The food tasted fine, but the service was very slow even though it wasn't busy at all. 🍴 We never received cutlery, even though the waiter said he was going to get it. So we didn't get a napkin either. On top of that, the tiramisu was sold out... 😑 All very disappointing...

Had a very delicious meal on Monday evening. It was quiet, so we were able to get a table right away. The service was very friendly and everything was served quickly. Super cozy interior and nice music!

All praise to the guys in the kitchen who were working hard! The owner could learn a thing or two from them. He was sitting on the terrace enjoying pizza and wine. We had to wait an incredibly long time before our drinks were taken, and then we had to wait again for our food. We were never asked if we wanted another drink, even though our glasses were definitely empty after the starter. Pizzas were brought by a guy from the kitchen. He was also walking around sighing because other tables hadn't been cleared. Unfortunately, we didn't receive any cutlery or a question about whether we wanted another drink. Because the owner was sitting outside enjoying himself. What a shame for such a nice place with potential! A few years ago, they had things better organized.

Good pizza with friendly service.

Expensive pizzas for what you get. Not a large pizza. Not much topping. We were seated in a secluded area. But it smelled burnt every time. Flies. The taste of the pizza was okay.... We were still hungry afterwards. The waitress was nice, though. The rest of the restaurant looked neat.

The service was slow, and the pizzas were not tasty. We will not be coming back.

Extremely bad service, extremely rude owner, DID NOT bring the order and when i was trying to ask for my money back and order the owner hanged up on me and newer answered back again. My money is stolen and no order given.

My brother and I were planning to end our day in Apeldoorn on Thursday evening nicely at De Pizzabakkers using a Social Deal. As a starter, we were served focaccia with homemade pesto, truffle sauce, and olive oil. I had to explicitly ask the waiter what it was when they placed it down, because they wanted to walk away immediately after putting it down. The dips weren't particularly strong in flavor. A shame, but the focaccia itself was top-notch. Deliciously crispy, nice and warm, and a little salty. The main course service took way too long. At one point, my brother just went to ask where it was, to which he was told that it should be arriving soon, as someone had just asked about it. Huh? Anyway, 1.5 hours after we had sat down, we finally received our Funghi & Pepperoni da Noi pizzas. These were a bit sparsely topped – possibly because we had a Social Deal...? I had a 1/2 ball of burrata (had expected it because nothing was on the menu) and also not as much pepperoni as I would have expected. The pizzas themselves were tasty, but again, not the figurative feast I had expected. Then it was time for dessert. Once again, it took too long before we were served. That is why I walked over to the bar again, where the waitstaff spoke to me. 2/4 of the options were unavailable. Therefore, tiramisu should also be available as a choice. The waitstaff should have inquired about this, but it should be possible without asking. Huh again? Contradictory, but oh well. It was nice that it was possible after all. We had tiramisu, affogato, and a coffee. The tiramisu was genuinely top-notch! The affogato was also tasty, but we did notice a few small ice crystals in it, which indicates that the ice cream didn't flow through quickly enough. The coffee was a bit too sour for my taste, but that's okay. The toilets, by the way, weren't really in order either. The men's toilet being unavailable (taped shut) was bad enough, but after washing hands, there was no paper or anything else to dry them with. All in all, the 2.5-hour visit to the pizza place (it would have been longer if we hadn't inquired before the food) was unfortunately a blemish on the otherwise wonderful impression we got of Apeldoorn. In our opinion, the staff should pay more attention to the people sitting there. It currently seems as if the priority is shifting more towards other matters. At this moment, I wouldn't be quick to return to this branch on my own initiative.

Pizzas were not ready for pickup at the agreed time. After waiting at the bar for 10 minutes without being served, it turned out that the pizzas still needed to go into the oven. When the pizzas were ready after a 15-minute wait, ingredients were missing from them, and they were very sparsely topped. Subsequently, I had to wait another 20 minutes for the new pizzas. Making customers wait 45 minutes, making smart-aleck remarks about the amount of ingredients, and no apologies? Simply disappointing and certainly not recommended.

The pizzas were an hour late and cold. I inquired by phone and they acted like the order was almost on its way, but it took another 45 minutes. I called again but they didn't answer. So be it that it takes longer. But don't lie to your customer. Worthless place.

Informal atmosphere, delicious food, starter and main course, coffee afterwards on the terrace. Just right for us right now. Highly recommended.

My worst hospitality experience of all time. I received the menu quite quickly, but it took a pretty long time for my order to be taken. Eventually, I went inside with the menu myself and placed my order at the bar. The drink I had ordered never arrived. When I asked about it, it turned out they didn't have that particular drink. I asked if there was anything else without sugar. The waitress said she would check and come back to me. However, she never came back. When I gestured to indicate that I was still waiting, she walked past and said: “Your drink will be here shortly.” Subsequently, a drink *with* sugar was placed on the table. I thought: forget it, I’ll just drink it anyway. I had ordered a starter and a main course. After five minutes, the waitress came back asking what my main course was again. A party of three people was sitting next to me. They had ordered later than me, but two of them received their meal earlier. The third person then had to wait and watch while the others were already eating. Eventually, I received my starter, but without a knife and fork. I waited for it for a while, but the waitress was nowhere to be seen. So I just ate it with my hands, because by then I was quite hungry. After that, I waited 45 minutes and still no pizza arrived. No apologies, no explanation, absolutely nothing. That was it, so I walked inside to pay for the starter and the drink I hadn't ordered. I wanted to pay in cash, but then I was also told that they didn't have any change. All in all, a very amateurish and, above all, disappointing experience. Never again.

Just walked out because the owner was walking around in flip-flops in the kitchen; we had already been waiting 20 minutes for a menu. The poor waitress couldn't handle it alone, though she was friendly. But there is absolutely no atmosphere in this place!

The staff tried their best and were friendly. However, due to understaffing, I only received a starter after 2.5 hours and could not wait any longer for the pizza.

As I write this, we have already been waiting for our pizza for over 1.5 hours. We have to walk to the bar ourselves to order drinks. Real respect for the guy standing there making the pizzas all by himself, but guests sitting in the restaurant are completely forgotten amidst the home delivery and takeout orders. The girl behind the bar has no idea what she is doing. Unfortunately, we won't be going back. It's a shame, because the food was otherwise fine, but the service really left a lot to be desired. You get better service at McDonald's.

We ate here on a weekday. The pizzas are actually quite tasty, but were served lukewarm. The staff are friendly, but things just aren't running smoothly. We had to wait a very long time for a menu and our drinks, mistakes were made with the order, and when serving, we were told that unfortunately there were no napkins left (?!). Mistakes were made when paying the bill as well. All in all, we certainly won't be going to PizzaBakkers a second time, and that is a shame, because the food wasn't bad.

After that, we were allowed to choose from all the pizzas. The two we chose were both very delicious. Then dessert. Chocolate mousse and tiramisu were both delicious as well. The gentleman who served us was very friendly. Very satisfied, and who knows, we might come back again!

Unfortunately, our experience at De Pizzabakkers in Apeldoorn was very disappointing. We started with the bruschetta as an appetizer, but it turned out to be nothing more than burnt toast with a few slices of cold tomato. The pizzas were also a letdown. They were barely topped, wafer-thin, and lacked flavor. We really expected more from a pizzeria. The service also left much to be desired. During our visit, we were never asked if everything was to our liking, and our empty plates remained on the table for a long time, even though the restaurant was virtually empty. Additionally, we asked in advance if my pregnant girlfriend could safely eat a specific pizza. The waitress indicated she would check with the kitchen, but never followed up on it. All in all, this was a disappointing experience, and unfortunately, it is not a restaurant we will be returning to.

We have eaten here a few times before and the food has always been good, with good service. Unfortunately, this time it was a big disappointment. It was quite busy inside and outside, and there was only one person serving and two in the kitchen. Many tables were empty but hadn't been cleared yet. It took a while before someone came to take our drink order. When taking the order, we were told that certain ingredients and drinks were out of stock. After an hour, we wanted to have another drink. When we signaled the waitress and asked if we could order more drinks, the response we received was that we had already ordered drinks anyway. We had to wait a long time for our pizzas, at least 1.5 hours. Despite the busyness, the waitress left at 8 o'clock. Eventually, someone came to tell us that their system kept crashing the orders. They could have mentioned this to us earlier and apologized. We had to ask for cutlery ourselves, otherwise we wouldn't get it. The pizzas tasted okay. Not as good as the ones I've eaten there before. We decided to skip dessert. When paying, they were unfriendly because we wanted to check the receipt. It is a real shame, but I won't be coming back here.

We got 2 pizzas; they were supposed to be ready at 25 but we received them at 50. The older man in the kitchen could be a bit nicer to his colleagues because he was looking at them angrily the whole time. The wait staff, however, helped us very well! The taste was also much worse than what we are used to from pizza makers :( If you want a pizza, unfortunately, you are better off going somewhere else.

A Father's Day promotion was organized (a free pizza for every dad). A nice family outing, eating pizza. Let's pop into Pizzabakkers Apeldoorn. It was quiet, although it got a bit busier later on. Unfortunately, the waitress was working alone and had to do everything herself. As a result, the waiting time increased considerably. The pizza baker in the kitchen was also alone and was so busy that the waiting time there was enormous as well. We waited half an hour for drinks, an hour (!) for the appetizer, and then forty-five minutes for the pizzas. We thought we would go early with the kids, but it ended up getting late. Later, another pizza baker and a waitress joined the team. The male pizza baker was struggling with the heat and his shirt was soaking wet; that doesn't look very hygienic. Things burned several times; the place was filled with blue smoke. The burnt pizza ended up in the sink where the staff kept washing their hands. The pizza sat there for hours. The hygiene was not really on point, including hand and countertop hygiene. A shame. The pizzas were much too over-baked; the dough was so thin that you could see through the base. Eating a slice of pizza became quite a challenge. I pointed this out to the wait staff. They responded appropriately, offered leniency, and said they would pass it on to the owner; I hope that has happened. Unfortunately, our daughter had stomach problems in the evening, and the next morning we both did too. Quite a coincidence…… I certainly cannot recommend this establishment and the food, combined with the poor hygiene on this day. I hope the team and the owner read reviews, respond to them, and even more importantly: take it seriously and take active action.

Great pizzeria After my first time, where my experience was less positive, I paid the pizza makers a second visit. Last time, I encountered unsharp service. This time it was better. The pizzas were fine. They are a bit less standard, but I can appreciate that too. The Danilo beer is worth trying.

By far the best pizzas in Apeldoorn. That was P**ia for a while, but this is really a step up in terms of tasty crust, original toppings, etc.

We went to eat here a while ago. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong. We had made a reservation, arrived 2 minutes before our reserved time, but there was no room for us. We sat at the bar for 35 minutes before we finally got a table. Furthermore, our drinks only arrived 20 minutes after we had ordered them. Once we were seated, it also took a very long time for our order to be taken. We had ordered a starter, the focaccia, but it was extremely salty, so salty that we left it untouched. Our main course was served before we had even started on the starter. Finally, we had ordered two different desserts but received two of the same; fortunately, the dessert was exchanged. I found the owner to be very unfriendly. After this very disappointing evening, we went back for a second chance, but this time too, it took a long time for the order to be taken, we received the food before we got the drinks, and the owner was unfriendly. I strongly advise against this restaurant!

The pizzas were tasty, but... not very suitable for eating with children. No bambinos on the menu. They don't have Fristi or chocolate milk, because it's "not Italian" 😆. The service was welcoming, but nothing more than that. The restroom is in need of renovation.

To be honest, I feel sorry that I have to write this review, because the pizzas were really incredibly tasty. That is absolutely not the issue. But unfortunately, the overall experience was simply not good. It felt like a chaotic establishment with a clear staff shortage. You could tell from everything that the team was under enormous pressure, which is of course unpleasant for them, but as a guest, it does have an impact on your evening. Tables were piled high with dirty plates and glasses, and we had to try multiple times to get attention just to be able to order anything at all. Additionally, the toilets were very filthy, and the space felt cramped and restless. When you tried to make contact with the staff, you were quickly told: “Sorry, I have to move on, it’s very busy.” I absolutely understand that, but especially as new guests, you hope for a slightly warmer and more welcoming approach. In the end, we had to wait almost two hours for our food. When it finally arrived, it turned out that part of the order was incorrect as well. We didn't say anything about it, simply because there didn't seem to be a moment when that was possible. It is a real shame, because the quality of the pizzas shows that this place could be very good. But due to the chaos, the long wait, and the lack of structure and customer friendliness, this was unfortunately not a pleasant experience. Precisely because the food was so tasty, I am still giving two stars. But hopefully something will actually be done with this feedback, because this is really sad.

Had a ‘mystery’ pizza via ToGoodToGo. The service was good, and we were also allowed to mention our dietary requirements so we wouldn't get the wrong pizza. Played a game of chess while waiting, so the time flew by. All in all, a good experience! P.S. Did have a small dessert.

Unfortunately, a negative experience. We had reserved for 7:00 PM. Upon arrival, the waitress indicated that our table would become available in a few minutes, no problem. After 10 minutes, there was still no table available, and I saw that the staff were consulting. Another waitress came over to us and indicated that she was moving a table away from another table to create a spot for us. The spot that was created was very cramped, right against a cupboard and in front of the entrance to the toilet. I indicated that we did not want this. When I reserve a table, I expect it to be ready, not for a spot to be created in an inconvenient location. Because of this, we left.

Since the new owner, it's getting worse every day. They make the pizzas wrong. They don't take complaints seriously. We've been satisfied customers here for years.

Furthermore, we didn't feel well the next day after eating, which made it even worse. Due to this poor service and the quality of the food, I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We had a delicious (and affordable) meal. Unique and classic pizzas on the menu, and a wonderful tiramisu. The staff were also welcoming and friendly, which we really appreciated. The interior (table arrangement), the decor, and the large windows can make it feel a bit sparse and lacking in ambiance, but the food and staff more than make up for it!

Quality pizzas, friendly, appropriately amicable staff in a historic, spacious building with a variety of seating and tables. Formerly a post office (80 years old), Claudio's was the best ice cream parlor in the Netherlands four times in a row (7 years). Now, excellent pizzas and a wonderful staff with unusual, exceptionally tasty combinations, a wonderful beer and wine selection, their own limoncello, and dangerously tempting desserts.

Had dinner with my wife. Allergies weren't a problem. Friendly service and plenty of time to eat in peace...and finally, a "slice" of tiramisu. And then we went home with a full stomach...definitely worth repeating.

We got our table quickly upon arrival. Then it took 55 minutes before we got our drinks. After 1:30 we got our pizzas. 1 of them was served with a lump of cold mozzarella. The other with what looked like a double layer of tomato sauce. The third was fine. Structure could have prevented this. There was clearly no district division or everyone ignored it. We will choose Bianco again next time.

Together with my grandmother I went out for dinner where we both enjoyed the food. The pizzas were not very special with the exception of the pizza of the month. Not very full of toppings and still full of taste. The special grandmother's soup campaign in which the pizza bakers participated to get lonely elderly people out of their homes was a really great idea and the staff was very patient and friendly to my grandmother who has deteriorated somewhat with her age.

The food is great, good pizzas, nice drinks. Unfortunately the service left much to be desired, not that they were unfriendly, certainly not! It all took a very long time. When paying, I got a clear explanation why it all took so long. It had to do with circumstances and that was understanding. Improvement was promised!!

First we had to wait half an hour for some bread and dip. Then we had to wait more than an hour for 2 pizzas. It was clearly stated that we had to leave at 7:30 because of the show. Because of this we were almost late and in the end we had to eat the pizzas from the pizza box while walking. As compensation we only got 2 drinks.

The wait for the starter took 50 minutes and somewhere we had the false hope that the main course would follow fairly quickly. But unfortunately..... The waiting time between the starter and the main course increased to more than 30 minutes. People who came in later than us, got their food many times before we did. Maybe a tip to keep a better planning and schedule for making pizzas next time. Our complaint was handled very well and neatly

Social deal 🤝 is 3 courses and an allergy policy went well. The time between serving food took far too long. Three quarters of an hour between the starter and main course. The food was fresh and tasty 😋.

Had dinner here in December and for the second time a week ago. There is little to complain about the food, they have good pizza dough and the flavors are very tasty. Also great homemade limoncello. But the service is downright bad. When you enter, you just have to find someone to indicate your reservation. Drinks were only taken after a long wait and they arrived at the same time as the starter. Half an hour after the starter you get the message that pizzas are going to be made, but then it takes a long time before you actually get your pizza. And while we were still eating the main course, the waiter came to ask if we would like dessert. The timing could be better. By the way, this was on a quiet Friday evening, the restaurant was certainly not full. Salad from the "from pizza to menu" is quite sad. A whole mountain of arugula with the occasional piece of fennel and zucchini. Hardly noticeable from the dressing, it could have had more flavor. My friend had the focaccia, but in retrospect that was also not a smart choice. You just get baked dots of pizza dough with some oil, instead of a beautifully developed fluffy focaccia. With pizza as a main course, he was disappointed that he would eat the same thing twice. It was a bit of luck that the homemade pesto was very good. The pizzas are perfect, especially the monthly pizza amatriciana, which was well flavored and not too greasy. They use thin and crispy Roman pizza dough that has a lot of flavor on its own (so don't expect Neapolitan pizza with a soft, thick edge here). The ice cream for dessert is also of good quality and both the pistachio ice cream and limoncello ice cream really taste like the pure ingredients. In short, we would like to come back here for the food, but the service really needs to be improved.

Yesterday we wanted to eat there. Although the place was almost empty at 5:30 PM, we still had no pizza after 45 minutes. Upon inquiry it turned out that something had gone wrong. We left disappointed. Oh yes, as a saving grace we were offered a drink. PRESSERS.

Been here for the first time via Social deal. Nice friendly service. Choices on the menu were surprising. Almost all pizzas had a vegetarian option! The starter looked wonderfully fresh and neat and tasted delicious! Pizzas too! Dessert, the chocolate calzone, is very special. We had 3 social deals and 2 without. It was also neatly said that the most expensive dishes were from the social deal. You don't see that everywhere! In short, we had a delicious meal and will definitely come back
