Kind staff, excellent food and a wonderfully friendly atmosphere. It’s almost always busy, which in itself says a lot about the place. For me, they serve the best French fries in Deventer. The pidas are fresh, homemade and full of flavour, with delicious seasoning and ingredients that simply work. And the soup? Absolutely delicious. Simple, comforting and seriously yum. What I appreciate most, though, is the hospitality. You never feel like just another customer walking through the door; you’re welcomed and treated more like a friend. That warmth, combined with consistently good food, makes this a place you want to return to. Fresh, tasty, generous and genuinely welcoming. Always a winner.

I am often in the neighborhood and frequently see a long line outside. I thought I would eat at Lahmacunhuis today, and now I understand that it is really worth the wait for an order. It is also a very fast-prepared, top-notch place.

I was in Deventer for work and I'm from Rotterdam myself. I got two chicken skewers here and was really surprised by the quality. I haven't tasted such a tasty and well-seasoned chicken skewer in Rotterdam yet. The meat was fresh, tender, and delicious. The tastiest pide with cheese in Deventer. And that is not even mentioning the chicken sandwich. The chicken is grilled over charcoal, and you can definitely taste it. Highly recommended. There is a small seating area where you can eat it. In nice weather, you can also sit and eat outside on one of the two benches.

We visited once thanks to a recommendation from a good friend. We are from Brabant ourselves and come here regularly. The distance alone should tell you, the reader, how phenomenal the food here is. The price-quality ratio is absolutely top-notch! Everything you get here is tasty and cheap! Highly recommended; we have eaten at many places, but this is absolutely the best.

The grilled dishes, lahmacun (Turkish flatbread with minced meat), and pide (Turkish flatbread with minced meat) are all delicious. Everything is very fresh and prepared in a unique way. Sometimes you do have to wait a little while before you are served.

You are treated very kindly, despite it being busy. When we had to wait, they brought us a bowl of lentil soup. The food there is exquisite. Everything is made fresh right in front of you. Upon entering, you are treated kindly; you immediately feel welcome and right at home. The food is simply very good; you can taste the tender meat as if you were in Turkey. I usually order a şiş kebap sandwich here; it never disappoints. Kebap in its purest form. Plus, these guys know how to get it tender yet meaty and seasoned just right. And all that in a homemade bun; the freshness is bursting out. And you can taste it 👌🏼

During my lunch break this week, I quickly picked up some lahmacun for the first time. It was so delicious! 100% freshly made. I'd been raving about it at home, and today we placed an order for a mixed grill. I've never had such delicious, fresh food. Wow! Even the fries and rolls are homemade. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is super friendly. We'll definitely remain regular customers.

This is one of the places where you can find authentic Turkish cuisine in Deventer. They've done a great job with fast service and friendly staff. I tried all the dishes daily and they were truly delicious. Open until 10 PM, their grilled ribeye steak comes with french fries or rice and salad, plus pickled peppers, fried tomatoes, and fried peppers. This menu is only €14 and very affordable. I highly recommend it. If you go, say hello from us! Enjoy your meal!

We were visiting friends in Amersfoort and drove past this place to grab a bite to eat. Delicious food, fresh and so delicious. I would drive all the way from Amersfoort just for this delicious food. Highly recommended.

This is one of the true Turkish cuisines you can find in Deventer. They've done a great job with their fast service and friendly staff. I've tried every menu item daily, and it's truly delicious. Open until 10:00 in the evenings, the grilled entrecôte comes with fries or rice, and salad. Pickled peppers, fried tomatoes, and fried peppers are also a plus. This menu is only 14€, making it a great value. I highly recommend it. If you go, say hello from us! Enjoy!

The lahmacun is absolutely delicious, folks; I highly recommend it. The place is small, with limited seating, but everything moves quickly. The owner is just as welcoming as we'd hoped, smiling and friendly, and even offers soup to those waiting in the car. I came here because I was looking for lunch. Via Google I saw the beautiful pictures of the fresh meat and vegetables. Small shop, there are 8 people working hard in the kitchen but it is almost silent. They are busy, there is no shouting, they are all focused. My menu arrives in front of me within 10 minutes, I had a menu that consisted of adana kebab rice roll, nice salad and fresh fries, not just any fries, really top fries, everything tasted good on its own. I am really impressed! I will come back here as soon as possible. Deventer has such beautiful places to eat!

During my visit to Lahmacun Huis in Deventer I ordered a Turkish pizza with chicken, and I can say with certainty: this was the best I have ever eaten. Throughout the Netherlands you usually get the standard döner chicken with lettuce, tomato, cucumber and onion, fine, but predictable. What Lahmacun House serves is truly on another level. The chicken here does not come from the standard roll, but is cut into pieces (cubes) from the grill, freshly pulled off the skewer. These are then carefully distributed over the Turkish pizza. You don't get simple raw vegetables, but beautifully grilled vegetables such as peppers and caramelized onions, which together provide a rich, savory and fresh taste experience. Every element has been visibly prepared with attention and you can immediately taste it. I am from Haarlem myself, but this experience was so good that I would travel back to Deventer without hesitation. For me, Lahmacun Huis has really distinguished itself from all other comparable businesses in the Netherlands. An absolute must for anyone who really appreciates good Turkish cuisine.

Lahmacun was crispy. You can't find lahmacun like this in the Netherlands, but we liked the pita with meat the most, and my wife even bought it and ate it again before leaving. They were very hospitable and offered us soup while we were waiting for the food. I definitely recommend it. Only the shop is a little small, there are not many places to sit, take this into consideration if you are coming at dinner time and it is crowded.
