Worthless rolls, burnt, little meat inside, a fat dung fly on the roll, unfriendly staff. Never again for us, what a mess.

We came in when it wasn't busy, friendly service and they loaded my doner to the max. Only 6 Euro? Wow. Delicious!

Good döner, and that’s basically all I can say. The staff speak barely any Dutch, but hey, it’s not exactly a posh restaurant. 😄 The feta is good, the döner is good. Nothing more, nothing less. You come here for a decent döner, and that’s exactly what you get.

I called to order but the restaurant didn't answer; I find this very rude. Customer unfriendly.

Fast service and large terrace with shade everywhere. Toilet also available, handy if you are traveling with the ladies.

A solid kebab place to get your döner kebab. The meat is okay, the bun is nicely filled, although I expected the mega to be a bit bigger. Pickles in a döner kebab are not exactly my taste. It is also a downside that we didn't get a bottle of garlic sauce/sambal while we ate on the spot. Otherwise a good place, I would definitely come back here.

Very nice people, very fast service, but horrible falafel - even in the Netherlands, it’s hard to find such bad falafel…even the Albert Heijn ones taste better…if you try, you will understand.

Picturesquely situated in the square. The flatbread was heavy on the stomach. The roll was good. The filling was good. But it could be tastier.

We absolutely loved going here for a döner, especially because this used to be the cheapest, great döner in this city. However, this is no longer true after the last two visits. Let me start by stating that almost every single order we have had for the past year got messed up. The staff seems to be very chaotic, and when we order two different döners, they always get mixed up, even after warning them about it. What if an allergy was involved? However, the much bigger issue is the quality of meat. In both our last two visits, we got meat that had hard pieces in it. It felt like sand, but I suspect those were pieces of bones. This is absolutely unacceptable, especially when it involves all the meat pieces in both döners. I am giving this place two stars instead of one, just because the staff is friendly and never seemed doing any of this with bad intentions. However, I will never be returning again.

We ordered 3 meat lahmacuns: 1 garlic, 1 whiskey, and 1 sambal + whiskey sauce. We received 2 sambal and 1 whiskey + garlic. They went way overboard with the sambal, the meat was cold, and the pizza was soggy and wet. I have never had such an unappetizing lahmacun.

I have been coming here for 15 years. As always, never disappointed. Friendly staff and top-quality fresh döner. Perhaps a tip: put something under the legs of the chairs. They make quite a lot of noise when sliding. It is very annoying.

Normally i only like the real Turkish style of Doner (no sauce or weird salads) but this one was great

Top food, good quality for a good price. 1 point of criticism, buy a sandwich a little later in the evening, then the atmosphere and service depends a bit on who works there. Furthermore, a good thing to buy Turkish food! I don't want a doner sandwich from another place!

When I was here the other day, a tipsy guy started talking and telling some nonsense. A buddy of his took that series and became very aggressive towards me while he was standing in the doorway. A little later an employee told me that the business was closing. This was not noticeable and there was nothing behind it. While I was still eating my food, the employee came to me again within 5 minutes with the same message. Then I had a pretty certain confirmation that they wanted me out while I was being aggressively approached by another guest. This is because when I was approached for the 2nd time in a short time, there were still many other customers inside and no one was standing in the doorway to stop new customers. Very disappointed with this, in my opinion, wrong approach to me while I did not cause any problems.

Best falafel in Deventer and surrounding areas

The best kebab I've tried in a long time. In 2024 I ordered a menu with a small kebab, fries, plenty of fries sauce and a drink for €8.50. Value for money is perfect and there are seating options.

Average tasting Doner Kebab, lacked flavour. But I suppose this is the Dutch way. Portion sizes were good, but I don’t suggest paying extra for the “special” which is supposed to add cheese. We couldn’t taste or see any added cheese. At least they’re open till quite late at night.

The doner meat was tough and tasteless, it looked like it had been on the grill for hours. The sauce was watery and completely lacked the flavor I'm used to from a good doner. The vegetables were old and limp, no freshness in sight. I had hoped for a juicy and tasty doner, but was served a disappointingly dry and bland variant. After eating this doner I just felt disappointed and not satisfied.

Junk, I'd much rather go to Ayf or Marmaris, meat is the cheapest of the cheapest. Fries not cooked and you can taste that the oil is not fresh

Went to Donerix twice again in a long time. Both times they let people jump in line, but as soon as something is said about it they do nothing about it. Very unfortunate, previously always top service with nice guys working.

Enorm lekkere Doner kebab . Ze mogen hun tempo naar beneden schroeven voor het gewone dagelijkse publiek . Hier kan ik mijn verwende broer jaloers mee maken . 5 sterren smaak en simpele afhaal en zit restaurant , Aardig personeel en niet duur

Goede locatie. Dichtbij horeca. Snel geholpen, vriendelijk personeel. Verhouding vlees en groente in de dürüm is echter ver te zoeken. Leek bijna een vegetarische dürüm. Amper vlees. Ben ontevreden. Betaalde hier €5,50 voor.

Heerlijk gegeten, meestal vind ik falafel heel droog maar hier was er geen andere vegetarische optie dus moest ik wel... en wat ben ik blij dat ik dat had gedaan, de falafel kapsalon was perfect en rijkelijk gevuld met rode kool, sla, kaas en ui!

Deze broodjes kip zijn geweldig. Ik vind deze de lekkerste in de omgeving. Wel het idee dat er de hoeveelheid vlees is afgenomen, tegenover een hogere prijs.

Medewerkers zijn goed op elkaar ingespeeld daardoor is de bestelling snel klaar. Goed belegd broodje kip döner, patat goed gebakken,niet te zout.
