This was an order through Thuisbezorgd; The taste was okay, but nothing special. I asked if they could deliver at a specific time (I called right after ordering), but that wasn't possible due to the partnership with Thuisbezorgd. That's a valid reason, even though I don't agree with it. But the reluctance, the lack of service, and the lack of willingness to help will ensure I never order from them again.

I ordered kofte through Thuisbezorgd. It looked good and well-prepared, until I cut the kofte in half. I called immediately. They said they would make it right by re-making the kofte and bringing it to me. That's perfectly fine, of course. I waited 2.5 hours, but no kofte in sight, and no phone call either. I don't normally order online, and I find it delicious and cozy at Simit Sarayi. I've been so sick this week that I couldn't leave the house, so I had to order. Very disappointing, especially since my daughter (4) was really looking forward to it! I'm very disappointed.

Disappointing experience at Simit Sarayi Deventer I ate at Simit Sarayi in Deventer today, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The food tasted like it was two days old, not fresh at all. Furthermore, the staff were anything but friendly. Definitely not recommended.

My husband and son decided to buy something small at Simit Sarayai because I know there are several branches. We ordered two teas and two simple simit. When we indicated that we could sit outside, the employee said yes, but we have to pay first. Friends, you don't see me paying for something that might not even cost 20 euros. We cancelled the tea, took the sandwiches with us, paid for it and then left. You pay afterwards, don't you? Or is it just us? The food was okay and tasty, but you won't see me in this branch anyway.

Met up with colleagues for breakfast. We had a delicious meal. It was a truly enjoyable morning.

The two of us enjoyed a generous breakfast. Unfortunately, only one menemen was served, even though it was meant for two people. When we asked for extra bread after it ran out, we were asked if we wanted to order more and were charged an extra fee. The simit was hard and unappetizing. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing, and I wouldn't return.

Very bad business if you order here via Thuisbezorgd!! 1st time and never again, will advise everyone against it. Then you call them with a complaint, they say you can get the order again but you have to pick it up yourself. (while you ordered! So you don't have to leave the house). If you don't want the food anymore, returning it and getting your money back is also not an option, you have to solve it with Thuisbezorgd, you are then told. If you then pick this up via Thuisbezorgd, and then this business is so rude and unfriendly to customers to refuse the refund request. In short, almost 50 euros paid for VERY bad food. So customer friendliness is completely absent, and they apparently don't find customer acquisition & quality delivery important! See photos of some of the delivered food, burnt bread, etc., the others speak for themselves.

It was our first time there, but unfortunately, we'll never go back! It was very dirty; you could see the place hadn't been cleaned since the day before. There wasn't even butter at the buffet. We asked, and the lady said there wasn't any!

Super for those who want Turkish breakfast

3 stars We recently went to Simit Sarayı in Deventer. The staff was friendly and helpful, which we certainly appreciated. The atmosphere in the shop was also great. We ordered Simit and tea. The tea was tasty, but the Simit was unfortunately a bit disappointing. It was quite dry and didn't have much taste. We therefore found the food to be mediocre overall - not bad, but not really good either. In terms of service, everything was fine, but the food could be a bit better in our opinion. All in all an okay experience, especially thanks to the friendly staff, but not something we would quickly come back for.

A very warm and pleasant environment

When it was newly opened, the mixed breakfast was very good. More and more cheese etc. They reduced it, they forgot to add eggs to the menemen, they offer lots of fries and tell you to fill up with potatoes! Their pastries have never been delicious anyway! It still is! We won't be going again and I definitely don't recommend it! They employ people without insurance and do not give them their due!

Food was reasonable, but we were not treated well at all. The lady behind the counter was not helpful at all and gave a death look when I asked if the food could be heated up. In addition, other customers were simply treated earlier. Kindness and help was lacking. First and last time.

Open buffet breakfast started today. The ingredients are carefully selected and prepared. Most importantly, there is friendly and fast service, which is almost impossible to find in the Netherlands. Due to the intense interest, you may have to wait a bit for a free table, but even in the meantime, you will be constantly informed in a friendly manner. The prices are incomparably more affordable than the service and product quality provided. Even if you're not in Deventer, it's definitely worth the trip for a family Sunday breakfast. I recommend it to everyone.

Had a delicious meal at Simit Sarayi; a delicious kind of stew with beef, salad, bread and a delicious tapas of yogurt - orange - carrot? Delicious! Definitely worth repeating.

No more! Very disrespectful service! As a customer you are simply insulted and the food is of poor quality. The employee wanted me to literally leave the cafe for no reason, purely because I come from a region in Turkey. She has something against Turks from certain areas of Turkey. She is also Turkish, because she spoke Turkish. Very inexplicable behavior and very rude and disrespectful to the customer! The food was also very poor quality. Delicious sandwiches with cucumber/tomato and feta. Were warmed up and eaten outside on the terrace. Good suggestion from their lemonade to mix with orange juice... Highly recommended with this nice weather! Friendly and clear communication. It was just a bit warm inside. Luckily we were able to sit outside. Recommended for snacks!

What poor service and unfriendly staff. I've eaten here a lot in the past, but the staff there now is terrible. The lady immediately started speaking Turkish, even though I am not Turkish. Then she became very angry and started speaking very poor English. The second time I ate here, the other lady was also grumpy and my food was poorly heated.

I have visited simit saray in many cities but their branch in Deventer has an employee who treats customers in a very bad way.
