Ordered a large Bami again, but got a small one!

Had a fantastic meal at Spaghetteria Javaplein! Loved the concept, informal pasta cafe style. As a family we where seated at a large family table, which added to the friendly atmosphere without being intrusive. The food options were fantastic. My wife is gluten free, which prior research suggested they could manage - and they did with no fuss at all. Whilst not advertised, they do have two kids options - pasta with tomato sauce or butter sauce. Our adventurous 7 year old liked the sound of the prawn gnocchi from the adults menu, so the friendly staff whipped up a kids size portion of that instead. We were very impressed. I had the pistachio and garlic spaghetti, which was brilliant - great flavours. My wife had the mussels with spaghetti which she said was delicious. The deserts where good too. I demolished a tiramisu (though it came with two spoons, so this was probably a hint I was being greedy). Daughter loved the pistachio cannoli, my wife enjoyed a decaf affrogato. This ended up being out favourite place we ate in Amsterdam! I would highly recommend!
