We planned a gathering with a big group and had a really bad experience. A person who introduced themselves as a manager was so rude for no reason. They did not really want to cooperate even tho we have made plans with them beforehand and we did not ask for anything extraordinary. Somehow we managed to solve the problem but the whole time I felt very uncomfortable after that situation. I don't know why but this person treated us like we are aliens. Would never go back there ever again. Don't recommend for big group gatherings.

Beautiful cosy space with delicious food choices. I find the portions to be generous and always carefully put together. You can tell the chefs are well trained. Atmosphere is casual, perfect for a brunch with friends!

The food and (warm) drinks here were great. I have been to Dignita more often in Amsterdam. So seeing (and tasting) that the food in The Hague is also this good, proves to me that Dignita is consistent in the quality of their dishes (which does not always have to be the case for restaurants with multiple locations)! The menu has nice and inventive options - also vegan/veggy! The staff is really nice and helpful. The ambience is a little different from the Amsterdam locations (a bit less trendy/modern decoration), but that does not take away from the rest of the positives of the place. Definitely a place to often return to!

Price/quality ratio was out of proportion.

Enjoyed our lunch of poached eggs on toast sitting at their terrace outside the restaurant. Service was friendly and the food good and reasonably priced. A great spot to sit and watch the world go by. Plenty of tables inside too if preferred.

Great gluten free options (I got offered gluten free bread which was not the usual ultra processed stuff but full of nuts and seeds). Water bought out to the table without asking (fantastic). Kid friendly with lovely good value options. I had the Turkish eggs. Very welcoming friendly staff. Excellent English spoken. Thank you! We’ll be back!

Perfect brunch spot in The Hague on a street lined up with small boutiques and several cosy cafés. I loved the food and hospitality for sure but more importantly, the comfort of their terrace on a sunny day is unmatched.

This places serves complimentary water, which is a rarity in the Netherlands. We had the Chook Norris and Umami avocado toast. Chook norris sandwich was a bit undersalted and a tad smaller than I expected. Also the nachos would’ve liked something to be dipped in. Overall great place to eat, staff was super friendly and the terrace was very cozy.

Some dishes are good, but the yogurt bowl and the brioche are absolutely overpriced. Good atmosphere, but the portions size and what you pay for it affects the overall experience.

The food is tasty and staff is really friendly, but I was very disturbed by a mouse running around the restaurant. I wonder how it is guaranteed that the food isn’t contaminated and hygienic enough?

It was a truly wonderful experience! The music was not too loud, the staff was extremely polite, and the food was made to perfection. I asked them to prepare a dish in a certain way, and they did. I would definitely come again and recommend them to all my friends.

Highly recommended. Delicious food! Must visit when in Den Haag (they also have two others in Amsterdam) as it conveys an important message about the dignity of human life first and foremost. The staff is wonderful and kind—be sure to ask for Toos and hear her story about how she started it all. It’s both very inspiring and humbling. A true #impacthero.

Had a lovely dinner with a group of female founders here. We got to know the story of this restaurant from the owner. It was incredible touching and inspiring. It's a very cozy place with great food, with special mention to the tomato salad and the delicious cheese cake.

One of the best breakfasts we have had in the Netherlands. The service was friendly and prompt. We ordered the Benny Boy and Zucchini fritters; the food was delicious and very well presented.

Best eggs benny i’ve had in ages

First time: My friend and I both ordered French toast and it was tasty! The service was also good. Second time: Went again with my boyfriend. The portion is rather small and the fruits (oranges, which I find a bit weird) on the French toast are not as good as the first time…

This is a fantastic brunch place. I had the veggie chook Norris sandwich which was every bit as delicious as I’d hoped it would be. Bloody Mary’s were also great. I’ll be going back here.

Great place with a quite vibe, delicious cakes and reasonable coffee. I was positively surprised by the catalan cheesecake and the friendly but discreet staff and will be definitely visiting again. Only issue might be the coffee, though definitely good, it's not better than nearby places. Still it's and by far the most enjoyable quiet coffee place is this rather busy neighbourhood.

Full points! We even went there twice during our stay in The Hague because we were so excited. Here we have the best and creamiest cappuccino we have ever had! Food was great too, super tasty!

We went there with two toddlers on the weekend. No reservation. One of the ladies seemed very friendly and happy to seat us. Another one seemed quite annoyed about it. The friendly lady ended up being our server, thankfully. She was great. The food was yummy, although the hash brown base of the eggs Benedict was a littttle too crunchy on one of them. My daughter enjoyed the kids pancake. The drinks were delicious. They also have a few kids toys which was nice. Overall, I would go back again.

Excellent customer service and food. I ask for almond milk but unfortunately they wouldn’t have it but the staff went to the grocery store and bought it for me. Absolutely amazing place and and highly recommended

I went to dignita in den Haag after trying it in Amsterdam. As usual, it did not disappoint. We had the spiced French toast and the Benny boy. The food was delicious!

Nowadays I find the service to be terrible almost everywhere, but here they are really very friendly and cordial. I thought the food was quite pricey. The menu was original, but I didn't think the flavors were special. I thought the coffee was good and I thought it was a plus that you automatically get a bottle of water!!

First visit here, and I was impressed: delicious food, very friendly and fast service and a cozy atmosphere.

Without a reservation, we could still choose between 2 tables with 2 people at 10:30 am on Saturday. We tried the winter pancake stack and the savory kadaif / sultan's spun filo pan (name changed). I expected more after the 4.7 stars on Google and the photos. The pancakes themselves had no flavor and the toppings were sickly sweet. The tangerine was smoked and really not tasty. I like spicy food, but that was the only flavor that dominated with the savory kadaif, no pistachio or mint or filo pastry to be tasted. With the thin layer of eggplant and zucchini you still had the feeling that you had eaten something (healthy). It looked good inside and nice service, but unfortunately not worth repeating.

A restaurant with a good cause, for example they support people who are at a distance from the labor market. The menu is similar to what they offer in Amsterdam. We went for a lunch. The food was very tasty and the service was friendly and fast. They were good portions in terms of quantity. We certainly didn't go home hungry!

The food is delicious, the decor is cozy and the staff is friendly. However, I thought €4.50 for three small extra pieces of halloumi was quite pricey. But what I especially regretted is that, even though we had reserved in advance, we did not get a decent table. We were seated next to each other at a kind of bar by the window. This is a great place to wait for a table or have a cup of coffee, but not to eat. There were two other people next to us and they were already waiting for a table, so waiting for a decent table to become available was also quite pointless. We had planned in advance to have an extensive lunch, but we left as quickly as possible.

The zeeheldenkwartier has so many good options for a breakfast. Dignita is one of them. I like the relaxing atmosphere, remembers me at Oregon. Modern, but not too much. The food and, the ideas are amazing. I like to try the different things.

Op basis van de foto’s op insta @denhaagfoodguide voor een ontbijt in dit restaurant in de zeeheldenbuurt gekozen. We moesten vanuit de passage in Den-Haag wel 23 minuutjes lopen, maar dit was zéker de moeite waard. We hebben gekozen voor de Benny Boy met gepocheerde eieren op een knapperige aardappel hash met knapperig spek en avocado smash en voor pannenkoeken met gezouten karamel mascarpone en gebruleerde banaan. Beide gerechten waren verrukkelijk en de bediening was ontzettend vriendelijk. Echt een aanrader! Wij komen zeker terug!!

Dignita is a good place to have some coffee and lunch. The atmosphere is cozy and staff is friendly. The food is decent, but nothing too special. There is good vegan brunch options and milk alternatives available for coffee. The vegan chocolate bar for dessert, unfortunately, was very dry and I did not like the taste.

Dignita is een ontbijt/brunch/lunchroom in de bruisende Prins Hendrikstraat in het Zeeheldenkwartier van Den Haag. Sympathiek ogend café, aardig jong personeel, uitgebreide kaart. Men hecht duidelijk aan goede en gezonde produkten. Dat is te proeven ook! Wij genoten alle drie van een goede lunch in een eenvoudig maar smaakvol ingericht café, met terras. Dignita is onderdeel van een keten, in Amsterdam exploiteert men nog drie soortgelijke gelegenheden. Men is lid van een organisatie die zich richt op integreren en opleiden van sociaal zwakke jongeren in de arbeidsmarkt. Goed zo!!
