It's wonderful and cozy there! You can eat as much as you like, you choose!

Went for Christmas. It was so extensive, hence the significantly higher price. Didn't find many extras afterward. A bit disappointed.

Halal food and quality is very good.

Seven different cuisines. So something for everyone.

I was dont know that they are expensive on Christmas.. that is really not well. The price was 62 € per person. I had 8 guests so it was too expensive. V bad thing that they make the prices high because of Christmas.. they should even make less prices.. not recommended.

Okay overall, but way too crowded and the quality isn't always the best. A bit too salty for my taste. On weekends, the wait time is usually long, especially at the cook's station.

It was a nice restaurant. The food was good, the service was good. It was just missing a tray so I could grab more, but you have to walk around every time for something, which is a bit less.

If you want to eat halal, this is a good place... no pork at all. According to the staff, it says so on the website, but I didn't check it myself. The reception was good. The temperature inside was also good. There was a limited selection, but plenty of choice for halal eaters. This was our only and last time... we left after an hour. Parking is fantastic. Initially, we had 2.5 hours of free parking, and there was plenty of parking.

The food is delicious and there's something for everyone. The people clearing tables, etc., are friendly. The cooks are very unfriendly; they should be addressed about their behavior.

Had my daughter her birthday and my sister her birthday at the same day. I brought my own cake and requested if it was possible to bring to our table when we were finished eating. I did not wanted any discounts because of the 2 having their birthday just wanted some extra service. I found out that they don't bring any cake to your table unlike other buffet places. I had to wait 10 minutes to have it found in the refrigerator and had to do everything my self and after all this a girl from the reception came to our table to request us to leave because we were 10min late. This was late at night and there was nobody coming to take the table after us. I found it very shocking to be treated like this and will be my last time visiting this place or any of my family members. I already had a big issue as i can't order any meat to have to cooked at this place as it takes 30 minutes waiting in line to order and already avoided this place if we wanted to plan a family buffet or a business buffet.

The service is excellent. The atmosphere is great. There are plenty of food and choices.

It's not the staff's fault, but this isn't my thing. I don't feel like I've been out to dinner. This is a factory. Not my choice. The food quality is quite good, and the staff is also good.

The food is okay, but the service is terrible. Your child waits 45 minutes for a hamburger, then it's given to someone else, and when you bring the child back to complain, the response I get is "not hungry, not hungry." In other words, the chef decides the child isn't hungry anymore? It's beyond belief. A complaint at the reception desk wasn't taken seriously. Never again. Also, the people are way too noisy; it really is a "market." If you want a quiet meal, look elsewhere.

All-you-can-eat concept, which this restaurant perfectly fulfills. Nothing special otherwise. Plenty of variety in the food, though. There's a small play area for children up to 8 years old (I'd say). And there's ample parking.

You have plenty of options to eat, but speaking of hygiene, ugh. I now have a bacteria in my body; I've had food poisoning!

Too crowded and chaotic and you have to wait quite a long time at the grill. This was on a Saturday. I don't know about other days but I also found it very hot where we were. Toilets didn't look clean. I found it disappointing for what you spend.

I went to this restaurant for the first time last weekend. Due to the renovations and the broken elevator, the route to the entrance was downright strange and surprising. This made it inaccessible for people with limited mobility. The food was excellent. Plenty of choices and everything was nice and hot. Service was good and fast. I didn't find the atmosphere special, but it was just okay. It was incredibly busy for takeout, which is hardly surprising considering there are so many seats. There are plenty of parking spaces right outside, and there's also a small shopping center nearby.

This bar-restaurant is undoubtedly one of the nicest spots in the neighborhood. The cocktails were innovative, beautifully presented, and delicious. The tapas we ordered were fresh and varied—from spicy shrimp to creamy hummus. The service was fast, friendly, and always with a smile. The atmosphere was lively but not chaotic. The decor combined industrial elements with warm colors, creating a unique ambiance. The music was perfectly matched to the evening. The tables were spaced far enough apart for comfortable seating. Everything ran smoothly, despite the crowd. I'd happily return here for an evening with friends.

Pros: The variety of food and drinks is really good! There's a wide selection of salads, appetizers, main courses, and desserts. The seafood is especially excellent, including fresh oysters, tuna, real crab (not surimi), and lobster. Cons: The quality of the meat has declined slightly compared to last year, and you have to wait about ten minutes for grilled fish or meat. Suggestion: Foodmarket could come up with a more efficient approach here, because you also pay based on time. About 20 to 25% of that time is spent queuing to place your order and waiting for the dish to be ready—especially if you want freshly grilled fish or meat.

I don't think people who eat meat, fish, and chicken here and enjoy it have ever had truly good meat. It tastes like nothing and stinks. It's incredibly crowded, causing lines to form. It feels like a two-star hotel with hungry tourists. This was our first and last visit. A waste of money.

I didn't like the meat, and the chicken wasn't good. The man grilling the fish treats people poorly. I didn't know I had to choose three pieces of fish, since it was my first time at the restaurant, but he yelled at me that I was entitled to three. He could have conveyed the information a bit more politely. Everything else was delicious. Thanks for everything.

I had so much to choose from, it was delicious and thankfully halal. Three things weren't halal, including duck, marshmallow, and lasagna. But otherwise, it was so enjoyable. ... I think it's the best all-you-can-eat restaurant in the world.

Food was good but nothing special… one can find tastier alternatives in a restaurant but - and this is why we usually go to a buffet - there is sooo much to choose from! Overall an ok experience ☺️ Service is fast and very helpful 😉

All in all, a really great visit. The food is delicious and the staff is really friendly. Great selection of drinks, including freshly tapped beers (Heineken and Texels). You can help yourself to non-alcoholic drinks in small bottles from the refrigerators. If you arrive after 4:30 p.m., parking is free (otherwise, 2.5 hours are free on the street and in the parking garage).

It's quite a drive from where we live. But I went here for dinner thanks to TikTok videos. All the food looked well-presented and tasted great, with even nicer ingredients than you'd find in similar places. Unfortunately, I found the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant to be much worse than in Utrecht. We sat by the window, overlooking an industrial area. Luckily, my car was parked under the window, so I had a view. There are quite a few strange characters walking around and between the cars. There's a parking garage next door, but there was also space in front. You have to pay in front until 7 pm. Finding the entrance was also a bit of a challenge. You have to use the escalators (which weren't working) or the elevators, one of which wasn't working either. We felt that detracted from the overall experience a bit. Anyway, the food was fine, and that's what matters.

A typical all-you-can-eat restaurant in the Netherlands. A kids' corner was missing, though.

Mi esposa y yo lo visitamos regularmente y siempre nos impresiona la variedad, frescura y calidad de la comida. Éste no es el típico buffet. El concepto es "todo lo que puedas comer", pero con un toque refinado y dinámico. Reserva una franja horaria (2, 2). 5 o 3 horas) y, dentro de ese tiempo, puede explorar múltiples estaciones de comida, cada una de las cuales ofrece algo único. Hay una estación WOK donde eliges tus ingredientes crudos y se los entregas al chef para que los prepare frescos con tu elección de 7 salsas diferentes. Las parrillas teppanyaki, una para carne y otra para pescado, te permiten seleccionar cortes como cordero, pollo o mariscos frescos y cocinarlos frente a ti. También hay una estación de barbacoa donde puedes pedir filetes como T-bone, cordero o incluso una hamburguesa con queso a la parrilla a pedido. Una cinta transportadora de sushi recorre su propia sección, con sashimi, ostras, vieiras y otras delicias. También encontrarás una barra completa de sopas y ensaladas, platos Chino, Coreano y Español (incluida una deliciosa paella) y mucho más. Toda la experiencia está bien organizada y el ambiente es animado pero cómodo. Best AYCE and D I've ever experienced. Free parking after 6 PM. We regularly go here with a large group for the friendly atmosphere and delicious food and drinks.

I’ve been coming to The Food Market Amsterdam for over a year now, and it’s easily one of my favorite places in the city. My wife and I visit regularly, and we’re always impressed with the variety, freshness, and quality of the food. This is not your typical buffet. The concept is all you can eat, but with a refined and dynamic twist. You book a time slot (2, 2.5 or 3 hours), and within that time you can explore multiple food stations — each offering something unique. There’s a WOK station where you choose your raw ingredients and hand them over to the chef to prepare fresh with your choice of 7 different sauces. The teppanyaki grills — one for meat and one for fish — let you select cuts like lamb, chicken, or fresh seafood, and have them cooked right in front of you. There’s also a barbecue station where you can ask for steaks like T-bone, lamb, or even a cheeseburger grilled on demand. A sushi conveyor belt runs through its own section, with sashimi, oysters, scallops, and other delicacies. You’ll also find a full soup and salad bar, Chinese, Korean, and Spanish dishes (including delicious paella), and much more. The entire experience is well-organized and the atmosphere is lively yet comfortable. It’s a perfect place for food lovers who enjoy trying different cuisines in one sitting, without compromising on quality. Highly recommended for a fun, flavorful evening out!

We arrived right at opening time, 4:30 PM, so you’d expect the food to be hot. But that was just wishful thinking—unfortunately, all the pre-made buffet dishes were ice cold. The freshly prepared dishes were warm, but sadly disappointing in taste. I expected more variety and options, but in my opinion, it’s all just overhyped. Definitely not worth the money. I’ve had far better wok food for much less.

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago, will also be the last time. On social media it showed that it is a great restaurant. Unfortunately it was very disappointing. A great arrival hall, with a long line. You would think that the rest of the restaurant is nicely decorated. We were sitting against a wall somewhere. First impression I think a great restaurant. But before you are helped at the grill you have to wait in a mega long line. As soon as everything is taken, you may have to wait for the next round. You wait here for about 15/20 minutes for your small pieces of meat. Furthermore, the sushi was on the dry side. Other dishes were okay, but not that much taste. Was positive about the fruit, it was fresh and clean.

Lovely and great was with small group there. I did not pay myself so do not know the prices. Too bad was that the escalator did not work and we had to go to the 2nd floor. Then we were told that there is a lift.

Good tasty food, friendly staff. A bit on the pricey side. But...the guests. The nonchalant and careless. My goodness, what a mess they make of it. I see a lot of waste, because they scoop way too much and just leave it there. There is little awareness that animals have suffered and died for them... and then they (their meat) are still in good condition, go ahead, thrown away. As if it all means nothing and there is of course plenty of good food. Heartbreaking, so not worth repeating.

Everything is super!!! Although it is a bit annoying to wait in line for meat and only be able to buy three pieces of meat, other dishes and sushi are very good. I should point out that it is not cheap :))

The BBQ chef had a very bad attitude. I only had one round of food during the 2-hour meal. The website said that there were unlimited drinks, but in reality there were various restrictions!

Went here for dinner with my girlfriend at the beginning of April. We were really looking forward to the food as everything online looked great. but it was a very big disappointment. upon entering there was a dancing panda and a woman playing the violin (?) crazy, but we sat down and soon headed to the buffet. it looked okay, not as nice as it looked online. once served we sat down. the food was so tasteless, just bland. it honestly felt like I was eating a microwave meal. the atmosphere was not warm or cozy at all, it actually looked like a decorated canteen. it was so immensely busy at the wok that we couldn't even stand there, all the other dishes were really not worth it. not even the sushi. there were people walking around with JUGS of beer, lots of large groups, it really wasn't good. in short, wouldn't recommend it. but I understand if you still go after this review, because it looks good online

Good restaurant with a lot of choice, also for kids. There is plenty and all fresh. Just a shame that there are no allergens listed anywhere! In this day and age that really should be standard. Even if you ask the chefs, the answer is also vague. It is very difficult for people with allergies and will therefore not return quickly. With a little more attention to it, it would be perfect!

Smaller compared to other all you can eat restaurants. Could be a bit crowded but it's a very cozy restaurant with fast clean up.

Een toffe plek met een ontzettend gevarieerd aanbod. Van salade en soepbar, wokgerechten en noodles tot flame grill vlees, vlees en vis van de plaat en allerlei andere vissoorten. Je vindt er ook sushi, Aziatische gerechten, soepen en een flinke selectie aan gefrituurde snacks. Voor de zoetekauw is er genoeg te genieten: vers fruit, Belgische wafels, poffertjes, chocoladefonteinen, taartjes en waarschijnlijk vergeet ik nog een heleboel. Voor de kleintjes is er een leuke speelhoek. Bijna alles is halal (aangegeven op zwarte bordjes met een ster). Niet voor iedereen een pluspunt, maar hé… who cares

Terrible! Communication is very poor. Upon entering I indicated that 2 more girls would arrive a little later. I could have at least gotten advice to wait a while. Because apparently our time was already running out. We were just about to get dessert when a girl came to our table to announce that we had to leave? After talking to her and explaining that we had started later, the manager could not talk to us because he was "eating". There was a boy at the counter who was very rude. It was fucking 9 o'clock? What difference would it make if, given the miscommunication from your side, we would just eat dessert and then leave? No.. a half hour discussion.. (in which we could have gotten a dessert🫠) it's actually about the principle but yes... if that's how you want to treat people?? We have been cut back on time and food. I have never been treated like I did at the food market. Take an example of Jin Lai Haarlem! They are really hospitable!!

Nice restaurant to eat with family or friends. Fairly large range. In return everything is mediocre in taste. But you can't have everything.

Everything is moah but not for a moah amount. I have never been to an all you can eat where the staff confronted customers about their behavior. However, this was necessary here, but unfortunately it has insufficient effect. There is a certain audience that unfortunately ruins the experience for the rest, crowding, general unhygienic behavior (the tubs of ice cream were more mixed than really 1 flavor) and just letting the offspring run around and scream. In addition, the food itself is not really great at all. There's really no taste to anything. If you're going for nice photos then that's fine, but for the rest it's better to skip it and go to the KFC next door, where you have better food for less.

Second time yesterday at the food market. The first time was fine, I have to be honest, but unfortunately much less so yesterday. You can see in the photo, chicken wings raw on the inside... the part where pieces of meat are grilled on request (chicken fillet, lamb, shrimp, etc.) the chef, who was not customer friendly at all, even very grumpy towards the customer, used 1 tongs to grab and grill all types of meat. So he takes raw chicken, then raw veal and then raw lamb. He grills it with the same tongs, and then serves it with the same tongs. This is too bizarre for words and a genuine danger. Cross-contamination is no joke and it can make you extremely ill. In essence, all bacteria simply remain on the tongs, and when served they are transferred to your meat. Wonder that me and my partner didn't get sick, last time for us here.

The Foodmarket offers an impressive variety of dishes of excellent quality. Despite the crowds, I really enjoyed my visit. The atmosphere was lively and the offering was diverse, which made choosing a dish a true adventure. What struck me most was the speed with which the plates were removed from the tables. This ensured that the space always remained clean and inviting, which is a big plus in a busy setting. Plus, it's great that you can park for 2.5 hours for free! This makes it even easier to plan a visit without having to worry about parking costs. All in all, I highly recommend the Foodmarket

Very nice restaurant, there is a lot of choice, the food is tasty, the staff is nice and the toilets were clean. I really recommend this restaurant!

After dinner I was nauseous all evening/night to the point of vomiting. I wanted to visit this restaurant so much that we booked a hotel especially for the weekend, but it was disappointing the whole night apart, a shame.

Met toch wel wat verbazing lees ik de diverse (negatieve) reviews hier. Wij hebben genoten van het lekkere eten en de uitgebreide keuze. Voor iedereen is er wel wat lekkers te vinden. De service is ook helemaal prima. Het was onze 2e keer bij de Foodmarket en het is zeker niet de laatste keer. Absoluut een aanrader, tenzij je niet van een 'All You Can Eat' concept houdt.

Made a reservation and stayed here on Saturday February 1. The staff is friendly, the general atmosphere was good, and that was it. Typical all you can eat concept where the audience tries to eat as much as possible within the shortest possible time frame. This means long lines, small portions and visitors who cannot wait their turn and simply rudely crawl in accordance with their upbringing. Given the crowds, the "cooks" did not have time to prepare the dishes properly. Little flavor or excessively spiced. The last time for me and another learning experience. Rather spend more for a decent way of culinary enjoyment.
