This is a restaurant located in Deventer, a few kilometers from the center, that offers real flavors from many Turkish cultures. I must say that the prices are very reasonable. I would like to thank the owners of the business, they have spent years to create a successful business. Their experience is already evident in the taste of the food, it is the first 5th on the recommendation list.

In the kapsalon you have to search for meat with a magnifying glass, and it is not chewable. And the doner was terrible, Adana, raw onions and a little lettuce, not even heated properly. One star. The platter itself was a real feast for the eyes. Beautiful portions of grilled meat, including tender kebabs and succulent köfte, were perfectly cooked and infused with the typical Turkish spices. Lovely and atmospheric place to eat, enjoyed it very much!

Had it delivered once, it took about 50 minutes, but the food was really tasty. A week later I happened to cycle past the restaurant itself and, based on previous experiences, I went in to have something to eat there. Very neat case. Very friendly staff, the person at the cash register remembered me from the order from the week before, which he had delivered himself. Good and extensive service, and once again a very tasty meal. I recommend Doy Doy to everyone!

Funny and nice hostess, good food and a nice atmosphere. Worth repeating!! I had a lentil soup, delicious and fresh. Mixgrill speaks for itself and was a taste explosion. And for dessert we had baklava with ice cream, which was always good.

For Turkish grill with many types of meat and everything surrounding it, you should definitely come here. You will certainly notice delicious meat and excellent service from employees. I have become addicted to the mixed grill from this store. Really delicious and definitely recommended. You certainly won't regret it. Sometimes I eat at the restaurant and sometimes I pick it up myself and enjoy delicious Turkish tea while waiting.

I ate: Tavuk Şiş with bulgur and fries. The taste was very tasty, but the portion was a little small. You probably won't feel full without bread as a side dish. The staff and store atmosphere were great!

Disappointing experience at Doydoy I placed an order with Doydoy yesterday at 5:36 PM, expecting the food to be delivered within 40 minutes. Unfortunately it had not arrived at 6:50 PM, so I decided to call back. Then I was told it was busy and the order would arrive in 10 minutes. In the end the food wasn't delivered until 7:30 PM. The food was for my child, who really wanted it, so we decided to take the order anyway, despite the long wait. At the door I told the delivery lady that we were not happy with the long wait, but that we had no other choice. To my surprise, I then heard her talking behind my back about what I had said. I found this very unprofessional and inappropriate. In short, the long waiting time and poor customer service made this experience very disappointing.

I don't know where to start, but my experience was disappointing. The starter consisted of bread that was hard as stone. It was impossible to eat. The meat was okay, but not what I expected given the positive reviews. I was hoping for something tastier. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. The owner was friendly, but that couldn't make up for the poor quality of the food.

Don't be fooled by the place, it's a small and cozy place, the taste is very good, the price is reasonable, the tray is full of drinks, the baklava for dessert is very good, they are not greedy about the price, I recommend it, it is a place where I will come again.

My mother and I were walking around Deventer when my mother suddenly had to go to the toilet. This was not a problem with Doy Doy, which is unfortunately not always self-evident without consumption. As far as I'm concerned, kindness can be rewarded. As mentioned, we did not eat or drink here, so unfortunately I cannot say anything about the quality of the food. It smelled very nice inside, so that is certainly an invitation to come back again for something to eat.

Tasty food, friendly staff, fast delivery service and value for money, what more could you want? Well, attentive staff forgot to inform us when ordering that the meat temporarily had to be well done, so we were called to ask if it was different now. It wasn't like that yet so it is much appreciated, especially the delicious dessert that we receive from them with congratulations... thank you very much 🙏🏻

Delicious food, price is right. As it should all be.

Not the place for a nice dinner, but very tasty and tender grilled meat. Unfortunately, the bread was old and the Turkish cream was not served with my dessert. A glass or cup with your drink and refilling the toothpicks would also be appropriate. In short, the food is prepared with skill and love, but there is room for improvement in the service.

Het eten is oké maar de service moet beter. We moesten overal zelf om vragen, de saus, de salade, servetjes, tafel schoonmaken. Ook is het binnen erg benauwd door al het rook (net als vorig jaar).

Het eten is in het algemeen wel oké. De kippenvleugels en kippendij zijn echter niet lekker. Vraag altijd naar de saus want die doen ze er niet bij of vragen ook niet naar. Service is wel oké. De zaak ziet er niet verzorgd uit. Toen ik kwam afhalen waren 3 tafels niet opgeruimd. Terwijl genoeg mensen in de zaak staan. En dat bleef zo gedurende 30 minuten dat ik daar zat.

Top! Vooral de Vega wrap was een aangename verassing. Komen zeker terug.

Supergoed gegeten daar. Echt mooie Turkse sfeer en aardig personeel. Eten was 100% verzorgd en met liefde geserveerd. Ga zo door gasten!!! ♥️

Een van de beste plekken van Deventer een echte aanrader. Wij zijn hier geweest voor een ontbijt. Met een overvolle tafel aan heerlijke lekkernijen. Daarnaast is het personeel zeer vriendelijk. Mocht je een leuke plek zoeken voor lekker ontbijten, is Doydoy een echte aanrader.
