A really nice restaurant! The food is absolutely top-notch, and the price-performance ratio is perfect. I highly recommend it!

What a lovely restaurant in a beautiful building, with friendly service and delicious food at a reasonable price. We ate here twice during our week-long vacation and enjoyed it both times. Everything was delicious, and you get a surprising amount of vegetables. A big plus! All in all, highly recommended if you're in the area. It's also very child-friendly, by the way.

Today, Mother's Day, we had a delicious lunch with eight people. The ladies/girls serving were very friendly and polite. The food was very good, from the sandwiches to the salads and the mustard soup, it all tasted great and the price was very reasonable. Haven't been yet? Then this is highly recommended.

We had a really delicious meal in this cozy restaurant. I had a delicious tomato soup with meatballs, my wife had a super tasty carpaccio and then I had a delicious pork skewer with satay sauce. My wife had a large schnitzel with mushroom sauce which was also delicious and they were large pieces of meat so unfortunately we had no room left for dessert. In short, if you are near Haaksbergen and you want tasty and affordable food, it is highly recommended Gr fam van Wijk

Had lunch with a group of 11 people yesterday. The service was very friendly and the sandwiches, salads and soups were delicious. Everything was fresh. The location is very cozy, 2 terraces, highly recommended!

It's been a while, but we went to the Christmas brunch over Christmas. What a lovely atmosphere, delicious food. So cozy, highly recommended. And kind to children. My 3 children even received a balloon and something from the Christmas tree.

Avoid this restaurant. #Update: I recommend reading the response to the review and thinking about whether you really want to visit such a restaurant. It should only be pointed out that I addressed our dissatisfaction on site and it was already conveyed on site that in this restaurant it is the customer's own fault if they don't like the food. The restaurant makes a very good impression from outside. The garden/terrace is well maintained and looked very good when driving past. This was also the reason why we stopped there. It gave the impression of a good, somewhat upscale restaurant. However, we were disappointed with the food and the service. The first waitress seemed a bit unmotivated and was more concerned with the neighboring table than with us. Later we had a second waitress who was much more motivated and friendly. Unfortunately, the next disappointment came with the meal. Unfortunately, vegetarian options were not available to order. This is very annoying, but it shouldn't happen, especially when there are only 2 vegetarian dishes on the menu anyway. This definitely doesn't seem to be the focus here. So if you expressed some disappointment about it, you just pointed out that it's a bistro kitchen and what kind of vegetarian dishes are you supposed to offer? Unfortunately, the meat dishes weren't any better. We had a schnitzel and a cheeseburger. The burger made a good visual impression. The bun and salad on the burger were good and gave the impression of an upscale burger. Unfortunately, this was ruined by the burger bulette. This was not a ground beef patty. It was a homogeneous, very compact lump of meat and unfortunately had absolutely nothing to do with a classic burger. We also had a schnitzel, which unfortunately wasn't good either. The breading was soft and mushy and the schnitzel fell apart in your mouth without any texture when you ate it. The meat was soft/mushy. When asked later whether everything was ok and feedback was wanted, the only response to the criticism expressed was: That would be incomprehensible and it would be up to the guest. I think this reaction fits very well into the pattern in which people responded to reviews here on Google. Errors/complaints will be dismissed and the fault lies with the customer. In summary, I can't recommend the restaurant and the shop doesn't seem quite sure what it wants to be. From the outside it gives the impression of an upscale restaurant and also creates these expectations. When it comes to the food, it gives the impression of a snack bar. or rather the owner himself said that it is a bistro kitchen. This does not correspond to the previously raised expectations.

Super nice staff! Had ice cream and coffee a few times. They already knew after 1 time how I prefer to drink my coffee...

The three of us enjoyed the weather and the beautiful view on the terrace, but especially the delicious food. Chef Rick really does his utmost to please his guests, and he succeeds! A nice atmosphere, delicious schnitzels and meat skewers with delicious - home-made - sauces, plus excellent fries. And all this at a very friendly price. Cozy and good food for a good price.

We were in the Holiday Park and enjoyed dinner here on day 1. Service is super friendly and helpful. Had a cheeseburger, I can honestly say the best I've had in a long time. The atmosphere inside is very pleasant, lovely chairs to relax on after a long drive. The terrace looks beautiful and well-maintained. An ideal place if you want a stopover from cycling or walking.

Pleasant and characteristic resting point during the bike ride. Enough space to park your bike (or car). Nice terrace to enjoy something tasty. The service and owners are hospitable with a sense of humor. The soup and sandwich taste good.

Beautiful surroundings.. it was very busy, many reservations so we were only allowed to use snacks. Pity.

Surprisingly delicious food. Schnitzel was wonderfully tender and there were serious chunks of fresh mushrooms in the cream sauce. Service excellent. But it should be noted that we were pretty much the only guests 😉. So I can't say much about the atmosphere.

What a cool place... especially after the takeover you can see that there is a lot more to it than just a tea shop. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and also by the fantastic service and conviviality that I experienced. We had made a reservation on Friday evening. The restaurant turned out to be completely empty. Nice lady, with not much experience yet. Baguette, 2 pre-baked rolls (supermarket) unsliced, too bad. Mustard soup, sour. In response, it may not have been freshly made, perhaps the lid was put on the pan in the afternoon? Unfortunately, the lady did not return. Tomato soup, nothing special...fresh? Carpaccio tough. Main courses, simple and not great in taste. Tip serve on warm plates, now everything was lukewarm. Fries were tasty. Desserts not special. They don't have to be culinary delights, but this could really be improved. Too bad, it's a beautiful place, but there is still a lot to learn.

Maar ook de rest van het menu is niet te weerstaan De mosterdsoep moet je zeker proberen Je kunt het goed met andere gerechten combineren Bijvoorbeeld de super-de-luxe cheeseburger Het is wel een echte hoe-doe-ik-hem-in-de-mond-wurger Van de buurvrouw hoorden we dat de biefstuk ook lekker is maar ook de schnitzels zijn daar zeker niet mis! Tot slot een lekker ijsje, een ijscoupe of gewoon in de hand Ja.... deze zaak is echt plezant! Tomatensoep uit blik. Mosterdsoep met spek (spekreepjes/plakjes gewoon beleg). Schnitzel was erg eenvoudig, miste groente.

Gezellig en vooral eerlijk tea huis. Met zelfbereide , verse producten. Fijn om te bezoeken na een wandeling of fietstocht. Van mij zou het vaker open mogen zijn. Buiten op terras heerlijk vertoeven. Sinds de nieuwe serre , ook heerlijk in de wintertijd. Anja

Urgemütliches Teehaus, wo es auch leckeren Kaffee gibt! Haben nach einem tollen Spaziergang im angrenzenden Waldgebiet schön draußen gesessen. Top!

Minpuntje was dat de bediening op zich liet wachten. Zelf binnen uiteindelijk bestelling doorgegeven. De cappuccino en zelfgemaakte appeltaart waren heerlijk. Mooie locatie.
