Good place to enjoy good food when you are a big group and don't know where to go and what to eat. There is a big menu and you can pick a couple of options. The food was very good. I had the hamburger with topping of my choice and enjoyed it very much. The fries were crispy and with good spices. The service was very nice and helpful for questions.

Downtown was an outstanding experience. The mojitos were expertly crafted with bold, refreshing flavours. Sorry but this place is super bad. Had a stake, 300g and it was so over cocked. The pepper sauce was just a béarnaise sauce with green pepper in it, no sallad to my meal. Fries was ok. Hard to miss that one. Wife had a onion soup with bread. Was soup and onion, not so tasty. No grilled cheese on top.

T-bone - it was cooked well, service was late but let's face it it was quite busy. But what bothered me the most was the tall guy at the cash register who forced me to pay a tip. I've never had that happen anywhere I've been. He printed the bill of payment which was €110 and wrote from the pen on the back that I owe €121. Very ugly!

Lovely Ribeye steak, and great fries love the seasoning. Recommend the peppercorn sauce, also my partner got a Caesar chicken burger she loved it. Our little ones wanted pasta carbonara and a cheese pizza so the waiter got us it ordered from another sister restaurant. Great service and friendly very friendly staff especially Gino goes out of his way to make you comfortable.

All in all it was fine. The waitresses were partly very friendly, partly a bit unmotivated, which was perhaps because there were far too many on duty for too few guests, but it was good. My steak could have been a little warmer, the side salad didn't taste that good. The fries were average. The Caesar salad really only contained lettuce, no tomatoes/corn or anything like that. I was really looking forward to the Creme Brulee, it came with ice cream and cream, but it was only lukewarm and it wasn't caramelized well. 3 stars is good here, although the price is a bit high.

Food was average, lacked flavor and smothered in oil, (not olive oil). Service, one of the servers was arrogant, ripping the menu out of wife’s hand before she had finished her order. When the meal was done he never asked how the food was but was arrogant to ask twice for a tip and when I said no he looked over at his work mate and pulled a face. My advice, keep walking and find one of the many amazing local restaurants with great service.

Do not eat here. They will try to lure you in and make false promises like “if you don’t like it you don’t have to pay for it” and then give you completely sub-par food and really terrible dessert and argue with you after they made you wait for 10-20-30 minutes. The staff were rude, inattentive and unhelpful. Very hard to get a hold of our waiter and when we did it was very hard to communicate our displeasure with the food. When the waiter first came by I thought they asked “was it good” to which I said “no sorry” and they walked off. We thought it was strange, after a while, an hour, (the waiter walked past us multiple times and glanced at us and at one point looking at their phone.) they finally stopped by where we again informed them that we did not like the food, she said something none of quite heard and wakes off, we thought they might get the cook, manager or anyone but no. We didn’t see them again, 30 minutes goes by and a new waiter appears we tell them the same tale we told the last one, a bit of back and forth and they take our plates. (In retrospect we should’ve taken a picture of the food) And then we waited again. Then a man comes out and tries to convince us that it was our fault because we didn’t say anything earlier(we tried) and that the food was half eaten. (I had two bites of that awful red velvet cake and gave a taste to my friends to have them confirm that there was definitely something wrong with it. Because the waiters were so slow the ice cream and cream melted.) He was so unhelpful and rude, we ended up paying for the mid food and got one dessert taken off the bill. I’ve never experienced such disgusting service anywhere. When we were leaving we saw another touristy couple and we warned them to not eat there. To which the same man came up to me and told be that what we did was disgusting to which I replied that what he did making us pay for that food that and with that service was disgusting. I do not care if I’m blacklisted from that place because I truly believe they shouldn’t be up and running. Do not eat here, I cannot stress this enough. Don’t bother eating here A few friends I was having a look at the menu when not even a second went by before a man came up to us and started “hustling” us into the restaurant, we told him first that we were just looking but he wouldn’t stop until we sat down. We thought the food seemed appealing so we thought we give it a go. I’ll keep it short by saying the food was underwhelming and the dessert was dry and the consistency was off. Tourist catcher! Literally bullshit. We ordered 3 starters which were frozen bread with butter and crème fraîche… For the dishes we each took 3 burgers made from “Angus” beef but it was literally not beef, I don’t know what the hell they did inside… 1 slice of tomato and 3 rocket leaves I had to make my own bruger by adding the sauces. Terrible frozen fries. And very average service

Esto no es una experiencia de restaurante, muy mal servicio , personal argumental . Una lástima que no toda la comida era mala y de hecho algunos miembros del partido disfrutaron de su comida, pero para la mayoría era muy pobre. El problema no era la comida sino la actitud y el carácter defensivo del personal. Si pudiera calificar esto más bajo le daría un cero.

Deze plek is op een geweldige locatie in Amsterdam en gericht op Tourisme. Ze willen vooral niet dat je vaker terug komt. De bediening is amateuristisch en het eten is heel slecht. Ik heb er gisteravond gegeten en zit vrijwel de hele dag al met diarree op de wc. Degene waarmee ik was, die alleen hier hetzelfde voedsel heeft gegeten, heeft het ook. Ik zou dit aan niemand aanraden!!! Als je alleen een drankje doet is het oké, maar er zijn veel betere restaurants! Niet naartoe gaan!!!!

Wir waren hier zum Abendessen nach einem Stadtrundgang. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienung nicht aufdringlich. Kann man weiterempfehlen.

Dit was geen leuke ervaring, eten op bord gesmeten, zag er niet uit. Toch 2 sterren omdat de vis perfect was klaargemaakt. Zeker geen aanrader.

DISCRIMINATED RESTAURANT That was the awful experience. I am Asian, travelling from Toronto to visit Amsterdam. I saw this restaurant and looked nice, cozy and right in downtown, I asked one lady server the table for 1 in patio. She showed the table. Then I were waiting for 20 minutes. THERE WAS NO SERVERS COME TO SERVE ME . There was one white lady customer sat next to my table. In 20 minutes, I counted 3 times the server came to her to ask about the food experience, and 2 times one guy liked supervisor or manager came to her table to talk with her. But I were like invisible for them. None of them came to ask me about the food and drinks. I left after waiting 20 minutes. That was the huge discrimination restaurant. Food tasteless, service terrible, we were eating our starter when the main course was brought out, waitress did not take the food back so we didn’t get to finish our starter.

Terrible! Everything is bad. Run away! One star is even too much I chose the grilled giant shrimps, and they were served on rotten salad as if it had been taken from the bin or previous plates. The shrimps were not fresh and tasteless. They must have been frozen and defrosted several times, as the texture was more like a paste. Disgusting, and of course, I was sick the next day. The mixed salad is served with no dressing. The waiters, students are nice, while the managers are unfriendly and argue in front of the customers. Pass on this place and avoid it at all costs.

We ordered two burgers here: black angus and ceasar. And these were the worst burgers I have ever eaten: the black angus patty is fried in the sole, there is no cheese, there is practically no sauce in the burger, it is very dry. In the end, we didn’t even finish it.

We were in this place yesterday. The burger was dry and very tasteless. You will be persistently lured here, but believe me, the burger at the McDuck around the corner will be much better ☹️

This is just really not nice. We received bread beforehand during the main course. Hamburger cold fries cold steak cold. Asked 3 times for the bread and it still didn't come. You're better off eating at McDonald's.
