Very friendly, helpful, and hardworking staff. The owners are also very accommodating, especially regarding special requests. They do everything possible and often go the extra mile. The toilets and kitchen are very hygienic. The tables are neatly wiped down after every visit, and empty glasses are always collected promptly. As a result, there are hardly any wasps on the terraces. Inside, there is also ample opportunity to eat or drink at the bar, and there are plenty of tables available. Outside, there are two terraces: one in front of the entrance and one outside, a spot where self-service is available during busy periods; this is clearly indicated, and the staff also points this out to you, which is very considerate. There are some toys available for the children, and further away (but within sight when sitting on one of the terraces) there is a trampoline and a table tennis table. There are also two private beaches near the dining and drinking establishment. So, it is a great place to spend time for people (and animals, because dogs are welcome too!!!). A bowl of water and a tasty biscuit are provided for the dog without any fuss. A treat for everyone! I've been there several times already, I've added the menu and some photos of dishes that were delicious ❤️

A very bad experience with this restaurant. I visited this restaurant with my children on Friday evening. The restaurant was completely empty at that time; this was at 8:20 PM. Nevertheless, we decided to give it a chance and ordered several dishes. The food was served remarkably quickly, and at that moment, it tasted good. However, later that same evening, I became extremely ill. I vomited violently several times and felt so unwell that I was unable to work the next day. My son also developed severe gastrointestinal issues. Because the symptoms started a few hours after the meal, I am seriously concerned about the food safety and hygiene of this restaurant. I reported this to the restaurant by phone, but I found the response particularly disappointing and nonchalant. I was told that the owner was not present and that he would call me back later or that I should just send an email. I did not receive an apology or any serious response. I will therefore also report my experience to the NVWA, so that they can assess whether further investigation into the food safety and hygiene of this restaurant is necessary. For us, it was a very bad experience. I would not eat here again for the time being.

Last year I visited this restaurant and the food was simply amazing. I had the same burger and it tasted fantastic. I decided to visit the restaurant again, even though it’s a 50 km journey for me. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed this time. I ordered the same thing as a year ago, but it didn’t taste the same. The meat tasted like dog food — it was definitely not 100% beef, but rather some kind of mix of different meats. It was not the flavor I remembered. I left the whole burger untouched and didn’t eat anything. I’m disappointed, so be careful before ordering a burger here.

We made a reservation online before visiting the theater. We didn't receive a confirmation, and the restaurant was unreachable by phone (voicemail with a referral for pickup). When we arrived in the evening, everything was dark and the restaurant was closed. Fortunately, we found a table at another restaurant. It's strange that the online sign doesn't indicate that the restaurant is closed, nor that you can make a reservation through their own website, etc.

Desolate cocktails are a cola-rum mix with two ice cubes. This is not a Cuba Libre.
