The food was absolutely amazing. If you go and have a dessert you must have the apple pie! It's the best I've ever had!

We entered and were seated at a table. I have never experienced such bad service in my life. There was no welcome or smile. Tjerner walked around confused and the people in the kitchen have never seen the light of day with skill. We were three friends and quickly agreed that this magnet of a name from a good chain. The food was half cold and the steaks were almost raw in the middle. You must not do that on minced beef. The fries were made in advance. And the burgers had no taste!!!!! Yes, I'd say it's a piece of shit. I love burgers more than anything. It's the livery.. But mc d does it somewhat better than the big appel. I would not recommend this place. Stay away from that and try the Korean place. It can figure it out down there.. Could I give zero stars. Had they got it. Then I just forgot that the cola was also tasteless. There is not much American about it.. It's a shame to call it American I think a damn American would fall to his knees over the rise of crap they are doing.. €108 for 3 people. I think €50 would have been more suitable.

Four of us ate there on New Year's Eve and had reserved a table due to the good reviews. There was a special menu on New Year's Eve, which was of course much more expensive than usual. We all wanted to eat a nice medium steak. The waiter practically persuaded us to take a rib eye steak. This is much better than the sirloin steak. Since the waiter was nice and we took his recommendation to heart, we ordered 4x rib eye steak. Absolute failure! The steak was so incredibly tough, fatty and gristly! Plus, this was NEVER a rib eye steak. It looked completely different and didn’t have the familiar “eye”. So for 40€ per steak, it's just a disgrace! When asked how it tasted, we all said it wasn't that great. Then he walked away shaking his head and from then on another waiter served us and billed us later. We wouldn't recommend it.

Helaas niet wat we hoopten. Ik bestelde een tenderloin biefstuk medium maar kreeg een compleet doorgebakken variant. Was wel te eten maar beetje droog. Was geen saus of jus bij alleen maar twee kleine tomaatjes. Mijn vriend had spareribs maar was erg droog , geen saus over ribs heen. Vooraf brood met kruidenboter. Brood was lekker warm maar de boter was veel te hard. Dessert was niet vers gemaakt

The waitress and waiter were super friendly (the italian ones that were there). They we're really nice and we had a good talk. The food was great and we're super full now. :)

Whenever we visit Amsterdam, it is worth a visit for us. We can recommend the burgers and spare ribs. Keep it up...

We ate burgers & out of 3 burgers, one was still raw and one was dry as a shoe sole. The service was nice, but we were simply given four portions of fries without us ordering them. The fries were of course also included in the bill.

Service super neat, sat on the terrace with lovely patio heaters. Yesterday I had a delicious meal with my family, the tenderloin was super tender, the spicy spareribs had great taste and good quality meat. Burgers were richly topped and, according to the children, super tasty. Desserts also a big enough! Definitely worth repeating for us on our next visit to Amsterdam.

It was ok, the waitress was half asleep and you have to expect 2 hours to eat, even though the restaurant is EMPTY. There was still a table with 4 people and a friend and me but it all went on for too long.

We had a great time (on a quiet Monday evening!) for my husband’s 50th! There were three of us - our son was with us as well. Food was great but I have to say that service was exceptional. Matilda was just fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed and was friendly, approachable and fun all evening! Thanks so much for the special birthday dessert - he loved it!

If you serve surf and turf please train your chefs on how to remove the poo shack from the prawns, a big black poo shack was left in my prawns was absolutely disgusting, then the service staff had the cheek to ask for a tip when the service cost was added and they messed up our drinks order normally I do tip but not when a big dirty poo shack if left in my prawns would never go back.

Without infamy and without praise. This is obviously a place in a very touristy area. Chosen for a quick lunch. Pretty good tomato soup, good Jacked potato, decent avocado toast although unfortunately the egg was a little overcooked. Friendly staff although service a little slow.

I recommend for a quiet meal in the center of Amsterdam. We had the signature burger and everything was great, the fresh and good quality ingredients, the fries and homemade sauces, in short everything was very good. The prices are fair for a city center brasserie.

We had a lovely lunch here. It was delicious, and the portions were huge. The Philly steak was a delight, and so were the round fries. Anton, the manager, was so attentive and kind. He took good care of us throughout. He even changed up my cocktail to suit my taste buds. It's definitely a place worth trying.

Was quiet and I wasn’t expecting much but it was absolutely amazing, probably the best food we had the whole trip. We got the sourdough bread with garlic butter to start and it was incredible, so fresh and warm. Then we both got the steak and a side of chips to share and they were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

I had ordered a orange juice. There are no price in the menu of that drink, it’s about 5 euro. And when they brought me my drink it was not a juice, it was water with flavored powder. It was so not tasty. It was the worst juice I have ever drink in my whole life.

Området for udendørsservering så hyggeligt ud og der er opstillet terrassevarmere. Personalet er venligt, imødekommende og tog hurtigt imod vores bestilling. Maden, burgers og nachos, var da udmærket men vi havde forventet langt bedre til prisen, €14.90 for burger med pommes, €10.50 for nachos. Pengene havde været bedre brugt et andet sted.

Tasteless even for American food, even if you order "spicy". Tourist oriented, not cheap which is okay but then nickel and dime you (not okay) for things like ketchup (75 cents), small portions, and beer sizes not printed in ml so assume tiny. Much better restaurants nearby for same price. Dissapointed.

Pero los propietarios definitivamente no son estadounidenses y no tenían idea de que era el Día de la Independencia. Bueno, eso no es gran cosa. Hacía bastante frío afuera, así que queríamos comer adentro. Pero había música fuerte y en su mayoría mala, así que preguntamos si podían rechazarla. Dijeron que sí. Nos sentamos, y tres veces la música volvió a subir. Encontramos esto increíblemente grosero. Solo dinos de inmediato que solo la terraza está abierta. Así que salimos, y había calentadores de patio, así que el frío no era tan malo. Nuestras hamburguesas llegaron, y había una dulce chica sirviendo. Cuando estábamos a mitad de nuestras hamburguesas, los calentadores del patio se apagaron, y aún no habíamos terminado de comer. Ahuyentado por segunda vez. La comida estaba bien, pero la hospitalidad era realmente horrible. Muy poco americano.

A bit strange. The website states that everything is Halal, but they do sell cocktails. I don't think they quite understand it. Just to be clear, Cocktails are HARAM. If you as a seller are not afraid to sell alcohol, why should I trust you when you say that your meat is halal. Total deception.

In de Belgische horeca is de klant steeds koning. Een principe waarmee ze in The Big Apple duidelijk moeite hebben. Meermaals werden er fouten gemaakt tegen de bestelling waarbij de ober telkens beweerde dat wij het zo besteld hadden en zijn fout dus ook niet wou rechtzetten. Het afrekenen sloeg echt alles. Twee maanden op voorhand reserveerde we onze tafel en betaalde hiervoor €90 voorschot. Een bedrag dat er bij het afrekenen automatisch zou worden afgetrokken, althans zo werd ons beloofd. In realiteit was het anders. Toen we de ober wezen op deze fout, kon hij het bedrag niet meteen teruggeven, noch per overschrijving, noch in cash. We moesten maar een mailtje sturen met ons rekeningnummer in. Na een heftige discussie waarbij de ober ons ook nog eens beschuldigde van een onbeleefde toon (je zou voor minder) sloten we de avond af met een gevoel van verontwaardiging en zonder onze centen.

Very bad experience! We made a reservation with a group of 11 people and already paid 90 euros in advance. No problem of course and we were guaranteed that this would be deducted from the bill on the day itself. The service was terribly rude and made us feel like he found us extremely annoying. Firstly, there is an error in the drink order. When we look at each other a bit quizzically as we notice that there are 2 colas too many, the waiter very impatiently says that the fault is US's. We tell him to put down the colas and we'll drink them. When the food arrives there appears to be another mistake. A portion of regular fries arrived while curly fries were ordered. Again the waiter invariably commented that WE had made the mistake and not HE. We also said here that he could put the fries down and we would solve it among ourselves. After the meal, another bottle of water was ordered (because tap water is not offered), but when he came a little later to ask if we wanted something to drink, it turned out that this order had not gone through either. You can already guess... OUR mistake. At checkout he "forgot" to deduct the 90 euros from our bill. When we pointed this out to him, he indicated that we should send an email with the account number and that he would refund it tomorrow. Since we were a bit suspicious about this, he responded very arrogantly with: "That's just a human error! It can happen, can't it!?" According to him, there was no way (cash or bank transfer) to refund us on the spot. We were sent for a walk WITHOUT our 90 euros or any proof that this would be paid and the comment that he didn't like our tone...

The staff was really rude and didn't want to give our fee back. On everything we asked we got a really rude answer. For example: We asked for the curled fries and got regular fries. So we asked to change it for the curled ones like we asked in the first place and got the answer ' you didn't ask for those but ok' instead of sorry I will get them for you. It wasn't a nice experience at all. The food was good.

Very good time in a small, fairly quiet alley. The meal was sometimes original (banana cheese steak) and correct. Mojito cocktail >> to perfect. The waiter very nice and helpful unfortunately sometimes not coordinated with the other waiters (refusing to sit at a table for 6 of us there were 4 of us which we understand although hoping to enjoy the sun. A few minutes later a group of 4 young people were installed, too bad) otherwise everything went well. No children's menu FYI.

The place is large, has outdoor seating, and fast service There are many menu options and they have brunch and late breakfast In the burger section, you have the freedom to change the burger from meat to chicken with the same mixtures.. The food is delicious.

Definitely not recommended. Food was old and lukewarm. The male waiter who works there dropped the plate of food and then accused me of it and kept it up. The outdoor spaces are very narrow, adapted to the conditions there in the alley. The food, we had the spare rips sweet (well seasoned but could have been more) and the house burger with French fries, was quite tasty. The price level has already increased quite a bit. The staff was quite friendly and attentive. Card payment possible without further ado including tip.

Do not expect an excellent meal in this restaurant. I had an avocado toast, I've never seen one like that. The egg was overcooked, there were a few small pieces of avocado and tomatoes here and there and that's it. I also asked for water. The waiter told me that he didn't have any tap water (we believe it...) and that there were only bottles. In short, not great.

We were actually on the way to another restaurant but burgers were being delivered to a table outside which made us stay here and the decision was exactly the right one. The staff was super friendly and quick. The food was delicious and worth every cent. The burgers are amazing and the fries are really tasty Next time we're in the area we'll definitely come back

The starters were very good, which doesn't change the fact that we waited for the food for over an hour and still didn't get it. We asked the nice waitress when it would be ready and she replied that after an hour of waiting, the chef was starting to prepare the food. I don't recommend it, we wasted 1.5 hours and left hungry.

We ordered our food at 20 past 7 we were waiting 2 hours not all food was out by 20 past 9 food was cold and not all food came out and food came out raw would not recommend
