I ordered a burger (classic Angus), and they brought me dry meat with cucumber, lettuce, and two dry buns with no sauce. It was a burger in name only, the plate was chipped, like a dog's. When I asked what sauces would be good to finish the meal, they offered mayonnaise and ketchup. 😄 My husband also received dry meat with shrimp of incomprehensible quality. It wasn't tasty, and we paid €60 for it.

I didn't really eat anything, but I had a porn star martini. It was pretty good except it didn't have the passion fruit on top. I really originally wanted a sex on the beach, but they informed me that it was not available yet, so yeah. Food looked mediocre, if you are hungry you wont leave dissatisfied.

This restaurant is terrible. The steak was cold and dry, the service was awful, and the waiter was Arab and served without enthusiasm. Unfortunately, I was scammed and I absolutely do not recommend it.

The only reason I even put a one star review is because I can’t just put a 0. The smell when we first entered was so pungent I almost turned around. However, unfortunately for me and my stomach AND THE RESTROOM, I stayed. The meat was RAW even though it took over an hour to get my order. I sent it back to be cooked a bit more. Got it back, and it didn’t hell the weird taste. The ceasar salad was basically just old lettuce leaves coated in mayonnaise. The water cost over 8 euros alone. This experience made me wish I was never born. And, to complete this fine dining experience, the owner or the manager decided to slide by our table and take the salt away too. I feel my stomach about to burst as I am writing this. I am dying in agony

Usually I’d research restaurants before eating at them. Stopped here for an impromptu lunch. It was £75 for two. Wouldn’t have fed the meat to my dog. Salad wasn’t good either.

We walked around the square looking for outside seating with heat lamps & found this cute place for dinner so stopped in. The staff was quick to get you in, get your drink order right way. We wanted a lite dinner so we ordered the goulash soup, Caesar salad & appetizer of stuffed mushrooms. My husband & I wanted to share it. We sat waiting for 40 minutes & watched 3 new tables get their food before we did and they had steaks and larger meals??? Our waiter never came to check on us since we gave our order. We tried flagging 3 waiters down but they never come over until we got up to ask one of them if they lost our order? Because these 3 new tables already had their food & they were right next to us on the patio. We had soup & salad so that can’t take long? He came back & said another 10 minutes. So now it’s 45 minutes waiting, no more drinks or contact. Once we finally got our meal the other tables had left and the waiter said they were short on staff.. Hummm ok we will run with that. It was a Tuesday evening & not packed. Oh well, we enjoyed our meal quickly & left. Service is key… we understand things happen in this industry but don’t lie to us. Offer a drink or dessert or simply say sorry we lost your order or forgot to put it in. Unfortunately that left a bad experience for us. Will not go back since we are staying here for 10 days… Learning lesson & best of luck.

The worst experience of my life, people just made it a scam cafe. I wish the owner of this "barn" the same exotic diarrhea that I had after visiting this place. The steak is just awful. In addition, everything you don't usually ask about costs 3-4 times more than normal. Water for 8 euros, gin and tonic charged separately 24 + 7 euro. The poor waiters are forced to listen to customer complaints because the owner decided that the best way to line his pockets is to cheat.

It seems very ran down. - The food was really average. - All the pepper and salt shaker seemed finished and they had to move them between tables. - The toilet was filthy. Smelly, staines and with stickers everywhere. - And the awnings and walls are just covered with bird poo. (Pic attached) Ledseplein deserves much better

Considering it’s in a busy area, I expected better. The prawns were mushy and the chicken wings had a strange taste. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Prawns ordered were so over cooked and mushy. Chicken wings were dry and no flavour lots of sauce put over it. Nachos came with bacon and had to send it back.

Avoid: in addition to soliciting, the order taking process is well organized, with the maximum drink size selected and the sauce offered without specifying the extra charge. Specializing in meat, the quality is mediocre, and the quantity is underestimated compared to the advertised amount. The accompanying salad, on the other hand, is completely bland, if not bad. The biggest downside, and there is one, is the service. There was no friendliness, and a server engaged in a long discussion about so-called French racism. We were completely stunned by this inappropriate reasoning. In short, a place I do not recommend, as you can see.

Disappointment. Avoid!!! Mainly tourist customers that eat here once and never come back. This place would not have survived without these “one time customers”. To summarize: food is tasteless and value for money is low.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant. We had to wait quite a long time. The 250g steak was the only good thing, but not so good that it justified the €25 price tag. The burger came without any sauce, and the bun was dry and cold (not toasted or warmed). The fries were unseasoned and lukewarm. The salad (see photo) was old and unseasoned. The waitress was nice. The menus were dirty and quite greasy. The restrooms were old, run-down, and not very clean. Unfortunately, we advise against another visit.

I asked for medium rare steak and I got a steak that was pretty much raw. The salad was plain and undressed. Fries were the only decent thing on the plate. Don’t everrrrr get the peppercorn sauce. It was sour and fishy giving tartare sauce??

This restaurant made me sick. I ordered the seafood paella and ended up vomiting badly a few hours later. This kind of food safety issue is unacceptable. I will never come back, and I strongly warn others—especially if you’re thinking about eating seafood here. Clearly something is wrong with their kitchen hygiene or food storage.

Worst salad I've ever eaten. Ordered a shrimp and mango salad. The salad dressing was completely tasteless, 3 tiny shrimp, and the table was unwashed and still dirty from previous customers. I do not recommend it.

The sauce tasted like it was ready-bought. The room temperature in the bathroom was unbearably high. After eating there, my boyfriend got diarrhea.

Not even a drop of sauce for a 15 euros burger, just one slice of raw tomato and one slice of cucumber. Angus burger definitely not angus meat but probably frozen discount meat. This restaurant is not worth the big value you pay for, avoid it.

Quaint little place in heart of Rembrandt square. Great prices and plenty of options. We had the rib steak and a Cesar salad both were tasty.

Situated on a corn of Rembrandt square is downtown steak House. I absolutely loved this restaurant and visited twice over the kingsday celebrations. First time was a very late evening meal where I had a delicious mix grill served on a portable mini bbq which I love the idea of and the partner had a beef beefburger. Mest on the grill was perfect and reasonably priced. Second visit was just for early evening drinks and dessert after a very long day. Do love there brownies here and a nice pint of Heineken lager! Big thanks to GINO who was polite, attentive, friendly and created a lovely happy atmosphere across the restaurant. Outside heaters and fire pits to help you on them chilling Amsterdam evenings so still comfortable eating outside. Great location for a spot of people watching

Run away! We were tired from our day, we let ourselves be persuaded by the tout on duty. It was a bad thing for us. 40 minutes of waiting and barely edible dishes. Run away, run away. and, as unfortunately I had forgotten that evening, NEVER ENTER a restaurant where people are soliciting you in the street. We didn't even have dessert, so. It was too bad...

Fairly warm welcome but the kitchen leaves something to be desired. The burgers were made with frozen steak, the sides cost money but you don't know until the end of the meal and they even missed the salad. I don't really recommend.

With a friend we ate on the terrace, it was very good despite the servers not being very smiling, not very welcoming except the person who seated us who was very cool. The atmosphere outside in the evening with the kind of small braziers is very pleasant. Affordable prices.

Tourist food, €30 for surf and turf...two sad shrimps and a hint of steak...for anyone who wants to lose weight, there's nothing else. Oh yes, the extra sauce we ordered cost an additional €3.

The only saving grace about the place is Melissa, the food is very bad, the salmon arrived in very bad condition and when discussing it with the waiter the response was: sorry. The burger is nothing out of this world. Very bad experience.

Except for Melisa and another young waiter, who were friendly, there was nothing good about it. The onion soup was average, nothing special; I ordered the salmon tostada and decided not to eat it; no one bothered to ask why I didn't touch the plate; the vegan burger was dry. I don't recommend it, nor would I return; it was money wasted.

Terrible servicio. La comida era mala. El personal era muy poco servicial cuando se trataba del menú. Pedí una hamburguesa, que se sirvió en un bollo seco frío. Sin mayonesa, sin salsa, sin mostaza, sin ketchup. A cada cobertura se le cobraba extra por ello aunque no se mencionara en el menú. No servían agua del grifo, nos dijeron que el propietario insistió en que bebiéramos agua embotellada y de nuevo nos cobraron por esto, a pesar de que el agua del grifo es perfectamente segura en Amsterdam. Mi amigo tomó un filete y una ensalada. El filete estaba sabroso. Pero la ensalada no tenía aderezo. Nadie se molestó en vernos después de que la comida llegó. Cada uno tenía patatas fritas y no tenían absolutamente nada de ketchup en el restaurante! Nadie quitó nuestros envases de bebidas o botellas. Platos sucios dejados en la mesa muy pequeña. Mucha gente. Tuve la impresión de que el personal era todo gruñón. Es una gran ubicación, pero absolutamente no vale la pena los 60 euros.

Food was mediocre at best which you expect in a tourist hotspot. We were seated outside at our request by a lovely young man who couldn't do enough to help. However while eating we watched the same young man be berated almost to the point of bullying by two older men that worked at the restaurant who were trying to entice passers by to come in to eat. We asked one of the 2 older men for the bill 3 times before it was finally brought to us and a card machine was thrust at our faces. We asked to split the bill and my friend paid their portion and I said I'll pay the rest. He said I don't know how much that is as I have to input the amount on the screen. We worked the remaining balance and I paid and left. The service would of been a 5 star if we had only been served by the original waiter but after our interaction with the other 2 outside members of staff.

A lot of people were sitting outside, so we decided to come inside and take a look. The restaurant wasn't anything special, though. Our food was prepared quite well, but the wine card was lacking in presentation: the only available wine was white, rose, and red. The bar stand had wine bottles missing from the menu. There's a comfortable terrace, too. Overall, the restaurant isn't too atmospheric, fit only for a single visit. Also, my crème brûlée was frozen (sad)

También tenía una patata chaqueta como un lado que venía sofocado en crema fresca que era un placer encantador. I really want negetive stars to review this restaurant We have waited for 1.5 hour.. then they said they have messed up with the order. After our order the restaurant hosted 20 group of people, and delivered food in front of me in 15 mints. It seems if you are going in a big group then its fine fir them else not.
