Great atmosphere, good food, very friendly staff!

The welcome and the food were delicious!!! However, there were many wasps that interrupted our relaxing moment.

Wonderful place to be. Enjoy a local specialty under the characteristic tree while the peace of the countryside is palpable. You just want to have tasted this atmosphere.

Yesterday we arrived with 1 group of 8 cyclists after 65km we wanted to eat together in Buurse at the neighbors there was not enough staff so we called Winkelman that was possible... but everything had to be on 1 bill that was impossible for us we barely knew each other 1 bill and then saying what you had eaten was also not possible... so after 1 bike ride it turns out that you cannot eat with more people in Buurse.. then we went to Lonneker then it was explained wrong to us.. just 1 bill and then everyone says what he has eaten

Today we were NOT served on the terrace, because we were with a group of walkers. If you wanted to eat or drink something you had to stand in line at the bar for a long time and order and pay there and take your own drinks outside. The male attendant was quite grumpy. Not recommended.

Enjoyed a delicious and extensive lunch with hot and cold dishes on the terrace under the old chestnut tree. It's a bit of a shame that we were charged for the carafe of tap water that we ordered, in addition to coffee and soft drinks (€3.50).

This afternoon we had a nice lunch here. We had the Lunch Board and a Schnitzel. The soup on the platter was tasty, the large sandwich was definitely a sandwich from the fresh bakery. It is comfortably furnished, part of it is the old pub part, the other half is modernly furnished. The owner is very friendly and "flat proaten" is also possible there. The service was friendly. Parking available.

Een gezellig eetcafé waar je heerlijk kunt eten met een menukaart ook met vegetarische gerechten. Gezellige hardwerkende en vriendelijke eigenaren en het personeel is ook heel vriendelijk. Vlotte bediening. Aan de zijkant van het eetcafé zit nog een cafetaria voor afhaal van de snelle hap en in april is er weer zelfgemaakte schepijs in heerlijke smaken.

Ook vanavond weer heerlijke schnitzels en een perfecte spies met gebakken aardappeltjes en patat afgehaald. We rijden er graag voor naar Buurse! 👌🏻

Winkelman is van alle markten thuis. Of je nu iets haalt bij de snackbar (kan ook een heerlijke afhaalmaaltijd zijn) of je in het restaurant een, het eten is van zeer goede kwaliteit en dat voor een keurige prijs. Ook voor feesten is Winkelman beschikbaar, met zijn zalencentrum of op locatie. Het café is ook nog eens gezellig.
