almost 15 minutes between 1330 and 1347. Visitors who came after us were served promptly and efficiently. We were not helped, the staff paid no attention to us. We just left.....

4 bitterballen and 4 cheese sticks and two soft drinks 19 euros. Really ridiculous! Chaotic operation. Tent is clearly intended for a shitty audience and the common man is not welcome. And a tip, turn on the light in the toilet. It's pitch black there.

Nice location. Food is well presented however bit dissapointing. Good collection of wine but our Primitivo and Valpoli were lacking the usual depth and flavours. Starter and main course ok but not really special. Amuse was highly dissapointing. Not wanting to judge on just 1 attempt. Will try again as the place is really nice for a walk.

This place checks all the boxes. Impeccable service, excellent food and what a great atmosphere! Even though I was the only non dutch speaker at the table, everyone came to me and made sure specials were said to me in English and that my drink orders were taken in english every time. I wish every place was this accommodating to foreigners!

What a nice staff (so not), we didn't even ask anything and a girl came to us with a big editoute, we are full. While half of it was empty and immediately walked away, that staff did not even deserve 1 star. Not recommended if you want a nice drink

Onvriendelijke service, ik kwam na lange fietstocht met verzoek voor 1 kopje thee, desnoods 10 minuutjes, maar ik werd onpersoonlijk weggebonjourd omdat ik niet had gereserveerd. Jammer. Het is wel een toplocatie. Maar zou hier nooit 1 cent fooi uitgeven...

During a walk I stopped on the terrace to drink a cappuccino. It was nearing lunchtime and most of the tables were set. I didn't really feel welcome there. Service seemed a bit cold. Well, I didn't need more than a short break. Helped quickly, paid immediately and moving on...

Not exactly friendly help. We asked the waiter for appetizers. Didn't get a card but the waiter curtly said: bitterballen or shrimp croquettes. We ordered the last one without knowing the price. Not knowing that afterwards we had to pay 31.50 euros for those 2 portions of 6 in total! We left dissatisfied with this action.

Hoewel terras half leeg was werd meegedeeld dat alles vol geboekt zat. We mochten alleen op de loungebank in de schaduw. Tijdens onze lunch, die was oké maar niets bijzonders, bleek dat de tafels grotendeels onbezet bleven. Al voor de tweede en nu dus zeker laatste keer deze ervaring. Niet gastvrij en duidelijk niet voor wandelaars bedoeld.

Beautifully situated restaurant with terrace overlooking the heath. Nice large parasols. We only had a drink and cannot rate the food. The food seems very well prepared and there is a nice dinner menu. Who knows next time.

Vandaag genoten van een heerlijke lunch buiten op het ruime goed verzorgde terras. Het was de eerste keer dat wij hier gegeten hebben. Vanaf het ontvangst van gastvrouw Claudia tot en met de koffie hebben wij het gevoel van vakantie gehad. Personeel zo vriendelijk, adviserend over de wijnkeuze en natuurlijk het eten was heerlijk. Ongedwongen sfeer heerste er. Wij komen zeker terug.

Received unfriendly. The terrace was empty. There was no personal choice. The tables were set for lunch and not just for a drink. When asked to adjust the table, the response was unfriendly. Decided to leave. Then we cycled to the Eendracht and we were warmly welcomed. Finally had a delicious lunch there. Nice day. Greetings Marcel

One of the best… if not THE BEST in the area. Amazing views to the nature, very tasteful interior and food and service were top level!

We got there just before 12. We had difficulty getting something to drink. They didn't really open until 12 o'clock. But they were not offered a card even after that time.

Excellent food in an attractive restaurant

The food is at the level of an eatery, but the prices are certainly not. The ladies at the counter are super friendly. Atmosphere is old-fashioned and stiff.

Atmospheric restaurant with large outdoor terrace and beautiful views of the heath. The service was smooth and attentive, but as it got busier the attention slackened somewhat. We chose the 2-course lunch menu, with raw tuna as a starter (beautifully prepared dish), then sea bass with a scallop. The scallop was slightly overcooked, but otherwise it was tasty. If closing coffee where unsolicited friandises were served for €2 per person. Bread with the meal is at an additional cost.

Delicious food at one of the most beautiful locations in the Gooi. You can enjoy it here, especially when the weather is nice. Food, service, and location all deserve a big 10.

Very attractive restaurant on the heath in Blaricum. Good food (I had the scallops, which were really delicious, and a nice menu. When we entered we were a bit lost waiting at the bar... The two members of the wait staff just happened to have left. It is highly recommended but take your credit card with you. I had lunch with the two of us and lost 150 euros...

I wanted to come in after work to drink beer and order snacks, but they kicked me out of there and said that this is not a bar and they won’t serve me. I don't recommend this place, the service sucks

Vanwege een verjaardag hebben we hier met een groep gedineerd. De verschillende gerechten vielen bijzonder in de smaak en ook de bediening was zeer attent. Niet gehaast en er werd goed meegedacht voor wat betreft alternatieven vanwege speciale wensen. Het is dan ook jammer dat het afrekenen niet ging zoals ik zou verwachten. Eerst werd de verkeerde rekening gegeven. Toen ik daarna de juiste rekening contant betaalde werd het geld, terecht, nageteld. Ik had €22 meer gegeven dan de rekening omdat ik niet kleiner had. Ik heb niet gezegd "Zo is het goed.". De reactie van de ober na het tellen van het geld was "Bedankt en nog een fijne avond.". Ik heb daarna niets gezegd over het wisselgeld omdat ik dat toch wel als fooi wilde geven. Ik vind deze manier van doen echter niet correct. Hij had minstens moeten aangeven dat hij wisselgeld ging pakken en dan was het aan mij geweest om te zeggen dat het zo goed was. Jammer deze manier van doen.
