Domino's in Wijk 21 Oude Haven

Ordered here for 4 people yesterday. There was the Dam tot Dam race, so we waited 1.5 hours, almost 2 hours, for our food. The food was hot, but that same evening, 2 of the 4 of us hung out at the toilet. We won't be eating here again.

I see a lot of one star reviews, but have to say that my experience has always been positive. Pizza's are made quick and delivery is on time. The taste is as you would expect from Dominoes.

I placed an online order at Domino’s Zaandam on June 25, 2026. When I arrived to pick it up, the staff told me they had forgotten to make my pizza. They said the kitchen was already being cleaned because the store was closing, so they couldn’t prepare my order. I was told the order would be cancelled and that I’d receive a refund within 3–5 days. It has now been 4 weeks, and I have received no cancellation email and no refund to my credit card. I live in Canada, so I can’t return to the store to resolve this in person. Very disappointing customer service. Taking payment without providing the order and then failing to issue the promised refund is unacceptable. I hope management addresses this and refunds my money immediately.

I picked up 3 pizzas from this branch last week. The store looks like it has just been renovated. Very neat and clean. The pizzas were delicious. I will definitely come here to get pizzas more often.

Had a party last week with 20 people, ordered 12 pizzas, they were delivered within 30 minutes, hot and tasty. We're going to do this more often 👍

Delivery drivers doing wheelies outside is something you don't expect...bad place, bad vibe, bad service, bad food

My order was never delivered and I couldn't get in touch with the store. I ordered at 10 o'clock and by 10:30 there was no sign of the order. Called the store, someone answered but hung up immediately. Bad.

During my vacation, I placed an order with this restaurant through Uber Eats, and the food never arrived. It was a terrible experience because they never resolved anything or put me in contact with the delivery driver to find out what happened. Awful. I've been scammed.

The food was filthy and the service was incredibly slow. Customers (?) entered the kitchen in civilian clothes and shouted throughout. I do not recommend it. 🙂‍↕️

Delivery does not work. They take your money but never deliver. It is a scam.

Ordered here on a couple of occasions. First time we waited 1 1/2 hours for a cold pizza. Second time they managed to deliver the wrong pizza 3 times, that was almost ironic! Third time they cancelled our order 25 minutes after having ordered. Pizza is alright, but feels like it’s being managed by high schoolers.

I'm not sure if everyone in the kitchen was staff, but I was a little surprised by the free-spirited kitchen culture. I was a little surprised by the hygiene, which I don't see even in food trucks, but the pizza was delicious. ^^

Domino's Zaandam is getting worse and worse. They're never reachable. You have to wait a long time for a pizza. Bad service. But the pizza is still delicious.

I waited over an hour for my pizza. I had to call the store multiple times, but they didn't answer. When I finally reached someone, the music was playing extremely loudly, making it impossible to hear. Unfortunately, he didn't turn the music down either. He explained that I hadn't received my pizza because they hadn't confirmed it and that I should call back tomorrow. No empathy, no clear explanation. NEVER order from here again.

I placed an order, but unfortunately, it wasn't delivered in full. I tried calling four times, but there was no answer. The service was very disappointing. I'll make a different choice next time. The pizzas also tasted disappointing.

This is the 2nd time you order before 10pm and they just don't come, you don't get a call to cancel, nothing, because then I can arrange something else.

He mentioned he would call me back shortly, but I did not receive any follow-up. When I contacted the store again 10 minutes later, I was given the same response. I was disappointed by the lack of apology and the absence of any effort to investigate why the order had not reached me. I requested a refund, which I was told would be processed within 3–5 business days. However, the overall experience left me uncertain and concerned. This situation is surprising, as I have regularly ordered from Domino’s Zaandam without previous issues.

After waiting for two hours and making two phone calls, I was told the two pizzas might have been delivered elsewhere. No new delivery and no refund. Too bad, no more Domino's for us.

Closer to closing, a group of people from Dominos throw dough at people and cars, acting like monkeys. Very nice💁

I picked up my own pizza. The pizzas were delicious, and they were warmer than if you had them delivered. Strange, because the drive to our house is longer than by bike or scooter. From what we saw, we had the impression that ready-made pizzas weren't immediately sent to the delivery driver.

Waiting four hours to be told they're canceling it. And making a new one will take three hours. It's just two pizzas...absolutely ridiculous.

Been a customer for 20 years, but that's stopped today. Today I had to wait two hours, and then the phone stopped answering. I canceled my order and ordered from a REAL pizza restaurant.

Ordered 2 hours in advance, delivered 3 hours later. Called several times. They yelled all sorts of nasty illnesses in the background. One of my employees hung up during the call. What terrible service this Domino's has! It's a shame they treat paying customers this way. I'll never order from them again.

Tall blonde cashier was nice and dressed properly, the rest of everything was absolutely tragic. Firstly there were two fellas, who look relatively new, who were both wrestling and knocking appliances around. Everyone was wearing their own clothes, no uniform, and no hat nets, apart from the main tall blonde fella. At 21:35, 01/01/2026. Strange environment, and as you go outside to wait for the food, there’s delivery drivers doing wheelies and burnouts outside. Also, the menus were down, and I couldn’t see what to order. I was told 15 minutes for my food, 25 minutes later I get my pizza, but the wedges which I also ordered weren’t acknowledged. I had to wait another 15 minutes for the wedges to be ‘done’. There’s about 10 people in the kitchen waltzing in and out, and playing what I’d certainly consider inappropriate music, which was being played very loudly. Lastly, one of the ‘workers’ was just sitting on the boxes on top of the table where my food was previously sat. When I finally got my food, and got back to my hotel to eat my food, I opened my box to find what was supposed to be a margherita, turned out to be a meat feast. Absolutely wouldn’t recommend, unless you wanna be very disappointed.

The staff wasn't wearing uniforms or aprons. There were several young people coming in and out of the kitchen. The pizza was acceptable, but I wouldn't recommend this place.

For those with celiac disease, two gluten-free pizzas are available (Margherita or Pepperoni). The staff is very careful to prevent cross-contamination. Please note that this is a small pizzeria with no seating available. It's best to order directly in the restaurant; prices are better then.

I showed up at 8 PM on the weekend. The guy in the kitchen wore a biker hat, a sporty T-shirt, and juggling pants, not usual kitchen clothes, while taking pizza out of the oven and packing it. Lots of youngsters came back from outside, dressed the same way, and went straight to the kitchen. The cashier was nice. What a messy place!

Delivery arrived 2.5 hours after ordering and it was cold.

I waited two hours for my order and had to call three times, each time saying it was almost on its way. I'd rather order from New York Pizza.

The pizza is prepared quickly and the service at the counter is excellent thanks to the young, committed staff!

Yesterday (13:08 19:50 - 20:10) I picked up pizza from you, but unfortunately, I had mixed feelings about the experience. After briefly stopping nearby (with my hazard lights on), the staff had trouble finding my order and didn't realize I still had to pay. Only one employee – a tall, blond young man – helped me in a professional and friendly manner. I would appreciate it if the organization could be improved in the future to make the pickup experience smoother.

It always takes over an hour for the pizza to arrive cold. Also, don't order side dishes or drinks here, because nine times out of ten, they're forgotten.

DO NOT ORDER IT IS A FUCKING MESS!! I ordered at 21:00 via thuisbezorgd and paid I waited until 23:00 and called them they had no idea about that order and said they would connect me to their team leader and hung up without a solution or refund. I called a few more times afterwards and they ignore my calls

Pleasant welcome, very quick order taking and quick service, the food is very good, I enjoyed it and it was really cheap!

Disappointing. No sauce delivered that should be on the pizza and the wrong side dish delivered. Called about this. There was supposed to be a follow-up delivery, but it was not delivered. After calling a second time (after 1.5 hours) a follow-up delivery did arrive. Employee was very nice and the food that was delivered was fine.

when i was here the food and service was shocking, the place is run by teenagers who would rather stare at you than take your order. the girl at the counter also tried to charge my card for over €250 ??? which made me very uncomfortable… it was very strange to say the least. the food was dry and dull i recommend that you go to a different pizza shop.

Ordered two pizzas with chicken (chicken supreme) and both received incorrectly. I don't eat pork and both have pork in them. Domino's Zaandam could not be reached by telephone because the store was closed. Bullying the last customer and covering yourself by being unreachable is not entrepreneurship and customer-friendly. It's nice that I have to go without food for an evening because of you. I will never order anything from Dominos Zaandam again.

Absolutely shocking portion sizes compared to before. Paid full price for sides and given the mini small version get with box meals that are more than half the price with a box meal. Would complain to the store but history has taught me to not bother as the staff are rude, unhelpful and very disrespectful. Had stopped using for years after previous issues with this branch. Had one recently (box meal) was good and thought try again. Will go back to new York pizza again. Not worth it for just the Mac n cheese

Three very kind young guys helped us at all times and were the best. From here we would like to thank you for your hospitality, something that was in short supply during our visit to the Netherlands.

The employees both hands pizza didn't look good Came to get a pizza last week, employees (who were not employed at the time) came storming in screaming and decided that the 2 of them wanted to deliver a pizza for a free pizza for themselves. doors thrown I have heard more complaints about the business from acquaintances that they are not hygienic so upon arrival they go over the pizzas with dirty gloves (wiping near the ceiling) poor service DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!

A young girl without a brain wants to take the order but acts like a robot and almost screams. She doesn't understand anything that is said to her, she just repeats everything using rules. While trying to explain something to her, I heard that she was repeating the price for the fourth time, but she didn't understand what was being said to her.

Order placed via Uber Eats. I had to wait an hour for the order. The delivery person had forgotten to deliver 1 pizza. This was delivered later. It's just that I got a big discount through Uber Eats. Otherwise these pizzas are really impossible. There was little cheese on it. I actually only tasted tomato paste.

What service from these guys, top branch and top owner! Food is delivered here super fast and hot compared to other dominoes.

I am disappointed with the staff's response when I requested a second cup for my milkshake around 8:30 am on 2/26/22. I expected them to help me kindly, but instead I received an unpleasant response. When I asked for an extra cup, the staff seemed annoyed and seemed like I was bothering them. They made me feel like I was doing something wrong by asking for an extra cup. I don't understand why asking for an extra cup should be a problem It is a shame that the staff do not understand that their customers are the main driver of their business and that customer satisfaction is essential to maintaining a good reputation. I would expect the staff to be more professional and focus more on helping the customers rather than putting them off. In general, I think it is essential for any company to ensure high quality customer service and customer focus. This incident definitely got me thinking about whether I would like to go to this particular restaurant again in the future

Just had a pizza there. Was a nice girl and they accepted cash. After 10-15 minutes I got my pizza. Pizza was also tasty.

Ordered pizza 🍕 today, Taste was good, but arrived 20 minutes late and almost cold, and the delivery person showed up at the door wearing a helmet with a closed visor (not very customer friendly in our opinion)🤔

A bit poor if you pay about 16 euros for a bowl of chicken. Of course it will never look like the photos on the site, but it will make a world of difference. Everything is soft, almost nothing crunchy or crunchy. Taste is okay, but it is very expensive for what you get. Shame.

It's Domino's BUT ZAADAM STYLE! Being a Brit, we don't get half of what is on this menu, but the lady on till talked me through it all and even had a chat about what we get in the UK. Was expecting the normal UK stuff but definitely worth trying!!

You better not eat here. The staff doesn't care about the expiration dates, and the management is too busy with other things.

If you are passing through or coming from work, you can pick up a good pizza there, 8 minutes from the station. And fast. The environment is not festive, but very suitable because of a large dining bench in front of the door and waste bins.
