Double ff in Binnenstad

What a terrible store! Ordered things an hour late, and even though I paid for them, they weren't delivered. I can't reach them by phone. I'll never order from them again.

There was no respect for ordering and the employee did not show respect for customers.

1 star is way too much, order incomplete. When I contacted her, she said it was included (it wasn't). Then I went to the store, and the woman got angry and told me I was lying. 7.50. And the woman yelled and was actually difficult to understand.

Terrible service. I ordered all sorts of things, including a bubble tea that leaked in the bag. When I removed the aluminum foil, the entire cup spilled onto the table. When I called the company, they told me it wasn't possible the bubble tea leaked and that I was lying. I also couldn't get through when I tried to explain what happened, because I was probably lying. I'll never order from them again!

It's not as bad as you think, the fries were actually delicious!! I really don't understand those negative reviews at all! It was just a great place.

What a freezing cold place... grabbing some fries before the cinema... cold restaurant, the door wouldn't close, but later it did... the staff just as cold! Grumpy, super stressed, and only busy with Thuisbezorgd orders. Fries cold, croquette exploded and empty inside... oh my... and to make matters worse, mustard in a bag with an expiration date of 6-1-2025... so sad! Never again!

A very poor snack bar. I ordered food online, but after an hour of ordering, I still hadn't received anything. The phone didn't answer. Absolutely terrible. Unfortunately, I also lost my money and had an empty stomach. Don't order your food here, order from another Double FF!

They add unreasonable amounts to the receipt that are not mentioned or communicated. The lady is very unfriendly because when I asked nicely for this she immediately started shouting. She doesn't let anyone finish. All the customers in the store were shocked by this but she kept shouting and that made me very sad.

What a horrible woman! She's screaming and demeaning. The word "service" isn't in her vocabulary. When my little one had to pee, she completely freaked out about us having to pay for it. I'll never go back and advise everyone to do the same. There are so many nicer, better, and cheaper places in Leeuwarden!

Very poor quality. We ate here and had to wait a very long time for our order, even though the restaurant was almost empty. Also, nothing came at once, so one person had almost finished their meal while another still had to start. It was also noticeable that the fries were repeatedly put back in the fryer, which was clearly visible from the color difference in the fries. A lot of people left their fries, which is understandable. Note: This only applies to double ff in the city center. We usually go to Bilgaard, where we've never had any complaints.

It is very expensive there, because 1 smulrol costs 5 euros, I thought that was not normal anymore and then I asked for a bag to put the smulrol in and then she asked another 20 euro cents for that 😡

We received expired drinks and the wrong food, and they accused us of doing it right. Eventually, they admitted their mistake, and we received the correct food.

Ordered two vanilla milkshakes. We got strawberry. It was clearly pink and tasted distinctly like strawberry. We went back and pointed this out, but they kept insisting it was vanilla. A scam. We threw the milkshakes away since we didn't like the strawberry. They simply took your money and didn't give you what you ordered. So don't order from here. I've learned from this and will only go to McDonald's next time. At least you get vanilla there when you order it, and it's 20 cents cheaper.

Last week I ordered large churros but got small ones. It was fine, I didn't complain about it. Now I'm getting a slushy for my girlfriend. €3.90 is debited from my account. I show them. But no, it didn't go well with them. Then I'm just ignored and called a naughty boy who's trying to rip me off. I'm completely done with this place.

We normally order from Bilgaard, which has excellent service! But unfortunately, they were closed today, so we thought we'd get the one from Zaailand... We received half our order, called to let them know something wasn't quite right, and then got a scolding from the woman who works there. Not a shred of customer service; we'd barely started the conversation and she was already saying everything was "just right." Well, never again!

Dirty place, spoiled sauce on the chicken burger, burnt bami slice, chicken corn sandwich with sour sauce paid almost 6 euros for it and no hand soap in the toilet that did not seem to have been cleaned for weeks

Pay attention to dates here. Today is June 2025, and I got Nutella from March 2023! The lady acts like it's nothing, you can't get sick from it, according to the lady. If she's already so casual about this, the rest of the shelf life won't be good either.

Extremely expensive, and not friendly at all. Speaks very bad Dutch, don't understand a word. I also indicated that, but she didn't become any friendlier. €7.60 for 2 frikadellen. Never again here! Quickly walk away.

What a bad experience we had. The gentleman is very friendly but the woman is very rude. She doesn't let a customer finish talking and doesn't want to listen to the wishes at all. In addition, she smears other companies. For us it will never be a visit to Double FF center Leeuwarden again

I ordered a chicken burger with the note 'no cucumber or pickle due to allergy' and so they just threw it in. Also ordered a milkshake which arrived with way too much syrup, I don't taste any milk and I don't taste any shake. I also ordered another milkshake, but it was extremely thick and undrinkable. I called her but found it unhelpful because she tried to sell me the lie that my order was completely correct, so I hung up. Then they had the decency to call me back to tell me again that my order was completely correct (which is not true) on a different number. Avoid this place. It's worth it to move on to a better tent. Now I just need a cigarette to clear my head.

Today we got ice cream at the Double FF center for 2 children. We were helped so unfriendly by an employee. After ordering these overpriced ice creams, I grabbed some napkins. The lady who helped us then commented that I took too many napkins for 2 ice creams. She said this in such a way that it irritated me greatly. I said that they are children and that from experience these napkins are needed. I put the napkins back and said what I thought about this. You will never see me here again and I recommend everyone to eat somewhere else. You don't want to be treated like that. And my daughter ended up looking like a Smurf (Smurf ice cream).

I paid €6.80 for ice cream and asked for an extra spoon. The staff made me wait 5 minutes, then rudely told me it costs €0.20. The ice cream wasn’t worth the price, let alone paying extra for a spoon. Very disappointing!

Staff is very friendly, location very convenient in the middle of the shopping area. But, prices are very high - soft ice cream 3 euros. And the atmosphere in the business is still very stuffy and sad in all these years.

Once ordered, the receipt stated that the order would be ready in 45 minutes at the latest. No lies about it. A few fries & chicken nuggets indeed take 45 minutes to prepare. With only 3 people waiting for us in the shop. And apparently all kinds of home orders and customers who walked in later had priority. Owner argued with another customer. And told my 9-year-old son who was looking at the counter (where his food was) to sit down... Worthless. The consolation was that at least the fries tasted good. And the small bottle of coke and the Fristi's costing just €4 😱 were ready immediately.

Not to be eaten. Fish is swimming in the canal again, but they are singing along nicely

Unfortunately, the hamburger delivered was specially cold. When we called about this, we got a loud mouth from the man and woman. Because according to them, the burger could not be cold. Rule No. 1. Customer is king. You will lose all your customers this way. We will never order from here again.

1 star is even too much. No atmosphere. Unfriendly woman who speaks poor Dutch, really understands almost nothing of what she says, very mean, food is expensive, Not customer friendly. Only concerned with making money. She has long telephone conversations behind the counter in her own language and in a loud voice. And her partner, as far as I think that is her husband, looks very unhappy and never happy or cheerful. Think it's been long time to retire for this couple. Especially when I read everyone's terrible reviews.

Burger was so nauseatingly drenched in overwhelmingly sour sweet bbq sauce that i got heartburn, bacon burnt, lettuce and tomato seemed like it had gone bad, the beef of the burger raw (but lukewarm???) in the middle and im pretty sure i got food poisoning from here. Fries were mediocre, no flavour except fat and salt and the prices are insane! 7,50 for 2 canned drinks?! The overal vibe of the place is OKAY but why is there a tv with music videos while the radio is playing a totally different song? And why is fastfood served on slabs of stone?? The place did not look gross in the guest area but behind the counter it was a totally different story. Overal the place is very inconsistent and should consider lessening condiments, cleaning thoroughly, rethink their hutsieflutsie concept , cook their food all the way and keep foods properly refrigerated... Customer service was fine, nothing bad to say about that at this time but i definitely wont be returning in this current state.

A very extensive menu! They were cleaning when we ate there but the service was still alright. We ordered some unusual things so it took a little longer; but if you get classics (fries, frikandel, krokets, etc) it will be faster. There's not much more to say; the place wasn't dirty but it wasn't clean either. Food was good; but it's hard to mess up fried stuff. I'd agree that it is on the pricier side for what you get. There are probably better options nearby for snacks.

Nasty people who sell there, pushy, dirty old people, scammers, people babysit if you pay, they don't give you enough money back and they put it in their own pocket and they just pretend like nothing happened, even when the police come, disgusting place and not to eat

Really bad burger, half of it was burnt and overdone. The fries were just too hard. We left this one. The bread was just soggy and fell off. The lady who helped us did not understand what we ordered at first. Furthermore, the table was cleared and not even asked if the food was tasty. When we walked past the employees on the way out, we weren't even said hello. We really don't come here anymore.

All the fries and snacks we ordered were way overcooked. Fries were just tough and croquette, chicken nuggets and chicken fingers were almost black. Waste of money.

Terrible. Worst kibbeling I've ever had, way too overcooked. There was no taste left. Even a dry rusk would have been better. The same goes for the milkshake. Service took way too long. The music was terribly annoying. And finally; the prices! Absurd. 20 euros for a portion of rancid kibbeling and two tasteless milkshakes.

Tasty fries and fricandel special, friendly service. This chip shop has been around for over 35 years. Wide range of snacks. You can order food online via Thuisbezorgd.

Croquette sandwich was neatly packaged and delivered. Fries are of good quality, long and golden yellow. Service is friendly. And it's understandable if you don't order anything that you have to pay to use the toilet. This way it stays clean and fresh.

Trotz der negativen Kritik waren wir da.sehr freundlicher Küchenmensch, auch hier war glutenfrei kein Problem. Sehr zu empfehlen.

We hadden besteld, Ik heb met contante betaald en toen we buiten zaten na 5 minuten kwam de eigenaresse boos naar buiten dat ik niet had betaald. Toen kijk ze en zei ze oh sorry verkeerd. Burgers waren te doen, Wel echt verzopen in de saus en bijzonder smaakpatroon

Bought a dizzie daim. Way to expensive at €6,80 and it didn't taste like daim at all. At first I asked for one with fruit but they said they didn't do fruit for the day anymore. I don't recommend you buying icecream here.

Kibbeling was redelijk naar smaak, maar erg duur aangezien de saus extra gerekend werd. Voor ons kind een hamburger speciaal besteld, excl. broodje. Voor de hamburger werd de volle pond gerekend(€6,70), hiervoor kreeg je alleen een halfgare hamburger met een kwak saus erop.. P.s. Het toilet was erg vies, leek alsof er kortgeleden iemand zijn maaltijd weer uitgespuugd had.

Burger was volgensmij gewoon in de tas gesmeten. Kaassouffle was lekker.

Heerlijk patatje., Netjes op een klein dienblad Tafels worden schoongemaakt. Was fris in de zaak, maar dan houdt je gewoon je jas even aan.

Kom hier af en toe voor een lekker soft ijsje of een snack. Word altijd vriendelijk geholpen en de zaak oogt schoon.
