Perfect place for dinner in the area. Staff is always helpful and smiling. Plenty of vegetarian options. I got the yellow curry and it was fantastic. Plenty of seating. Come here for an enjoyable experience.

I haven't been for a while, but the food (takeaway) was great!! Both chicken and beef dishes.

Ordered food and picked it up myself. Perfectly on time and neatly packed. Dishes: Thai Chicken Satay/Spring Rolls and prawn crackers were tasty. But the Pad Thai Kai was really not good (sour; a spoiled taste). We threw it away (17.50 in the trash). Complained about this in a review to Pasoek and indicated that they could contact me. They didn't do that; hence this public review.

Ordered red curry with fried noodles and waited 1.45 hours for the delivery after the agreed delivery time. And called Pasoek twice during that time, but was just brushed off. No, bad experience.

I had Yam Nua delivered to my home. I had had this before (I think a year ago) and it was very good back then. I wonder what happened in the meantime. It doesn't come close to the authentic version they used to make. Finely chopped onions, cabbage (?), carrot (?) and large chunks of tomato. And small pieces of meat. The sauce was very sweet and bland. And even though I had indicated it spicy, the dish wasn't spicy. I couldn't find a single red chili pepper either. It is a real shame that this was such a disappointment. I can make it better myself.

Delucious Green Curry! Extensive menu and great service.

If you go early there is not a wait for a table, but it fills up quick later in the evening. It takes a little time to get food, but it is so worth it! Absolutely delicious, I ate it all!!!

This is the last time I'll be getting food from here. Orders are almost always wrong. Orders arrive incomplete, and in my experience, the staff doesn't seem to care.

Great service, quiet and the food was delicious!

This isn't going well... Months have passed since then. Everything is working fine again. We don't order often, and we get the feeling the chef either changes the ingredients from the same menu, or that a different chef works regularly. In my opinion, it's not consistent. One star more, but there's room for improvement. (Still 1000x better than a burger at a well-known Asian supermarket) The food (ordered a vegetarian dish with extra vegetables) is good, but last time it was noticeable that the portions were noticeably smaller. AND, the food was almost cold. The tempura shrimp were greasy and cold. While I expected better food for €40. It's a real shame that things are going downhill again.

I had a delicious meal at Restaurant Pasoek. The staff are very friendly. I had the Pad Thai and the Kai Krapauw. Both were delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, and I'll be back soon.

Old and tasteless food. On November 8, 2025, I ate with a friend at Thai restaurant Pasoek in Amsterdam Noord. The fish cakes (€9.95 for 4 thin cakes) were salty and completely saturated with frying fat. They were dark brown and tasted salty—and also tasted like spoiled frying oil. Such a shame. We also had Pad Thai fish and Pad Thai chicken. Both Pad Thais were completely saturated with oil and tasted only sweet and greasy, and otherwise completely bland. The fish in the Pad Thai fish was fresh and delicious. The chicken in the Pad Thai chicken (€19.50) was cold, tasteless, and some pieces had a slightly spoiled aftertaste. The price at the restaurant was reasonable, and the Pad Thai portions were also sufficient. The service was friendly but inexperienced and slow. We had to wait an hour for our main course, even though the restaurant was almost empty. One or two older women with sad and tired looks were working in the kitchen. The restaurant was dark and poorly lit, and everything looked worn and dated. My friend wanted to take her leftover Pad Thai fish home, and they added 80 cents to the bill for the plastic container. I quickly went home to rinse my mouth.

I love it so much 🥹🥺 the food and the service is amazing! I ordered Tom Yum and Pad Kee Mao! The Pas Kee Mao portion is just “perfect” not too big, not too small. For Tom Yum I hope there is a bigger portion 🤣 I want to eat big big portions of Tom Yum 🤣 Overall is just amazing and lekker! 🤤 Oh also the Thai Milk Tea is also lekker! 🤤

The food was yummy awesome! The waitress are nice and warm (love their smile)! As someone who come from asia, I recommend this restaurant! Surely will back here to dine in! Yummy! 🤩

A friend made a reservation for us. Upon arriving at the restaurant on October 20th at 6:00 PM, we were told the gas wasn't working. We should have been informed. The reservation includes a phone number and email address, right? Such a shame!

Delicious Thai food in Amsterdam North. Went again for takeout on August 29, 2025, after a long break. New faces behind the counter were very friendly, and the ordering and delivery process has improved considerably. The interior has also been significantly renovated. Keep up the good work! The food was delicious!

am completely disappointed! 😱 I have eaten at this restaurant several times, but my last visit was terrible. I ordered a green curry, but it turned out to be yellow curry. On top of that, I ordered shrimps with oyster sauce and vegetables for €20, and there were ONLY 7 shrimps in the dish—it was mostly vegetables! If I had known I’d be eating more vegetables than shrimps, I would have just ordered a vegetable dish and paid less. Oh, and one last thing: charging €0.50 for a small plastic bag is disgusting 🤮. I do not recommend eating at this restaurant.

Delicious Thai takeout, as usual! Authentic Thai ladies in the kitchen making delicious dishes. I had the Yam Nau and Keng Kai; always excellent. It was delicious again! Thanks!

Orders often got missed or mixed up. Delivery usually takes forever. We had to cancel our order eventually after waiting for more than 1.5 hours. Food is good but not worth the wait.

Good Restaurant! They did swap out the fresh Pineapple for canned Pineapple in the Red Curry which is a shame. Please bring back the fresh Pineapple!!

I am in this area every 6-8 weeks and make it a point to eat here every time. I eat off the vegetarian menu and the food is great everytime. The service is polite and quick. Everyone who works there is always so nice.

I’ve been here two times. First time was an intimate dinner and second time was for a birthday with a group of friends. Both times enjoyed the food and the service so much! Best Thai in Amsterdam! We went to Pasoek with a big group for a birthday, and it was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The waitress was really kind and made the experience even better. Our table setup was great, and the whole atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

I had the green curry here, and it was way too spicy. I had severe stomach pain for about three days and could barely eat anything else without feeling completely sick.

Ordered food using Thuisbezorgd: - green curry (Keng kiou waan kai) - fish cookies (Tod man plaa). Within hours of eating the meal I developed symptoms of food poisoning. Would not recommend ordering from this place, there seems to be an issue with hygiene. I'm contacting the restaurant tomorrow to see how they can solve this.

Ordered Spring rolls, got a standard portion from Promo Cash & Carry. Was very dissapointed. Thom Kha soup had only mushroom and shrimps inside. Not worth the value I paid.

Tasty dishes and nice waitresses. BUT there was a notice: „Service is not included in the bill.“ Let’s be honest and fair, you (the owner) as the employer should have provided proper salaries to your employees. And it’s totally fine to cover these costs with higher prices. Why do you try to make the customers feel bad if they don’t tip? I find it inappropriate. Especially we are not in North America.

Placed a large order, delivery was on time. Unfortunately, all the soups had opened and several containers of food became wet. Everything was crammed into 1 plastic bag, which didn't fit at all. After reporting this complaint, it was handled well, unfortunately we had to wait more than an hour for the food. Very unfortunate!!

The rice was cold and dry, as if it had been ready for hours without any effort to warm it up. It lacked any kind of seasoning, which made it feel like I was just eating tasteless grains. The chicken wasn't much better. The meat was dry, tough and completely devoid of flavor, as if it had been prepared without any attention. No seasoning, no sauce, no gravy – just dry, tasteless pieces of chicken that were impossible to enjoy.

Don’t know how the food is but the owners are some of the nastiest people I’ve met, lacking even a shred of basic human empathy…

The best Thai in Amsterdam, in my opinion, with an unsurpassed Pad Thai and Paneng Nua. Also order the sticky mango rice for dessert, it is small but very rich and divinely delicious. TIP: don't have your food delivered. Delivery takes 1.5 to 2 hours, while if you pick up it will be prepared steaming fresh within 15 minutes.

9 euros for well-cooked old fish cakes and 16 euros for a green curry with frozen vegetables that is milder than the average bag of paprika chips, what a disappointing meal and nothing to do with what makes Thai cuisine so delicious.

Very authentic Thai restaurant. It’s mom and pops type of place where the mom and her daughters serve the food. It’s not the fastest service, but it is certainly worth every minute.

Fantastisch authentieke Thaise keuken. Heerlijk gegeten. Jammer dat ze niet in alle postcodegebieden van Amsterdam-Noord bezorgen. Maar de kwaliteit maakt het ophalen van de maaltijd meer dan waard.

Eten was heerlijk, personeel was ook enorm klantvriendelijk en zo'n gezellige sfeer!! Hier zal ik zeker vaker komen eten!

Its a great restaurant to visit and dine in person. My wife and I ate there a few times and were never disappointed. Ordering for delivery however has always been a terrible gamble. Especially fried rice. If you don't leave any instructions on spice levels, you get the blandest Thai food of your life. If you ask them to make it spicy, they'll pour heaps of soy sauce and pack it up for you. As a lover of Thai food, It is particularly disappointing when a restaurant can't stick to a good base level of spice and understand when the customer wants it spicier.

Lekker gegeten! We hadden de loempia’s, sate, inktvis en eend en het was niet alleen erg lekker maar het was er ook snel. Wij komen zeker terug om ook de rest te proberen. Ook erg fijn dat het vlees halal is

Kom/bestel hier al jaren, laatste tijd Wisselende kwaliteit en laatste keer echt niet goed. Rode curry eend had geen smaak, de beef salade was niet zoals ie altijd geweest is en smaakte vooral naar vis! Nu toch maar eens op zoek naar een alternatief.

The food was amazing and the service was wonderful. The employees are so nice and very kind. We had a group of 10 and they moved tables around to accommodate us. The food was wonderful I had the Masamann Chicken Curry and it was delicious. The Chicken soup is also delicious especially if you had some spice to it.

Matige ervaring. Bediening was vriendelijk. Wel wat minpunten zoals niet voorverwarmde borden en ook niet goed schoon, zaten nog vettige plekken op en ook wat hoekjes afgebroken.
