De Jungle organizes various events. We’ve done Africa and Decadeland. There is a relaxed atmosphere. The Africa Day was absolutely fantastic!

A unique place with a good atmosphere and delicious food.

I was only here to paintball. So no eating! Due to a mistake by our driver, we accidentally ended up on the grounds, even though you are actually supposed to park at the station. The lady at the entrance there apparently still has a thing or two to learn about customer service. Very nasty attitude towards customers who make a mistake by accident. Paintballing was fun though, with a nice host there.

The toilets are a bit dated, and a door to a men's toilet was even missing. The toilet paper ran out...... fortunately, it was refilled later.

What an incredibly nice location. Hippie style, so nicely done. We had a wedding there; everything was so well taken care of, and the food and drinks were delicious.

I have been here several times and was never very impressed by the service, but my latest experience has definitely made me decide not to return. We bought 4 tickets for the Spanish festival. Upon arrival, it turned out the event had already been cancelled due to insufficient registrations. Remarkably, I was able to buy an extra ticket that very morning, without any notification that the event was not going ahead. I was told that the refund would be processed automatically. It has now been over two months. After more than 10 emails and multiple attempts to contact them, I still have not received any money. Only after I contacted the ticket platform did Jungle admit that a mistake had been made. They even offered to transfer the amount directly from their own account. To date, that has not happened either. Festival cancelled, but since we were there anyway, we decided to have a drink. Ordering an Aperol Spritz turned out to be impossible because the necessary products were supposedly unavailable. However, those products were visibly standing behind the bar. Subsequently, it was indicated that no cocktail staff member was present. I worked in the hospitality industry myself for over 15 years and understand that not everything is always possible. But at that moment, there were two employees behind the bar and only a handful of guests present. Some of them had come specifically for a festival that turned out not even to be taking place. In that case, you should at least expect some effort to resolve the situation or accommodate the guests. Normally, I do not write negative reviews, but in this case, I simply feel misled. Communication is poor, agreements are not honored, and problems are not resolved. I still haven't received my money back, and by now, I have lost all faith in this organization. Therefore, I absolutely do not recommend this location.

We were with a group of 12 people who arrived because a party had been cancelled! But at 10:00 PM they said they wouldn't be selling anymore, and people kept coming. If you want a place that is too boring and has no good service, you are welcome. I do not recommend it at all, unless you are a very boring person.

What an incredibly bad experience. Service was practically non-existent and the quality was severely substandard. I will absolutely never come back here and would not recommend this place to anyone.

I would give it fewer stars if I could. The staff was terrible, which is a shame, because the place is big. I was hugely disappointed and wouldn't recommend it to anyone, unless they want to be bored to death and have a terrible experience. What a bunch of bitter people.

Very poor service, there was no music, there was no service at the outdoor tables, there was supposed to be a 90s party and when they arrived, they cancelled it.

Terrible service, downright racist, the worst experience I have ever had in this country. We were a group of 12 adults and 3 children looking for a cozy, family atmosphere, but what we found was an anti-foreign culture. They were incredibly rude and ill-mannered. They refused to serve us and we couldn't even buy food for the children.

1 star bc I can’t give them 0. They said it will be an event, it’s a lie! Food? Just available in some specific tables. No Music. Mood? Disappointed. Do you have the opportunity to visit it? Don’t take it.

No music, no ice cream. Plus, no food because we were too far away? So they don't serve throughout the entire venue? I don't get it. The event is narrative until the very last moment. The server was not polite. Not a good place at all.

We were here during the recent Walk on Water festival. What a wonderfully relaxed and open atmosphere.

One of my friends, whose girlfriend was supposed to DJ at a trance party, got beat up by an overly agitated, unprofessional bouncer for absolutely nothing. Unbelievable, what an aggressive idiot. We're never coming back. Shitty atmosphere. You're supposed to feel safe with those bouncers, but that wasn't the case.

Recently discovered this place, "De Jungle," and what a fun place! We were there during the Japan & Korea Food & Light Festival in Zaanstad... great atmosphere, delicious food and drinks, we'd love to go back again this year.

Recently went to the Japan Food and Light Festival with a group. We had a great atmosphere, a nice combination of food, drinks, and lights. Unique location, though.

The Japan Korean Light Festival was a lot of fun. The grounds were a bit muddy, but the atmosphere was great. I would have preferred a bit more variety in the food, but what was there was delicious. Definitely worth repeating!

We went to the Japan & Korea Light & Food Festival in Zaanstad. It was poorly organized, with long lines at food trucks, few warm seats, and long waits for food and drinks. The description says it's fun for kids, but there are few facilities for them. It's not easy to access with a stroller because of the mud, and the toys sold aren't CE-approved, the lights are too bright. I don't understand how these can be sold at such a festival. A flop for us.

Hi team Jungle! My partner and I had an incredible time at Decadeland. We're once again amazed by what they've achieved. The presentation was fantastic, the dancing was great, and we're looking forward to our next event @theJungle. Best, Diego

Nice place. The intention is good. The arcade itself is a nice touch, but waiting an hour and a half for fries? Come on, you know it can get busy. And yes, you'll get hungry. The restrooms are also a joke; the door won't close, the faucet doesn't work. And oh, don't come in the rain, or wear wellies! Management makes a mess of things!

We hosted a Peruvian event in this venue. The place is huge, with different areas, with decoration from different cultures and beliefs, feels like in the jungle. The venue has bouncy castles for kids, many foodtrucks that you can use (previous coordination with the venue), a bamboo area, a mystic and psicodelix indoor stage, and many more things. We hosted the event for around 550 people, with 5 caterings, and 10 artists, and the staff were willing to help always.

What a surprisingly lovely place! Hidden behind Wormerveer station, you wouldn't expect such a gem! A wonderful place to enjoy drinks with friends. We enjoyed delicious beers and a tasty platter to share. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit!

You have to visit this place at least once. Various activities, such as paintball, are available, and it's also great for parties and weddings.

Bad and antisocial service that blames you for not bringing the ordered food. And has a discussion about it. Then gets cold food from somewhere (fishes it out of the trash??) and wants to give it anyway. Downright nasty experience. Was too angry to ask for my money back.

It's a very picturesque spot behind the train station in Wormerveer. It reminds me of a typical beach bar, and the vibe is very alternative. They sometimes hold themed parties or festivals with food and workshops. I like the atmosphere for going for a drink, but not so much for eating. Food prices (at least during these festivals or parties) are quite high, and the quality and quantity aren't the best. I've been there three times already: one Asian restaurant, another I don't remember what, and another serving Spanish tapas. I was disappointed with the food on all three occasions, especially the tapas restaurant. Being Spanish, I felt a bit like I was cheated by tourists, but without being a tourist. I'll still go there because the place is very cool, and it's worth it to go with your partner or friends for a drink and spend the afternoon.

A wonderful experience to be able to enjoy

We spontaneously visited Bar De Jungle on Saturday lunchtime and were surprised at what was hidden behind the tracks. Paintball, airsoft terrain, bar area, huge outdoor beach life and a great event hall with unusual Deku in alternative style. Thank you for the nice service and the lovely stay that we were able to enjoy with chilled house music.

Had a church meeting. Not accessible by car, even with a disabled card. Meeting well organized. Didn't eat. Well-prepared snacks. Friendly service

On Sunday afternoon we went to the Jungle for a Rock n Roll party. What a nice concept for a Sunday afternoon. Nice atmosphere, good music and delicious food. Highly recommended to spend a boring Sunday afternoon and evening in De Jungle.

Had to wait 45 minutes for our mayo fries...they were not prepared for the crowds...event from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM and ordered the fries via QR code at 6:39 PM. They were very friendly, also explained to us that they were understaffed in the kitchen and apologized. The fries were of excellent quality, mayonnaise was a bit low for the amount of fries, but a lot of salt was sprinkled on them. But all in all, I got quite cold while waiting... you sit outside and you are not allowed to leave your table because the QR code is table registered. At 8:30 PM I had to decide to leave the event and go home, which is a 2-hour drive... The location really has a jungle look, staff is very friendly. There are chickens and roosters... the rooster on the shuffleboard got angry when you took the disc out of the points box... great. Indoor areas were fine, dance floor perfect. Unfortunately, there is a negative point about the ladies' toilets... these were NOT clean, there was dirt on the side of the bowl... too bad... Halloween in the Jungle was really fun!!!

Paintball Jungle & Escape Room is a great place to play paintball with a group. I had a great time there and would recommend it. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Hidden gem behind the station. Super cool entertainment location with a very diverse range of activities. Good and affordable food. Last year's surprise. Very friendly staff, jovial manager, from salsa to psy, paintball center and festivities options. From business lunch to birthday party. You really MUST go here sometime 🤗 Beautiful ambiance, eye-catching decoration. Free parking in front of the station and next to it. Tip: keep a close eye on the website and party agenda 🙏👍

Japan and Korean food festival!

Nice place but the party was crowded so felt very little space.

Yesterday we went to the Japanese & Korean beach food festival with a group. Entrance cost 8.50 p.p. and for that you got food trucks, K-POP Silent disco, Sushi & Ramen creations, Japanese live acts and Korean Food creations, according to the announcement. We spotted 7 food trucks and 1 kimono shop. The range of food was very limited (mostly 2 types of snacks in fact) which caused long lines at the 2 or 3 trucks where there was actually something to eat. Once it was our turn, around 7 p.m., the sushi was gone. And other dishes also quickly disappeared from the menu, so we only tasted octopus balls and drumsticks. The prices were ridiculously high (like 15 euros for rice with 2 giant shrimps). We did not see a silent disco or live act during our stay, but Latin music was played. The atmosphere was not bad, but the site is small, the entertainment minimal and we left hungry. It did not meet our expectations. We still feel a bit cheated. Never again for us.

We were looking for a unique location for our wedding with a nice festival atmosphere. So we ended up at the Jungle and how fantastic it was! Owner Rob is a very creative man who came up with all kinds of cool ideas, such as placing a photo booth in a bamboo garden, a real hit at the wedding. If you are looking for a unique place then you should definitely go to the Jungle. Our guests were surprised by this special, crazy place and loved it. We enjoyed it, thanks again very much to the Jungle team! ❤️

Had a very nice meal with a group. We had the BBQ package with chef, we enjoyed the casual atmosphere. A nice extra surprise was the wide range of drinks. The Mexican lemonade was very tasty, as were the different types of whiskeys! I can't wait to come back when summer starts! You almost feel like you're in a piece of South America once you're on site. Kind of like a holiday, but in your own environment.

I came to play paintball. But my balls were still blue so I couldn't participate. The BBQ was nothing special, but it was filling. The atmosphere is good and it is nicely decorated. Some work was being done so maybe it will look different next time.

I went to Asian Light Festival with my children last weekend and what I liked most was the atmosphere. They had a fun arcade for young and old. The karaoke room was also nicely decorated with light elements. The food and drinks were good and the restaurant was nicely decorated. It was busy with a lot of people but luckily there were plenty of places to sit. My children want to go again next time. The location is right next to a train station and free parking.

Paintball jungle is a nice hidden location. In addition to paintballing, you can do all sorts of things there, such as having a bite to eat, an escape room, salsa dancing and there are great parties on location. Music is not always my taste, but the food is!

We went to the Asian light & food festival. Food was expensive and not tasty, atmosphere was weird, location was gross. I had the feeling that I had ended up in some sort of anti-squat territory, but I paid the top price. It was all so ridiculous that I still found it laughable somehow. Back home with screeching tires.

Really enjoyed the Asian Light Festival! So atmospheric with all the lights and fire pits, beautiful seating areas, etc. Inside is also super cozy with occasional live music, DJ, silent disco, arcade. Delicious food inside and outside. So much to see and do, lovely staff. We had a great time and stayed until the end! We will probably come back this summer in a different setting. Thank you!

What a terrible recommendation for the so-called Asian Light Festival. 100% sure the positive reviews are from staff or something. What a terrible mockery. A few inflatable Chinese-looking lights and dilapidated seating areas. You'll be done within 1 minute. It's outrageous that this costs money. Feel like I was lured to a restaurant under false pretenses. 3 mini skewers of satay 9 euros (also the only thing available). Even for free, I wouldn't have wanted to go here afterwards! The people walking in front of us at the station were also saying "okay.... Well that's that.." joking to each other about how bad this was. This is really upsetting. Luckily we only paid 7 euros via tripper, but again I wouldn't have wanted to go for free. This is really a scam to lure people to that restaurant.

Jungle radiates so much atmosphere and conviviality. Food delicious, people very nice. (silent) disco beautiful and fun, karaoke fun and above all saw a lot of nice and special items. Great atmosphere. I also read less good reviews, it just depends on what you want/expect...wet seats outside makes sense when it rains, plenty of room inside. Lovely fires outside. It is not surprising that the light works of art outside in the rain are no longer completely intact due to the weather and wind. Go make it. Nevertheless, it was super beautifully made and it was still very artistic and beautiful light objects, see photos. I come there often and will certainly come back again in the summer for a fun festival. Or enjoy a nice meal with friends and play paintball. Ideal, seating and conviviality everywhere. Have fun.

Nice surprise, I didn't know what to expect from the Asian Light festival, but we did the jungle tour with light artworks in amazement... really laughed! The large hall is also great and even a Kareoke room... nice people and what a lot of work and energy they have put into it... little is left of the old football club, but just enough to recognize some of it here and there... 😜

Always a treat to get to the jungle! As always, we received a friendly welcome and enjoy the menu every time. The burgers in particular are highly recommended. Even if the weather is bad, we work hard to keep the atmosphere high and you can enjoy yourself by the campfire or inside by the stove. I am always amazed at how creative the owners are in decoration and this is taken into account with almost all holidays and events. The jungle is a real hang-out place to relax! Hidden gem

Zo op het eerste oog een relaxte hippietent maar het is zowel binnen als buiten erg vies; vieze kleden op doorgezakte banken en krakkemikkige stoelen. Overal spinnenwebben en stof kennelijk wordt er nooit schoongemaakt. wc's oud, vies en defect. Kale barman is een nare sacherijn, totaal niet klantvriendelijk en erg traag. Drankjes kosten de hoofdprijs, totaal misplaatst voor deze lokatie. Klein lichtpuntje: de zoete aardappel patat was lekker en snel op tafel via qr code bestelling.

Prachtige plek, voelt echt alsof je op vakantie bent. Je kun hier paintballen, zelf een feestje organiseren of bijvoorbeeld op zondag lekker salsadansen (en zelfs salsales nemen!). Vooral in de zomer met BBQ is de sfeer helemaal compleet. Dikke aanrader, ook om lekker te chillen met een hapje en een drankje.

Ik heb een burger bestelt deze was lekker. Ik heb ook gepaintballed mij begeleider was een jonge man zijn naam was kelt hij was echt goed in uitleggen over het veld en hoe we veilig konden spelen. Ik had nog nooit gepaintballed maar de begeleider stelden mij gerust en gaf me een goed gevoel. Top service over het algemeen!

Geweldig! Wat een heerlijke sfeer, en wat een leuke mensen! Echt helemaal top!! Iedereen praat, danst en drinkt! Echt een plek om te genieten!

Na evenement van staatsbosbeheer kwamen we hier uit. Leuk live muziek en een springkussen. Grappige plek om een keer te zijn maar meer dan een uur wachten op wat eten dat ook nogeens koud is.. dat is dan weer niet zo grappig.

Onze ervaring strookt niet met de recensies tot nu toe. In het weekend met mooi weer staat het er wat verlaten bij. Met uitzondering van (grotendeels) groepen Franse toeristen die paintballen en lallend en paffend (rookoverlast) een pilsje achteraf erin kletteren. Het is een bepaalde vrije stijl, maar die eindigt bij mij bij smerige stoelen en vogels die etensresten uit een bak aan het pikken zijn. Geen plek om "chill" met je gezin of partner even te hangen bleek helaas. Eten okay, daarvoor nog op 2 sterren.

A place to go if you want to travel without actually traveling. This place will make you feel like your on vacation.

Heb er salsadansen (les) gehad. Is een oude voetbalkantine, dus geen echte dansvloer. Pad naar die ex-kantine is (zeker in het donker) geen lekker pad om over te lopen of te fietsen.

Leuke eettent met een goede bbq selectie. Als het mooi weer is kan je lekker buiten zitten en van de zon genieten. Binnen staat de muziek wel erg hard.
