Absolutely the most selfish takeout restaurant I've ever been to, in every way. They don't even bother to remind you that your order is ready, they help all the customers after you first, and then they simply let your food get cold without a single conscience. They're a bunch of sociopaths working there and they add absolutely nothing to our world. Isn't that what you do in the hospitality industry? They don't care about the customers, will probably laugh in your face, and don't care about quality, their name, or their reputation. I'm from Bims, and even there, I've never encountered such lazy, meaningless people as you guys, and that includes the gate and the heron forest.

Very confusing server! Asked for roti with rice, meat and potatoes and just received a box. Then, I was gaslit when telling the server I got the wrong food. Thankfully, I was given a shrimp sandwich. The food was tasty, however I had stomach problems the next day. Additionally, the meat had way too much bone. Would not recommend!

Today my mother ordered from Eethuis Roos through Thuisbezorgd, and we're still shocked by what happened. The delivery driver who delivered our order was wearing a balaclava. This is absolutely unacceptable and creates a very unsafe situation at the door. When I reported this to the restaurant, all I was told was: "They're not our delivery drivers." There was no understanding, no apology, and no attempt to consider the customer's safety. They even started arguing, while I could still see my mother shaking with fear. The police have since been to our restaurant, and there's camera footage of the incident. I find it incomprehensible that a restaurant would handle a serious report from a customer who felt threatened in this way. This experience was anything but customer-friendly and certainly not safe. We will never order from them again.

Excellent, fast, and delicious. Communal seating is shared with other eateries. Sandwiches are inexpensive.

Baked banana was truly excellent. The satay sauce was delicious, and the banana was crunchy and sweet. The rolls were also very tasty. Be careful with the pepper if you can't tolerate it. I definitely recommend the cha sieuw.

Went there for the first time today. I was a bit hesitant because of some negative reviews. Well, it's amazing. The food is incredibly delicious. The service was perfect. Clean and organized. Fantastic!! A woman who was also waiting was also very enthusiastic and said she went there often. I'm going back in three weeks because tomorrow I'm going to Suriname myself. This meal was a welcome surprise. I'm looking forward to more meals from this place. Highly recommended. P.S. I had a delicious meal.

The kale bami was not ok and certainly not tasty, it also looked old and abandoned and it tasted and smelled very strange.

Good food. Fresh. Ordered beef rendang white rice and mixed veggies. I bought togo box and the nice asian lady reheat it and wrapped it properly. I will definitely buy my take away dinner again.

Delicious food, would recommend the Lamb Roti with the addition of the egg very flavourful. Great menu definitely try it!

We arrived during rush hour (it was incredibly busy), and the girls behind the counter were working incredibly hard without losing their friendliness. You don't see that often when there's a certain workload! Hats off to those girls! The food was also delicious. We had a saoto and a nasi chicken satay. Definitely worth coming back 💪🏻

I had bami chicken and pointed cabbage. The bami was soaked in sauce and salt, and I had to search for the pointed cabbage. The chicken was good. But overall, I didn't like it. You pay €10.15 for a small portion, which is a waste of money. I often get things there, but this was really not good.🥴

I ordered a chicken noodle and a saoto. The chicken noodle was okay, but the saoto??? The saoto had too much oil, which made me nauseous and gave me heartburn. The yellow pepper was too dark, often spoiled by that, and my egg yolk wasn't yellow anymore but dark green on the outside, so my egg wasn't good either. If I'd read all these bad reviews beforehand, I could have saved my 20 euros. I do have to admit, the lady who helped me was friendly. But I'll never order food from them again!

I ordered rolls, one with pepper and sour and the other without. I also ordered a bara with pepper and sour and two Vietnamese spring rolls. It took ages for the food to finally arrive, and then the bara was completely soaked with pepper, making it inedible because all you could taste was pepper. The roll without pepper and sour was also completely soaked with pepper (apparently I didn't read the comment), and the second roll, which was supposed to have pepper and sour, was completely soaked and inedible, just like the bara. I called the store and asked if something had gone wrong, and the woman immediately became defensive, saying I should have ordered pepper and sour separately. I explained that I'd ordered from them before and that the amount was "normal," but that something had clearly gone wrong this time. This couldn't be right, and it turned out I wasn't used to anything! A huge disappointment, especially because of the girl on the phone who was so rude. She needs a customer service course, as complaints aren't taken seriously at all. In the end, everything goes to waste except for the two spring rolls you paid €5 for. It's a waste of money to order here because you're not taken seriously at all!

I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about other food cultures.

Expensive sandwiches for inferior quality. There were tendons all over the chicken (hard bone-like pieces). Really not tasty and for almost 5 euros per sandwich not worth it.. You better go to the south-east! Sandwiches there 3 euros and much tastier.. Staff is very nice! But it really could be better

Nasi burnt, tasteless only salt. Chicken ketjap also burnt. You know this is not right and still give it to the delivery person. Shame on you a bit. The delivery person was supposed to come at 16:45, he was there at 18:00.

I made it very clear at Surinaams Eethuis Rose that I have a gluten allergy. An employee indicated that I could safely eat the nasi. When I took my order, I saw that there was ketjap in the rice that contained gluten. Because I could not eat my food because of it, I immediately went back and calmly and politely asked for a new container or my money back. To my surprise, I was spoken to in an unfriendly and smart-alecky manner. The employee completely denied responsibility and repeated several times that it was ‘my own fault’ – despite the fact that I had clearly reported my allergy in advance. She indicated that the Nasi did indeed contain gluten. No effort was made to solve the problem or to think along. In the end, I was left with a meal of €11.25 that I could not eat. This is not only unfriendly to customers, but also risky for people with food allergies. Very unfortunate and unprofessional.

Always get it yourself! Ordered home delivery today for my birthday and for the first time I am very dissatisfied! The coke was not sent and when I call the restaurant they do not answer. The only option via the chatbot of Thuisbezorgd is that you will receive a refund within 3 days! Too bad, no soft drinks! Furthermore, no vegetables at all with the dishes, even though you pay extra delivery costs and service costs. This is really a shame!

I see some reviews from some foodies here reporting that the Chicken is burnt. because it is caramelized But that's because you're used to that delicious, snow-white chicken fillet. But that's just in bad taste.

Very tasty sandwiches with vegan options. I tried them Tempeh and Tofu, both are good. They also have rolls and bowls, which I didn't try here.

I've been coming here for years and since they hired a new guy the service has really improved. Previously you could wait at least 15 minutes for 2 sandwiches. Since he works there, you have your order within 5 minutes. Awesome! Keep up the good work and give the new boy the appreciation he deserves.

I order here regularly for work and private purposes. The food has a good price-quality ratio, portions are also sufficient. Very pleased with how quickly they handle orders every time. Always friendly and prompt service when picking up. I don't think everything is worth repeating so far, but mainly because some things, such as the nasi, taste a bit simple and the bakkeljauw is just too salty but certainly not bad. I haven't tasted everything here yet, but one thing is certain: the saoto soup is really great!

Too bad you close so early! Best saoto soup in Amsterdam West. The noodles were mediocre. Good sauces, nice and spicy!! Sours just tasty, old-school, not too crazy. I'll just come back for a saoto and a sandwich.

Got food last week, not customer friendly really with a great attitude, food was really bland, pepper was watery, my child could even eat it, bakkeljauw had so many bones that I only ate the cassava Kerri chicken was inedible, no taste at all Stewed chicken with rice had no Gravy completely dry also And I ended up with a lot of diarrhea! You're getting worse and worse! Do something to teach your staff to become more customer-friendly and not gossip about customers behind their counters with others

We are from the area and eat here regularly and always very satisfied! We are real fans of Surinamese cuisine and always eat the best here!

Took an hour and a half for order to arrive. Roti chicken fillet was bone-in with bits of bone and cartilage everywhere. While it should be boneless. It was also quite bland.

There was a big dirty hair in my food. I ordered two portions. The lady at the cash register did not want to give my money back for the 2nd portion. This while my two orders really come from 1 portion. The idea that I now have to eat a second portion that already contained a hair! Gatverredamme. I will never come back here and will not recommend it to anyone again. Not customer friendly at all. Never again

Surinamese people are lazy, first you have to wait a long time for your turn to order and then wait a long time for your food

Bought a few meals on location, including roti with chicken. Later in the evening we wanted to eat and the roti plate turned out not to be available. Called by telephone and 2 roti plates and cookies were delivered within 30 minutes for the inconvenience. Been coming there for years, delicious food and good service.

Helaas erg lange wachttijd, waren gewoon mijn bestelling vergeten terwijl ik daar stond te wachten. Rotirol kip met extra peper en warm meenemen. Proefde echt geen peper, de rotirol was lauw tot koud. Smaak was matig. Was wel goed gevuld.

We were visiting Amsterdam for three days and two out of three days we had our meal here. We wanted to come for third day as well but they open 11 am and our flights were at 02 pm. The food was delicious and fresh, service ladies were pleasant and prices were reasonable. I recommend this place to anyone who has the taste buds for south Asian food.

Heerlijk eten, keurige zaak, vriendelijke mensen, topper..

Al twee keer hier eten afgehaald en het eten is lekker, personeel is vriendelijk en niet een al te lange wachttijd. Vandaag bij thuiskomst kwam ik er helaas achter dat ze de vlees bij de Moksi Alesi vergeten waren mee te geven, terwijl ik dat wel besteld had. Heb ze opgebeld en ze boden netjes hun excuses aan en kwamen snel met een goede oplossing. Een aanrader!

Bami doks veel te rammend zout, rotirol heel saai en matig gevuld, satésaus waterig, zuur niet zuur genoeg. Bediening heel aardig maar eten best wel teleurstellend.

Ik kom er al jaren. De broodjes zijn gevuld en heerlijk. Het is vaak druk, maar zeker de moeite waard.

Altijd lekker een echte familie onderneming een topzaak de soutosoup is heerlijk en ook de broodjes kipkerry goed gevuld en met zuur en de bami of nasi kun je naar wens invullen en alles is halal iedereen kan daar dus terecht voor een Surinaamse maaltijd en kwaliteit altijd goed.

Bami besteld. De kip was koud en goor de bami zelf en boontjes waren opzich te doen nooit meer dat ik hier eet !

Lekker eten, er is van alles wat.

Lekkerste eten. En Dirk is een topper. Die maakt altijd eieren. En zijn heerlijk. Alles is daar heerlijk!

Eten was geweldig, alleen erg jammer als we bellen om het eten op een bepaalde tijd op te halen dat we evengoed achteraan in de rij moeten staan en als nog 20 min moeten wachten op alle anderen omdat ze daar het eten nog klaar voor moeten maken terwijl ons eten allang klaar stond…. Dan hadden we net zo goed niet kunnen bellen en was ons eten nog warm geweest.

Broodjes, snacks en volledige gerechten. Voor de liefhebber van Surinaams eten is dit het walhalla! De broodjes zijn van die echte Surinaamse broodjes. Half hard en lekker luchtig. Het beleg; royaal! Ze zijn hier niet gierig! De smaak; om je vingers bij op te eten. Het broodje ketjap kip is geniaal en de pom.... man oh man, wat lekker! Aanrader is ook een al dan niet gevulde Bara. En als je echte trek hebt, kun je plaatsnemen aan een tafeltje in de food court en genieten van een flink bord eten. Diverse kip, rund en lamsvlees gerechten prijken op de menukaart en natuurlijk ontbreekt het niet aan diverse varianten Roti. Maar ook Telo, Saoto en heerlijke kip samosa's. Kortom, voor ieder wat wils bij Surinaams eethuis Rose.

Als Rosalie of haar broer er niet zijn, gaat het helemaal mis. Erg jammer om dit te zien. De rotirol en pom zijn lekker maar ik hou het bij afhalen. Hier bestel ik nooit meer en ze zijn de bezorgkosten van 4 euro niet waard want bestellen bij hun is een ramp!! Ik geef het 2 sterren omdat de rotirol en pom lekker zijn

Heerlijk kipsate gegeten met bami, vriendelijk personeel!

Heerlijk Surinaams eten en betaalbaar. Ook om mee te nemen. Veel keus Het ligt niet aan hen maar het gezamenlijke terras is niet bijzonder gezellig.

Echt heerlijk gegeten hier hebben via thuisbezorgd besteld en het waren goedgevulde bakken met echt lekker eten. Ook nog eens halal!

Heerlijke roti Aanbevelingswaardig

Roti Rol is wel heel mager gevuld voor wat je betaalt, volgestopt met aardappelen. Saoto soep en de bara's smaken overigens verder wel prima.

D.m.v ubereats een bestelling geplaatst. Twee porties bami met kipfilet en een portie nasi met kipfilet. De nasi was erg lekker, maar de bami was aan de zoutige kant en de kipfilet hard/chewy. De kipfilet was heel erg teleurstellend, als dit verbeterd zou worden dan zou de beoordeling veel hoger zijn. Wij kregen drie madame Jeanette pepper sausjes erbij, dit was voldoende en lekker pittig. De zuur dat wij kregen was heel erg karig het was 1 portie, terwijl er drie maaltijden waren besteld. Dit zou niet erg zijn als er een optie was voor extra zuur tegen betaling, maar dit was niet het geval op het (ubereats) menu. In de toekomst zal ik wellicht opnieuw de nasi bestellen, maar dan met kip ipv kipfilet. Hopend dat het dan een betere optie zal zijn, want de nasi zelf was heerlijk.

Op zich wel oké eten, maar ik betaal nu al drie keer voor een roti met ei en krijg de ei er gewoon niet bij. Jammer van die ene euro die ik iedere keer hier kwijt voor ben. Erg slordig
