An excellent Indian restaurant. Good flavors, spicy if you want. Good prices, friendly service. And that in the nicest street in Bussum. What's no to like?

Wij hebben heerlijk gegeten. We waren met4 personen en hebben 4 verschillende gerechten genomen en dat met elkaar gedeeld. Het eten was bijzonder smakelijk en heerlijk gekruid. Wij hadden gekozen voor mild en dat is lekker pittig. Bediening super vriendelijk echt een aanrader.

Geweldig restaurant. Het vriendelijke personeel maakte onze trouwdag onvergetelijk. We hadden het 3 gangen menu. Mixed grill, butter Chicken en lamscurry. Alles zeer smakelijk bereid. Zeer ruime porties, veels teveel voor 2 personen. We hebben wat overbleef meegekregen. We sloten af met een feestelijk nagerecht. Echt een aanrader.

Laat ik beginnen met de goeie dingen. Bediening erg aardig en de papadum en sausje was erg lekker. Vast zijn andere gerechten ook lekker. Maar ik had de butter chicken besteld. En als er iets is wat ik niet lekker vind, is het van die vantevoren voorgekookte kip. Taai smaakloos, je proeft het gewoon direct. Zou echt heel fijn zijn als jullie daar iets mee zouden kunnen doen. Want zolang dat niet is opgelost is het voor mij iig geen optie meer om hier te komen eten.

Heel erg lekker gegeten en ontzettend vriendelijke bediening, zoals altijd. Eten is echt vers en erg veel keuze op de menukaart. Voor het eerst een dessert genomen, wat ook heerlijk was. Niks dan lof.

I thank my brother for letting my try butter chicken for the first time, and especially from DIWALI PALACE!🇮🇳💛 it was love at first taste and its been my favourite food ever since + my pregnancy craving (my baby was build on their butter chicken) lol. 👶 I did try a few other Indian restaurants in the area when they had discounts and they werent half as good to be honest.. Also the (cheese) Naan bread is the best here The only thing i can say is keep doing what you do (and maybe do a discount every once in a while 😜) Thanks a lot for your kindness and great food

Let me start with the positive: the chicken was tasty and garlicky. However; you get the choice between mild medium and hot. If you choose hot in the menu, and then add in the comments that it can be really hot, then it is a bit of a disappointment if it just tastes like Lays paprika in terms of spiciness.

Today I was there for the first time. A great atmosphere combined with a spicy meal. I recommend it. I will definitely come back here. 10/10

The Good: interior is very clean and a good layout. Not Good: the food is very bland and does not add to the description of a North Indian cuisine The hostess is a young college girl who is very inexperienced and unprofessional. I had to get up to place order every time. She was busy at the back eating her dinner with a guy and drinking beer. No one was there to serve or be present on the floor for the customers. I was not impressed at all. Got to try the TAJ MAHAL Indian restaurant down the street in Bussum

Ate here on a Monday evening, initially because it was the only restaurant open. But we certainly didn't regret it! It was all excellent, generous portions, attentive service and fair prices. Recommended!

Cozy restaurant. Really good food made with care and skill. Plenty of choice perhaps too much! The mango kassie was suoerb . I thought €4.50 for one cup of tea was really too expensive. Other than that couldn t fault anything!

Really lovely and delicious food, i'm always ordering for delivery so never being to the place itself, but they never disappoint and always deliver, i have a funny request to add some mintsauce along with the naan-bread and however it is not custom to have those together(i really like the combination, but you cannot order this mint green sauce separately) they always add a small portion for me free of charge. Keep up the good work!!! Love you guys!!

We had ordered Diwali deluxe menu for 2 people. The sabjis were so sweet (we felt like we were having desserts) the starters had a lot of colour and were tasteless. Furthermore, only 1 naan was delivered. Overall a very bad experience for 50 euros.

We had the mixed appetizers. Served without atmosphere, dry with little taste. It looked like the chicken and lamb had been microwaved. The two main courses were okay, but absolutely not special or full of flavor. The service was mainly functional and not very alert. I don't recommend eating here

Have it delivered in Huizen. Was delivered on time as indicated by a very friendly delivery person. Naan with cheese tasted delicious. Dal soup was fine, just stir well. The butter chicken was perfect, creamy sauce and the chicken was juicy and nicely seasoned. This restaurant is highly recommended!

Ik heb hier bij Diwalipalace gisteren Indiaas besteld via Thuisbezorgd met vrienden. Ik bestel niet vaak op thuisbezorgd of een restaurant wat ik niet ken, omdat ik bang ben voor een teleurstelling. De teleurstelling is vaak nog extra groot, als je ergens echt zin in hebt, extra trek hebt, alleen maar goede reviews leest en dan ook nog 50 Euro besteed. Helaas was deze bestelling 1 en al een grote teleurstelling. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Hier bestellen wij nooit meer! Dit was onze bestelling en per gerecht onze mening: 1 [Kipgerechten] Butter chicken € 24,25 Medium, Garlic naan, Wegwerp plastic The butter chicken had total geen smaak. Je proefde iets lichts pittig. Voor de rest een vettige substantie zonder smaak. Het leek op butterchicken maar daar was ook alles mee gezegd. Er kwam ook geen lekkere geur van het eten af, er zat gewoon geen diepte in dit gerecht. Heel erg jammer, want we hadden er zin in en zeker op basis van alle goede reviews, hadden we wel een voldoende van smaak butterchicken verwacht. Dit gerecht krijgt van ons echt een 4/10. 1 [Soepen] Dal soep € 6,50 De dal soep had ook totaal geen smaak, je proefde wat linzen lichtjes, maar totaal geen diepte in de smaak. De structuur was ook niet goed van de soep, het was veels te watterig. Als dan de smaak goed was geweest, hadden we de waterige structuur niet zo erg gevonden. Maar nu was alles aan deze soep gewoon niet goed namelijk; slechte structuur, geen smaak. Ook dit gerecht krijgt hoogstens een 3/10. 1 [Indiaas brood] Garlic naan € 3,95 De Naan zag er in eerste instantie veel belovend uit. Helaas stelde ook de naan teleur. De naan had weinig smaak, de garlic smaak is er amper doorheen gekomen. Het broodje was niet fluffly of luchtig of heel smaakvol. 5/10 1 [Extra's] Basmati rijst € 4,50 De rijst smaakte opzichzelf naar niets, maar had een rare nasmaak. Leek wel of een raar stofje was toegevoegd. Het smaakte een beetje kunstmatig dat stofje. 1 vriend vond de rijst wel lekker, dus het kan ook iets persoonlijk zijn dat sommige mensen een bepaalde smaak of kruidencombinatie beter verdragen dan andere mensen. Dit gerecht krijgt daarom 5/10. 1 [Voorgerechten] Onion bhaji € 6,90 Deze waren vettig en verbrand (De bollen waren letterlijk zwart in plaats van bruin). Desondanks nog het beste gerecht van deze bestelling. 5.5/10, want vet is wel lekker en de Onion bhaji's hadden de meeste smaak van gerechten van vanavond. We zijn gewoon erg teleurgesteld. Ik ga er vanuit dat de chef erg zijn best heeft gedaan en des meer vinden wij het spijtig dat wij daar niets van hebben geproefd. We vinden het ook spijtig dat we 50 euro hebben uit gegeven aan iets wat niet lekker was en waarvan wij merendeel niet eens hebben willen opeten.

Ontzettend goed gegeten hier en zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Gisteravond, mijn bestelde (To Good To Go) maaltijd opgehaald. Ik ben erg vriendelijk ontvangen en mijn maaltijd werd ter plekke klaar gemaakt. Thuis gekomen, heb ik heerlijk gegeten en heb ook voor morgen nog genoeg. Hartelijk bedankt, Diwali Palace. Ik kom snel in het restaurant eten. Groet, Els de Bruin

Heerlijke onion bahji, rogan josh, tikka massala en knoflook naan gegeten. Papadum ook nog vooraf 'van het huis'. Super vriendelijke Nepalese bediening. Jammer dat we niet in de buurt wonen, anders kwamen we snel terug om de Nepalese gerechten te proeven! De bediening wees ons erop dat ze ook in Amersfoort een restaurant hebben, dichter bij onze woonplaats Zwolle 🥰🙏

Op papier een prima tent. En hoewel er vooraf gevraagd wordt hoe je het voedsel wenst blijkt de uitvoering gemiddeld te zijn. Smaken lijken erg op elkaar en er wordt teveel citroen gebruikt. De Bharta (geroosterde aubergine) was niet geroosterd maar volledig gesmashed als gerecht. Weet niet eens of het wel aubergine was! Service was zwak en absoluut niet vriendelijk zoals wij gewend zijn. Zo nu en dan een glimlach (voor de bühne) en that’s it. Wat ons betreft geen professionele service. Jammer want in tegenstelling tot ander Indian restaurants lijken ze hier wel de kip te grillen voordat deze wordt toegevoegd aan de curry. Dus dat is echt prima en een pluspunt. Alleen de sauzen lijken dan weer teveel op elkaar helaas. Wij zijn als gezin fervente Indian food aanhangers maar helaas moeten we dus naar de hoofdstad blijven gaan voor goede Indian.

First time eating at Diwali. We just passed it and decided to eat there, and the food was absolutely amazing. I ordered a Spicy chicken tikka masala, and it was the best I've had. Really beautiful flavors, and the spicy I asked for was what I got. Good service, really really nice atmosphere and once again, the food was absolutely amazing. Easy five stars.

Paar keer geweest en kan niet anders zeggen: "Beste en smakelijkste restaurant in zijn soort" in het wat vlakke Bussum. Eten is zeer smakelijk, cocos-naan is echt een topper. Bediening zeer goed en vriendelijk. Prijs is oké. Kortom als je trek hebt in Nepalees-India's moet je hier echt naar toe. Een aanrader!!

Dit is sinds kort ons favoriete restaurant. Alles is heerlijk en het is lekker dat alles in schaaltjes zit, zodat je met vrienden kan delen. Personeel ook erg aardig. Zeker een aanrader. En heel gezellig binnen.

De beste Butter Chicken uit het Gooi!

Nu een paar keer gegeten en laten bezorgen. Over het algemeen heerlijk. Al een aantal verschillende dingen geprobeerd en alles is even lekker en smaakvol. We hebben 1x pech gehad bij het bezorgen, maar werd goed opgelost. Begrijpelijk, maar de prijzen zijn wel flink verhoogd het afgelopen jaar. Toch echt een aanrader!

We hebben hier vanavond erg lekker gegeten. De kip die we hadden besteld was erg mals en het naanbrood is heerlijk. Hiernaast is de bediening enorm vriendelijk en namen ze alle tijd om ons suggesties te geven en de gerechten uit te leggen.

Heerlijk gegeten, hebben een hele uitgebreide kaart. Eten was ook meer dan voldoende. Was wel erg warm binnen. Afzuiging was minder, daardoor roken kleren erg naar eten. Verder erg gezellig en goede bediening.
