I go to Pizzabakkers quite often but this location is easily one of my favourites. Had a fantastic pizza today with my family, we were served by Joan. He was friendly, made a nice conversation with us and provided great service :)

We recently dined at De Pizzabakkers Leliegracht (Do not ask me to pronounce it :) ) in Amsterdam and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. It’s clear they take pride in making sure each guest enjoys their time there. The pizza itself was outstanding—truly reminiscent of the authentic Italian style. The crust struck the perfect balance between crisp and chewy, and the toppings were added just right, neither skimping nor overwhelming the flavor. You could taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. If you’re looking for a spot in Amsterdam that offers great service, a lively vibe, and top-notch pizza, I highly recommend De Pizzabakkers. It’s definitely a place I’d visit again!

We regularly order from Pizzabakkers and are usually satisfied, but unfortunately the quality of the two pizzas today left much to be desired. The edges of the salami pizza were burnt and black, and the taste was so salty that the pizza was barely edible. The prosciutto pizza had tomato sauce with an extremely overpowering, sour taste. We will not order from here again in the future.

It was almost ten at night and we went in to try a pizza very tired. It was a truffle that we ate sitting at the bar because there were no more people. We really liked the dough and seeing how it was made and cooked. We ordered a margarita and he politely let us know he was ending, so if we wanted more, that was the time. Great pizza with lots of tomato, hot and good dough. It was a good experience.

Used to be a massive fan but the last time I ordered delivery for my son and I it was awful. The dough was crunchy like a cracker, the cheese looked kinda melted but had no taste and felt like plastic. I can’t figure out how that pizza came to exist in such a mess. Ate a slice and encouraged my son to as well. Ended up cooking him a different dinner because he didn’t want it. Usually he’s Amsterdams number 1 pizza monster.

If you love pizza made and cooked in 5 minutes even when busy then off you go. Best pizza around. Enjoy and thank me if you love thin crispy perfect pizza

I can't remember exactly what pizza I had but I only remember that it was absolutely delicious and the highlight of my day when I passed by this place after visiting Anne Frank House. We immediately ate all our pizzas on the bench outside the storefront.

Way too expensive €17 for prosciutto pizza that was undercooked and had a lot of tomato sauce on it, wood oven, but because of sawdust blocks there was no taste, all in all just bad

As good as the best pizzas we've tried across Italy, and the best we've tried in NL or in the USA. Served hot out of their wood-burning oven just a few minutes after ordering. I'd show you a photo but we ate it so fast. The bakers are super friendly. This is a carryout place but they do have a few seats if you need to eat there. Great prices, too. Go there!

Great thin pizza from the oven, fast baked, we had prosciutto with funghi. Minus is just one small table next to the window to sit and one bench in front of the restaurant.

Best pizza in Amsterdam. You should try the "El Diablo" its not on the menu. But a special combo of two pizza's I created as a regulair customer.

The margarita pizza is pretty “meh” but the funghi and pancetta pizza was so good that it still gets 5 stars. Fast, hot, good service. Good selection of beverages for sale in bottles.

Went there right before closing hours and yet Joan (amazing guy we later became friends) didn’t mind making us a pizza which tasted wonderful and was authentic italian we ordered margarita the cheese was great so was the sauce and we had a great time talking to Joan wonderful lad 10/10 would recommend, prices were very reasonable too for the location (yep forgot to take photos of the pizza was too hungry)

Ran into this place inadvertently just when we were very hungry for lunch. Were not disappointed; tasty and esthetic. No real sitting area inside - and it's not acceptable to eat in the street - but the place does have a few canal-view benches in front to enjoy your meal.

We went there our first day in Amsterdam. Big recommendation for the best pizza we had in a long time. Ordered a Pizza with Salami an the Panchetta e funghi. They were delicious!

Suuuuuper good pizza. Very friendly servers. I asked how spicy the spicy sausage was and he let me try a slice of the meat before ordering. Cute little bar to eat at facing outside.
