I ate here yesterday but the sushi was dried out, the dessert cakes were dried out so they had been sitting there for a while. The pizzas were soggy on the bottom. And the fries and bitterballen were a bit hard, so almost burnt. Otherwise, a nice atmosphere!!

I have to say the food is tasty but it seems like the soy sauce is diluted with the sushi.. I eat sushi regularly and the soy sauce is just like dinner, it has almost no taste... The barmaid who serves people is amazing!! Clearing service too but please don't dilute the soy sauce ❤️

Bad food, tough and tasteless, little choice, no sauce for your grilled meat or teriyaki.

They have a bit of everything, but compared to other restaurants, they have a smaller selection. It is ideal with children, though, as you can keep a close eye on them. And kids can pick out quite a few things they like.

Had an incredibly bad meal. The food was burnt, the steak was tough. The buffet was not ready upon arrival. If you mention it, you are told that you probably don't eat out often, and that everything was fresh. Well, it was anything but fresh! Absolutely not recommended.

The atmosphere and staff were excellent, but the food could be better. I sat there for two hours but didn't see anyone walking around with fresh trays of food.

ATTENTION MUSLIMS: Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. The food was not flavorful; for instance, I was served a lamb chop that was still completely raw (bright red) on the inside. However, the handling of the halal meat is far more concerning. In the wok section, chicken, beef, and pork are placed directly next to each other, causing pork to constantly end up in the other containers. When I raised this issue, I was spoken to kindly by a staff member, but the cook's solution was unacceptable: he simply picked the pieces of pork out of the containers with chicken and beef and served the rest as usual. For a restaurant that claims to be halal-certified, this is a gross error. The certification here seems to be merely a label for show. I will never return here and advise Muslims against eating here.

As a vegetarian, it's quite disappointing here. Few veggie options. Plenty of meat, fish, and desserts. Nice fresh orange juice though 👍 Sweet white wine 👍 For the all-inclusive price with light alcoholic drinks, fine 👍 ( World Restaurant Beverwijk is still the best after all 😬 )

The food is okay, for that kind of money they even pour beer for 0.3, but whatever, you can go there for 2.5 hours of gluttony, but I don’t want to go there a second time, because I was too full the first time, the establishment is for one time, in my opinion, but it’s definitely worth going and trying everything.

We were a large group: young and old, and children. We had a wonderful time; it was a huge party. Without a doubt, the perfect place for a cozy evening together enjoying a delicious meal. There are also oysters here where you can find pearls, and this restaurant is certainly a "pearl" on the Zaan River. ♡ ~~~~~~~♡♡♡♡♡♡~~~~~~ Last night we were a group of 30 people. We thoroughly enjoyed all the delicious food, the friendly and attentive service, the ambiance, and the peaceful atmosphere in the restaurant. Wonderful memories to reminisce! ÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷ Simply put, very good: Food, service, ambiance, and all sorts of positive details. There were 24 of us, and the feedback was very positive. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the food. We sat together and enjoyed the pleasant food and company.

A similar situation as the girl below. We ate not to "cheaken" the €50, but to try a little bit of everything. We felt fine in the evening, but the next morning and evening we experienced symptoms of food poisoning.

We visited this place on Saturday (all you can eat concept). After dinner, both my boyfriend and I felt very sick with strong stomach pain and symptoms of food poisoning. There is clearly a serious issue with food quality or freshness. Instead of enjoying our evening, we spent the night feeling unwell. This completely ruined our experience. Very disappointed. A restaurant should never make people sick. Not recommended.

Everything you'd expect from a wok with an all-inclusive concept. The downside is that vegetarian customers don't have much choice at this wok. Since I'm vegetarian, the rating is therefore slightly lower.

Just like before, we had a delicious meal again and the empty plates were collected very quickly.

You can enjoy a delicious wok here. It's all-inclusive, except for spirits. The food is good and varied.

You can eat as much as you can, wide choice, nice service, it's fun to come here a few times a year.

We dined here yesterday with 16 adults and 8 children. Everything was perfectly arranged. The food was delicious, and the children had plenty of space. Highly recommended for a large group!

The best ribs😁 And the fish cooked on site is super delicious There is a lot of variety of food. Many different desserts. For the kids there is a chocolate fountain and types of ice cream.

Always room! Even without a reservation. The price is reasonable. Lots of meat and fish available.

In Zaandam a great opportunity to have a nice meal out with friends.

Unfortunately, it's getting more and more expensive and the portions are getting smaller. I think the sea bass is undersized. The same goes for the steak and salmon, very small pieces... not in proportion to the price.

I like the food and the concept

Delicious food, good service. @Crystalwok#zaandam. It wasn't busy either (18:00) which was good for my mother who has some difficulty walking alone. So space for a walker is suitable. Will definitely come back here.

For the ever increasing prices nothing has improved. The food assortment seems to be getting smaller. More and part of the food does not taste fresh or anything close to it. Desserts that are warm. Several things that are sloppy as if they are already a few days old. And that on a Friday night in a restaurant that is not even 25% full. Says enough where it is normally packed with people on the weekends. Also for us the last time here a complete waste of money.

Crystalwok Zaandam – All you can eat party! What a great evening at Crystalwok Zaandam! So much choice, everything fresh and super tasty – from sushi to wok, grill, desserts and more. You just keep eating all those goodies! The live kitchen is truly a show to watch, and the staff is super friendly. Today a special shout-out to Vanessa from the bar – sweet, spontaneous and very helpful. You were the star of the evening! And for such an extensive experience it is really a small price to pay. I have loved coming to this restaurant for many years, but the last 2 times I found that the meat from the grill had deteriorated considerably, less flavor and a lot of fat in between, which is a shame unfortunately 😞

I recently went to Crystal Wok in Amsterdam, but unfortunately I had a very bad experience. Shortly after my visit I became very ill, with severe gastrointestinal complaints, which strongly indicates food poisoning. The sushi in particular did not taste fresh, and I suspect that was the cause. In addition, I was given meat that was still too raw, which indicates poor hygiene or insufficient preparation. Some dishes had been there for a very long time and did not look fresh anymore. I advise others to pay close attention when eating here and hope that the restaurant takes their hygiene and food quality seriously, because this should not happen.

Good food, cozy tent. I recommend arriving on time, the later the busier and noisier. Great fun.

The food was delicious my family liked it, every time they came when there were empty plates or cups.

Unexpectedly atmospheric and very good food. We ended up at the restaurant by chance. Crystal wok has positively surprised us. My head wanted to try even more because it was so tasty and well prepared. My stomach told me it was enough. Service was good. Recommended. Sushi - tenderloin and kangaroo from the grill. The chicken gyoza was also well filled. The seaweed was fresh and well marinated.

Wonderful restaurant where you can eat whatever you want, whether with small or large groups. It is advisable to book in advance on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Very nice to eat with children. They can put together their own meal. We enjoy eating here and it is definitely recommended

First surprised with the price on Boxing Day, 145 euros for 2 adults and 1 child. The price was immediately doubled without it being passed on, so I was forced to take a seat anyway. And then all that food, my god, it was really bad. This was the first time but also the last time. Too few choices and you are constantly getting in each other's way. I ate 2 plates with my girlfriend, 1 and the child, only some sushi, worst experience ever with a wok joint

Tasteless Also nothing to do for kids and I think the price for kids is exaggerated. 5 to 12 years 25 euros. You cannot compare a 5 year old child with a 12 year old child. A pleasant and delicious meal with the family. The atmosphere was very cozy and nice.

What a bad restaurant this is. Many dishes were gone. If you asked about it, you barely got an answer. The Nasi was even gone! It was so busy that you could no longer see the forest for the trees. I'll come back here.

Had a fabulous evening in the Crystal Wok. Went with family members who are regulars in the restaurant which was good because I'd never been to this buffet style of restaurant before. There was mainly Asian food - lots of fresh veg and seafood that you could collect a plateful of and it would be 'wokked up' for you while you waited, but there were also some pasta dishes, pizza and accompaniments that would suit a beige diet such as curly fries, chicken nuggets and chips. There were some fantastic desserts too. We had a two and a half hour time slot - enough time for 5 platefuls of delicious food and a few drinks. Happy days! And it's a perfect place to try something out and not worry about having to eat a plateful of it if you realise you don't like it. I tried scallops for the first time. Delicious! I'll be back when I visit my family in Zaandam again

The food is very tasty. The service is good, all employees are nice and always positive, which makes the atmosphere cozy regardless of the decor and how busy it usually is!

At the entry we were asked whether anyone had their birthday. This was the case. A nice deduction was in place. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We got a nice spot for 2. We started off with good seafood, then teppanyaki and some warm side dishes. The wine were good and fitted well. We can say we were pleasantly surprised by the "good value for money". We definitely and strongly recommend.

The two of us went there for the first time to eat there, first after the fair and at 6pm because it was also my birthday. I thought the restaurant was super nice with all you can eat, the concept is similar to the world restaurant Beverhof, which has the same. We will definitely go there again next time, I highly recommend it.

We have been coming to Crystal Wok as a family for over 10 years. Both kids crawled on the floor here. And actually it was the first time with friends twenty years ago. Was for a Valentine's dinner. Great fun then and have eaten here many times since. Quality of the food is top notch. Wide choice of soft drinks. The interior was nicely renovated a few years ago. This is my favorite All you can eat restaurant. The hostess (owner) and all staff are customer-friendly and service-oriented. As a guest you really feel welcome here. And honestly, I didn't even want to post this. Purely out of selfishness, because I won't be able to reserve a table anymore 😄. But I wish them so much and they deserve it.

I felt there was less choice of food than our previous visits. It was also tasty and fresh.

The interior decor is very pretty as you can see on the photo! About the service: it’s mostly younger servers that grab things from the table if they “think” you’re done without saying a word, so you might want to watch out for that if you’re not done with certain plates. However, I was quite disappointed with the food options. If you’re vegan don’t bother going, as a vegetarian you might find a few things to eat. I personally thought it was very pricey for what they offer and there’s a lot of people as well so you might have to wait longer for food to be “refilled” (the moment you enter you have 2-3 hours to eat). It is nice that you can drink whatever you want from the fridges they have (see photo), there’s no limit. And I liked that there was a fresh orange juice machine!

Very tasty food and lots of choice. The price-quality ratio is very good. Since it concerns all you can eat, it is of course especially interesting for big eaters. The only disadvantage is that they do not change the cutlery when clearing plates.

From the outside it doesn't look special, but the interior is clean and nice. We were refused because we had not made a reservation (3 people) but we were able to make a reservation online so we returned 20 minutes later and were still seated. Very weird Drinks are included, soft drink powder but bottled spring water and fresh orange juice, plenty of choice. Also a lot of food choice, some things are meh like the pizza and lamb chops, other things like tenderloin and t-bone are good. Lots of raw fish/shellfish products, that went well for us, but I can see that going wrong at some point. Almost all the fruit was canned In the end we had a great meal

It’s really delicious. It’s the best restaurant since I came to the Netherlands. It’s the most authentic of all.

Good aelection of meat including lamb and kangaroo. Same for fish lots of varieties of salmon and shrimps. Very good food ovetall. On the downside is the price. I always feel i have to drink and eat a lot to make it worth. But i guess thats Dutch :)

Food is disappointing. When you enter you think, everything is great to eat here, lots of choice. But while eating, more and more weight is lost because it does not taste good because it has been left for too long and/or the quality is not that good. Too expensive. If you drink a lot of beer the price is ok. If you drink some soft drinks it is way too expensive.
