You have to wait for hours for everything. The service is absolutely terrible. We even waited 20 minutes just to get the bill. Completely unacceptable.

Since it was Christmas, we didn't have a chance to eat without a reservation. We shopped at the store. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Prices are standard Hard Rock Cafe prices.

An American restaurant with several branches around the world, the place is very cozy and romantic, with views overlooking the canal, allowing you to see the canal cruise and the people around. Visit the Rock Shop; there's a lot of great and unique merchandise here, from guitars and t-shirts to hats, hoodies, towels, and various other accessories. Located on Max Euweplein, Amsterdam, in the city center, it features a Rock Shop, Cafe, and Rock Bar. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The service is excellent. If you're a tourist, you can get a tax refund if you shop here.

Typical Hard Rock Cafe. Delicious drinks, great burgers, fantastic location. Of course, I had to take some souvenirs home with me. There was a Hard Rock Cafe outlet diagonally across the street. It was totally worth it. Definitely worth checking out.

A few years ago when I was in Amsterdam, this was my very first Hard Rock Cafe experience! The food was great and the atmosphere as every that knows off Hard Rock will know was perfect.

A cozy atmosphere with a beautiful view of one of Amsterdam's canals. It has a clothing store themed around the country, which I thought was fantastic. Definitely worth a visit!

From the staff to the food, can everything be this perfect? ​​You absolutely must come and try it... Definitely... But appointments are a must.

Very crowded. The waiting was too much for us (over 40 min) so ee didn't have a chance to enjoy the food and atmosphere, but the (crowded) bar was nice. Very polite staff.

Not like other Hard rock restaurants. Needs renovation. The location is great with a view at the canal. But the inside is not attractive. However,they have gluten free dishes.

The memorabilia here is scarce, more posters that items personal to the stars. The menu is the hard rock menu world over. Well executed. Ask for a window seat downstairs. You can watch canal tours and the employee service bar.

Surprised by the separation of the restaurant and bar. Nice shop. Nice reception area with photo booth and phone charging station... The separation creates a bit of a segregation. The decor is nothing special.

We went to the Hard Rock Cafe Amsterdam for dinner last Tuesday and it was simply fantastic. The atmosphere is lively, cozy, and instantly puts you in a good mood. Our waiter was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always had a smile on his face. My wife and I felt completely at ease from the very beginning. The food was fresh, delicious, and arrived promptly. Overall, it was a perfectly harmonious evening that we thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be back!

There was 8 of us went to this place it was booked for 7 o'clock and we were out by 7-50 did not have a good experience felt rushed the girl kept asking what we wanted to drink then I don't know how many times she came back to see if we were ready to order food she was not giving us a chance when we got our food as soon as someone was finished with their plate it was taken straight away from the table I still had half my dinner to eat did not feel comfortable felt rushed I just told her to take the plate away because she was rushing us to finish I have worked in pubs and I have never seen service like this in my life I was very disappointed as it was my son's 40 th birthday we were celebrating I would never be back in hard rock cafe if that's the way they treat their customers

I had the worst experience in Amsterdam dining in 5 years, my grilled chicken had black spots and red as well, the food was heated not fresh at all, not seasoned and tasteless, I had 3 other people with me and we all had stomach aches after. Do not recommend

I ate there with my wife and two daughters. The restaurant is lovely and the service is excellent. It's definitely worth paying a little more than at other chains for the quality of service.

Totally disappointed! We weren't supposed to wait 30 minutes, then they gave us a 90-minute limit! So, after we finally ordered, the server came and told us they were out of chicken tenders, which is unfortunately the only thing my wife usually eats there. So we canceled the entire order and left. I've never experienced anything like this at any Hard Rock Cafe. The chef needs more practice.

It was good...a strategic stop at the port....good atmosphere....excellent music....a bit expensive...but that's the city for you...I'll be back

A world-renowned restaurant that needs no introduction. Whenever I visit a place in Europe that's there, I absolutely must go... The restaurant specializes in American-style burgers and sandwiches. It has its own dedicated area and bar, and sometimes there's live music.

We had a truly delicious dinner. The service was quick and friendly, and our experience was especially enhanced by the outstanding attention from our waiter, Kyriakos. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly with a genuine smile and made us feel immediately comfortable. His professionalism, kindness, and thoughtful service elevated our entire evening.

Great food and lively atmosphere

We popped in to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and have a plate of turkey and stuffing. Very nice location, decent food but the service was outstanding. Ada was our server and she made our daughter’s birthday such a delightful experience. We would like to thank her for the time and attention she heaped on our little girl. (And it was her own birthday at that!) Thank you Ada and the entire team for making the day a memorable one.

Went with a group of 6 friends while visiting Amsterdam. As someone who has frequented Hard Rock cafés in Europe and the USA, I have to say the venue in Amsterdam is one of my favourites. Davide our server was brill, he was attentive, understood and delt with my food allergies brilliantly and was very engaging. The food was also very tasty and the drinks even more so ☺️

Unfortunately, it's a bit dated. However, the waiters were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was just what you'd expect from a Hard Rock restaurant. It's about a 30-minute walk from the train station, which is quite manageable and makes for a pleasant stroll through the city center. Definitely worth it.

A place I just pass through in Amsterdam. Sure, hard cafes are everywhere, but I find that Amsterdam isn't exactly known for its fine dining. It's nice to stop for a good burger. Plus, it's well located by the water where you can watch the boats go by. The staff is really friendly, we always receive a very warm welcome, and the burgers are truly excellent, always served with passion and at a reasonable price.

A memorable evening at the Hard Rock in Amsterdam. The location is beautiful, nestled among the canals (especially the seats near the windows), the decor is beautiful, and the food is delicious. The staff, who speak several languages, is truly the added value of this place! They're incredibly knowledgeable and kind, and know the dishes well, and they give excellent advice! Delicious food, excellent service Not cheap

This was my first time ever visiting a Hard Rock Cafe, and unfortunately it turned into a very disappointing experience. When I walked in, the atmosphere initially impressed me; it genuinely felt like stepping into America. As a Dutch resident who has visited NYC before, it briefly brought back those memories. The prices were shockingly high. I paid almost 7 euros for a single glass of Fanta. The food was good, but also on the expensive side. I could have overlooked that if the service hadn’t been unacceptable. Our server introduced himself, but from the moment he took our order, his attitude changed completely. Since we weren’t very hungry, we only ordered one dish and one drink each. Apparently that wasn’t good enough for him, because his service immediately became cold and dismissive. While he was extremely friendly and attentive to the five other tables around us, he treated us noticeably differently. I watched him refill everyone’s empty glasses, every single one, except ours. He didn’t even bother to ask if we needed anything. He barely stopped by our table at all, and in the end I had to call him over just to get basic service. Despite giving us the poorest service in the entire section, he still expected a tip. When I politely said I didn’t want to leave one, he became irritated. I refuse to feel guilty about that. Why should I tip someone who clearly decided from the start to give us intentionally bad service? Paying nearly 7 euros for a soda while others around us got refills without even asking was frustrating enough, but being treated as if we didn’t matter simply because we ordered less was unacceptable. I am certain he gave us worse service on purpose, and then had the nerve to be annoyed when he wasn’t rewarded for it. Overall, this experience ruined my first visit to Hard Rock Cafe. He should consider himself lucky we didn’t complain on the spot. I will not be returning.

A very lovely spot if you’re looking for amazing burgers and great cocktails! The location is perfect — close to several museums and even a casino. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the fries were fantastic. Everything was super tasty, and the view while eating by the canal made it even better. Such a wonderful place!

We had lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe during our trip to Amsterdam and were very impressed. The restaurant is very distinctive and meticulously designed. The menu is well-organized, and the dishes we ate were spectacular. The staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous. An honorable mention goes to the chicken, which was beautifully breaded (pictured). Less atmosphere than any other Hard Rock I've been to. The restaurant is small and not very well located, in my opinion. But I still recommend it.

The staff members were all incredibly attentive and genuinely friendly! They patiently and happily explained anything we asked about. The Cobb salad, ribs, fajitas, smash burgers—everything tasted fantastic!

We visited this establishment on a special offer from a tour. We loved everything: the food was wonderful, the waiters were attentive, and we were given the best seats overlooking the canal. And the dessert was a special treat. I highly recommend it.

Very cool cafe! Like the other cafes. But the staff at the cafe entrance is so unfriendly and rude. They were only polite inside the cafe itself.

Very sad after our experience today... We're regulars and have been coming to the Hard Rock Cafe Amsterdam every year for years. Today we wanted to show this place we love so much to my in-laws, but they made us wait a good 5 minutes standing up only to tell us we couldn't eat or have a drink because we had our little chihuahua (who was in his bag). I should mention that we take our dog with us EVERY YEAR (see photo) and we've been to many Hard Rock Cafes in other countries. The Hard Rock Cafe was on our itinerary, as it is every year. We walked 3km just to get there with my brother-in-law who has Down syndrome, an elderly person, and a pregnant woman. The reason? "It's not hygienic for the kitchen." I didn't really understand their excuse since we didn't even set foot in the kitchen. :') And especially since they didn't even want us to go to the bar area...!! But in any case, we'll never set foot in there again!! What a disappointment, it was really a place we loved going to…

The food is not very interesting and service was so-so. Nothing to write home about except that it's in a good location. I wouldn't go back.

This was my grandmother's favorite restaurant. However, this time it has gone downhill. The service had become significantly less attentive. Very disappointing. The burgers themselves have gotten smaller. We also weren't told we'd paid for our drinks and could get one downstairs. We only realized this when we got home. Since parking is more expensive than a drink, we didn't go back. But unlike our previous experiences here, this one was drastically disappointing. It's a shame, but we won't be coming back anytime soon.

Amazing evening at the Hard Rock Cafe Amsterdam! Me and my husband both had the smash burgers, my husband has a gluten intolerance as well as other dietary requirements and the service was incredible! Our server was Kyriakos and he was brilliant! So friendly and welcoming, the manager came over to our table as well to help us with the dietary requirements and make sure that everything was ok and she was really understanding and very helpful! We had a lovely evening and would definitely recommend, we can't wait to go back!

When we're abroad, we always stop by this chain's cafes. The meat is delicious. In Amsterdam, surprisingly, the cafe is very small, and you have to wait for a seat. There are also very few exhibits on the walls. The ribs, as always, are prime!

As always, a must-visit for anyone who likes this genre. The special feature is a section of the shop that overlooks the canal. It's in the museum area, so it's a bit of a walk-through.
