The atmosphere was nice and service was ok. Food came in good time (a bit cold), but I also had a small order - a toastie and a black coffee. The low rating is mainly because of the price - almost 10 euros for an very small portion (I had to wonder if I only got half of it). Maybe just a bad order on my side, but don’t think I will return to find out.

Food and service were incredible. We stayed in Amsterdam for 3 nights and we went for all of our breakfasts there! Thank you so much 🥰

Beautiful and fresh food, very good service with a smile

Food was nice, but we had to wait very long while anyone will come to us (I still waved to the workers several times and they saw me), and it was not busy then. Also the waitress was slow and didn't seem smart, asking strange questions (maybe she doesn't hear well through the noise and music).

We tried to make a reservation and they wouldnt let us. We sat for an hour and mafe seferal requests to be served andcwere ignored. They served customers who arrived after us

Nice atmosphere, great breakfast with a modest offering. Service however takes a bit of time and they don't tend to multi task very well, keep that into account if you're not willing to spend all morning there.

Great food but always seems like there is a shortage of staff.

First of all the service is not on par. They seemed a bit hasty and not very attentive. The shocker was the 10 euro overpriced not very good coffee. If you pay more than 5 euro for a coffee in Amsterdam, you should get the cup it comes in for free. The coffee, is like any cafe coffee. If you want to have an overpriced coffee that is barista quality, just walk around the corner to the Scandinavian Embassy, they have proper coffee. I feel this cafe is just set up to take advantage of people visiting the RAI. Pure exploitation. Not going there again.

So, what can I say! Went for a walk, stopping for a morning coffee. €10,50 for two unimpressive coffee’s, served up by a stoic-unapologetic person. Would never recommend, nor return… To many great alternatives in the area.

Weren't welcomed or given a menu upon arrival, and it took 25 min before the waitress asked us for our food order - it was not busy. People who arrived later than us got served and their food before us. We decided to leave.

The three of us came in like hungry wolves after a bike ride and football and ordered two 'uitsmijters' for ourselves and a hamburger for our son. Nothing to complain about the service, but there are points for improvement for the food: the hamburger was fine, but the 'uitsmijters' were too small (and too salty). We were still hungry afterwards. When we paid, we were given a piece of banana bread to remedy that problem, which is a great gesture of course. Hopefully the message gets across that the 'uitsmijters' could really be more generous.

Located right in front of the RAI exhibition hall, a brunch restaurant like a neighborhood cafe.. The coffee is not that great, but the bread and yogurt seem delicious..

Before going to the Upside down, we wanted to have breakfast. What a disappointment: no affordable product available: no croissants. We are offered a Dutch pancake for €11. In reality it is a pancake. No Nutella to accompany it either, just a ridiculous amount of jam. We discovered their banana bread, but again there was none. In short, a very expensive breakfast, €34 for 5, having had coffee, hot chocolate and a crepe. I don't recommend.

The French toast was delicious, although the portion was a bit small. So if you're really hungry, you'd better grab a sandwich. They're a little bigger and fill you up. The service left a lot to be desired, bad-tempered employees and simply not good service, we got the wrong drinks several times (the right ones were brought after we pointed it out)

Twee keer moeten seinen en uiteindelijk moeten vragen of we wat mochten bestellen. Bediening had alle tijd, op alle tafels stond nog vieze vaat. Aangeven dat ik de eieren dubbel gebakken wilde hebben (30 weken zwanger, dat kon je wel zien), alsnog de eieren niet goed doorbakken…

Nice place on the inside with a terrace outside. We had a lovely lunch here in the sun. Carpaccio sandwich and hamburger sandwich with everything on it were delicious. Everything they serve at the table looked good and filled.

Tasty sandwiches and nice place. Cosily furnished inside, light and spacious. Drinks such as cola from a can, with a glass included. It took a little longer than we would like for the sandwich to arrive, even though the restaurant was not super full. BLTC was super tasty, carpaccio sandwich was a bit disappointing in terms of taste. Would definitely come back here to try the other tasty sandwiches on the menu! Great service, nice and friendly employees.

Food was fine. However, it takes a long time before someone takes an order. We were not the only ones. It happens all the time. Even when the place was almost empty. Then the staff starts arguing with each other in the kitchen. Toilets are far from clean, as is the floor. Not appetizing.. For me personally, for the sake of atmosphere, hygiene and overview, not a second time.

I took a matcha latte, it was nice, the first serving was a decent one, the second service was to the half of the cup. Quite disappointing to pay the same price for half of the quantity.. The serving staff is lovely! Great service!

Wonderful relaxed atmosphere! At De Uitsmijter at Europaplein 71 in Amsterdam you will immediately feel at home. The staff is super friendly and the place is spotless. The coffee is delicious and the Homemade Hummus is finger licking good. The menu may not be very extensive, but what is on it is of top quality. A perfect place to enjoy on Sunday morning and the other 6 days for breakfast or lunch.

What a nice place to sit. Recently taken over by new owners. Atmosphere is good, service is sweet and attentive, and the menu is tasty and varied. The BLTC is absolutely recommended, I can eat it every day!

I had the sandwich with pesto, mozerella tomato. That really tasted 0% like pesto. I asked afterwards if there was only arugula leaves in it instead of basil. Really gross. The cheese also looked more like goat cheese than mozerella. I don't recommend this place for food. The seating areas are also super inefficient and crappy with bar stools.

3 years ago I gave five stars - quiet atmosphere; super tasty and original food. I came here almost every week. Now new owner and all originality and quality is gone. Ordered a BLTC and the chicken was uncomfortably greasy, bread cut awkwardly thick. Cook had greasy curls hanging loosely, not very hygienic. Shame

We attended an event at the convention center, starting at 2pm on the first day, so we decided to try this restaurant right across from RAI Amsterdam. It was quite busy, and they informed us there would be a 30-minute wait. However, even as the place started to empty out, we kept waiting. After 45 minutes, we asked about our order and were told that it hadn’t even been started. Finally, an hour later, they handed us takeaway sandwiches, but half of them were incorrect. The staff offered only a brief apology and made no effort to resolve the issue. Overall, the experience was very disappointing, and I would not recommend this place.

UPDATE: new owner. New map. Lots of similar things. But the çilbir has disappeared from the map. What a disaster. You can read my review below as an archaeological phenomenon. You can't leave two reviews on Google, but if the owner changes, I think that should be possible hehe. Without yogurt and without sauce, a thick slice of bread is not a delicacy but a cinnamon challenge without cinnamon flavor. Old review: Do you know the phenomenon that you believe something and also have memories of it, but these are not true? The Mandela effect. That's what I have with this case. I swear I was at Omelegg. And also recognize the stylized logo. And now it's called the Bouncer and you start to doubt yourself. What you should not hesitate about is the map. A new chef has now arrived, de Çilbir, and the bottom side of a thick slice of bread is covered in creamy yogurt and the still crispy top is covered with egg and chili oil. They call it chili butter, but it is liquid and it is very difficult to distinguish. You think how can I get rid of that piece of bread, but the balance between creamy and tart, wet and dry makes it a very balanced meal. I had initially checked that I had breakfast here, but ordering took so long that it became brunch. Kitchen was very fast!

It's not possible to quickly make a cappuccino to take away here. Takes too long and order is wrong. In the end it was a black coffee due to time constraints, but the coffee was good.

The girls in the cafeteria are charming, they speak Spanish and they treated us wonderfully. The food was very very delicious, I 100% recommend you go here to eat.

The place looks nice from the outside. However, when we entered it was blue with smoke. In addition, there were many tables that had not yet been cleared. I ordered the French toast, and I got a rotten banana as fruit. No fresh red fruit as mentioned on the menu. The whole plate did not look attractive at all, burnt toast. After I told the waiter, he did nothing about it, just blamed the chef... also the whole place smells strongly from the kitchen.

Meh. Good meal presentation, the bread could have been toasted (or warmed) on Smoked Salmon. The business is much older that the pictures on thr website. I was looking forward to a bright sunny breakfast place this was pretty dingy, faded colors. The service was fine, I asked three times for water with our breakfast. Overall, average.

Lovely little breakfast/brunch spot that my friend and I discovered near the hotel. Food & drink options were yummy & reasonably priced. The staff is lovely but sometimes when it gets busy the organisation might get a little chaotic, so if you’re in a rush this might not be for you. Worst service we have ever experienced. Everyone is completely overwhelmed. Even after 45 minutes you don't get a menu. There is no more food available even though the restaurant is normally full. You're better off looking elsewhere.

After waiting 15-20 minutes for service (average crowds) a lady came by. She first served the people on the other side of the same table, cleared our side, looked at us and then pulled out a sign saying 'reserved' and told us we couldn't sit here. She didn't offer another free table either. We understand the shortage of staff in the catering industry, but this kind of rudeness is not acceptable anywhere. We have had a good meal here before, but then we probably always met the owner. Tip: Hire staff who love their job.

We were here for my friend’s birthday trip. We ordered brunch. 2 juices and 2 coffees plus food. The food was good but the service was appalling. We waited half an hour for the 2 coffees. The juice drinks were never brought out until we asked for them when the food came. The food took 45 minutes for some granola and eggs on toast. I was told there wasn’t any sugar when there was (I had to get it from another table). We weren’t given any cutlery with the food until we had to ask again. Would not recommend.

Super convenient stop before heading on the bus to Keukenhof. Quick easy breakfast of eggs and cheese on a crunchy toast with bacon as well… mmm. And the croissant with Nutella was also delicious.

An employee was rude and called us directly to the bar, even though there was room to sit at the normal table. He said we have to wait at the bar and eat/drink there. We then asked another employee and she said there was enough space at the tables and we were welcome to sit there. The service is sometimes unfriendly. The ambience is not inviting. It only has a few seats and they are cramped and uncomfortable. Okay for a quick breakfast, but not suitable for a good gourmet breakfast.

Phew; It took a long time before someone came to take drinks and asked for a menu. Did not get. Food is brought. Cutlery is not there yet. etc etc. - Few vegetarian options. It's 2024 people.

You did it, you finally made it to Amsterdam and the best country in the world, but the catch is you have to attend a convention.. The food at the convention hall is fine, or better than most, but if you need a break and wish to have an excellent meal without a wait, walk across the street and visit De Uitsmijter. The food was amazing, the staff were very happy to ensure you are set. Oh, be sure to check out the sinks in the WC as it is very Dutch and it made me smile.

Interessante format che alterna una classica caffetteria con l’offerta di piatti semplici con materie organica prima di alta qualità ( soprattutto uova ) Disponibili sia tavoli che tavolini ed anche tavoli alti con sgabelli. Nella bella stagione disponibili anche i tavoli all’esterno. Cordiale il servizio ( i junior un poco impacciati ma va bene ) Prezzi nella media ( locale ) Merita un passaggio se vi piace il genere.
