Today Lunch en Diner in Wijk 09 Geuzen- en Statenkwartier

We were the only table (the entire terrace + inside was empty) and the bartender/waitress found us difficult because we were the only ones having drinks on the terrace and we were “too present”. All in all a bad experience and certainly not recommended….

Had a drink and some bitterballs here. Good and quick service. In contrast to the neighbours.

I received a get your gift gift voucher worth 44.99 for lunch. I called to come over for lunch tomorrow. There was room, but when I said I wanted to use my gift voucher, it was suddenly no longer possible. Very unfriendly and special. Then you simply shouldn't collaborate with a party like get your gift.

We were from Limburg a weekend in Scheveningen and ended up here for dinner. Was a great experience. Very tasty food, super attentive service and nice atmosphere in the restaurant. It is that it is a bit far from Limburg but otherwise we would drop in here regularly.

Ate here for the first time! Very friendly service and she recommended me a salad with chicken and bacon! Super delicious!! Highly recommended! Unfortunately I didn't take a photo because before I knew it the salad was gone! 😁 I would love to come there again!

Had lunch after a museum visit. Nice case, good service. There is nothing to complain about. But unfortunately it is eating. And also on the menu. It is a bit strange that there is a green "V" for vegan behind a few recipes while the ingredients say panchetta. When making a comment about that, the response is "oh, yeah, but we can leave that out too." But then the food. "open sandwich rendang" First of all the positive, no cuts have been made on the amount of meat. But the meat itself has nothing to do with rendang. It's pulled pork but it lacks any flavor. Not only is it bland but any smell or taste that could indicate rendang is missing. Shame. And the meat is too fatty. In short, a shame. The 12 hour (soup, salad, and a vegetable croquette). There is also nothing wrong with quantity here. The soup bowl is simply large. The soup itself is also really well filled with vegetables. Only the taste is too reminiscent of canned soup, much too sweet. Salad was fine except for the cheese on it. Tasteless factory cheese here too, which stays there. To end on a positive note. The vegetable croquette is fine. In summary, a nice thing with quite a bit of potential, but using a little more love and a little more quality products would make a huge difference. And there is also that room because, given the quantities, the prices could be slightly higher (or the quantities slightly lower).

What a super fun afternoon we had! Host through and through! Definitely recommended.

What happened to the Scheveningen sandwich and the salmon sandwich? What happened to the bread anyway? We always liked to come here for our favorites, they are no longer on the menu and that can happen. But a bland tuna salad with some unseasoned lettuce on very mediocre (read: not fresh) bread is the other extreme. The croquettes on bread were of excellent quality but were served half lukewarm, not what you would hope for. Hope they find their way back up again soon because you could always have a delicious lunch here.

Great tasty tapas for 2 people, together with bread, spreads and delicious bubbles. We can definitely recommend it.

We were looking for a tasty breakfast for a day out and we certainly succeeded! Cozy place, not that big but very cozy. We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. Breakfast was served on a large board and everything was super tasty! Another warm soup and croquette served alongside. Fresh orange juice and a nice glass of fresh smoothie. We all had a great time and will definitely come back again!

tasty food, good place for lunch

Twee weken geleden met Danny contact gehad om met het hele gezin hier te komen lunchen. Wij hadden een strakke planning maar Danny had een goed plan en had alles goed voorbereid. In high tea vorm stonden er bij binnenkomst al een paar etagères met broodjes klaar. Het enige wat wij miste was een begroeting bij ontvangst. Het was hierdoor wat onduidelijk wat de bedoeling was. Verder wel heerlijk gegeten met een fijne prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Bedankt!

Today Den Haag is absoluut één van mijn favoriete plekken om heerlijk te eten. De sfeer is altijd ontspannen en rustig, wat zorgt voor een fijne ambiance. De service is uitstekend en het personeel is altijd attent en vriendelijk. Het menu is gevarieerd en biedt voor ieder wat wils, dus je kunt er zeker van zijn dat er iets lekkers voor je op de kaart staat. Het eten zelf is gewoonweg heerlijk! De gerechten zijn altijd goed bereid en vol van smaak. Van ontbijt, brunch, lunch, diner en high-tea arrangementen. Ik kan Today Den Haag ten zeerste aanbevelen aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een plek waar je kunt genieten van lekker eten, een goede sfeer en uitstekende service.

Eerst op het smalle terras op de stoep van de straat wat gedronken. Daarna gezellig binnen gegeten. Mijn visschotel met rijst was geweldig. De Aziatische saus maakte de smaakbeleving verrassend en rijk. De vele groente een genot.

It has the potential to be an Excellent dining and drinking venue, casual, but special. However, the last two times I stopped by, once the kitchen was already closed at 8pm (on Friday?!) And the second time there wasn't much left on the menu. I get it times are tight, and maybe this isn't the location for people to enjoy the evening al fresco, but it's a real shame more is not done out of this.

Always a good moment and nice food. For lunch, go with time enough, it can be longer that expected. But it's really nice: good and nice place.

We hebben een hele gezellige avond gehad met een heerlijk 3 gangen menu. Vriendelijke en spontane bediening cq benadering vanuit het personeel. Aanrader voor een personeels avondje 🫡
