Coincidentally, I went in today for a quick snack. Unfortunately, there was too little supply, so we decided to only bring two pieces of bacon biscuit to take home with our coffee. In retrospect, we shouldn't have done this. These were so dry and actually no longer fit to eat. Which is of course very annoying, unfortunately I decided to throw it away. For two small pieces of spekkoek and then €7,- for asking, it must be fresh, right. Of course they know that too. For us it means that this is the first and certainly the last time that we will ever order something again. As far as we are concerned, it is not recommended to order something here because you don't have to be here for the quality!!

Way too expensive for what you get. Half full container and you pay €18 for that. Makes no sense at all. In an average Indonesian restaurant you pay €12 for a container and it is overfull that the lid can just be closed

Satay very tasty. Favorite Pepes Ikan, although I think the portion is small. Too small.

Bland tasteless food. Took several dishes home for 3 people. The sate betawi, which is made of tenderloin, tough and tasteless with very little ketjap sauce. The individual dishes in very small containers (few) and expensive and not much taste and poor quality meat. No I will never go here again. I have gotten food here twice before because I did not feel like cooking and it is actually never tasty. I always thought I should not be so lazy. But now I paid more than 90 euros and that is really crazy for such little and bad food. Because of January 1st I could only go here. I cannot judge the atmosphere, but I never see diners in the restaurant.

Price-quality ratio is hard to find. You pay €18 on average for a nasi/bami. For that amount you hope to get a large portion. Unfortunately the portion is half filled. Food itself is quite tasteless. It's not dirty, but it's not good Indonesian food. For comparison, in Amsterdam or in other warungs in The Hague, you can put it together yourself and your takeaway container will be filled in such a way that the lid just fits on it and the average cost will be. 11/12€ . If you have the option to go to another warung (for example the one at Frederikstraat which is closest) I would definitely take the trouble to walk the extra 800m or otherwise take another to an Indonesian warung

Leuk Indonesisch restaurant, erg authentiek. Heel vriendelijke bediening en lekkere, smaakvolle gerechten. Bovendien helemaal niet prijzig.

Once again a tasty rice table for a fair price, friendly service, nothing wrong with that.

Wederom een lekkere rijsttafel voor een nette prijs, vriendelijke bediening, niets mis mee. Mooie mix van groenten- en vleesgerechten.

Vroeger was het eten redelijk goed maar de laatste tijd valt het erg tegen: weinig groenten, vlees en veel nasi of bami. De prijs/kwaliteit valt erg tegen!

The food is Halal and very tasty.

The staff is terrible. We arrived 20:05; We waited to be seated, nobody came. We asked at the bar, can we eat here? You have less than one hour. Ok, we have a small child so no problem. He answered; no, for me it’s a problem after one hour. All available tables were still dirty, so he asked us where we wanted to sit. We said no problem, he answered again, no for me a problem because I clean it. After waiting ten minutes at the table to order, we ordered the biggest item on the menu ( rice table), whereafter he answered; Absolutely not possible after 8, we want to go home. What an unpleasant experience.

I ordered a takeway costing €62 for three people. There was not enough food and the quality of the sate and peanut sauce was very poor. I bought nasi rames speciaal x 2 and a sate meal. I am very disappointed with our meals and will not order food from this restaurant again.

Tasty Indonesian food. Service can get a bit overwhelmed when full. Reasonably-priced menu.

Sympathiek, traditioneel, Indonesch familierestaurant/eethuisje in de Haagse Indische buurt. Hier met collega’s op doordeweekse avond gegeten. Prima kwaliteit van eten. Zaak zat vol hetgeen bediening niet helemaal op ingesteld was. Kwamen wat handen tekort. Leuke plek voor een laagdrempelig etentje. Afhalen is ook mogelijk trouwens.

A really tasty and authentic Indonesian restaurant! What a nice surprise! For sure, everyone can find something on the menue - from vegetarian, through chicken/beef/lamb up to fish. I had a small soup upfront and sweet and spicy grilled chicken as a main course. I would definitely come back and try other delicacies. It is possible to pay by card, however, not with credit card.

Wel lekker,maar vrij vlak eten. Gierige porties en ook echt Archipelbuurt-prijzen. Paar stukjes vlees,wat boontjes en verder veel bami. Bij Bogor b.v. krijg je voor minder geld een echte portie eten.

Viel mee loempia's waren niet zelf gemaakt Kip smaakte niet vers. Drankjes en Sate zijn te adviseren

Afgelopen weekend geweldig goed gegeten en, speciaal voor naar Den Haag gereisd. Echt de moeite waard, dank!

2 sterren voor de sate kambing en tjendol. De nasi was veeeeel te pittig. En ik hou van pittig eten maar dit was niet te doen. Ook minder sterren omdat ik me er niet welkom voelde.

Altijd goed en lekker Indisch eten zonder consessies aan de Europese smaak. Goed vlees en verse groenten. Lekker buiten gezeten met mijn vrouw. Dit restaurant biedt ook complete rijsttafels en afhaal.

Well prepared Indonesian 'take away' food, cooked by a pleasant and authentic Indonesian cook, who is also 'kepala besar' of the 'toko'. The price-quality ratio looks to be in order, as well.

Hands down best Indonesian restaurant in the Hague. Food is very affordable, staff is friendly. Highly recommended!

Very good food for a reasonable price

Leuke kleine tent, lekker gegeten. Ik had kip met rijst, niet al te ingewikkeld. De smaak was goed en voor mij was de hoeveelheid ook precies genoeg. De kip viel van het bot, altijd een goed teken! Je kunt daar ook eten afhalen.

Het is verstandig om te reserveren, vooral in de weekend. Van te voren bellen en later komen afhalen kan ook!
