I came all the way from Amsterdam because there's no place like this in Amsterdam. Good portions, warm bread, affordable, and they're happy to ask for extra bread. The shawarma is also delicious; it's freshly cut right off the spit right in front of you.

The restaurant is really nice, don't be fooled by the false comments. This is already my fifth visit to this restaurant. If they would ask, I would say that this is the best restaurant in Deventer, and the negative comments are absolutely fake and misleading. It is clear that there are people who want to put this restaurant in a bad light, there is no other explanation. No, every time I come, I encounter delicious food, a nice atmosphere, great service and perfect hygiene. So, don't pay attention to the misleading, fake and negative comments, come and see for yourself and tell me. I am sure you will agree

We had high expectations of this restaurant given the many positive reviews, but unfortunately our visit was very disappointing. The shoarma and rice were extremely salty and barely edible. When we reported this to the staff, it was simply dismissed with the comment that they "did not recognise themselves in this", so no apologies or solution. The service also left much to be desired; we got the strong feeling of being ignored and had to wait a long time before we were helped and eventually decided (after 45 minutes) to just walk in ourselves. What made it extra disappointing is that the restaurant in terms of appearance and prices (19.50 for a dish and a sandwich from 11 euros) does indeed raise the expectations of a full-fledged restaurant. That is precisely why the quality of the food was very disappointing. For better quality, in this case you can honestly better just go to a good kebab shop, and that for a fraction of the price. In short: for us a very bad experience and not a place where we will ever return.

It tastes amazing, if you ever go to Deventer I definitely recommend you to come, the waiters, the chefs, the atmosphere, the service, everything is delicious, the prices are very reasonable👍

Marmaris is one of the oldest and most famous restaurants in Deventer, and for good reason. It is always a pleasure to be here. The atmosphere is warm and familiar, and you immediately feel welcome. The food is always delicious and freshly prepared. The service is excellent, friendly, fast and attentive. Every time a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good food and hospitality!

have been eating here for over 10 years, great service and real good Turkish food. It would be 5 stars if they also sold Turkish tea and coffee instead of normal tea and coffee. Turkish restaurant, and not offering Turkish tea or Turkish coffee? Why?

Had to wait a very long time, staff was slow. Finally got the meat in a bun that completely crumbled. No taste and certainly not worth repeating.

The group was looking for something easy to eat and came across this. Nice welcome and very warm. Fair prices but the quality was really good. We had chosen different dishes. Very pleasant and paying per person was no problem at all, highly recommended.

Amazingly high average score. Unfortunately, the meat was tough, lacked flavor, and potato wedges were served instead of fries at the kapsalon. There was also little lettuce. Moreover, we had to wait a very long time without any communication about when we would be helped. This was our first and last experience here. A friend who was with us even got food poisoning from the food.

Als je hier komt, bestel dan de Iskender kebab. Die is werkelijk echt lekker. Mooi van smaak en van textuur. Echt de moeite waard!

It was disappointing. The experience did not reflect the google rating. We were the only customers which tells it's own story. No wine available despite it is listed on the menu. Seems to be more of a fast food kebab shop than a Turkish restaurant.

Gastvrije bediening en sfeer. Lekker eten wat bereid is met veel kennis.

Wat een goeie shoarma hebben ze wauww!! Heb een shoarma schotel besteld met aardappeltjes kon ook kiezen voor rijst. Salade was uitgebreid zelfs feta zat erbij. Broodje erbij was lekker warm nog. Aardige personeel met goed service die ik kreeg. Schone zaak van binnen. Jammer dat ze niet bezorgen want parkeren in de buurt met auto is 200m verder. Bedankt en tot ziens

Al jaren een vast adresje om voor relatief weinig geld goed te eten. Ook nu weer prima gegeten. Wat de aanrader is? Geen idee. Alles is lekker. En het personeel is altijd super vriendelijk. Kortom! een aanrader

Vriendelijke mensen, mooie prijs en super lekker eten. Ik haal daar regelmatig een kop linzensoep zoals ie hoort, en een Turkse pizza met lekker veel groente. En ik ben weer bomvol.
