We were in Deventer today and decided to stop for a bite to eat! We had to wait a bit, but we were warmly welcomed and offered a red lentil soup to try! It was delicious 😋 We took our meal with us!

We were visiting friends in Amersfoort and drove past this place to grab a bite to eat. Delicious food, fresh and so delicious. I would drive all the way from Amersfoort just for this delicious food. Highly recommended.

This is one of the true Turkish cuisines you can find in Deventer. They've done a great job with their fast service and friendly staff. I've tried every menu item daily, and it's truly delicious. Open until 10:00 in the evenings, the grilled entrecôte comes with fries or rice, and salad. Pickled peppers, fried tomatoes, and fried peppers are also a plus. This menu is only 14€, making it a great value. I highly recommend it. If you go, say hello from us! Enjoy!

The lahmacun is absolutely delicious, folks; I highly recommend it. The place is small, with limited seating, but everything moves quickly. The owner is just as welcoming as we'd hoped, smiling and friendly, and even offers soup to those waiting in the car. Instead of bringing the second lahmacun right away, he brings it out hot as soon as the first is finished. Delicious lahmacun, wonderful shopkeepers.

Great service, we were received with great patience and attention, got an explanation about vegetarian options and were allowed to sit on the cozy benches. In the 5 minutes that we waited for our food we were very kindly given a cup of lentil soup and then our delicious food. Everything was super fresh and clearly handmade. I came here because I was looking for lunch. Via Google I saw the beautiful pictures of the fresh meat and vegetables. Small shop, there are 8 people working hard in the kitchen but it is almost silent. They are busy, there is no shouting, they are all focused. My menu arrives in front of me within 10 minutes, I had a menu that consisted of adana kebab rice roll, nice salad and fresh fries, not just any fries, really top fries, everything tasted good on its own. I am really impressed! I will come back here as soon as possible. Deventer has such beautiful places to eat!

During my visit to Lahmacun Huis in Deventer I ordered a Turkish pizza with chicken, and I can say with certainty: this was the best I have ever eaten. Throughout the Netherlands you usually get the standard döner chicken with lettuce, tomato, cucumber and onion, fine, but predictable. What Lahmacun House serves is truly on another level. The chicken here does not come from the standard roll, but is cut into pieces (cubes) from the grill, freshly pulled off the skewer. These are then carefully distributed over the Turkish pizza. You don't get simple raw vegetables, but beautifully grilled vegetables such as peppers and caramelized onions, which together provide a rich, savory and fresh taste experience. Every element has been visibly prepared with attention and you can immediately taste it. I am from Haarlem myself, but this experience was so good that I would travel back to Deventer without hesitation. For me, Lahmacun Huis has really distinguished itself from all other comparable businesses in the Netherlands. An absolute must for anyone who really appreciates good Turkish cuisine.

Lahmacun was crispy. You can't find lahmacun like this in the Netherlands, but we liked the pita with meat the most, and my wife even bought it and ate it again before leaving. They were very hospitable and offered us soup while we were waiting for the food. I definitely recommend it. Only the shop is a little small, there are not many places to sit, take this into consideration if you are coming at dinner time and it is crowded.

They play with people's lives! Asked for the meat to be thoroughly fried, the minced meat and the chicken meat was so raw on the inside that it was impossible to eat the next day, stomach pain and diarrhea all day!!

I love most of the dishes I've tried. Lahmachun Kebap is the best! I can't believe I discovered this place after living in Deventer for 1.5 years. It beats all the durums anyday. Very friendly staff. You get a free soup while you wait for your order. Very nice in winter. I only hope they can expand to more seating and start delivery.

Drove from Enschede to Deventer specifically to eat here again - and it was totally worth it! Although there is little seating space, we knew that in advance and that does not detract from the experience at all. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel welcome straight away. The meat is of top quality and is freshly chopped on site. The fries are not only fresh, but also homemade, and you can taste that immediately! We got hungry on the way and entered Deventer. We searched for a place to eat on the internet and decided to come here. Lahmacun was the best lahmacun I have ever eaten in the Netherlands. Ribeye and shish kebab were also very delicious. We also had rice pudding on top and it was all really delicious. We were very pleased. If we ever come this way, we will come again.

Lahmacun House is where you should be if you like really good food. Their lahmacun is deliciously thin and crispy, perfectly seasoned and fresh from the oven. The adana kebab is full of flavor, and that pide? Soft dough, richly filled – simply comfort food at its best. Everything is homemade, from the bread to the sauces, and you can taste it. Here you don't eat standard kebabs, but pure quality. LOVE ITTTTT!

The lahmacun comes with a fresh salad, which is a good addition. You can add sauce yourself if you wish, which is nice to adjust the taste. The property is well maintained, but the entrance is very small, which can sometimes be inconvenient. There is an option to consume the order on site, but space is quite limited. A small downside is that no tea is offered. Everything else was fine!

Good business and lovely guests with top service. There wasn't much room in the restaurant so they advised eating in the car. While waiting I got a delicious lentil soup. As for other dishes and topics; The inside of the meat and minced meat was raw. I see similar complaints in previous comments. Such a thing is unacceptable for minced meat.I didn't eat chicken, but if there is such a situation in chicken, it is even worse. Also, bread and pita are placed where the meat and minced meat are placed. therefore, there is indirect contact. The employees touch the meat with the same gloves. Wearing gloves doesn't solve everything.. With the increase in awareness in Turkey due to the influence of social media, encountering such problems is not as common as it used to be. However, it is a great disappointment to see such things in a Turkish restaurant in the Netherlands. These issues directly threaten human health. My advice is for them to understand the seriousness of this issue. If the restaurant can solve these problems, it has good potential. Leaving aside whether it tastes good or bad, I don't think it will be a place I will go to again for the reasons I have listed.

Delicious food, I immediately felt hungry again

I got several sandwiches there for lunch. Chicken skewer and adana skewer (seasoned minced meat). Super tasty and tender. Adana certainly not dry!! The sandwich itself is also very tasty. The coke I ordered with it was not Coca Cola but Turkish cola (fine to drink). Tastiest Turkish takeaway food!!

It was the best lahmacun I ate in the Netherlands. It's delicious. One of those crispy lahmacuns we eat in Turkey. I also liked the pita very much. I can say that this is my regular place when I am in Deventer. We usually get takeout, but last time we ate there. You have a small seating area that is quite full, but with some patience you will have a spot. They are polite and customer-friendly. The Turkish pizza is delicious and they have homemade sandwiches. What would be really nice is if they had larger space for multiple seats. Maybe in the future 😁 It's my number 1 in Deventer anyway.
