An insider tip for long walks in unique natural surroundings – in the Buurserzand, you'll find De Wakel in the middle of a dreamlike landscape. You can sit inside or outside and enjoy hot chocolate with whipped cream, cappuccino, and fresh apple pie. The prices are reasonable, and the team is very friendly and dedicated. Dogs are welcome and provided with water. The outdoor seating enjoys a sunny side, sheltered from the wind, making it a pleasant place to sit even in the winter sun.

Want to relax after a brisk walk with a cup of coffee and an apple pie in a nice, quiet location? Well then you've come to the right place, friendly service and absolutely not expensive. They also have a large jar of cookies for the four-legged friends among us, everyone has been taken into account.

Beautiful place to take a break while cycling the flamingo route. Super friendly staff, delicious homemade apple pie with whipped cream and nice coffee. The prices are also still affordable. What a nice beautiful place👌
