Everything was delicious. We tried the chicken wings and smash burger.

I had my first dinner at a hard rock cafe in many cities in Europe. This is my habit. I came to Amsterdam with a reservation. I was never kept waiting. The food was good. Fajitas and nachos. The staff was friendly. However, I was told that there were no wine glasses and had to drink wine in a water glass. The water glass was also freshly washed and wet. We objected but the waitress said there was no solution. The place had few rock memories. It was a stuffy place. But the canal view was nice. We were very disturbed by the people shouting and screaming.

I stopped in here for dinner one evening. I was greeted and was sat right away. Our server was excellent they were quick and very spoke English. I ordered the shrimp tacos and they were very good. For the table, we had the brownie sundae with ice cream and whip cream. I have been to other locations of this restaurant and this location is much better than others.

Compared to others around the world, this was small and so not much in the way of Rock memorabilia. However, the food was fantastic. Decent portions and very tasty. A good lunch for two are their nachos. The shop is stocked with a good range of t-shirts, caps and importantly, pins to add to my collection.

Awful, awful food. Fajitas are “Tex-mex” but come with no seasoning. Honestly wish I’d spent money elsewhere. Memorabilia is quite cool I guess? Go anywhere else in Amsterdam.

The food and service were top-notch, as usual. The decor was clean and tidy. I was just a bit disappointed with the type and number of exhibits compared to other Hard Rock Cafés. The Miley Cyrus onesie isn't exactly something I'd go there specifically for again. But the food and service were both excellent. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We're passionate about Hard Rock Cafes around the world. The one in Amsterdam is now part of our collection. The food and cocktails were excellent, as always. The ambiance is fantastic, too. The service was very attentive and friendly.

Thanks to Ana & Carolina! We visited twice in 3 days & both were outstanding, real credits to the HRC Amsterdam. They went the extra mile to make our experience a good one. Thanks to the kitchen staff, the food was excellent & they ensured that meals were suitable for allergies within our party. Recommend to anybody.

It's not bad, but it's not as bad as it's made out to be either.

The food was really good, I tried the new Nonna's burger, which was great! They were also really good with accommodating allergens. The service was brilliant, so helpful and friendly. Would just be great if there was a bit more rock music and the volume turned up slightly 😀

If you're craving a burger, this is a great option. The staff is very attentive. They also have gluten-free options. If you want to sit inside, you may need to reserve in advance, while for the terrace, reservations are not required, as reservations are not allowed outside.

Breakfast was tasty and affordable. Only negative thing: Cappuccino was only around 50 ml. But available with soy milk.

Average Hard Rock Cafe- nothing more nothing less.

We've visited many Hard Rocks in many different countries and cities. The one in Amsterdam isn't bad, but it's not exceptionally good either. The service left a lot to be desired, and special requests were completely overwhelmed. On top of that, the food was, unfortunately, only average. The Messi Burger had no flavor and was completely cold. The Classic Burger was warm and the best meal of the four. The Caesar salad was also quite tasty. The atmosphere is typical Hard Rock, and there's not much to say about it.

Came here last march for dinner. We made the reservation about an hour or two before visiting, I recommend booking in advance instead as the table we were sat at was quite a tight squash. Our server Franco was an absolute star. The food was nice and reasonably priced. I ordered the chicken burger with fries and my friend had the chicken strips with fries. Both were delicious and we received a free desert. Will visit again!

We received a warm welcome and didn't have to wait long for a table. The service was super friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were delicious.

The Hard Rock Café is located in a quiet area. The outdoor area is peaceful and cozy.

It is in a beautiful, peaceful location and has a pleasant atmosphere.

They do not accept dogs, the Irish pub next to it does, and they are very nice

If you collect Hard Rock T-shirts like me then this is a must during your visit to A-dam. But does anyone really go there for the food? I mean it was good and everything but with myriad really excellent restaurants to pick from Hard Rock isn't where I'd go if I wanted a culinary experience. If you want a Hard Rock Cafe experience, this one satisfies! We had an excellent server (thanks "Paul"), a great canal view from our table, and the food was good enough. Along with all the cool music artifacts hanging everywhere this is a fun stop if you have time to penetrate that far into Amsterdam.

The Hard Rock Cafe never disappoints😀 We would like to thank Giovanni from the bottom of our hearts for the professional and very friendly service, who shared his life story with us. From the menu we chose the Original legendary burger with a bottomless drink, Bacon cheese burger (kids menu) special Messi edition, our child chose fruit as a side dish and the Messi menu comes with a free drink. We also had One night in Bangkok spicy shrimp, BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and lemonade. The food was perfect as always, we didn't wait long and the children also got ice cream as a freebie. In addition, we received a discount coupon for shopping at the Hard Rock shop and there was a small figurine as a gift with the Messi menu. We also really appreciate the wet wipes that they always bring us after the meal at the Hard Rock Cafe. We all left very satisfied. Even though we don't directly seek out the Hard Rock Cafe, whenever we see it, we go there to eat, because so far it has always been a great experience with amazing and fresh food. Price/performance ratio is not right

The truth is, after having been to a few restaurants run by this company, this is without a doubt where we've received the worst treatment. From the person who escorts you to your table to the person who waits on you. It's a shame...

Excellent service, great staff and a nice menu. Location next to canal is a cool bonus. No complaints as with every other one in the world I've been to.

Disgusting cocktail and horrible service

The Hard Rock Café is an American (burger) restaurant with a rock 'n' roll atmosphere. The food is prepared quickly, is delicious, and served beautifully. The staff are friendly, attentive, and in a great mood – something you rarely see these days. It's best to reserve a table in advance – since there were two of us, we were lucky enough to get a table on the spur of the moment. The location is easy to reach – it's right next to a canal, where you can also book canal tours. Be sure to stop by!

Felt a lot less of the usual Hard Rock experience. Our waiter was amazing, and really lovely, service was interesting- food came very quickly - before drinks! Atmosphere was lacking the usual HRC charm and excitement. Live music in the (separate) bar was disappointing. Generally the layout was very like being in a tunnel of tables with a little bit of memorabilia on the walls.

We went on a Sunday night and I think they were in a hurry to close, we booked in advance so they should have let us know the time. The food was not good and my sister and I felt sick during the night.

We chose this American restaurant because of its gluten-free menu and its wide variety of options, and we chose a burger with its gluten-free bun. The staff is very friendly and explains everything. They're also fully trained on cross-contamination, providing information and giving you added peace of mind. The burger was delicious and the bun was very soft. The fries were not greasy at all, and most of the sauces were gluten-free. They have two desserts: a brownie and ice cream, but we didn't get to try either because we'd been eating all day.

Unfortunately, the Hard Rock Cafe restaurant chain has declined considerably for me. The food at my last few visits was really not good. The menu has been slightly changed. The nachos are not what they used to be and are unfortunately inedible. Some indefinable sauce makes them really sour and the portion size has also gotten slightly smaller. They used to be great, why change anything? And this time we ordered two burgers. The BBQ bacon, which used to be great, and the new Smash Burger. Neither were good, the Smash Burger was a disgrace. Rubbery meat from the frozen section, which you unfortunately noticed in the taste. And then the more than €20 per burger is simply a disgrace. There are much better chains or small restaurants these days with higher quality burgers for less money. It gets two stars because the service at the Hard Rock Cafe is always very friendly and attentive.

Food was super tasty, only a pity they don't sell bread with herb butter anymore 😪 COMPLIMENTS for Dominique who served us, what a nice, sweet and friendly hospitable young man, you certainly don't come across that often anymore. Hence our nice tip for him. Will definitely come back soon

It is in a beautiful location next to the canal. The service quality is always great as in all of its branches. However, the place is a bit stuffy and the memorabilia displayed on the walls was quite poor compared to other hard rock cafes.

The staff was amazing, we got earlier than our reservation and they seated us no problem. Also our waiter Jonny was super attentive, polite and fast, and the food… SO GOOD. The only reason why i’m not rating this 5 stars is because of the price, since i found it quite steep. It was almost €30 for ribs and then €9 a beer, i get we’re in the touristy part of Amsterdam but they’re a bit much.

Had a great experience. Food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. This restaurant has a canal view and we enjoyed it a lot. The staff is polite and professional.

I was really excited to visit again after 12 years, but sadly, it was a letdown. The cappuccino was terrible—tasted like colored water with no real flavor. The interior has changed a lot since my last visit, and not for the better. It felt surprisingly empty, which was disappointing. The biggest shock? The music. They were playing Spice Girls! In a place that’s supposed to be about rock? That totally killed the vibe. The only saving grace was the shop. It still has an awesome selection of T-shirts—great designs, a bit pricey as always, but honestly too cool to pass up.

I went with three children and was surprised by the attention they received. The first order was for them and they received toys and paper and crayons to draw. Special cups for them as well as lots of smiles and kindness. I highly recommend it.

We came here to celebrate my Son's 9th birthday while on vacation and everything was great. Our server Dominic was absolutely wonderful with our larger group and multiple drink orders, he even offered to take a photo of us at the end our our dinner. We ordered the hot fudge brownie to share for my son, but they also brought out his own sundae with a candle and sang happy birthday, he was in heaven. My experience in the Rock Shop was also wonderful, the cashier helped me find the perfect pins and remembered me when I came back to claim my souvenir glass. I have been to at least seven other Hard Rock Cafes around the world and this one was by far the best.

Hard rock has always had a special place for us. We sat at a table by the canal and the waiter who took care of us was very polite. I don't remember his name, sorry man. We ordered nachos and then tried their burgers. Of course we had Heineken beer with it. I hope we meet again!

Service is excellent. The menu has changed a lot. Everything tastes frozen; no fresh products. The pizza from the kids' menu is like cardboard. Too bad—I used to love this place.

One of my favorite HRCs. Our waiter Louis (?) did a great job! We will come back. But I think that the size of the Twisted Mac is not the same anymore...

A friend made a reservation stating that one of us needed gluten free menu. We had to ask for that again. We had to wait to place our order because the server didn't know that we were there. The food was good but not great. Overall a good but not a great experience.

Rainy and cold day (so do I) and I had 2h to spend outside, when I found HRC, push the door of the bar side and was warmly welcomed by a nice barman (thank you so much),  warm setting, warm capuccino, good music : definitively the place to be for me .

Arrived in Amsterdam for my birthday last week and stumbled across hard rock, great atmosphere and amazing memorabilia inside, coffee on the expensive side for what it is but also had a great shop. Ended up buying a mug, Oliver was very friendly and recommended me some places to visit. The recommendations were great! Great customer service from him and made the experience even better!

We were unpleasantly surprised by the service, which did not make the effort to move us to a table near the canals, supposedly because it was supposed to be reserved for 4 people, while a few minutes later a couple sat down without a reservation.

Good atmosphere, good service. I ordered the iconic Hard Rock fajitas, which I've ordered in other cities around the world, and I must say it was a bad experience. The portion had nothing to do with what was illustrated on the menu and what is usually served in this restaurant chain. It was very small, there were flies. I only liked the drink I ordered, but the food was a total flop! The prices are excessive for what it really is!

Great family dining experience, so good we came back before leaving Amsterdam. Food and drink were on point and we had lovely service from Yulia as well as a french server from the bar team, apologies I didn't catch your name. A must visit if I'm Amsterdam whether you're a fan of hard rock or not. Only improvement would be a little more rock music and rock memorabilia.

I visited the Hard Rock Cafe in Amsterdam, for my birthday. Although not everything went to plan, I must commend Joanne the manager for a memorable experience, I feel she went above and beyond, certainly the extra mile. Joanne put the customer at the forefront of everything, and even presented me with a lovely birthday gift. I would like to extend a big thank you to her, for her excellent customer service.

Went for lunch. The waiters are very friendly. The burgers and ribeyes are very tasty. The nachos are also tasty and the portions are very generous. The french fries are American style!

Great atmosphere, great service and food.

Tried to get a table for 3. The Host asked if we were getting food, I replied drinks and snacks. He directed us to the bar, there were no seats, I went back and told him that I have a minor with me (15) I did not want to stand at the bar, he said it was fine and to go back to the bar. We ended up having to leave because they wouldn’t give us a regular table. We wanted alcoholic beverages and appetizers and we wanted to stay for a while as it is raining and would have ran up quite a tab.

Great food, staff and atmosphere

We waited an hour for stable for 8 and when seated noticed half the room was empty, and stayed empty while people waited to be seated. Nachos were overdone, burgers, salmon chicken were fair, and service was good. A little disappointing in food considering the quality I'd food here at the San Francisco location.
