Eigen in Wijk 02 Belgisch Park

Eigen in Scheveningen is a great spot for brunch or lunch. Located in a nice shopping street, it offers a really good selection of sandwiches, salads and wraps, plus plenty of drinks including fresh orange juice, teas and coffees. I visited with a friend and we both enjoyed our food — the signature sandwich with goat cheese, honey and pine nuts was especially tasty. The service was fast, the price-quality ratio is very good, and the interior is cute and inviting. Only a 12-minute walk from the beach, it’s definitely worth a stop when you’re in the neighbourhood!

Good setting and customer friendliness

Originally I came here because it was the closest breakfast restaurant to my hotel. I came again the next morning for breakfast because the staff was very polite and nice. And the breakfast (I had smoothies and toasts) was very delicious. Definitely recommend.

A lovely little restaurant with delicious coffee and breakfast. Very friendly service. A hidden gem if you want to have brunch down from the pier. The baguettes are fantastic!

Unbelievable what a price… €8.00 for literally just a loose meatball, a pre-packaged container of sauce and a brown mini pistolet. No butter, no garnish, even the meatball wasn't cut. I will never spend my money here again.

Wow! We had to be at the embassy and had to have breakfast. This was really great. Lovely people who work here and my 29 sandwich was delicious. We have to go here again next time!

Received a friendly welcome, fast service, delicious lunch. This is also the first location I have come across where they do not put thick slices of ginger in the tea, plus!! Very cute, atmospheric look on the inside. Definitely go if you don't feel like visiting the touristy side of Scheveningen. =) Just a 12-minute walk from the Bilderberg Hotel.

We ended up by accident, because the place we were going to was closed, but we ended up in the perfect place. The breaded fish was very crispy, fresh and delicate. The herring sandwich was brilliant. We recommend!

We had breakfast with the family in this beautiful and quiet restaurant. The food was top class and the coffee was also very tasty. We would like to thank you for the great experience, the delicious breakfast and the great service! We'll be back.

Amazing café, very delicious and home-like

Cozy and cozy place just outside the center of Scheveningen, which also makes it very reasonable in price. Ordered small but very filled sandwiches that were very tasty, definitely recommended…

Delicious lunch; wide choice of sandwiches, toasted sandwiches and salads. The rolls were super airy and perfectly crispy. Staff are very friendly. And because it is just 100 meters away from the tourist center, this makes a huge difference in the price. Recommended!

Zeer vriendelijke bediening, ruime keus op de lunchkaart. Broodjes zijn over het algemeen kadetjes.Dat zie je niet vaak meer in een lunchroom. De koffie werd goed heet gebracht (dubbele espresso).Smaak was beter dan gemiddeld. O.a. heerlijk broodje bal gegeten van kalfsgehakt.Kom hier zeker terug.

Spontaan binnengelopen, dat was een goede keuze. Allebei een lekker broodje gekozen, gewoon een mooi formaat. Niet te groot of te klein. Ruime keuze. Vriendelijk personeel, zeker een aanrader.

We zijn er de afgelopen week al 3 keer geweest. Lekker geluncht, en er heerst een gezellige ambiance.

Heerlijke lunchgerechten, vlot gereserveerd

Over onze lunch bij deze lunchroom had ik eigenlijk nagenoeg geen negatieve feedback. Echt heel erg goed: heerlijk eten, super goede kwaliteit en niet karig met de 'duurdere' ingrediënten. Onze bestelling werd vlot, netjes en vriendelijk opgenomen en echt heel snel geserveerd. Erg knap gezien de drukte in het restaurant. Sfeer verder erg gezellig. Koffie en thee ook van goede kwaliteit en naast het vaste menu ook voldoende keuze aan 'specials' op de krijtborden. Enige minpuntje was dat ze per ongeluk 2 glazen melk hadden gerekend terwijl we er maar 1 besteld hadden en dat we dit pas na afrekenen zagen.

Accueil très chaleureux dans ce petit restaurant de quartier. Cuisine simple (sandwichs, soupes, “Tostis”) et faite maison. J’habite le quartier et j’y vais souvent pour déjeuner.

The best chocolate chip banana bread I have ever had! The staff is incredibly friendly and kind. It has become a regular stop.

Gevonden via Google. Goede reviews en dat was niet voor niets. Lekkere broodjes en het personeel is behulpzaam en vriendelijk. En bovendien niet cameraschuw. Recht tegenover de toekomstige opvang van onze zoon dus we komen zeker terug.

Hier met z'n tweeën van een (h)eerlijke lunch genoten. Eerlijke prijzen en buitengewoon vriendelijke bediening. Een verademing vergeleken met de 'nep' toeristenzaken op de boulevard. Vermeldenswaard is ook nog de mooie inrichting met behang doorlopend op het plafond.

Altijd goed voor een koffie-break of lekkere lunch

Geheimtipp: Verborgener Schatz! Auf den ersten Blick von außen relativ unscheinbar, dann aber ein zauberhaftes Café geführt von einem Mutter-Tochter-Gespann. Alles frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Viele Eigenkreationen. Besonders die Hackbällchen sind mega! Zudem sind alle super freundlich und herzlich.

Uitgenodigd voor een kop koffie, die smaakte heerlijk. Enig minpunt is dat ik daar 60 minuten zat en niemand die kwam vragen of ik nog iets wil drinken of eten. Wellicht moet ik het daar zelf aangeven.

Süßes kleiner Straßencafe mit leckerem Frühstück. Wir hatten jeder ein Sandwich, welches frisch und gut geschmeckt hat. Der Kaffee war ebenfalls sehr gut. Dazu eine sehr nette Chefin! Wir kommen wieder :)
