We came in here for drinks only after eating at one of the other restaurants on the square. We walked in with a take away box from that restaurant to be told we couldn’t eat it in here. We explained that we just wanted drinks and we were taking the box home and not planning to eat it. 2 more waitresses came up and told us the exact same. If we hadn’t ordered our drinks I would have left. We then finished our drinks and no one came to take our order so we got our bill and left. To say it wasn’t busy, the service wasn’t good. The atmosphere was nice with music playing which is why I have left 3 stars, but we won’t be returning.

We had some lovely drinks today before heading to Emma Heesters. We were served by Dylan, who brought a super nice atmosphere with him. Besides that, the service was very good too! Highly recommended to come here more often.

Last night we had another fantastic evening at the Dinnershow, this time with Replay. We chose a Tower to Share. And each dish was even tastier than the last. 👌 Added to that, everything was presented beautifully. The staff creates the right atmosphere and ensures that you want for nothing. We will be back soon to try the other dishes and, of course, the delicious cheesecake. Because we didn't have room for that. 😜

Today I tried to have a drink at Eve. After a while, a waitress came to take my order. I wanted to order a beer, a cappuccino, and a glass of water. Her answer was that only a bottle of water can be ordered and that you only get that little glass of water with wine!?! In all the surrounding cafes, you get a glass of water with coffee without any problems if you want it. Coffee and water belong together. For the time being, I will bypass Eve in my regular Saturday routine of drinking coffee with friends and choose places with better service.

We eat here regularly now. The food is always delicious. The cocktails too, by the way. The staff is always super friendly and fun. It is our favorite restaurant. We have to drive 30/40 minutes to get there, but we are happy to do so.

Absolutely appalling experience. We waited to be seated while multiple staff members walked past us and deliberately avoided eye contact, as if trying not to acknowledge us. When someone finally did, we were dismissively told to “sit anywhere”, with no welcome or basic hospitality. After sitting down, we asked for menus and were told they would be brought over. We waited over 10 minutes, nothing. I then had to go up to the bar to ask whether we were supposed to order there, only to be told it’s table service. I asked again for menus. What followed was honestly shocking. Staff proceeded to serve every table around us, bringing menus and taking orders, while completely ignoring ours. The restaurant wasn’t even busy, so there was no excuse for this level of neglect. After 20 minutes of being blatantly overlooked, we left. To be frank, we were the only people of colour there, and the treatment felt uncomfortable enough to raise serious concerns about bias. Whether intentional or not, the experience was unacceptable and deeply disappointing. Would not recommend.

We went twice this week during our vacation. Once for drinks and once for dinner. A super friendly young lady served us both days. Delicious food!!

The place is nice. We only had drinks, but the service wasn’t good. The staff seemed young and not very interested in doing their job. The cherry on top was the bill — it included a few extra drinks that we didn’t order. When I pointed it out to the waitress, she didn’t even bother to apologize for the mistake. So be careful and always check the bill.

Definitely eat here if you want hair in your food

The food was delicious. The dishes were very tasty and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was very cozy and nicely decorated. The staff was friendly! The only downside: the order took 30 minutes to be taken. We had had a long day and were hungry, so the wait was too long, haha. Otherwise, it was great!

Delicious food and excellent service. The music was very loud, but they addressed that at our request. The vegetarian Valentine's Day main course was a truffle pasta; we expected small appetizers, but this was fine. It was a bit of a shame that the full amount had to be paid in advance. This wasn't announced when booking and felt unwelcoming. There's a better way to do this, perhaps by charging a portion of the bill, with an announcement when booking.

We went here for dinner on Saturday with a group of nine women before going to a concert! We almost didn't want to go because the music inside was amazing! But we really had to leave. We had a social deal a la carte and didn't expect the food to be so delicious and beautifully presented—truly amazing! We were a bit pressed for time, but the staff was kind enough to wrap up our dessert! It's my birthday soon and I want to celebrate it there! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 It was so cozy and delicious!

Friendly waiter, warm atmosphere. However, I'm still hesitant about the truffle burger. It tasted more like a Tex-Mex tofu steak than beef. It doesn't match the description, and in any case, the Tex-Mex/truffle combination seems too risky to me.

I had a high cocktail with friends at Restaurant EVE, and it was absolutely fantastic. The appetizers were delicious, and the cocktails were even better. The restaurant is also stylish, atmospheric, and super Instagram-worthy. Perfect for a fun night out with friends, highly recommended!

Drinka very good! The service is friendly the food is 👎the prawn pasta was spicy even though it didn’t state that and it tasted like Mexican spices not Italian, prawns overcooked.

The atmosphere was a solid 10. It's a shame we were placed at the bar without knowing, otherwise I would definitely have chosen something else on Christmas Day. No complaints about the starters and desserts. My tuna was also delicious, but I was shocked by the meager pieces of Black Angus, which were less than 150 grams. The menu stated otherwise. And someone else's drink on our receipt, which was a bit sloppy. All in all, we had a pleasant Christmas Day.

Great restaurant, nice atmosphere inside, and you can also sit outside. Friendly staff, but sometimes it can take a while for them to take your order. The food was good.

Today I enjoyed a lunch platter with a soup to start and various hot and cold treats.

Had to wait a long time for the main course, almost an hour and a quarter; the service was very arrogant. Asked for rare and we got meat that was far too overcooked. Then we paid, and there were all kinds of extra items on the bill when I asked for the receipt. Unfortunately, we had already paid, but we couldn't get that money back unless we sent an email. Very strange. I did that immediately and received a response two weeks later saying they would look into it. Four weeks later, I still haven't received anything.

Walked and waited 45 minutes for a main course, then 30 minutes for dessert. In the end, they took everything off the dessert and I was overcharged because they hadn't taken it off. It can't be refunded and I had to contact customer service and they would transfer the money back. I've been emailing and calling "customer service" for 2 weeks now. They just expect you to just let them have your money here.

Extremely bad service. Waited for a very long time for our orders to be taken and drinks even arrived after our main meal. We were actually about to stand up and leave the restaurant because service took so long.

I sat down there with my partner to have a beer. No one came to take our order, even though the table was literally right next to the bar. I decided to get up, and after 10 minutes they finally paid attention. We wanted a pint of lager, and they told me they only had one size and wanted to serve it in a plastic cup. Meanwhile, I was looking at the glass pint glasses right in front of me, next to the beer tap. I told them I didn't want a plastic cup, that the other tables had glass ones, and they said that was all they had. I don't know if they treated me badly because I'm a foreigner, but it's a shame. The place is very nice, but the service is so bad it doesn't even deserve to be judged!

For my birthday, I tried the lunch platter; it was fine and worth a try. The restaurant is beautifully decorated.

Went for lunch here yesterday, booked via Social Deal. It was really super tasty. The soup to start was delicious. Then we got a tiered stand full of all kinds of different sandwiches and other small dishes. Friendly staff and a nice place and location. We will definitely be back here!

We celebrated our birthdays at Eve's on August 31st (three anniversary celebrations). We received a very warm welcome with snacks and drinks. They had decorated the room for us. Our guests (30) also had everything they needed. Drinks were kept well-stocked, and the snack platters looked beautiful and were well-stocked with hot and cold snacks. And we had two young but very enthusiastic staff members who looked after our group, both with a keen eye for their guests! Compliments!! Phia and Corinna Biksterman, Ed Hoekstra.

I visited this restaurant for lunch on a Saturday with my partner. The atmosphere and interior design are very charming, and the location itself has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, the service did not meet expectations. It took some time for our drink order to be taken, and after receiving our drinks, we had difficulty getting the staff’s attention again. Despite waiting around 30 minutes, no one came to take our food order. In the end, we decided to settle the bill for our drinks and leave, so I cannot comment on the food itself. I truly hope this was just an off day, as the setting is lovely, but the service experience was disappointing.

Service is lacking. We had to beg for attention, even for a lunch menu and a napkin. Moreover, when we complained, they just kept telling us to keep waiting, even though we were ignored multiple times and clearly didn't have anything to eat. They clearly didn't want to work. You pay almost 10 euros for a grilled cheese sandwich; the service should have been at least a bit better.

Dishes well prepared, portions OK. Service poor (not fast, they brought a different drink without mentioning that a specific drink was out of stock). The music was particularly annoying: halfway through it was turned up much louder. When we asked if it could be turned down, the waitress went to arrange it. The music did not go down, but the message was that it couldn't be any quieter than this (even though the music was much quieter at the beginning of the evening).

The food was cold, and there was no light in the restroom. The cafe's design is stunningly beautiful! It's very atmospheric, stylish, and cozy. I recommend it!

We've always been positive, but unfortunately, times change. We went for dinner with six people, but the starter was meager. "Pil pil pil" prawns were five prawns per person. Beef tataki was more sauce than beef. We ordered the house steak medium-grilled four times. Unfortunately, we all received well-done, which I think was grilled, not charcoal-grilled like we'd had before. This was also the case with the salmon. We reported this to the staff, but unfortunately, no response. The staff's enthusiasm was lacking. They used to be enthusiastic and very cheerful in the kitchen, but unfortunately, they're gone. A nice place, but not recommended, a shame.

Very bad tent! Had lunch here last week. Took a club sandwich and it was 2 white rolls with barely any toppings. Complaint made, but nothing was done about it. Worst place I've ever had lunch at. Price-quality is really shocking here.

Today we enjoyed a delicious social deal lunch for two. There wasn't a single downside. You can sit comfortably on a round sofa, at the table and at the bar. You must like music, because it is clearly audible here. The service was smooth and friendly. The lunch package was extensive and versatile. All savory snacks. It was neatly explained what everything was. It is highly recommended to try this arrangement. All in all this is a nice place to come!

Super tent, delicious food, staff are super nice and tidy, top team and certainly Daan is a great person, he has it under control. Daan keep it up, they should be proud of you. Very nice days and a good, loving and healthy 2025 together 👍

The service couldn't be worse. Food didn't arrive for over an hour, even though the kitchen was only busy with our food. Reordered drinks were not delivered, so in order to even order them you had to make an effort to get the staff's attention. The service was very unfriendly. The cutlery was dirty. After we complained about that, we got a new one. The waitress's mood was even worse afterwards. The fries were late. They only went into the deep fryer when the burger had already been ready to serve for 5 minutes. If you can call it a burger. A tiny lettuce leaf, a thick meatball instead of a pattie and served tasteless. Never this restaurant again! It's a shame, the atmosphere was quite nice. But nothing more.

The high tea was okay, not great! The worst thing for me was the service, I think she was a manager because that's how she walked. She was not customer friendly at all and looked very angry at us and replied irritated when I asked something. I didn't feel welcome at all. This is apart from the waitress with glasses, she was really super sweet and an Asian man with an earpiece in who was very customer-friendly and cheerful. A nice restaurant with plenty of seating. Tip: Music was very loud. I went to the toilet and on the stairs you smelled very bad urine. My appetite was immediately ruined. All in all, I won't be coming here again.

Downright bad. After we took our seats, it took almost an hour and a half for the main course to be served. The chicken was raw, steak was so overcooked it was gray. After I said something about this, I waited half an hour for a new plate. This steak was completely black on the outside and still dark red on the inside. During the 2 hours we spent here, not once did anyone come by to order a drink. They just ignore you. And ultimately paying 40 euros per person for this is downright a scam

Wow, am I disappointed. I have now been to every Zaancity tent and have always been satisfied. But this really isn't it, ate at EVE for the first time today and what a mess. Starters were excellent, some already known from the Mail Company menu. After the starter we waited 45 minutes for our main course and in the meantime no one came to check with us whether we needed anything etc. I sat with an empty glass in front of me for half an hour. Well, I got main courses, I had the truffle burger, it was okay but not very impressive. My partner had the meat platter, the steak was ordered medium, it was cooked completely gray and the chicken was still raw in the middle. When we send it back, we get a weird steak in return. A young lady came to us to let us know that it was taking a little longer because they had a new cash register system that not everyone understood. Still no excuse for bad food and bad service. €80 for an unpleasant experience. Don't have to come here anymore

Tough food, microwave pasta, music that was too loud, 3 courses took 6 hours, had to pay almost €100 too much due to a 'mistake'. Never never again.

I found it disappointing. My satay was dry and burnt and there was nothing with it, just a stick with pickles and peanut sauce. My dessert of ice cream with caramel turned out to be just cream. Not to be eaten. When I said something about it, I received no apologies, just a scoop of ice cream in a bowl and the look of a grumpy chef. It was a Social deal promotion 🙈 maybe that's why they don't try so hard. Not worth repeating.

Very nice place with very friendly staff! The food wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either.

Unfortunately the food was always just not good. It was okay, but not that I would say I would go there again. The marinade for the spareribs was nothing special, it wasn't sweet enough I think. You'll get better elsewhere. The fries with parmesan and truffle mayo only had a few very thin strings of truffle mayo, really strange. And the cheese? There were some thin flakes of something on it that could have been cheese, but then again, far too little. At Batavia in Wormer, which has the same owner, you get a lot more sauce and cheese. For dessert I had the Eve coupe: a glass with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, bastogne and caramel sauce. The whipped cream on top was not sweetened and underneath the ice cream was all the sweetness so you had to stir everything together to get a sweet dessert. This turned it into a milkshake because the ice cream melted, perhaps partly because of the heaters that were hanging there because it was very warm. The staff was also friendly.

I thought it would be a wonderful evening out, but unfortunately it was very disappointing. Forgotten dishes, but also wrong dishes. We only got our fries after the main course. Unfortunately I will skip this tent next time. Looks very fancy, but the staff and food are not running smoothly. Unfortunately an expensive evening out, which was disappointing. Very disappointed!
