A lovely little restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and excellent service. The food was fresh and delicious. We were very satisfied; a highly recommended and stylish restaurant. 👍

Great service and a pleasant atmosphere. Prices are a bit high for the portion sizes, especially the prawns, but the waiter was kind and very helpful.

We just stumbled upon this gem. The Food was super delicious Every thing was freshly prepared in an open kitchen bursting with flavours. The service was top notch our server sanjeel was very attentive. The ambience and decor was extremely pleasant and pretty.

Giving 1 star because waitress denied entry just because I was alone, even though restaurant was empty at 7 pm. Her excuse was kitchen can’t handle too many orders. What a joke. Disgusting

Near Chinatown. Stopped in for supper. Ordered a bottle of Pinataro Primitivo to split. Owner was honest and said there is one chef and the food may take a bit, hence the bottle of wine. One order of spring rolls, fresh Thai basil chicken and pad Thai noodle chicken. Four other tables were there while we were. Low light and quaint. The owner was very friendly and did a nice job serving everyone as timely as possible. The food hit the spot and was toward the spicy side. We do love spicy and could have done more but it was still delicious. The wine was a great pick. Everything was wonderful! We would stop in again.

Such a sweet little thai spot in the middle of amsterdam centre. We ordered the noodles ans green curry with rice. Every dish was authentic tasting and flavorful. The decor and ambiance was cool and felt super cozy on a slightly chilly summer night. Highly recommend! The staff was super professional and helpful.

Very slow service followed by very bland food. Whenever I go to a Thai restaurant, I order chicken Penang curry, this was so bland that I asked the waitress three times if she was sure that she brought me the right dish. The menu said it was SUPPOSED to have chili peppers and Thai eggplant. This had pineapple and tomatoes which I have never gotten.They insisted I was wrong. My son ordered beef Pad Thai which was also flavorless.

It was great fun, so Dutch language would be nice in the Netherlands.

The food was absolutely delicious. And that's coming from someone who's usually very picky and doesn't eat much. The servers were also extremely nice. One of the best experiences I had in Amsterdam.

I can't say anything negative. The food was incredibly delicious, well seasoned (not too spicy), and cooked thoroughly. There was no hair in the food or anything else. The service wasn't super fast, but hey, we're in Amsterdam. I'll definitely recommend it.

The building where the King of Siam is located is worth a visit alone. The decoration and the pleasant atmosphere bring you to Thailand. We enjoyed it.

We waited a really long time, even though there weren't many people there. Then a curry arrived that consisted only of fat and tofu, without any vegetables. I can't recommend it.

Mooi ingericht restaurant, centraal gelegen. Vriendelijke en gemoedelijke sfeer en bediening. Als liefhebbers van de Thaise keuken vinden we dit restaurant tot nu toe de beste die we geprobeerd hebben en gaan zeker nog een keer terug.

Although we arrived shortly after the restaurant opened, when we asked, we only received our main courses after an hour and a half - some of them were only lukewarm. There was a hair in one of our meals - in short: we were annoyed that we were in there. The food itself was tasty, but the annoyance prevailed.

The food was delicious, 5 of us came and we recommend the dish with chicken, mango and mushrooms! The soups were also super good, the service impeccable.

What a disappointing experience!! We went there to eat the best Thai food trusting the Google reviews!! Disappointing food, very late service, rude manager!! We ordered the mix starter plate for 2 which was ok! Duck curry was undercooked, duck was very chewy. We complained and sent the plate back to the kitchen. No one approached us to apologise and no one offered a replacement. At the end we asked for the check expecting the duck to be deducted, which was not. I asked the manager. He said that he cannot deduct it and we have to pay for it. I paid. He went to the kitchen came back yelling at us that we ate the duck and there were only 4 pieces left when we returned the plate!!! He was very very rude!! And he said what I think is not important because the restaurant is full and I should just walk away!!!! What a bad experience.

Extremely kind, attentive and efficient welcome and service. Tasty and well-recommended dishes according to everyone's tastes, depending on the level of spice. Well-proportioned quantity. Neither too much nor too little... for good forks! Excellent value for money.

Big portions with reasonable pricing. The flavors of the food can use more spice. The hours on google are wrong though, we thought they open at 12 on Friday but they actually open at 6pm. Quite a difference

The food was mostly delicious. We had starters and three main courses. However, the service leaves something to be desired in terms of speed and hospitality. Advice on a vegetarian curry was already too much for the service staff. For one main course we explicitly ordered mild and received spicy. Unfortunately, they didn't respond to it at all, just shrugged their shoulders. It's a shame, it could be better.

Wir hatten online reserviert und auch bei der Ankunft direkt einen Tisch bekommen. Sehr chic das Restaurant und das Personal sehr freundlich. Rotes Thai Curry mit Hähnchen und gebratenen Reis war unsere Wahl und es wahr sehr lecker. Das einzige zu bemängeln war die lange Wartezeit von 1 Stunde bis das Essen kam.

Very good time with the family, delicious dish we opted for pad thai and chicken with cashew nuts. For dessert, mango sticky rice. Everything was delicious, well cooked and the staff pleasant. All with careful decor.

VERY SLOW. It took 30 minutes to get the soup and another 25 after that for the main. The Tom Yam soup was just ok. The beef and the shrimp on the main dishes were both under cooked

This was a very spontaneous dinner visit for my partner and I, and we were absolutely blown away. Exceptional food, service and ambience. We arrived when the restaurant was relatively busy but we were still seen very quickly. Our waitress, Rebecca, was very friendly, attentive and simply a delight to talk to. The food tasted very authentic with the perfect balance of flavours and original Thai ingredients used. The tofu pad thai is the best me and my partner have ever tried outside of northern Thailand. The tom kha had depths of flavour yet felt light on the palate. Each dish is prepared with genuine care and to the highest quality. For us, this place embodies the true essence of Thai cooking. Highly recommend!

Good food, nice servers & owner, great location but painstakingly slow kitchen. Took an hour for the chicken pad thai & veggie curry.

Pad tai was the worst I have ever had. It was weird when we sat down, the table had plates and napkins on them. The waitress came over and took the napkins and plates. When our food came, we had to ask for napkins. The drinks were late coming out too. Restaurant was nice but food and service not so good.

One of the best Thai restaurants I have ever eaten at. Delicious food, beautiful interior and such a warm and friendly welcome. The food is prepared with love. Full of beautiful flavors. I will definitely come back here and you should too 😁

What a shame about a beautiful restaurant: the environment is good, but the service tonight on Wednesday August 14 is indifferent. Food really below par. We also indicated that the shrimps were overcooked and the spring rolls had no taste at all. Pad Thai downright bad: unfried vegetables (chinese cabbage), overcooked rice, etc. Nothing was done with our feedback. Unbelievable. Reason to never go back.

Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra visita a este restaurante amable y muy bien decorado. El servicio fue excelente con la camarera siendo servicial y atento. Su inglés era excelente y ella estaba feliz de responder a nuestras preguntas sobre el menú. La comida era deliciosa y no había problema para que pidiéramos platos para compartir para que pudiéramos probar más del menú. Estaba en una bonita ubicación junto a un canal en el casco antiguo de Ámsterdam, a pocos pasos de la parada de tranvía en la estación central.

Food was good but we waited 15 minutes to take order, a further 45 minutes for starter and then a further 30 minutes for main. The (lack of) service spoilt the food.

Quite expensive for what it is Great ambience, dimly lit restaurant with candle lights and decor of a Dutch warehouse Food: 1. Chicken pad Thai - poorly seasoned, no wok hei and minimal oil. Not good. 2. Penang curry - decent flavour and good quality chicken, however minimal vegetables or other condiments... Very lacking. Service Above X2 dishes took 30 minutes, they had 1 poor chef trying to manage the orders but the restaurant wasnt too busy. Overall not a good food experience but great to impress with ambience.

The best Thai food outside of Thailand. It was to die for. We ordered the tofu pad Thai and the tofu red curry to share between two. It was out of this world. We sat at the outdoor table by the canal which was lovely. The interior of the restaurant is also beautiful and very atmospheric. Will 100% be coming back next time we are in Amsterdam! Thank you to our waitress Rebecca, who was so kind and beautiful, she made sure everything was perfect, and it was!

Aan het begin van de walletjes (gezien vanaf centraal station) is dit restaurant. We zaten beneden, geen daglicht maar wel knus ingericht. Geen uitgebreide kaart maar, wat erop staat is wel erg lekker. Ook niet de goedkoopste, maar je krijgt zeker waar voor je geld. Vriendeljk personeel. Dus zeker aan te bevelen.

Positive things: Food ok, decore is nice and waiters smiling Negative things: Chef without hand gloves, noodles in plastic bag used for groceries, menu not very clear and plates were dirty (had to change twice)

Vraiment une bonne surprise en particulier avec Siam tam entrée variée (7 spécialités) et ensuite magret de canard sauce curry extraordinaire et pas trop piquant malgré ce qui est mis. A refaire!

Located down a relatively quiet street for a Saturday night, this was an absolute find. So nice to come into a beautiful and calm restaurant with a friendly welcome and beautifully Thai inspired interior. We visited as a group of 3 friends who have eaten Thai on numerous occasions but asked lots of questions about recommendations, spice etc. The waitress was extremely knowledgeable about the food and helpful. We settled on the sharing starter for 2 and 3 different mains - a mango chicken, prawn green curry and red curry. It was just absolutely stunning. The selection of starters were beautifully described by our waitress and every one beautiful. Overall the tastes of all the dishes were sublime. Just perfect. It’s not cheap, but on this occasion you absolutely get what you pay for. Starters, mains and wine came to 50 euros per person. Would highly recommend.

The restaurant is very pretty but the service was slow and inattentive, although polite. The food didn't make us ill or anything but we ordered a Penang and fried rice and both were extremely bland and the Penang sauce arrived to the table already separated and very oily. I wouldn't recommend it.

Cozy thai place with exelent service and Yummi cuisine

Visited for dinner with my girlfriend. The staff was really nice, however the service was veeerry slow. We had to wait a really long time to get our dishes. The food wasn’t that good: a bit saltless and bland. Didn’t taste much like original Thai food and the portions were quite small for the price.

Very nice restaurant! Staff are very friendly and prompt. The beef pad Thai was some of the best we've had in Amsterdam. The Tom kha kai was good and the Siam appetizer platter was a nice mix of things. Overall very good and we plan to come back.

The Cashew Chicken was the best I’ve ever had, but the entire meal and my food was spoiled by their cavalier treatment of a black customer, who they seemed determined to ignore. He very obviously knew Thai food well, but it took them more than 10 minutes to even serve him the glass of water he ordered, let alone his food. I had ordered immediately before he arrived, yet mine was served and eaten before any sign of his had appeared. He politely left and told them they had taken too long. I was, quite honestly enraged, but he said “Don’t worry, Sir- I am used to it”. Well, this restaurant needs to up its game and make sure that a customer doesn’t ever, ever have to feel so disrespected again.

Zeer warme, charmante decor met een verhaal. Het eten was best wel snel klaar en je kan door de open keuken ook meekijken naar hoe het eten bereid wordt. De garnalen en kip met cashew zijn een aanrader! Niet duur ook. Bediening is netjes en houdt rekening met je :) We komen zeker terug!

This has always been one of my favorite Thai restaurants right in the middle of Amsterdam. Have to admit there was a period where the food wasn’t as good as usual. However, I decided to give it another try and I was happy I did. The door was tasty and the personnel is friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant has always been cozy and, small but very typical. Prices are affordable and the dishes are presented with taste. Just be papered to smell like a fried shrimp for the rest of the evening ;)

I had a really good food experience here. The green curry was nice and spicy with proper Thai ingredients. Lovely Thais fish cookies as well. This place has been here for ages, and will be around for ages and is not just for tourists.

Un restaurante Thai con encanto en el centro de Amsterdam. Dispone de menús degustación que te permitirán saborear diferentes platos de gran calidad. Muy buena la comida y un ambiente muy tranquilo. Los dueños responden con amabilidad a las diferentes cuestiones que les preguntes. El pato, sencillamente, espectacular! Un MUST en cada viaje a Amsterdam.
