Always our go to! Right around the corner, the most cozy and welcoming place! I usually just grab to go as I live close by but also the atmosphere is great. Have been going there for le last 5 years and let me tell you something, IT NEVER DISAPPOINTS!

The fish cakes and green curry were both delicious, with generous portions! Had a great meal here with a friend. The food was delicious—I especially recommend the fish cake.

If you got some really friendly Thai street vendors and plucked them out of their carts in Thailand and placed them in the heart of Amsterdam, this is exactly what you would get. Authentic and tasty food at extremely reasonable prices, and friendly service from great people! My boyfriend and I came craving Thai food, and felt like we were back in Thailand!

Super delicious massaman curry, tom khakai soup, and fried chicken. Everything here is truly delicious, and the people who work there are friendly.

Ordered on Uber Eats - the food took 3 hours to deliver and it was soggy and poor quality. We called them twice, first time they said it’s coming soon which was a lie, second time they apologised and admitted their mistake, but they never bothered to call us to let us know it’s being held up. I will be avoiding in the future

As a neighbor I regularly get takeout here and am always satisfied. I usually go for the chicken cashew, highly recommended, full of flavor. Tonight I tried something different: pad Thai and green curry. Both also incredibly tasty! For a good price you just get good food here. Great that such a gem is literally around the corner!

I ordered pat krapau Gai and they delivered to me tofu with vegetables full of soup like sauce which I hate to eat. How can be mistaken fried basil chicken with soups like tofu without taste. What a people.

Literally get old food. Old fried rice and old chicken meat fried with fresh vegetables. I have never done this before, but I will 100% report this to the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA). Shame on people for daring to serve such food.

Their food made me sick! Do not order here! Five minutes after eating I started feeling nauseous and then vomited violently. Hygiene is clearly not in order. After I had recovered a bit, I submitted a request for a refund via Thuisbezorgd. The restaurant refused. When I called for clarification, a heated discussion immediately ensued. The woman on the phone demanded a doctor's note as proof. That's absurd — you don't go to the doctor if you know you have food poisoning and your body just has to get rid of it and you have to wait until you feel better again? She started raising her voice and was completely unreasonable - calling me a liar etc, a very angry, unfriendly energy. This is not the Thai hospitality I am used to. If you sell spoiled food and it makes someone sick, the least you can do is apologize and compensate. Not only did the spoiled food not help me, it also made me quite ill, making me feel really bad.

friendly ladies, but you don't get a cup with your drink and no service at the table, imo: better to pick up. Food was ok 6/10, well seasoned but meat too dry and well done, with two different dishes.

My favourite place to order pad thai delivery from. Great prices, incredible food and fast delivery. The staff is also very accommodating with any requests you have.

Waited longer than an hour for the food. God knows what the delivery person did with the containers, but everything arrived wet and dented. The fish cakes were thrown into a bag and were completely wet with moisture and oil. The rice was mushy and inedible. Everything was thrown in the trash. If I had known that Thaiking was a former wok on fire, I would not have ordered it anyway.

It was crap, they didn't even give me a glass to drink it in, and the food looked like rice pudding that was a bit overcooked, it tasted like it had been stored and smelled bad, only hidden by the smell of the candy, disgusting, really. And on top of that, it was expensive.

Delicious Thai food, only the portions and what you get differs every time. They also always forget the sambal when ordering, even though you explicitly ask for it when ordering and after calling.

Ordered food online and picked it up myself, and it was ready fairly quickly! I didn't think Pad Thai was very special, but it was a perfectly good spice! Fried rice, on the other hand, was really not tasty and sticky.

Delicious food cooked authentically, in comparison to Busaba Eathai in London for taste. Amazing will be back. Clearly those people leaving one star reviews are vying for sympathy and a free meal. Food is delicious, succulent and great level of spice variation between dishes.

Have ordered food 4 times now since april. It is realy good and brings back the taste of Thai food of the holiday. Like having dinner in Thailand! The new owner realy gave it a quality boost. For me Best Thai food in Amsterdam!

First time visiting Thai King. Very neat, clean place with lovely ladies working. Online order was ready quickly. Picked up food, everything was super hot and the tom yam tofu was really great! The kau phad kee mau is also highly recommended. Meat was well prepared, and both dishes were delicious with a good spice level. Just what I was looking for! Portions were generous. I can eat it 2/3 times by myself. I will definitely come by more often :)

The worst food I've ordered in Amsterdam. There are no sauces, everything is dry, the noodles are cold and sticky, the rice is overcooked and completely bland, the chicken is dry, there is absolutely no salt, gyoza is just an overcooked piece of dough with a small shrimp. The soup contained only onions and peppers, no vegetables, pepper-flavored water. Ruined the evening.

Good food, done quickly enough, by a nice staff. All you need to have a nice experience, and not too pricey.

Tasty, authentic, cheap, large portions, for 20 euros you have a main course, side dish and drink. They also have vegetarian options and are halal.

Woww, I just picked up a dish at Thai King for the first time. What immediately struck me was the nice and helpful staff. This name exactly matches expectations, the food is super tasty and plentiful! Delicious fresh rice with steak strips, various vegetables, cashew nuts, and the sauce is also perfect. Apart from the super friendly and nice service of On and Pat, the food was absolutely delicious. I had a soup with curry, mushrooms and prawns, chicken spring rolls and their famous pad thai, which i reccommend having 100%. Great experience !

these three stars are only awarded thanks to the radiant lady with pearly white veneers serving us. she was fantastic. the food however was nauseating. the tom kha kai was mainly white onion and out of the two curries ordered only one was half way edible. my friends and i were left feeling like we had to throw up due to immense nausea and were worried about food poisoning in our near future.

Beetje aan de prijzige kant, mogen wel iets meer groentes in de noodle dishes. Grotere stukken vlees zijn een beetje droog, verder is het wel op smaak. En zitten er een beetje rode ui, bosui, koriander, tauge en limoenpartje bij.

Heerlijke noodles zeer vriendelijke mevrouw en meneer 5 sterren zeker weten!
