Pleasant atmosphere and location. I ordered a ribeye steak; the meat was very good, though not exceptional. The only issue was that it said it came with rice, but the rice was basmati with curry; they should specify that. Also, the drinks were served by the glass, not by the bottle. Everything else was great.

Best Steak i have had in amsterdam for sure. The staffs were so friendly. i will surely visit next time.

I don't like writing bad reviews at all, but this was definitely my worst restaurant experience so far. Menus that were dirty and sticky. The starter (bread basket) that was served at the same time as the main course, a herb butter that was still frozen, and 2 other watered-down "sauces." A salad swimming in some kind of dressing with frozen shrimp, lacking flavor and texture. A "Black Angus burger" without sauce, a wilted lettuce leaf, and old cucumber. The fries that came with it were fine, by the way. We left almost the entire salad untouched, but not a single question from the staff about how we ate. Paying super fast (with a mistake on the receipt) and leaving with as few words as possible... The only thing I can say is that the prices were better than I expected for a place right in the middle of a tourist area.. Truly disappointing, a waste of our time, money, and taste.. 😖 The owner contacted me in a reply asking me to email, but the email address doesn't seem to be working/is inactive..

The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was served quickly, and the quality of the ingredients was good. The only complaint I had is that I asked for the meat to be medium rare, but it was instead cooked rare.

The restaurant is amazing—a beautiful, cosy place with such a warm atmosphere. Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious, and we genuinely enjoyed every dish! We were also warmly welcomed by the staff, who were all very kind and attentive. A special mention to Othman, with whom we had a lovely conversation and who made our experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be coming back again! ❤️

If I could give 0 stars I would. Simply the worst "meal" I've ever had. Asked for well done steak received bleeding steak and two raw burgers, sent them back and 25 mins later received luke warm, still pink steak and the exact same burgers back with blood seeped into bun. We didn't eat at all. No apologies, just an incorrect bill. We were being charged for items we didn't order. Rude staff, I wouldn't describe what we had as service so I won't insult the excellent servers we have encountered in the city by describing it as such. AVOID AVOID AVOID .

It is unacceptable that I had to discover an overflowing bucket placed underneath the urinal, leaving me literally standing in urine. When I reported the issue, I expected immediate action to be taken. Instead, I was met with a series of excuses and explanations. I raised the matter in a respectful and constructive way, simply with the intention of having the problem resolved. However, I did not receive a single apology for the situation, nor even a simple “thank you” for providing constructive feedback. As if that were not enough, someone from the kitchen eventually approached me in a threatening manner, asking what the problem was. I have never experienced anything like this before. It was a very unpleasant experience and completely unworthy of a city like Amsterdam.

A truly delightful experience from start to finish. The food is highly recommendable, full of flavor and beautifully presented. All the waiters were very attentive, but I want to especially highlight Munna, who took care of us with a lovely, attentive service throughout the evening. If I ever come back to Amsterdam, I will definitely return to this restaurant — and I hope Munna will still be there!

Our Steaks were very tasty. I also loved the rice. Our server was very friendly and sweet. We picked seats outside. The ambience objectively wasn't perfect but exactly what we were looking for with it being rather relaxed. Would definitely go there again when we visit Amsterdam again. Greetings from Germany 👋🏻

We ordered a burger and a vegan stew, what did we get? Ribs and the wrong burger, they got two out of two orders wrong and didn’t show us very much that they cared, I don’t know if they threw the food away or gave the food with the already licked fork to someone else, eitherway that sucks! The waiter wasn’t very friendly and told us after some complications that it wasn’t his problem, and people say the customer is king😒. Apart from that there aren’t many vegan or even vegetarian options which in 2026 you definitely could expect! But at least the food wasn’t that bad, it tasted pretty good (the two stars because of the lack of vegan options)

Chicken wings didn’t seem grilled and the flavour wasn’t very nice. Prawn starter also wasn’t very good - wasn’t sizzling. Got the butchers platter - the steak lacked flavour, they were three different cuts, but tasted all the same, only one was medium rare as requested. There was also fly in the soft drink, but they did replace this. Rice was flavoursome and if you had a bit of steak, a bit of rice and a bit of chip in the same mouthful it tasted good.

Last week I stayed in Amsterdam for a couple of days and I visited this restaurant during dinner. The food was very tasty. But the service did not disappoint. The waiters do not communicate with each other. Everyone comes individually for the same question. Of all the drinks we asked for, in the end they only had draft coca cola and mineral water. They lost everything. According to me, the procurement and service (waiters) were scheduled. But the food because it was impeccable!

Very bad. My boyfriend and I ordered a carafe of rosé. The inside of the carafe itself was dirty and the rosé wasn't cold. My boyfriend's food was just fine. I ordered the mixed fish but received salmon. When I pointed this out, I was told that there had been a miscommunication in the kitchen. Eventually, I did get the correct dish. That included a piece of salmon as well. But this definitely came from the plate I had received initially. Unbelievably dry, I couldn't eat it. The other fish was tasty though. In the end, I even got a €7 discount on the dish.
