Tasty authentic Italian food. Better for lunch time than dinner:). Although it's rare for me to complain about this, it is quite overpriced, especially for a delicatessen.

Lovely place! Coffee was well made, tiramisu was very tasty (only very big) and the atmosphere was homely. Recommended!

The spaghetti carbonara is great

Very good service, excellent food. I recommend the wines. I had a dish of handmade long pasta (spaghetti) with a sauce that includes lemon and ham. Too good. I went with a large group, and despite occupying almost the entire restaurant, the service was excellent.

Donato Delicatessen, beautifully located on the corner of Hoytemastraat and Weissenbruchstraat, is a true oasis of Italian hospitality and dishes. From the moment you enter, you feel welcome by the charming, well-groomed Italian owner who welcomes you with open arms at the small, cozy bar with a professional espresso machine. The decor is simple but attractive, with uncomplicated tables and chairs and decorative pasta in the windowsill that emphasize the Italian theme. At the back of the store you will find an extensive display case full of Italian delicacies such as Italian meats, pasta and desserts, which you can pick up or enjoy on site (including sandwiches). Our culinary journey started with a delicious bruschetta, richly topped with exceptionally tasty tomatoes. We then enjoyed an excellent pasta with mushrooms and truffle. Dessert was a highlight: an authentic Cannoli with ricotta from Sicily, accompanied by a home-made tiramisu, both of which were excellent. A glass of refreshing white wine from Santa Christina completed the meal. The staff, also Italian, were friendly and attentive, which added to an authentic atmosphere. With a constant stream of Italian locals and the tasty food, you really feel like you're in Italy. Donato Delicatessen is an absolute must for anyone looking for excellent food and a warm, inviting atmosphere.

A true Italian place where you can breathe the warm atmosphere of Naples, while you gorge yourself with amazing food. Danilo, the owner, will welcome you like you're visiting a longtime friend even if you never met him. Spaghetti ai frutti di mare was really delicious, like I was back to Naples. Buon appetito!

This is what they call bruschetta…12.50 for 6 pieces of bread. Shame on you. Edit after response from Donato. How rude of you. I understood the price and quantity…. But where was the bruschetta topping? Answer me that please.

Lovely personnel and high quality Italian food, wine, oil, you name it. You can have a coffee and a chat, enjoy lunch or even have your party catered. Also (liked by me very much): takeaway menu for two including pasta, dessert and wine for only €25.

Beschikt over een uitgebreide kaart voor de lunch of diner. Ze hebben koude gerechten, warme gerechten. Snelle hap, of een uitgebreide maaltijd. Als de menukaart niet voldoet, hebben ze ook wisselende specialiteiten. Als laatst niet onbelangrijk, vriendelijke bediening en heerlijke Italiaanse maaltijd.

작고 아담하지만 스텦들이 정이 많고 음식 수준이 높은 정통 이탈리아 레스토랑이다. 늘 대기줄이 길고 내부에 손님이 많은데 식재료가 신선하고 소스의 풍미는 깊다. 커피 맛도 일품. 우리 동네에 이런 집이 있어 즐겁다.

+Heerlijk gelunched van de uitgebreide kaart. De broodjes vitello tonato en caprese zijn een aanrader. Ook het dagmenu was verrassend lekker, we hebben genoten van de pasta zeevruchten. +Ruime hoeveelheid pasta, broodjes goed belegd. +De cappuccino is verrukkelijk. Daarnaast zijn Italiaanse drankjes verkrijgbaar. -De sinaasappelsap bleek echter orangina te zijn. -Buiten eten op het terras is wel knus, houdt er rekening mee dat je op de stoep zit en er dus mensen langslopen of auto's langrijden. -Er zaten veel mensen te roken terwijl wij aten, zijn we persoonlijk geen fan van. Dependance van Donato naast Haagse bos. De pizza van daar is een favoriet.

Erg slechte service. Onze serveerder was onaardig en agressief. Het eten is prima.

Authentiek Italiaans, je drinkt hier de allerlekkerste koffie en als je genoeg tijd hebt, neem dan de uitgebreide lunch, alles zelf gemaakt en vers.

Heerlijk eten, ook glutenvrije pasta! En service met een glimlach en een grapje.
