I have been going to Alibaba Eethuis in Apeldoorn for years, and it is always truly top-notch. The Pasta Pollo is amazing and absolutely my favorite. The pizzas are also delicious, with a tasty crust and generous toppings. The shawarma is truly absurdly good, and the fries are different from those at most other places, but that is precisely what makes them so incredibly tasty. In all those years, I have never had a bad meal here. Additionally, the staff is always friendly, hospitable, and helpful. You really feel welcome there. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good meal in Apeldoorn!

We used to order here quite often, but the last two times our order didn't arrive until about 1.5 hours later. The food was cold and the salad looked inedible. Additionally, the durum had shrunk considerably, but the price hadn't. For us, this was the last time we ordered here.

We had a delicious meal, with a wide selection on the menu. The place is neat and cozily decorated, with a lovely terrace. The portions are generous and the service was friendly. It was our first time here, but certainly not our last. We would love to come back.

Ordered food via Thuisbezorgd; the food arrived quickly, but that was about the only positive thing. The chicken satay didn't taste fresh, and it certainly didn't taste like satay (chicken satay...?). Also, fries were supposed to come with the chicken satay, but I didn't see any fries. And you paid €23 for this... dry chicken, without satay and without fries... Ordered the Turkish pizza and the salad separately; the lettuce was on it, but the toppings were very sparse with doner kebab... very disappointing... not recommended!

Until last October, I regularly ordered a giant doner here for lunch for €11.00, which I already thought was quite pricey, but anyway, the quality was fine and it was tasty. Now, this same sandwich suddenly costs €15.00, I only get half the meat, and the flavor is gone too (though that could very well be due to the higher price). I am seriously starting to wonder what all those kebab places are up to. Prices are going through the roof and the quality, but especially the service, is going downhill. Give me a good cafeteria again instead of those many dozens of kebab joints in Apeldoorn.

Tip: make the menu smaller and serve guests a bit faster. Ordering well in advance and still having to wait a very long time to pick up your order doesn't seem right to me.

I spent a night in Apeldoorn and got pizza and shawarma from this place. Nicely decorated... courteous service... well-presented. The food is what I expect... well-seasoned meat... the pizza crust was crispy. The toppings were also good... with this... a good review.

I paid €34 for the most disgusting doner I've ever tasted!!!! They don't make it from meat at all, but from some kind of minced meat, but it's not even on the shampoo, they bring it from somewhere in the back room. Don't buy it, I don't recommend it!!!

Delicious food, friendly staff and not too expensive

We waited almost two hours for our food (we live a five-minute bike ride from their location). We called three times, and the communication between the delivery person and the woman there was incredibly poor. Finally, they made a new order and told us it was our own fault because the address was incorrect. (If you typed it into Google Maps, our address would just show up.) We also received very poor service over the phone. They were completely unhelpful and very unfriendly.

Another very bad experience. Ordered a chicken shawarma pizza. Besides the extremely late delivery (and the high price), the wrong pizza was delivered. I called, and a new pizza was delivered, but the wrong one had to be returned. The new pizza arrived – stone cold. I called again, and the old pizza had to be returned (which, according to the lady, was thrown away). Third attempt. No apology or "compensation" for the situation. So I refused and asked for a refund. Never again.

Part of the order not delivered, the rest soaking wet and cold. Complaint not taken seriously. Could either come pick it up myself or it would be delivered 4 hours after ordering; no further compensation possible.

DO NOT ORDER!!!! The order was incomplete, and when we called about it, the employee was rude and literally stated she couldn't do anything about the missing food. Ultimately, we were expected to pick it up ourselves. When we indicated that this was unacceptable and found it ridiculous that they were blaming us for a mistake on their part, our response was: "Then I can't do anything for you." This was completely ignored. Poor service, poor communication, and absolutely no customer service.

Extremely poor customer service. The employee was rude and refused to help. When I said I would report it, I was told, "That's what you should do." Absolutely no customer service whatsoever.

One star is already too much. I paid €10 for a bowl of shawarma that was smaller than my hand. The €4 fries were completely missing. The meat had little to no flavor. I also paid €8 for a bowl of lentil soup without bread. After calling, I was treated unfriendly by the woman. She literally told me she could only help with the fries, not the rest, and that I had to pick them up myself. Absolutely no service and no customer service. A very disappointing experience.

The food was subpar. We had two shawarma sandwiches, but they came without the bun. The salad was brown and sour. The food was lukewarm and had a strange aftertaste.

Ordered for the second time. Neatly packaged. Nice and warm. The falafel dish is a good portion and very good falafel! One container of sauce is a bit small. The durum doner is tasty, but this is a smaller portion. More than adequate for the price and very fast delivery (Saturday evening within 30 minutes). Definitely worth ordering again!

Just had to get fries and a cheeseburger here because Charly's unfortunately closed early. I hadn't been here before, and now I know I won't be back. Unfriendly staff, ridiculously overpriced cheeseburger and fries. Had to wait a long time in a dark, uninviting space. The small amount of fries smelled and turned out soggy. The cheeseburger was mostly just disgusting, limp vegetables drowned in sauce with an old burger patty. The whole lot ended up in the trash, damn it.

Went there for dinner with a large group. The food was delicious and large portions, only the shawarma could have been cooked a little less long... but the rest was great! And the staff was super friendly and the tables were pushed together without any problem. All our food also came quickly and at the same time. Highly recommended!

We have been coming here for a few years! Food always arrived within 10 minutes, the service was very good, but the last 2 times I was disappointed, the last time I had to wait 30 minutes! And last time we waited 50 minutes and while we had ordered, people came in and ordered food and they got it before us! That's showing favoritism to people, such a shame because the food is delicious! Unfortunately, the service has only deteriorated

We come there regularly...but this was really the last time. We always order by telephone and then pick it up ourselves. If you arrive at the agreed time... you may have to wait a terribly long time!! Umpteenth time. What a mess there. It really is never ready on time! Also people who order in the store itself... just have to wait 45 minutes to an hour. Done with it. 1 star is still too much.

If you just want to eat good food, this is the place for you. The food is tasty, portions are more than sufficient and the mixed grill is especially tasty. The kofte is also delicious. Rustic fries are also fine. Benches at the tables are nice, I want them at home too! The menu is as you would expect from an establishment called AliBaba: no culinary delights but good for a nice price.

And as a apology, the shipping costs were reimbursed for a can of drink. You will never see me again and of course I will never order again. At first glance we weren't that impressed with the location. Nevertheless, we ordered and tried different pizzas. Overall we all enjoyed it. The dough was good and we enjoyed the pizza. Afterwards we were all full. The atmosphere was friendly and the service was courteous. We enjoyed our time together and are already looking forward to the next meeting in this pizzeria.

Ordered at half past 11, it said it would be delivered around 12:15. Finally delivered at 2:15 PM. Ordered for almost €100 and it was delivered cold. We report it to the delivery person and he does nothing with it. We certainly won't order from here again

Ordered food with a large group for over 150 Euro, on my advice because I had ordered from them before. Of course delivered later than agreed. No problem can happen. Unfortunately, 1 colleague had chicken skewers from the grill. It was literally charred and dry. After calling for the first time, I was told it was supposed to be that way. After calling a second time with a lot of persuasion by another colleague, I still received new fries with a frikandel. (just to be sure, because less could go wrong with a frikandel). The owner eventually agreed with us that it shouldn't be like this. All in all, it was resolved in the end, but we will not order here again. The rest of the food was fine btw.

Let's face it, the food is excellent. The hair salons are perhaps the best in the area. Tasty, more than enough. In that respect I would definitely give 4 stars. But.... If you order and have it delivered, they currently have a real problem, caused by a dire shortage of delivery people, they do not need 60 minutes as promised but almost 2 hours. Ordered 3 garlic sauces and only received 2, the “giant shawarma” was meager and now I see on the receipt that €2 delivery costs have been deducted. I'm absolutely not concerned about the €2, but after waiting and making the effort to reach them and pick up the order, this is of course not the service you expect. Tip to the owner: if you do not have staff to deliver, indicate on home delivery that you are closed for delivery.

That's fine in itself, except that nothing was delivered and after another phone call we were called liars. This lacks any form of customer friendliness and trust in your regular customers. Friendly and tasty. We called ahead to ask if there was seating available for 6 (yes) and when we walked in they recognised us and showed us to a table they'd reserved for us. The waitress was friendly and good with the children. One of our group is a vegetarian and it was no problem to swap the kebab meat for falafels, and they were happy to show different bowls so we knew how big "big", "medium" and "small" portions were. My only negative comment is that the inside of the shop stank of cigarette smoke. I'm not sure if this was from the staff on a cigarette break round the back, or if it wafted in from the couple sitting outside near the open door who thought it would be romantic to sit on their phones and puff toxic fumes at each other.

With a giant shawarma you only get a pita bread, while there is enough meat to fill 4. Those things don't cost anything, so adding a few doesn't seem like an unnecessary luxury to me. The salad that comes with it is without flavor and peppers. When it is busy it is chaos and the staff walks around like headless chickens. Moreover, this staff could sometimes look a bit friendlier. I miss the previous owners who were super friendly and had everything on track. I won't be there again.

Alibaba has had a different owner for a few months now, this one is just as good as the first one, it's a shame that we can't say goodbye to the first owner, so we wish the new owner the best of luck.
