Very bad tent! Had lunch here last week. Took a club sandwich and it was 2 white rolls with barely any toppings. Complaint made, but nothing was done about it. Worst place I've ever had lunch at. Price-quality is really shocking here.

Today we enjoyed a delicious social deal lunch for two. There wasn't a single downside. You can sit comfortably on a round sofa, at the table and at the bar. You must like music, because it is clearly audible here. The service was smooth and friendly. The lunch package was extensive and versatile. All savory snacks. It was neatly explained what everything was. It is highly recommended to try this arrangement. All in all this is a nice place to come!

Super tent, delicious food, staff are super nice and tidy, top team and certainly Daan is a great person, he has it under control. Daan keep it up, they should be proud of you. Very nice days and a good, loving and healthy 2025 together 👍

Atmospheric atmosphere, great evening

The service couldn't be worse. Food didn't arrive for over an hour, even though the kitchen was only busy with our food. Reordered drinks were not delivered, so in order to even order them you had to make an effort to get the staff's attention. The service was very unfriendly. The cutlery was dirty. After we complained about that, we got a new one. The waitress's mood was even worse afterwards. The fries were late. They only went into the deep fryer when the burger had already been ready to serve for 5 minutes. If you can call it a burger. A tiny lettuce leaf, a thick meatball instead of a pattie and served tasteless. Never this restaurant again! It's a shame, the atmosphere was quite nice. But nothing more.

The high tea was okay, not great! The worst thing for me was the service, I think she was a manager because that's how she walked. She was not customer friendly at all and looked very angry at us and replied irritated when I asked something. I didn't feel welcome at all. This is apart from the waitress with glasses, she was really super sweet and an Asian man with an earpiece in who was very customer-friendly and cheerful. A nice restaurant with plenty of seating. Tip: Music was very loud. I went to the toilet and on the stairs you smelled very bad urine. My appetite was immediately ruined. All in all, I won't be coming here again.

Wow, am I disappointed. I have now been to every Zaancity tent and have always been satisfied. But this really isn't it, ate at EVE for the first time today and what a mess. Starters were excellent, some already known from the Mail Company menu. After the starter we waited 45 minutes for our main course and in the meantime no one came to check with us whether we needed anything etc. I sat with an empty glass in front of me for half an hour. Well, I got main courses, I had the truffle burger, it was okay but not very impressive. My partner had the meat platter, the steak was ordered medium, it was cooked completely gray and the chicken was still raw in the middle. When we send it back, we get a weird steak in return. A young lady came to us to let us know that it was taking a little longer because they had a new cash register system that not everyone understood. Still no excuse for bad food and bad service. €80 for an unpleasant experience. Don't have to come here anymore

Downright bad. After we took our seats, it took almost an hour and a half for the main course to be served. The chicken was raw, steak was so overcooked it was gray. After I said something about this, I waited half an hour for a new plate. This steak was completely black on the outside and still dark red on the inside. During the 2 hours we spent here, not once did anyone come by to order a drink. They just ignore you. And ultimately paying 40 euros per person for this is downright a scam

Tough food, microwave pasta, music that was too loud, 3 courses took 6 hours, had to pay almost €100 too much due to a 'mistake'. Never never again.

I found it disappointing. My satay was dry and burnt and there was nothing with it, just a stick with pickles and peanut sauce. My dessert of ice cream with caramel turned out to be just cream. Not to be eaten. When I said something about it, I received no apologies, just a scoop of ice cream in a bowl and the look of a grumpy chef. It was a Social deal promotion 🙈 maybe that's why they don't try so hard. Not worth repeating.

Unfortunately the food was always just not good. It was okay, but not that I would say I would go there again. The marinade for the spareribs was nothing special, it wasn't sweet enough I think. You'll get better elsewhere. The fries with parmesan and truffle mayo only had a few very thin strings of truffle mayo, really strange. And the cheese? There were some thin flakes of something on it that could have been cheese, but then again, far too little. At Batavia in Wormer, which has the same owner, you get a lot more sauce and cheese. For dessert I had the Eve coupe: a glass with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, bastogne and caramel sauce. The whipped cream on top was not sweetened and underneath the ice cream was all the sweetness so you had to stir everything together to get a sweet dessert. This turned it into a milkshake because the ice cream melted, perhaps partly because of the heaters that were hanging there because it was very warm. The staff was also friendly.

I thought it would be a wonderful evening out, but unfortunately it was very disappointing. Forgotten dishes, but also wrong dishes. We only got our fries after the main course. Unfortunately I will skip this tent next time. Looks very fancy, but the staff and food are not running smoothly. Unfortunately an expensive evening out, which was disappointing. Very disappointed!

We were at the Sunday Eve Dinner Show on Sunday. What an amazing evening we had. Good atmosphere, good food, great service and great artists. We enjoyed it and will definitely come back.

During a visit to Haarlem, I looked on social deal to see if there was a nice restaurant nearby. Finally ended up here and we were both very pleasantly surprised. Nice enthusiastic host, an open kitchen where you can see a chef working with passion on the dishes, a beautiful interior and a cozy terrace with patio heaters. Normally we stick to a main course and a starter or after course, but we both enjoyed 3 courses here. The surf & turf shared platter is highly recommended (see photo). This is the first time that we have booked something through social deal and we both had the feeling that we would like to come back here again.

EVE Attractive restaurant with friendly staff that will make you want to come back to EVE

Music was way too loud! There were speakers everywhere, there was nowhere to sit quietly. A reason for us not to come back. Employees indicated that they were not allowed to turn this down. Starter, the stuffed portobello, was very tasty! My husband had the carnivore hamburger as a main course. This one was disappointing. Lots of strings and hard pieces. Service was great! Very friendly and fast.

-I was a bit disappointed with this lunch etagère The buns were very dry and sparsely topped. A truly unimaginative and highly overpriced dish. NB: I indicated that there was a vegetarian in our party and that was handled very well. +Soup was tasty. Staff super friendly and attentive so that made up for a lot. But this lunch will not be repeated.

I ordered a steak with stewed pears and red wine sauce. Instead I got a tough shoe sole with fish sauce and zero pears. I was later offered the correct sauce in a little bowl next to the dish. A bit disappointing, considering the prices. The drinks were good though.

Went here for lunch on Easter Sunday. We were kindly received with a mimosa cocktail and the service was very smooth, super nice and good. The Easter etagierre contained more than enough food and tasted great to us and the tomato soup was also tasty. The live music was provided by John Keijer and that gave the lunch an extra festive touch. We will definitely go here again!

Beautiful location. Excellent food and drink. Nice music thanks to a DJ in the shop. The downside was the wood-matured wine that we were advised, which turned out not to be wood-matured at all. Later in the evening I tasted two wines, made a choice, and then received another bottle. Turns out the one we wanted was no longer in stock. A bit sloppy.

This was a delicious lunch etagère at EVE. In the heart of Zaandam on Dam Square. It was a super Social Deal. The service was very friendly. This top deal is worth a try. A nice time to have lunch. Reservations can be made from 12:30 PM - 4:00 PM. This deal is valid until March 31, 2024. This lunch etagère can also be ordered without a Social Deal. It is stated on the menu. Paid parking in the area. Easily accessible by public transport.

Had both a beer and a cocktail here. Nice decor and nice service. Perfect if you fancy a drink and a good time.

It looked so nice when I walked by. Upon entering, my eye fell on the burger, this burger cannot be described in one word, because great is actually not enough! A taste sensation that now makes me detour almost every week to enjoy this delicious burger. In addition, the staff is really great, in these times of personnel shortage that is really something to mention. Summarized in one sentence, if you are in the area, you must try this once! Mediocre food and poor service. There was only one waitress and she was clearly struggling with the amount of customers present. Manager just seemed to be standing around doing nothing. It took about 10 minutes to order drinks and another 10 to actually receive them. After that no one came to take our food order until I flagged someone down myself because it was taking so long. Food itself was nothing to write home about. Poor ingredients and lack of sauce on everything. I'm also pretty sure I watched the headchef(?) touch dirty surfaces around the restaurant, use his phone/laptop, then touch meat without washing hands first. Definitely felt like I wasn't welcome and won't be coming back.

Eve's furnishings are very nice! However, the food is nothing to write home about. The eggs on the egg benedict were hard-boiled. That is not how it should be! Lettuce on the bun was not fresh but rather wilted. Shame!

After moving about 100 ft to the other side of the square we thought it was time to visit the rebranded EVE. The concept slightly changed. No more shared dining, but as we wanted to try as much possible from the new menu, we let our waitress (great service Julia) choose a number of dishes from the 'inbetweens' to share. We liked them all, but the ceviche from seabass, ribfingers and 'vispannetje' were our favourites. Definitely worth a visit!

Food and service were okay, we thought it was too expensive, they are now working with a concept of “in between” dishes, which are actually large tapas for the price of a main course. We were served by young inexperienced girls, all in all we found the atmosphere and concept a bit soulless.

Could be 5 stars for everything, but the music was too loud(the principal point, was we could not talk because of the sound) the chef didn't pay attention to the request, and I'm allergic to paprika and pepper, 01 of the 04 dishes we requested came row and with paprika and pepper (Iberico rib fingers). We would like to give 5 stars, but the restaurant needs to improve some negative points. The Ceviche came without venkel they put spitskool.

Very nice place to eat and have a drink. The concept is shared dining so little bites to a surprise menu for 4 with 8 dishes is 78 I believe so around Eur 20 a person. The personnel is friendly good fast service drinks took a little longer then the food but we ordered cocktails so that's maybe why. I would choose a seat a little further from the entrance of the bar as the music can be a little louder. After we asked it was turned down a little. We were there on a Saturday evening but if I could give a suggestion is turn the music a little lower so people can talk and understand each other maybe a little better. We were seated next to the speakers so that might also be why it was louder. I do like the place and I definitely will be back for a drink and a bite. Its a good new addition to Zaandam for a nice evening out. Edit I know they have changed the concept so no new experience

Nice spot on the terrace, nice waitress who clearly enjoys her work, delicious food and fast service, great! We were there for the second time.

I made a reservation there for 17 people. This was handled kindly and quickly. Lots of different smaller dishes that were just the right size and tasted delicious. The service was cheerful, worked hard and was there quickly when you needed them. I know where I will eat with a group next time.

Service is good, but food is of much lower quality. Capaccio discolored, little taste and spring rolls, basically just dough and almost no vegetables to be found. So no reason to come back or recommend to others.

Nice meal, pity that the mackerel rillete was not there. The beet carpaccio was a bit too sweet due to too much honey and the same sauce was often used on different dishes. Nevertheless, everything was tasty and of good quality. It's a shame for us that it is an all you can eat concept, because we are both not big eaters. The service was fine. Attentive, good system with turning the light to red when you need the controls. I accidentally knocked over my half drunk glass of wine, which was quickly noticed and cleared away and I was given a new half glass from the company. Although there is no Irish coffee on the menu, a perfect one was made upon request, also without whipped cream, because it requires whipped cream. Unfortunately, you hardly come across that anymore. All in all a great experience in a beautiful atmosphere.

Delicious food. Nice service who walked around enough to see if you wanted to order anything. The only pity is that the portions are sometimes very large while others are smaller. The nachos cheese, for example. This could have been a slightly smaller portion, and it would still be more than fine. All in all we had a good meal and will definitely go back again as soon as there is a new menu.

What friendly staff works at Eve. I had a really nice evening with a friend. The cocktails were of very good quality and so were the snacks. I will definitely come back here again! What was also nice was that there was heating outside so you could sit outside in the evening. :)

The food is okay but not special. At one point you also saw that the service was too busy. Long wait for the order to be taken and even longer wait for your food. Not worth repeating for us.

I was super enthusiastic about the concept and was really looking forward to eating here. I found it a bit disappointing. The service was friendly. The dishes we ate were fine, but not really special. You may order 2 dishes per person per round. But we had to wait an average of 30-45 minutes for our dishes. And that's quite a long time. Tables were very small. I won't be going back to this anytime soon unfortunately.

Great place to have something to eat, very large, deep to the back... toilets very clean. The food... every dish was tasty and fresh. I think that crème brulee should not be missing from dessert. Staff was friendly, prompt. Location is also great, there is always a parking space. Go there again but this time I eat outside. My daughter is dark, I like open and fresh.

Very friendly service. Had a lovely meal outside on the terrace. All you can eat concept where you can order the dishes from the waiter. It sometimes took a little longer before they came by again, but the advantage is that you don't have to leave the table. The size of the dishes varied quite a bit, some were a bit too big in my opinion. All in all a good meal.

Nice concept and something different from the abundance of AYCE sushi places. The food tastes great and there is something for everyone to choose from. The only criticism I do have is the option to only choose 2 items at a time. If you are a big eater, this may be a bit too sparse. And perhaps I was unlucky at that moment with the fries from the loaded frites rendang. These were quite too salty for my taste. In contrast to the loaded fries with truffle. For the rest, I received an excellent first impression of EVE.
