A very cute little bar/ restaurant right at the start of Vondelpark, especially cute and viby in summer but also nice to visit in winter as it’s also open every day. Also little insider tip, they have a very nice toilet especially if you’re near there in summer 😉

note for now: Opening hours are incorrect. Place closed at 17:30. Food is nice and location is very pretty. Good option for a happy hour in summer or a warm stop in colder months.

Very nice place to sit for coffee or food in vondelpark. The staff is very kind! The coffee is full of flavor! You can comfortably go alone or with a large group or with your dog. The space is large and has a playground.

I came here with my son. 2 hot chocolates for 10 euros. There was something stuck to the toilet seat.

Pushing the boundary on pricing. The garden is a lovely space for a coffee or drink. We were disappointed by the food. The menu offered "American style pancakes". What we got were three small pikelets (not fluffy pancakes) that were from a packet and warmed up. And paid €10 for the pleasure.

A lovely spot by the park for a bite to eat and a drink with friends and family. We were here for an event with a large group. The service was friendly and quick with the food and drinks. Definitely a great way to start or end a walk through Vondelpark on a nice day.

Stopped in here for brunch on a Sunday morning. Very nice and simple menu. Order at the bar and they will give you a buzzer to pick up your food. Plenty of seating outside. Relaxed vibes. Decent prices.

We only had a beer but we had to ask a waiter to come and clear the table from previous customers. The patio qas very nice!

This used to be a wonderful place with pancakes and such. Unfortunately, it's now incredibly plain and somewhat tasteless. The price-quality ratio is really out of whack. Almost 10 euros for two old Casino rolls with two croquettes and a bit of mustard is really bad in my opinion. The staff is friendly but very young. The atmosphere is good.

Nice spot on the edge of the park. Order at the bar; food is usually ready quickly. Small children can also play in the large sandbox.

Laidback, good food and great audience. What is there not to like? Maybe the way you need to order, with a QR that takes you to a website with the menu, without a way to order, so I ended up taking notes in a seperate app to collect the drink and foods of the group I was with. Could have been a much smoother experience. But, hey! Things were really relaxed so who's complaining?!

The Caesar salad consists of iceberg lettuce, croutons, a boiled egg, diced smoked (!) chicken, sauce, and grated cheese. It was edible, nothing more. The garden is dilapidated and in dire need of maintenance. The tables were covered in dirty plates with food scraps devoured by the birds. The staff is friendly, but seems to consist entirely of working students and shows little sense of ownership. The cottage and restrooms, while old, are still quite clean.

A great place to go with children (babies). Food and amenities are adequate. Houses are available.

Perfect for parents with young kids. Food and drinks can be taken to the playground area where there are picnic tables. Playground is enclosed so kids cannot escape. There's a sandpit for the toddlers and a big climbing frame for the 5 year olds, plus various other pieces of equipment.

Great place to stop to eat and drink when strolling around the park, nice beer choices.

A pleasant outdoor meeting spot under the trees. Self-service is available in two locations. Friendly young staff serve at the bar. Also great for families with young children, with a sandbox and playground.

Great atmosphere to chill with your furry companion. With decent selections of beers, wine and food. Very dog 🐶 friendly with plenty of outdoor seating.

Had lunch here yesterday on a lovely sunny day. It was the perfect spot for a tasty lunch that was also good value. I loved the smoked salmon sandwich.

Very nice but the all day menu was not all day

Great place to have a meal or drink whilst the children play. The only down side is that getting food takes ages. Today it took me about 20 minutes to receive my food order, which consisted of an over-priced Cesar salad and a children’s pasta.

Great especially for parents with children, the little ones can romp around in the playground, we as parents were able to relax and eat and drink while watching the little ones, really great for the whole family and definitely worth a day trip.

Well-located place, right next to the park, and the place itself is nice. However, in terms of service, it was a big disappointment: no one was in sight, we had to go get our drinks ourselves, and the tables remained dirty. The iced coffee was frankly bad. Too bad, because the spot has potential.

Thought I'd have a drink for King's Day, but too bad they're ripping things off a bit. €6 for a pint is a fair price I think. But then they serve a 300ml glass as a Pint. Better walk on next time.

We sat down because our google maps said the open and the server was very rude in kicking us out and telling us to go. She could have said it an a much more polite and considerate manner

Nicely located relaxation area in the Vondelpark, where many young professionals and children come when the weather is good.

Once ordered we sit down, first cleaning what was left by those who were there before us (and the rubbish had been there for a while, same thing for all the tables). After 20 minutes not even the slightest sign of food, I go to ask for information and without checking either the table or the order they reply with a seraphic "10 minutes". 15 pass, still no food. I come back to ask for clarification: "We had a problem in the kitchen, here fill out this form so we'll give you your money back in TWO days." Same thing repeated to another dozen people. In summary: we haven't eaten, we haven't received our money yet, they have pre-printed forms which means that every 2x3 there is someone asking for a refund. We are still waiting €53 for an omelette and a sandwich. Terrible place, frequented only because it's the only one in the park, but just walk 50 meters outside and you'll find an infinite number of serious bars. Never again.

An aperol spritz for €9.50 in a wine glass. Not okay.

Great location with kids and/or for a drink in the park. Prices are high. Food is OK. It's self-service.

On a sunny morning, a coffee with a croissant. Wonderfully relaxing. Walking, cycling or public transport is the best way to get there.

It's really annoying to have to watch your stuff and drinks to not be taken away. Happened 3 times, drinks and my aligners were taken from the table without asking. I had to retrieve my aligners from the bin. Really uncool. I always work there, and I need to put my stuff on my lap from now on to not be taken away... really annoying and always apologies, but next time, the same happens. So be extra aware that your drinks are not taken while sitting on the table half full.

A nice restaurant, in a good location (Vondelpark), offering great food and refreshing drinks. I think that when spending time in the park, it is worth stopping here and taking a break from exploring the area, as well as eating something delicious and drinking a good drink. I recommend!

Remarkable experience was worth it

Stopped here after a day of biking around Amsterdam and the park on the wet and cold day. Great place to warm up, fantastic atmosphere for a conversation, fair prices, good selection of beverages and food.

Nice place to sit and nice location but no value for money. €7,50 for two slices of bread, 1 slice of cheese and 1 slice of ham. Not ordering here again.

Nice to place visit during sunny day.Friendly service however my sister ordered and prepay by card for pastel de nata and it was not available so was one big issue to get her money back.

Nice little restaurant and great for kids

This place would be quite amazing in the summer and warmer days, still a cool place to visit and I recommend it. But I can't give it 5 stars because of delays with food order and overcooked bitterballen. We did go on a Sunday late afternoon, so the regular kitchen isn't open. It's a bit hectic and and loud when ordering your food (in line, inside). You need to identify a table first, if you get something besides drinks. So if you're by yourself, you could be out of luck or somehow reserve your seat without leaving your belongings on your seat while you go order. Either way, they were friendly and the location is super great. I'm sure lots of sun and shade in the summer.

good place to stop, rest, eat/drink something. I had a very good matcha latte🌱 but the place is super interesting for brunch. It was Sunday, it was sunny and that's why it was crowded. They have impeccably clean bathrooms inside.

I was going for a walk in the park and found a surprisingly cozy cafe with delicious prosecco. Actually the park around the cafe is like a "paradise garden".. Where no one bothers anyone to enjoy the nature and peace of this beautiful place... An energetic retreat in the heart of Amsterdam.

The food and coffee are so-so, but the coffee and all kinds of drinks are superb. Lovely green area, the only negative is that there is always a lot. people. Morning, afternoon and evening. However, looking forward to many walks during the autumn.

Nice casual place that offers a really good flamkkuchen. Beautiful location, self service and a calm atmosphere. A flamkuchen is 13,5 Eur and it is thin and crispy and it is different every day. I really like it.

Great place to start your evening. The location is great and bright, centrally located. The offering is what you would expect from a menu in the city center. Totally fine, but don't expect anything innovative.

Beautiful place at the end of Vondelpark. You can only pay by card here and you have to order at the bar, but the service is fast and the food and drinks are excellent.

Nice place to spend some time and have a drink. But really mean bartenders, seriously have no idea what was so funny with my order… Each time I came bartenders made fun of me, what was unnecessary and rude. Food was ok, not great.
